Ninjato, formerly known as Störungstelle, is a Shaolin glitch master from the streets of Ghent. He created the ninja character based on the sounds of Amon Tobin, Eskmo, Loops Haunt & Lorn: heavy sound design combined with organic leads, humongous drops & kamikaze driven melodies. In recent times, Phantasy have provided the soundtrack for many adrenaline fuelled nights and hazy mornings with critically acclaimed albums from Daniel Avery ('Drone Logic') and Connan Mockasin ('Forever Dolphin Love' & 'Caramel'). Their latest discovery Ghost Culture emerges from the shadows to make the space between those two worlds his own. Since announcing his arrival one year ago with a debut single 'Mouth', the London based artist has built up a feverish following with a further pair of ear catching singles.

This trio of sell-out releases, each pressed on 'invisible' vinyl, offered a glimpse of a rare talent whose music was just as at home in the club as it was in ones bedroom. Now Phantasy, are proud to present his self titled debut album, a collection of ten tracks rich in emotion, musicality and sonic artistry.

SWEDENS MARTIN BRODIN WITH A WICKED MINIMAL TRACK WITH A REMIX FROM PIG & DAN

As ever with the Hell Yeah crew, there is an interesting
back-story to the label's next release, the ambitiously
titled Coast to Coast EP. Firstly, the title refers to the
fact that Justin VanDerVolgen hails from the east and
Doc Martin the west coast of America, but that's not
all... The label boss first heard Alexander Robotnick's
'Undicidisco' track in a set by Golf Channel associate
Justin Vandervolgen. He went to ask what it was and
turns out the track had only been released digitally. Keen to give it the full release it deserved on wax, he fully licensed it and got a remix from the man who first played it, as presented here. So far it's done well, with Running Back boss Gerd Janson playing it recently at P-Bar - of, course it went down a storm. The track itself is seven minutes of playfully droning bass synths and boom-bap percussion. It's alive with darting synth tweaks and twitches and races through outer space at an inviting pace, radiating good time vibes from start to finish. It's a similar story with the b1 - Hell Yeah's Marco heard one of his (and dance music in general) heroes, Doc Martin, playing it and immediately wanted to give it a full release, but not before asking Doc for a remix. That remix is released here and is a heavyweight, shuffling bit of house funk with a tight, knotted and tumbling bass refrain propping up soaring diva vocals and grainy, infectious claps. It's a wavy and hugely inviting groove that has plenty of lip-curling attitude to it. A fine release with a great backstory that comes complete with great vinyl artwork designed by Andrea Amaducci, this Coast to Coast EP is yet another fine weapon in the Hell Yeah cannon.

together with his buddy dj kent the japanese producer and ardent record collector kza already wrote some music history. under the name force of nature the two friends from tokyo created a rich oeuvre of not dated music under the guidance of their large vinyl collection.

beside their own work they produced and remixed in and outside of japan artists such as dj shadow, five deez, sly mongoose, or keiichi sokabe.

in the last years force of nature been quite in terms of collective production work. kza, who once started his music career as a dj for hiphop, soul and funk, released a solo album and a string of highly acclaimed 12inches on endless flight while dj kent emerged with his own unique sound and musical style to one of the most highly respected djs of japan.

now kza is ready to release his second solo longplayer - dig & edit 2' - an album whose title tells much about the production of itself. like for the antecessor - dig & edit ' a voluminous record collection and the ears of an unlimited music lover has helped kza to shape his unique sample based arrangements.

anew he went through his vinyl library between midnight and morning searching for miscellaneous rhythms, harmonies, and melodies that he could turn into something fresh, new, and singular. as he is in love with loops and trained his ears by the work of sample grandmasters like pete rock, large professor, or marley marl he knows exactly where to cut and edit - a skill that makes his music never sound like a conventional edit production.

with plenty of studio artifice, the help of his friend kuniyuki, and some super tight editional bass and rhythm programming that has been added to the original sources he produced tracks that gently balance between breezy disco fever, laidback balearian slowmo emotions, and highflying house attacks.

each of them is full of sensual grooves and is charged with catchy folk, rock, disco, or library samples who's origin can be only deciphered by those who dig records as deep as kza does.

of course, all listeners who aren't into record digging will have plenty of pleasure too. because it is not necessary to know which mysterios source kza used. one can easily be carried away by his

Daft Punk's 'ALIVE 2007' set, which won 2 Grammy Awards in 2009 (Best Electronic Album and Best Electronic Single categories) and was previously only available on CD and digital, will be released for the first time as a double vinyl with a triple gatefold sleeve.

Derived from their live performance at Bercy on 14 June 2007, this album was originally published the same year on November 19th. Through this amazing live experience, Daft Punk manipulated and reworked their established material, transposing and deconstructing the structures of their studio tracks.

A limited edition of 'ALIVE 2007' will be released at the same time, in a special box including the album on 2 solid white vinyls, plus a vinyl bonus (Side A: the show's encore (human after all / together / one more time (reprise) / music sounds better with you) /Side B : 'ALIVE 2007' pyramid logo etched), a 52 pages book (pictures taken during the shows), a slipmat and a download card.

'ALIVE 1997' is also being reissued separately. Lost in Michael Jackson's woodland estate young Will Williamson was a happy soul, breast fed and reared by a family of disco Llamas, he'd canter hither and tither to his heart's content, chewing on the lush grass and shrubs planted way back in the Motown days.


Until the day the bulldozers arrived to clear the estate and mine the fabled Tree of Soul. Outraged, the Llamas quickly militarised and Will found himself leading the Llama army against the machines. Sadly for Will and the Llamas, they were trained in combat by Bubbles, Michael Jackson's favourite monkey and could only offer thrown semen and faeces against their metal foe and it was over as soon as it began. But as is the way with super heroes, Will didn't die. He was spirited away and placed in a montage, where over the proceeding years he grew strong, running along beaches and up and down steps to Bill Conti's Theme from Rocky.


Father Funk is a superhero. Big with the bass and big with the beats, he's one of the Ghetto Funk scene's sharpest up and coming talents.

Three previously unreleased Mike Dunn recordings taken from sessions recorded between 1989-91, recorded under his MD III alias. Acid. Recommended!!

After his highly acclaimed album Dripping Point in 2009, his first very own Tacky Dream EP and a nice remix for Marbert Rocel on Compost Black Label, Teheran (Iran) born DJ & producer Shahrokh Dini finally is back with a new 12". For this EP, he teamed up with production mastermind Jan Krause from Beanfield. Besides the album and some 12"s on Compost, Shahrokh's release history is spiced and bottled with lots of good house music on labels like MoodMusic, KID Recordings, BBE, People That Make The Music, Strictly Rhythm, Ministry Of Sound and others.

Michael Reinboth and the whole Compost family lovin' and callin' him: the real true p party animal. P stands for persian, passionated and in a positive meaning: pain in the DJ booth. Definitely you already have or will see him socialising at any good party, or if you catch his DJ vibe, it's trained, professional, gorgeous, fun, deep and paaarty, too. As DJ, Shahrokh is resident in Karlsruhe's Mood since more then a decade and recently got a new residency at "Trust" in Berlin. He usually spends the summer time in the southern territories of Europe, thus he will be part of the (Off-) Sonar Festival in Barcelona, ADE in Amsterdam and the party circus of Ibiza this year.

Shayan is dedicated to his brother, who sadly passed away way to young ...

The EP features an extended mix of the title track Black Mist (the original featured on last year's Outer Church compilation), new track Bulk Erase and a remix of Black Mist by fellow OC collaborators Old Apparatus.Pye Corner Audio is the audio recovery project of the Head Technician, a mysterious and studious figure who has developed the ability to travel sideways through time and space via a) the use of rewired analogue recording equipment and b) the judicious application of moss and fog. Alongside the self-released Black Mill Tapes research series (recently collected on vinyl and CD by Type Records), the Head Technician has released music through Dekorder, Type, The Tapeworm and Boomkat Editions, not to mention a full-length album, Sleep Games, on Ghost Box. Earlier this year, he was coaxed out of the lab and indeed the British Isles to join Mogwai on their European tour, where he took considerable pleasure in sampling the lichen of foreign lands. The Head Technician claims not to know where the bodies are buried, but would be happy to show you his reels.Old Apparatus were specially selected by the Head Technician to remix Black Mist, and have turned in a distressed deconstruction in keeping with their rusted iron aesthetic. A collective of shady individuals most often found muttering obscure invocations in the low-rent drinking dens of North East London, their stubbornly uncategorisable sound debuted in 2011 with a hissing, creaking self-titled 12' on Mala's esteemed Deep MEDi label. For the first remix release from The Jaydes debut LP, Dame-music has raised the bar by
inviting one of the true pioneers of house music to give us the honour of his own version of
'Area 89".

Boo Williams has been shaping the Chicago house music since the very beginning,
releasing timeless tunes and LPs, like "Mortal Trance' or "Home Town Chicago" LP, on wellrenowned record label such as Relief Records.

'Area 89" blends both the deep and acidic, with a touch of jazz-like rides rocked by Bloody
Mary's voice, chanting the words "From Side to Side'. The Jaydes signature rhythm can be
heard from the first few bars and lead you to a sudden break introducing the deep pads that
characterise "Area 89". Eventually the pad subtly fades away to let an acid line take control,
revealing the more aggressive side to this tune.

Boo Williams' "Tech Dub" reconstruct of Area 89 turns into an insane DJ tool and proper
dance-floor killer. The Chicago producer chose the acid side of the original and gets a hook
on you from the first beat of his rework. After a minute of introduction the bass comes in
and the mind game begins, holding and releasing the pressure out of the track. A definite
house music anthem.

James Blake heads up the debut release on 1-800-DINOSAUR with two tracks showcasing the new labels forward facing manifesto. 1-800-DINOSAUR is the brainchild of both Dan Foat, the man behind R&S Records revival and Blake who also run the 1-800-DINOSAUR club night together with Airhead, Klaus and Mr Assister at Plastic People in London.

The release leads with metallic house banger 'Voyeur Dub', tried and tested to devastating effect on the Plastic People dance floor in 2012, leading to a shortened arrangement of the song finding its way onto Blake's critically acclaimed sophomore album 'Overgrown'. On the flip 'And Holy Ghost' is a beat-less sojourn into the future soundscapes of electronic music and a deft reminder of Blake's ability at traversing genres with ease.

New Dawn Baba Stiltz hails from a tradition of funky outcasts centred around the calm yet unpredictable city of Stockholm, Sweden. Since his infant days he's been guided through the nitty-gritty basics of what it is to be a true music lover by some of the city's most prolific artists, producers and djs. Despite his youth, 20-year-old Baba boasts an impressive discography, with two albums of dreamy folk-pop (as The Betlehem Beard Corporation) and a string of hit singles within the elusive Skweee scene already under his belt. His more recent studio adventures have led to three 12' releases on Stockholm dance label Studio Barnhus as well as recurring production work for post-rap phenomenon Yung Lean. Total is Baba's debut album under his own name and his finest work to date.
