amsterdam based record label just edits is back with another release made for the floor.

hip house party anthems sounds a bit cheesy but this is exactly what the tracks do when played on a proper sound system. these tracks were never meant to be released and could
only be heard on the floor at the right place at the right time. But since reactions were always so overwhelming these tracks are now released for everybody to enjoy.

the a-side features original tracks from amsterdam cool kid tommy theo (this is his first release)and label founders l'atelier. The b-side is filled with 2 stacy kidd remixes that fit right in.

The ninth release from the well-formed Holic Trax label comes from Italian born hot property Tuccillo, fresh off the back of his massive EP for 2020Vision and recent work as Doublet with Holic boss Tomoki Tamura. This new EP will get released on a limited run of 500 coloured vinyl as well as digitally with each package containing different tracks.

Tucillo's sound is a cultured but club ready one with plenty of melodic intricacies and cues taken from chill out, disco, house and techno in equal measure. These four new tracks prove he is a master of his form very much still on the rise.

Up first is 'Just Gotta Believe' featuring Howard. It's a big, airy track with a rubbery bassline that rolls along with a sense of uplifting charm. Muted acid lines and Howard's vocal help flesh out the track and all in all it's a fine modern composition that's hugely refreshing.

Next up is the pumping house affair that is 'Organmind'. The beats and percussion are classical inclined but the melodies darting about within are loose and jazzy, romantic and heartfelt and really elevate the whole track. Some breathy female voices and more trumpet lines weave in and out and make for a perfectly pure house experience.

Vinyl only 'Introduciendo' is a more muted and mellow track that deals in minimal beats and waify, dreamlike melodies. It's the sort of thing you can easily get lost in and given the subtle intricacies, proves Tuccillo to be a real master in the studio.

Final track 'Musickly' is a digital only bonus that is full of gurgling tones, plenty of congas and weird synth sounds. It's trippy and intimate and really draws you into its centre as the louche drums slowly build around it.

Four killer tracks here that all explore slight different niches but all excel equally. It's a fine way to start the year for the always-considered Holic Trax.

Late March will see Kerri Chandler return to his beloved Madhouse Records via a collaborative single with Troy Denari, backed with Steve Mill, DJ Spen & Soulfuledge remixes.

New Jersey's Kerri Chandler has been heading up the Madhouse imprint since 1992 and over the past two decades has released a string of material from himself, Dennis Ferrer, Tony Lionni, Voyeur and many more. Here though we see Chandler's groundbreaking 'Track One' instrumental get a new lease of life with a production rework and Troy Denari's vocal stylings.

The original mix kicks things off and sees Chandler's infectious New Jersey swing and bumpy square wave bass hook run alongside bright synth sequences, horn licks and Denari's expressive vocal contributions.

Steve Mill rounds off the A side with his remix, bringing a more contemporary edge to things with a robust rhythmic drive while subtly blending echoing snippets from the original into the mix.

On the B side DJ Spen steps up alongside Soulfuledge on remix duties, delivering a typically soul infused interpretation employing soft piano chords, smooth string lines, hooky organ licks and shuffled rhythms alongside soaring loops of the original vocal. The pair then turn in a 'Dub 4 Real' take on things, bringing the sleek melodies and swinging percussion into the limelight...

The second offering from No More To Roam, Comes from one half of "2deepsoul", Rai Scott. A 3 track EP of low slung, sultry beats. Clarinet Moods, The EPs namesake, comes in two different cuts both with the Clarinet skills of Rai herself, the "Melody Mix" is real nod to the afterhours, subtle drums & A haunting clarinet lick, While the "Lazy dub" a little more upbeat, still has that afterhours vibe, carried with the clarinet & simple percussions, Closing things up here is "Move to the Front" built for the dancefloor, a Rolling bassline & synth, layered over a rolling percussion makes up the final cut.

Following a solid year of releases kick started by Beatport #1 'No Distance', collaboration with Innervisions boss Dixon, we've witnessed Guy Gerber's RUMORS label go from strength to strength. In its debut year the label has already had guest appearances from Seth Troxler and Chaim, and now Guy himself is set to reveal 'Rumors On The Dancefloor' featuring Miss Kittin.

Set to be Miss Kittin's debut appearance on the label and also marking the eighth RUMORS release, 'Rumors On The Dancefloor' is a powerful embodiment of Guy's innovative imprint. Divided into two parts, the release is built around a symbolic whisper and deep bass guitar riffs that follow a galactic-inspired house and techno framework - with part two a harder offering awash with Guy's signature blend of melodic soundscapes and stylish beats.

Over on the white isle, RUMORS is also encompassing a hugely successful event series held at Playa d'en Bossa's beautiful Beachouse. The party has its own unique ethos whereby each week, the lineups can only be discovered by hearsay and word of mouth. In addition to his weekly party in Ibiza, key dates in Guy's diary include Space in New York, Story Nightclub in Miami and ENTER's Space opening party.

Just in time for the summer peak comes an EP by Swedish producer, HNNY. The lead song is a sentimental, romantic serenade, decked out with lush vocal samples, fortified by a simple, bouncy bass and jazzy drums. Young Marco speeds the tune up and creates a longer instrumental lead-in that sounds like cutting room floor scraps from an Altered Images studio session in the early 80s. A cheerful and perky reinterpretation that is made all the more bittersweet thanks to the late (yet rewarding) incorporation of the fragile swoonings of the original.

The flip supplements 'Mys' aesthetically and sonically, which makes sense—consider it the second half of this two-part composition. It's still a saccharine and gushy little nugget, but one that's a bit more beat-heavy and layered (plenty of sax!) Gothenburg natives, Shakarchi & Stranéus, morph the tune into a deeper, loopier ditty that will surely set any floor ablaze with it's sharp edges and sleek synth washes.

Whether you're embracing your loved one to these four songs while sprawled out in a cushy patch of park green or boogieing on a dancefloor, we know they'll do the trick and meld to the moment you're in.

The third instalment of King Street Sounds Kerri Chandler focussed "House Legends" series sees us digging into late 90's territory with the EP kicking off with "Harder Gets Higher", a stomping Garage groove with dope flourishes of live percussion, typically heavy on those swinging drums and the deepest bassline, all of the trademarks we've come to expect from the man himself. Following on is the heavyweight 6.23 club mix of "Grass Cutter" lifted from his "Trionosphere 3" release from 2000, serious Latin-esque drums cascade over one of the funkiest basslines out there to create a devastating club tool, a perfect way to shake up any dance-floor. On the flip we're treated to a pair of stellar Kerri remixes, Ananda Project's "Awareness (Kerri's Dark Dub)" kicks things off, a taut, driving piece of sultry, late night house featuring some sublime spoken word vocals from Mia Tuttavilla. Rounding out the EP in fine style is the gospel infused sounds of Carolyn Harding's "Pick It Up", as deep as it gets, uplifitng organ, piano and vocal led sweetness, this is pure HOUSE, one for the heads indeed. All featured tracks have been fully licensed from King Street, remastered and reissued with %100 involvement from the label. Essential House music for the seasoned heads and neophytes alike!

The Lost Records vinyl special series begins with a collection of remixes and an Original track from label bosses Leftwing & Kody.the A side leads with One Nation which was a great success when released digitally this year and is the first track included on this vinyl sampler. The second track is a remix of "Don't Look" from the same EP as One Nation & remixed by Luca Cazal. The AA side includes two stellar remixes. Hector took on PAWSA & Wade's Anahata and added his gritty twist to it. The second track is Detlefs remarkable remix of Philip Baders "Handmade" which has been shaking dance floors since January this year!

A newcomer joins the LPH WHITE ranks and we couldn't be more thrilled! World, meet Leo Wo¨lfel, a prodigious producer from the heart of Germany!

So in love with this fella's sound are we that we managed to squeeze four stellar originals on a 12' and flesh it out with a Jacob Korn remix. Talk about bang for your buck.

Remixes by Ron Trent & Trinidadian Deep of this Japanese artist that goes by the name of Missing Soul. Spiritual house music!

Pair of fresh cuts from Portuguese disco-duo Cisco Cisco on Apersonal Music. Continuing the love saga that started with "If you want me" and later with "Higher" now they uncover two versions of the same single, jazzy days and nights. "Jazzy days" is a laid-down melodic house tune that builds up along soulful voice samples and live percussions, it feels optimistic and refreshing, a perfect track to set things up. On the flip side "Jazzy nights" takes another direction as a disco-rock uplifting tune aiming at later on into the night moments, it grows and grows driven by a synth solo that brings the jazz into the mix, this is Cisco Cisco in their modernist fashion.
UK disco connoisseur Ron Basejam (Crazy P) stepped into the release by remixing "Jazzy Days", as usual to an original track level, taking a more straight disco direction. As expected the result is impeccable and works beautifully. On the same duties Apersonal founder Andres Vegas stripped down "Jazzy Nights" added new synths and accelerated the bpm, his remix builds up from a dreamy mellow house track into a melodic space-rocker where the original also stand

DJ Octopus begins 2015 as he finished 2014, with a typically forthright selection of late night jams that join the dots between vintage deep house, acid, European techno and the analogue style jack tracks of Willie Burns and the L.I.E.S crew. There's a particularly day-glow feel about deep house opener "Untitled", which features looped organ riffs and energy-packed drum machine rhythms. "The Player" switches things up nicely thanks to some brilliant, cut-up slap bass antics, while "Ghost Antics" sounds like the sort of early British acid track that was found lying around on a dusty DAT. Finally, "Purple Pills" invited you to drop illicit refreshments and lose yourself in a brightly coloured fusion of rave chords, bounding beats and clandestine textures.

Frank & Tony AKA artists formerly known as Adultnapper and Anthony Collins, respectively, are it again on the former's New York based Scissor & Thread imprint. First up "Apprentice" is a well-crafted deep house cut with swirling, captivating pads that build to a climax. "Lamento" with its sexy bassline, playing off the thumping drum programming and yet more swirling pads that they've proven to do so well. Lastly "Modest Season" is the sort of smoky, dubby, after hours house that Swiss producer Agnes was known for similarly, back in the day.

James Duncan - producer of a flawless string of sublime House EP's for labels such asReal Soon and his own Le Systeme imprint, horns man for Metro Area, Morgan Geistand Lem Springsteen (Mood II Swing) and currently on trumpet duties for Sal Principato (Liquid Liquid) - invites us to join him on a whistle stop tour through some of the subway stations in his neighbourhood for the first in a series of Brooklyn Beats'.
