As a long-time resident of the party and native of the city itself, Stacey Pullen was the natural choice to launch the label. Since emerging as part of the 'second wave' of Detroit techno, his heartfelt and unpredictable sets have sustained him a packed touring schedule the year round. With acclaimed mixes on fabric records, 20:20 Vision and Balance Music to name a few, his experimental mixing style and encyclopedic music knowledge cement his status as a true innovator in

Pelvis are a multifaceted leisure system celebrating dance, music, film and spatial design through their parties, clothing, record label and other projects. Coital embellishers, tailors of state, gland enhancers, dance party Linux; a black economy enterprise, forever slippery and uncatchable.

Released on TRAX in the golden year of 1989 Chicago's Virgo aka friends Eric Lewis and Merwyn Sanders, along with peers such as Larry Heard and Frankie Knuckles, gently pushed House music towards a more musically sophisticated realm that hadn't been explored previously. Across 8 tracks Virgo took us on a deep exploration of sound that was both masterfully arranged and produced and in direct contrast to a lot of the rudimental and jacking drum tracks that were the flavour of the day. There are few debut albums in the electronic sphere that can claim the title of 'classic', but this is surely one of them. A defining turning point in dance music, the dawn of what would later be referred to as the 'deep house' movement and sound is all evident with the grooves of this legendary record. Often listed as one of the 'greatest LP's of all time', this self-titled odyssey remains an essential, must have record that never loses it's magic, flawless in every way and still trailblazing today. Long time overdue: a new David Mayer EP that's added to the Keinemusik release roster. But the time Mayer invested into his current body of work seems more than worthwhile. There's no other way around it than declaring: with this Jaded EP', David Mayer is back with a bang!

With the eponymously entitled a-side, he is cutting to the chase as hardly ever before. The mission is obvious: take no prisoners on the floor.
The ingredients he is blending in his machines for that matter, should push every vital rate up into the red zone immediately.
A groovy bassline enclosed by a rustling and analogue vibe that leads into a single note hook with immediate signal effect. Mayer
weren't Mayer though, if he wouldn't let his knack for details show within the middle part. But as a whole, this tune is characterized by an almighty peaktime bounce.

Bold on the other side is rather going for some soothing sex-thing. Crinkling shakers, harmonic caress and percussive teasing are
heating up an atmosphere in which Sooma's croon is loosing any ambiguity. What is she saying there Touch me and do it right.' You might address this to the quality of the entire track itself. After going through Mayers hands, this thing will unerringly trigger every pleasure spot.

Following on from recent remixes for Underworld and RY X and with his long awaited track -X- dropping on Innervisions, Art Imitating Life is the new musical canvas from Eagles & Butterflies. Volume 1 contains a series of 4 experiments from Mr Butterflies, delivered on limited edition coloured vinyl.

Originally released on Anthony Shakir's Frictional Recordings in '97, FBK's 'Knobs & Switches' is set to drop on Rekids' newly launched re-issue label R-Time Records.

Since his debut FBK has had a prolific career spanning a number of decades, releasing on Rekids, Barba Records, and the now defunct diametric. This release follows on from the Sir Lord Comixx re-issue, giving classic tracks the acknowledgement they didn't initially get first time round.

The release starts with the robust kicks and stuttering hats of 'Rollin' On 6/4' as murky notes make their way into the mix, making way for the sci-fi inspired synths and infectious claps of 'Reservations & Misgivings'. Packed with fast paced drums, 'Feedback' employs a sultry bassline and euphoric harmonies until skipping percussion and echoing effects conclude the package in 'The Tet Offensive'.

Future Sound Of Antwerp are the post-digital children of the city's techno scene, all forgotten mixtapes, and nighttime drives to Ghent. These three tracks, all different, were all produced and mixed at DEEWEE, at night... with a purpose.

The EP Saltamonte features 3 songs in new musical territory, possibly making associations with South American shamanism and connections to dance rituals through both strange and familiar sounds, acoustic and electronic. 8* Following recent excursions channeling the big room sound, Project Pablo returns with a sleeker, more refined EP for Technicolour.The resulting five tracks span upbeat opener 'Napoletana' - a rough and ready duet between a MFB 522 drum machine and Juno 106', through the swirling improvised piano loops of 'Last Day' - recorded in an hour just before he packed up his gear at the studio of fellow Montreal residents Braids and moved it all home, to the bumpy 2-step of 'Less and Less'. The Canadian producer has had a stream of quality releases via labels such as Clone's Royal Oak imprint, Spring Theory, Lone's Magicwire and most recently Ninja Tune's Technicolour imprint.

Richy Ahmed has been steadily building his Four Thirty Two label over the last 12 months, introducing talented artists such as Jansons and Senzala to the fold. The imprint is fast becoming a 'go to' label for those who like their house music uncomplicated and hype free, ensuring the Chicago and Detroit house sound burns bright with new music indebted to the roots of the music.

After recent releases on Seth Troxler's Play It Say It label, and remixes for London Grammar, Richy brings the goods back to home on this latest Four Thirty Two release.

On 'Can't Stop Us', chunky stabs incessantly jab at meaty drums, as a female vocal loop rides on an opening filter. The good vibes build to a classic house piano crescendo that Marshall Jefferson would certainly approve of, as the soaring strings and evolving drums raise the rapturous mood to dizzying heights.

On the flip, the percussive disco drums of 'Dials Mavis' are bolstered by a booming sub bassline whilst deft keys and deep Rhodes chords deliver the infectious melody on this bumping jazz ride.

Techno heavyweight SANTONIO ECHOLS (REESE & SANTONIO) returns on D-RECORDS with the DETROIT BOUNCE EP. "FACES" is a showcase of vicious grooves while "THE POEM" features deep spoken word. The classic "BOUNCE YOUR BODY TO THE BOX" is remixed by PROJECT 01 & "VALENTINE" goes into deeper territories.

For our 10th release, we put together a ten track compilation featuring new material by us and our friends titled 'Nie wieder Streit'. The four sides showcase some familiar Lehult sounds as well as some unexpected surprises: Original crew members Liem, Lucky Charmz, Eddie Ness, Johan Kaseta and DJ Assam are all on board with new material, while Matthias Reiling, A Trap Jr. & DJ Slyngshot, Rainboy and Epikur also join the party. For the special occasion we wanted to compile a collection aimed at the DJs that have been buying our records and supporting the little outlet we founded a couple of years back. LHLT10 is one of those versatile records that offers something for every situation, one that never leaves your bag. There's chilled, intricate songs for the early and late hours on the dance floor, dark and vibey Jams for the dungeons, joyful and weird peak time stuff, and some straight up groove monsters - all on one release. Following the massive success of Sireli, Viken Arman returns with a delicate and subtile EP. Aragatz, which means « Ara's throne » in ancient Armenian, is an isolated volcano massif in Armenia. Like this mountain, travelling through time and history, Viken Arman combines ancient cultures with modern deep grooves.
The new EP evolves with the tracks. It starts with « Believe » a very mellow track featuring Feathered Sun singer Jo.Ke and continues with « Zephyr » which almost sounds like a spiritual prayer. « Aragatz » and « Yari » have deeper and darker groove. The release also features two remixes of « Believe ». One from Nicola Cruz, adding a soft touch from the Andes, and the second one from Acid Pauli who brings his futuristic waves to the track.

These tracks are inspired by a series of events that happened in a difficult place by the end of the 90's. Everything was possible with the help and efforts (without profits) of many people who believed in this new sound that would change everything and hypnotized us till the rest of our life's. This record goes to all the people involved in that movement, who still stand strong and believe in the true original values of this musical genre called Techno.

''Noir Jungle Part II'' finds the Italian producers 'Cardace & Perazzini' once again demonstrating originals and exciting modes of expression, not to mention the extraordinary level of detail in their music. It rounds the project off, with yet more unpredictable diversions of their immersive sound design to paint a vivid and unique landscape at its most dynamic framework. 'Swinging Plans' places the drums at the forefront of the mix, using incredible layers of brushed, rolling an expressive live recordings to create a truly thrilling experience that speaks to the deepest human instinct for rhythmic sound. 'Internal N.5', intensify the Techno-influenced energy as it races ahead on a tightly wound rhythm, adding a rich array of sounds into the mix to create a focused and detailed trip loaded with cinematic tension. 'George Is There', takes rich chords running through delay and reverb while maintaining a pronounced house groove with perfect and subtle touches of jazz into the track, invigorating sonic experience aimed at both, the mind and the dancefloor. 'Below the Earth', This is a perfect example of Cardace & Perazzini's exercise of restraint, keeping the mood simmering while still displaying their love for ear-snagging samples in between the folds of the track. 'Really Low Mind' sets a thrilling tone straight away with a rolling drum beat taking the lead and subtle tonal sweeps filling in the space around. It's a testament of skills when sequencing drums, not least when it peaks after a tantalizing breakdown. 'Night Train' sits easy on the ears but there is a deep level of production at work that reveals itself as the heavily processed samples of instrumentation starts to unfurl halfway through the track.

Following on from the very successful re-issue of the 'Little i EP' by Fresh and Low,Foul & Sunk Records are proud to announce the release of Fresh and Low's seminaldeep house classic 'Wind On Water'. Originally released on Chicago's Guidance imprint in 1996 this record put the Glasgow producers firmly on the deep house map with it's soulful blend of sparse beats, emotional pads and funk-laden fat bass-lines.
Re-mastered and re-cut with care and love, this release still sounds contemporary and yet retains that special vibe from the time it was created. A true House Music Classic.

Wrapping up a short summer break, SPEICHER returns with a powerful double bill from rising duo HUNTER/GAME. It's the Italian producers' second contribution to the series, after having amassed quite a few nods with sneaky club anthems "Hexagon" and "Bermuda" KOMPAKT EXTRA 83). This was followed by their strong rework of Weval's "Gimme Some" - a much- acclaimed highlight of our Total 15 compilation (KOMPAKT 340 CD 125). The new material sees them digging even deeper into the hardware circuits while cranking up the momentum a notch or two: opening banger ADAPTATION doesn't feel the need to ease you into the experience, dropping you right in the middle of its frenzied staccato synth throb instead. Meanwhile, THE PATH opts for rich, saturated colors and epic melodies, slowly building its case until it's ready to blow its lid. These are two extraordinary techno tunes that will command your attention and leave no floor unturned - an essential release for both the label and the artists.

After a gap of seven years JS Zeiter returns with the next instalment in this long running, but intermittent, series of releases.
The JS series originally started back in 1997 with the semi-legendary JS-01.This is a limited release, pressed up on dark red marbled, coloured vinyl and featuring two different interpretations of the main track.

Opening this essential release is the slow and spaced out groove of 'Replicant V1',with fat synths and dark spacecraft sounds circling you as the drums grow ever bigger. 'Shoulder of Orion' then drops into a rickety groove with soulful pads stretching off to the horizon as rough drums march below. Proving he has real range, 'Motor Rotor' is a deep and driving track that conveys a real sense of motion as it races along an intergalactic highway, and 'Love on Time' picks up the pace yet further with twisted synths roaming free above a motorik kick and icy hi hats. Last of all for the digital release, 'Replicant V2' is a spacey and dramatic techno effort with widescreen pads and gurgling synths making for a turbulent ride.
First vinyl bonus cut 'Hang On' is a forceful seven minutes of eerie and cosmic techno that stretches out in all directions as manic melodies rain down from above.
Lastly, 'Traktion' is full of ominous drones, crashing percussion and sombre pads and makes for a dramatic and driving track that is filled with pain.

lvin Toffler was overwhelmed. When in the morning of October 4th, 1988-it was his 60th birthday-he was starring with a still somewhat absent look into a bowl of cornflakes, he thought that in the surface structure of the yellowish shimmering milk which was making an emulsion with the maple syrup and slowly but irreversibly corroding the crunchy crystals on the flakes, he could see through a window into a timeless dimension. Toffler, who at that time had reached the peak of his fames as a future scientist, was sustainably disturbed from his peek into this extra temporary peephole. In none of his books-'Future Shock' had just been released with yet another edition featuring a proud printed note on the book cover stating 'more than 5 million copies in print'-did he ever mention this occurrence. Even after his death in June 2016, no note on this incident could ever be found in his estate. The 'flake dimension' as Toffler called it in notes which were later shredded remains a secret of opaque, hard-to-grasp radiant power.

Maybe it's too simple to describe 'Pneumatics' as a creation coming from this cornflake world Without doubt. Are there any more precise terms or instruments to determine the multifacetedness and beyond-timeliness of the 'Pneumatics' soundscape There are still unknown. 'Pneumatics' is, after releases at Innervisions, Die Orakel und his own label Sound Mirror, the debut album of Orson Wells (as long as you don't count in 'Jupiter' - Wells's first LP which was released in 2014 with 48 copies on cassette-have fun digging for rarities and bargains!).
Perhaps Wells, known in Frankfurt under his real name Lennard Poschmann and as an employee at the record store Tactile, is only a messenger. Or a psychic. The sound manifesto that he apparently transmits from Toffler's secret dimension tells of a city of upside down pyramids ('Tianon'), of passes into the land of the five elements ('Multipass') and dead straight four-to-the-floor lines which appear bended within the spherical dimension (''Geodesic'). These beats are right on the heels of the ones of Intersteller Fugitives; the strings sound like that at any moment a vocal sample edited by Moodyman could warp over through the Cornflake wormhole. Pneumatics is the science of all technological applications powered by condensed and often by quite heated air. It is a matter of mechanics, compression, jackhammer, ramblings, high pressure levels, valves for blowing of steam. On 'Pneumatics' it's all about this. And more. Orson Wells's album gets to the point of the post-retro futuristic state of the dancefloors of the house and techno clubs of this planet. It is like a peek into another dimension, right on the golden cut of spacetime geometry.

Essential 12'

RA+RE, pronounced "rare" is a Paris based female only record label. The name of the label, RA+RE Records, describes precisely what it aims to represent: rare, underground, unique and meaningful music. RA+RE Records wants to gather talented feminine artists that will spread their sound and sensibility all over the world. RA+RE Records is excited to present its 5th release, signed by the Argentinian artist, Victoria Engel, vinyl only, available in February 2017. This new EP blends dub-techno sounds and an aerial and mind-blowing atmosphere. Keeping the groove and the feminity of all RA+RE Records release. Also, the talented Dutch artist, Andrea Cichecki marks an amazing remix very minimalistic and powerful.

Vyvyan wants to keep his real identity secret, which is something I can't help but respect (I did the same for a couple of years).
Without the context of personality, the music really does do the talking, and in this instance it has a lot to say.
Both original tracks on offer here are unashamedly dance floor focussed disco / techno mutations, and they're both as compelling as they are fun.

For remixes we've drafted in Paul Woolford, a genuine UK legend, who by this stage is irrefutably nestled in the top tier of the British electronic music Royal Family.
His remix perfectly displays the unconventional wit, and mastery of groove, that's propelled him to where he is today.
I imagine its the only track we'll ever release that begins on a breaks and baseline assault, and ends on samples of farmyard animals.

Finishing off the release we have a remix by my dear friend Christophe (Futureboogie) in advance of his own artist EP on Me Me Me later this year.
Christophe skews the original's frenetic rhythms in to a vintage sounding bumping piece of machine driven house with an Italo-esque twist, which is as good as this description sounds.

Third Stream is the new project developed by Alex Font, it's dedicated for the real diggers. No promo pools, no SoundCloud, Facebook fan page or shit like that. We can call this a true "only vinyl" record with JUST 150 copies.

Arandel 'Turbatrix' (Computer Club)

'Turbatrix', the eighth release on Sheffield's Computer Club imprint, is provided by mysterious French artist Arandel. No newcomer to the musical spectrum, Arandel has long been associated with the French label InFiné, alongside global names such as Carl Craig and Apparat.

'Locus I' surprises as analogue rasps and pings spar with lush synths and a driving 4/4 rhythmic code. Key track 'Locus II' is a siren to the ghosts of Sheffield's electronic musical heritage, with relentless bleeps and a concrete sub-bass.

'Locus III' is a midnight romp through a neon-tinged city where only the holograms know your name. The fourth and final track, a blissed-out ambient piece soaked in celestial sounds, is a meditative end to a thrilling journey of invention and musical mastery.

Opulence founder's Jonny Cruz & Cali Lanauze are back together for the labels third release and their first Joint EP since 2012. This four track Ep sees the pair give us each their own personal take on the groovy, dark and trippy sound that is Opulence. On the A side we see Cali Lanauze's "Come Around Three". Simplicity is the key here, all the elements combining beautifully for a deadly hypnotic and trippy head nodder. Visionquest's head boss Ryan Crosson steps in on remix duties delivering two killer versions of the original. The first being the galactic mix (vinyl only) and the second his more simple step mix.The galactic mix is a more minimal interpretation with stripped back beats and lunar atmospheres that is sure to take the listener on a journey.
The simple step mix is a more fat laced club stomper with a bouncy baseline and pads that make this cut a brilliant dance floor gem. Jonny Cruz's "Pseudo Reality" is all about the infectious groove and unconventional vocal samples that are used smartly with grainy pitched effects.Organic elements combine with a series of precise drum licks, ever-evolving whirrs and background nuances, that are sure to keep listeners moving. On the remix the label welcomes Canada's own Analogue Wizard, Cynosure and Haunt label Boss Mike Shannon. Mike comes on board with his "Pseudo Reality Bike Day Mix".A peak time acid bomb with analogue drums and infectious leads, the type of track that will get you sweaty on those 3am vibes.
