The Berlin based Gel Abril kicks off his new "Closed Circuits" label in a full form presenting a strong record by talented Polish artist Oskar Szafraniec, a crafted producer, known by his latest 12" on Rawax with Ricardo Villalobos, EPs on Murge Recordings, Cyclo or collaborations with Pier Bucci. For the debut release on Closed Circuits, Oskar has collaborated with the Swedish "Very Addictive" duo and has delivered his best work to date, a music piece called "Borderline", filled with lush vocals and hypnotic pads that kicks the label with a proper bang.

On the A side - the label boss himself, Gel Abril, turning "Borderline" into a burner, with his very own distinctive groove and effected vocals, surely to be one of the main tracks for 2018! On the flip side, already mentioned original mix of "Borderline" and another collaboration by Oskar, this time with legendary Chilean master "Pier Bucci", bringing minimalistic experimental goodness, perfect for those special after hour moments we all love. Gel Abril said: "listening to Borderline for the first time it just blew my mind and gave me that goosebumps feeling you rarely get with most of music out there these days, I felt very inspired remixing such an magnificent vocal, it is one for the books!"

This year we got 100 releases , we never though that we will arrive so long with the label and also enjoying it as much as we do releasing all cain of artists and music always close to our Minimalistic mental sound. So to celebrate this number hundred we will release 2 vinyl one that was released past month of JSeptember and a second one that is the one you listening now , having inside some of the artists that have released with us. The release will be a full Vinyl only with no digital release or promo. If you want it you get it in this format. Reversion (noun): the final, often mind-melting, product of a deft studio act in which an original recording's elements are rephrased in a unique new way.

You know this. We know this. Monaberry knows this. They proved it last month with Super Flu's agenda-setting 'Re:Dings' EP and they've done it again with this stunning reconstruction collection of andhim's 2015 Monaberry smash 'Rollercoaster'.

The evidence is clear from the off as 'Mr Bass' gets knighted to Sir Bass with two beautifully contrasting remixes. First up is groove-chowing Leeds lothario wAFF who fires up the energy to hip-shaking tech-level and gradually re-introduces the original's cosmic elements as the groove charges into the vanishing point. La Fleur, meanwhile, adds a much more ominous fog-horn style bass texture that groans moodily before the majestic melody cuts through a Garnier-level arrangement twist. Stunning.

'Cloys' also enjoys two superb reworks: Re.You provides a touching twist by paying close attention and respect to the original's swampy, underwater harmony with additional percussion, a richer weight and a more restrained sense of emotion. Ever one for contrast, Eagles & Butterflies flips the original into a brighter narrative direction with a timeless undulating groove and dizzying cannon of humanised textures. A true yin yang reversion scenario; one for opening, one for elevating.

It's down to Zurich's Animal Trainer to sign off this beautiful reversion experience with a bulbously rotund bass-licked take on 'Rollercoaster'. Upping the tempo and stripped back the layers, the duo create more space for the woozy vocal soul snippets and a whole new melodic layer.

Mind-melting, deft and rephrased with innovative articulation, andhim's originals have been paid the utmost respect from five of this decade's most exciting new house talents. Monaberry knows this, we know this... Now you do too.

Mats, Skylarx, Nibc,... With his modern, inspired by Detroit & New Jersey style house vibes, this talented young french DJ/Producer is fast becoming a hot name on the house scene... "This EP is heavily inspired by my time spent in Seoul, South Korea, and especially these amazing minutes, when at night, you cross the Han River - by the Hannam Bridge - feeling how wide & impressive the river & the whole city are... and suddenly you would like to stop the time and to have this Nightride to last endlessly..." Fulbert Fulbert isn't falling into a category of producers that are writing music because it's on trend, he's all about a deep rooted, heartfelt love of house.

Italian producer Giuliano Lomonte enjoyed a stunning breakthrough year in 2017, with tracks such as 'La Musique' and his Brouqade debut, 'Reflections' immediately marking him out as an artist worth keeping tabs on. Equally as adept at turning his hand to minimal pastures as he is rough-and-ready techno cuts, he returns here to Dana Ruh's Brouqade courtesy of an EP that goes some way to cementing his reputation as a producer of some renown.

Featuring two gloriously atmospheric cuts, the Dramadam EP kicks off with the brilliantly titled 'The Colour of Dramadam'. A deep, dubby techno cut, its not lacking in groove, with its intoxicating loopy vines sure to work a treat on any dancefloor it's allowed to let loose on. A perfect track with which to bring the night toward more peak-time territory, its many melodic flourishes are every bit as colourful as its title lets on.

The B side is no less emphatic. Characterised by a host of squelchy acid tones, it's another vibe-heavy number that keeps the listener second-guessing from the off. More hypnotic sounding than what's come before, it too is sure to prove a popular DJ tool over the coming months.

An EP that compounds Brouqade's reputation as a consistently eclectic and varied vehicle for discerning electronica, Giuliano Lomonte's presence here is very much a snug fit for both parties. All things told, this is top drawer stuff from an artist - and a labe =l for whom we've come to expect nothing less.

As we check off another year for Steyoyoke Recordings, we would like to thank you for joining us on this wonderful journey and appreciate your continued support. To mark our 6th Anniversary, we invited some of the best producers to create remixes of our favourite Steyoyoke tracks of 2017. The release will feature remixes from Hernan Cattaneo, Audio Junkies, Martin Roth, Simon Doty, Nairo and Township Rebellion. The anniversary vinyl will be showcased and sold at our 6th Anniversary Party at Ritter Butzke in Berlin.

Opening the release is Hernan Cattaneo and Audio Junkies' take on BLANCAh's Talus'. The result is pure energy with playful rhythm, soothed by melodic synths. Reinventing Soul Button's Paramour' is Martin Roth, who certainly adds a bit of forthright edge and deeper undertones to the original mix. Next up is Simon Doty and Nairo's version of Nick Devon's Overflow', which unleashes vivid elements scattered across heavy bass lines. The fourth and last track in this release is Clawz SG and Nick Devon's Syndicate' remixed by Township Rebellion. Saturated with explosive attitude, this remix surely won't let one stand still!

By his debut album "Alcatraz" in January 2015, ARAS label head André Galluzzi thrilled with a concept album inspired by occult sounds and psychedelic vocals. "Alcatraz" as a whole is a captivating piece of art, its the essence of a club night. Now after received a wave of icredible feedback from "Alcatraz", the bird returns to ARAS with a bunch of remixes of the hypnotic track "Mathilda". Time to welcome Mike Shannon and Jacek Sienkiewicz to the ARAS family. This remixes will be a blast at the club by its very deep and reduced, futuristic interpretations. Mike, as head A&R of Cynosure and formerly Revolver Canada Recordings over 10 years, has shown an uncanny ability to select and produce tracks which have become go-to fixtures in the sets of the industry's best DJs. Far from pursuing the next one hit wonder or sound of the season, his steadfast curatorial vision and passion for the music have earned him the trust of discerning music connoisseurs the world over. Alongside DeWalta, Mike impressed lately with his album "Residual" on Cynosure/ meander back in March 2016. Jacek Sienkiewicz lives in Warsaw and he is a key figure in Polish electronic music scene. He holds Recognition since 1999, one famous label based in Berlin. With one foot deep in classic Detroit and Chicago dance scene, and the other in modern jazz and classical music, Jacek's tracks for the past ten years always try to find a right balance between the avant-garde and dancefloor, between primal emotions and highly sophisticated sonic wizardry. His latest album "Hideland" has been released in August 2016 on Recognition.

Riding high off his freshman release for the legendary DJ SNEAK, DESTRADA is back with his second release. A three track EP of edgy & at times out of control dance music that will remain in DJ crates for many years to come. Played by LUKE SOLOMON, STEVE BUG, SNEAK & MARK FARINA. (POTS N' KETTLES)

After the success of Closer to Freedom in 2014, Chicago legend DJ Jes returns to Tardis Records with the Between The Lines EP, featuring two lost tracks from his personal archives and a brand new offering. Opener 'No Fooling' is reduced to the bare essentials until an elegant snatch of piano and spoken word sample break it down further; when the track kicks back in with a vengeance everyone in the room will know all about it, but it remains subtle enough to work the day after as well. On the flip, 'Between The Lines' is tougher and dubbier and will do some serious peak-time damage, whilst new track 'Lost' is a cut-up banger for the floor and a perfect DJ tool. All tracks have been meticulously edited and rearranged by label owners Eli Verveine and Oscar Schubaq in order to extend the grooves and maximise dance floor impact.

Based in Bath, UK and born out of a love for drinking tea and dusty rhythms. Mint Tea is a platform that searches for up and coming talent within an emerging scene. In this blend, a various artists release with producers from four different countries curated into the perfect accompaniment for late nights or early mornings. With tracks from Moda, Raar, Akasha System and James Henry the release combines a beautiful balance of influences from ambient, lo-fi, techno and house.

Since his emergence in 2010, Madben's melodic, Detroit-inspired techno evolved, with various releases on Caduceus, Astropolis Records, Off Recordings, Inflyte and Bedrock. Nowadays, the Paris-based artist remains a key figure in France's new generation of techno producers, with an upcoming debut LP on Astropolis Records. Swinging from atmospheric sounds to techno, Madben produces an alchemy of rave anthems, hardware material and groovy, emotional music. With support from France's favourite Laurent Garnier, Manu le Malin and Rebekah Warrior, Fréquence(s) unveils his skillfull, mature universe.

12 tracks compose the album. The opening 'Space Bubbles' carries a cinematic, ethereal touch designed for dancefloor, from dusk till dawn. 'Mouvement circulaire' sets out a slow hypnotic rythm, leading to "Narcotica" and its warm melodies. 'MG's Groove', produced with master Laurent Garnier uncovers Madben's house moves, percussive beats and distorted synths. 'Reminiscence' and 'Stripes' wink at Madben's earlier melodic techno inprints, while 'Don't Lose the Beat' uses old school vocal as the LP's boiling point. Modern techno vision is underlined with tracks such as 'Tom & Tom' and 'The Struggle', both waving between UK inspirations, aerial sounds and Ben's original signature. Featuring with Manu le Malin and Rebekah Warrior, 'Grief, Dance to Death' stands out from the rest, swaying betwixt French vocals and rave spirit, whereas the album's last piece, 'Lunar Park', ends the journey with a gripping ethereal melody.

Having presented focused artist releases since the beginning, Dissonant is proud to present its first ''Various Artists EP''. Supporting new talent alongside well-established figures, this collection of tracks throws some exciting new names into the label. Marc Antona makes a welcome return with the thrilling spirit track, "Lord of Combines''. His refined drum science is carefully arranged with immersive organic textures creating a rising energy while maintaining the voluptuous appeal of the rhythm. Jayro shows up a fearless imagination and serious studio maturity, "Psicodelica" lives up to its name with all kinds of head-spinning sound effects whirling around a playful, snaking drumbeat. David Gtronic makes his debut in Dissonant with ''Rana'' where his sonic identity, builtup with organic textures and melodies, stands out in a perfect combination of subtle dub elements alongside strong rhythmic flow. Counrad come across with the hypnotic rhythm of ''The Human Centipede'' where the club oriented groove stretches out with restraint and increasing tension, blossoming outbreak energy engaged this alluring Tech House trip. All four tracks have their own distinct qualities, but combined on one release, they reflect the vibe of the label perfectly.

Time has come for a new AdMaiora release, and this time comes from the hands of Italian Yaya, who marks his debut with the astonishing 'Kayama EP'. Hailing from Turin, Yaya is surely not a newcomer into the global house and techno scene, with appearances from Desolat to Etruria Beat and Kina Music.

He has totally earned his stripes as a reputable DJ and producer over the past few years, having also his own party in Turin called 'Savana Potente'.

In his productions he melt together all the sounds from his multicultural background, collaborating with various Italian producers and being remixed by Tini and Gel Abril to name a few, making bombs after bombs and his latest two tracker 'Kayama' is no exception.

Kicking off with the entitled track EP, serious cavernous bass meets 909 solid groove structure, whilst several females pitched and delayed vocals perfectly work together for an endless hypnotic dimension.

'Come To Me' is the perfect example of Yaya's versatility in the studio as he moves for the second original into a more melodic and trippy space where wisely selected silken pads lap upon the senses. As the track moves on, a gentle acid line joins the toughened up drums and the unpredictable b-line elevate this monster to a whole new standard.

Stomping and heavy kicks, rolling drums and a DC-10's inspired lead are the main elements of his version of 'Kayama'.

The bouncy groove and well-chosen vocal chops definitely make of this track the next dancefloor anthem.

LANDSIDE

Landside, is the first collaboration between the Italian producers Hunter/Game and the Icelandic band Kúra. The sound comes from a deep vibe and melanchonic ambients It evolves thanks to Kúras Electronic and Dub mood, to an intense rhythm flow. While keeping groove as its main element, coming from Techno and House Roots of Hunter/Game Background. Fanney Osk Vocals comes as a clear warm breath in a cold mountain breeze, creating vibrating weaves, introuducing synths and melodies leads that breaks spaces as an intense storm.

Is visionary journey into uncharted lands, ranges of uncrossed soundscapes, merging abstract atmosphere with boundless emotions.

here's a bit of a story to Side A. In 1996, JD Twitch released a 12" by Manchester's Bryn Jones aka Muslimgauze on his then label Pi Recordings. He also, along with a friend, arranged Muslimgauze's first and only Scottish live performance (attended by 6 people). Around that time, Jones, sadly no longer with us and one of the most prolific musicians ever to exist sent Twitch multiple CD-Rs of unreleased material, including the track featured here. He said he had made this track in 1985, and there is no reason to doubt his word although also no way to prove this is true, but we are going to accept his word for it which means that it could be said Jones pre-empted UK Hardcore around 5 years before anyone else. This is made all the more remarkable by the fact that he never used samplers but rather worked extensively with tape loops. The track has been very slightly edited by Twitch to make it a little more club playable. Twitch called in German breakbeat expert and all round tip top producer Victor Shan to remix it and Gerd Janson then asked to join the party too. They turn in a modern twist on UK Hardcore / Rave (via Deutschland) with hoovers set to stun. They also did a more late night hoover free mix which is only available digitally.

On the AA side, we are delighted to welcome the debut release from yet more mysterious Italians; the male/female duo that is Underspreche. "Flowers From The Lake" is based around a sample taken (with permission) from field recordings of the Mukunguni tribe in Kenya and released by Honest Jon's Records. It weaves it into a deeply psychedelic techno track with an extended mind warping outro. Underspreche also give us "Naked" an exquisite hypno techno track that while clinical and precise manages to exude a feeling of warmth so often missing in modern techno.

Neil Landstrumm , UK shapeshifter extraordinaire , returns to Germany with a new 12" ep appropriately entitled ' Munich 72' for Snork Enterprises. If you've hung around the electronic scene for long enough his dashing figure will have crossed your path at some point. Google him if you can be arsed finding out what he's done in the past 17 years. He's spent the last 5
years recording 3 x LP's for Planet Mu records in the UK which has tickled a few bass leeches in their rave caves. He also spent last weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix eating mayonnaise and watching fast cars. Munich 72 had the best design aesthetic of any olympics but unfortunately the worst massacre. The tracks on this ep are the usual mad styles referencing UK garage with Bass Clef,Chi town footwork, glamourous peacefrog reprisals and generally stuff you wont understand. Please try. Playing live @ Fusion festival in Germany summer 2011 was a highlight and showcased the currrent Landstrumm sound much to the pleasure of the excellent crowd. Top Breakers...

Noisedock is back with their second release on NB Records, delivering a harmonic and melodic techno track influenced by the likes of Oxia and Vitalic. Remixes by Alberto Ruiz, Nicolas Bacher and Driving Forces mastermind Sutter Cane make this a techno package you should not miss! Vinyl strictly limited and no repress!

Following on from their second release by Russian producer and DJ, Tripmastaz, the fledgling Barcelona based label drops another blistering EP, this time saturated in acidic 303 lines and crisp 808 percussion by German trio, Daniel Varga, Michael Kuebler, and Sascha Hedgehog, aka REWORK. Having released on Visionquest, Playhouse, Items&Things, Meant, Loveyeah and more, the group continue to reinvent their fresh and funky reimaginings of new wave disco and delve further into sonic explorations. Formed in 2000, REWORK released their first EP 'Anyway I Know You' on Playhouse Records. Several years later, Sascha Hedgehog formerly of French Beat-Punk band Les Quitriche, joined the team. Not long after, their first album 'Fall Right Now' followed and club hits including 'You're So Just Just' and 'Love Love Love Yeah' helped pave the way for them further. Their second LP 'Pleasure Is Pretty' was released in 2007 and remix projects with Alter Ego, Chloe, Magda, Losoul, Jackmate, Trentemoller and others followed. Their musical aesthetic has changed over the years from, in their own words, 'cabaret-independent-house,' to forging a distinct sound that combines icy minimal structures with catchy euro-girl vocals, Anglo-French funk antics and a dash of dancefloor melancholy. With 'Acid Control', the trio see themselves in even darker territory than before, making things much more intense. The release is topped off with an Aphex-esque remix from Venezuelan duo Sergio Muñoz and Israel Sunshine aka Fur Coat, which pairs deep, dark driving beats and a rolling groove that will capture both the mind and the soul.

A busy year is about to end for Cocoon Recordings. We proudly look back to some of the highlights on Cocoon Recordings such as our 100th anniversary release compilation or the last Minilogue album. Not to forget the amazing remix by Adam Port for Daniel Stefanik and last but not least our new artist signings Coyu from Barcelona and Julien Bracht from Frankfurt. The last one of a string of fine releases will come from London based Tim Green. Master Green released on labels like Four:Twenty, Get Physical or Dirty Bird over the last years. His new Cocoon production will be his third one for us which almost makes us his new musical homebase. With 'Don't Like Me' Tim Green presents almost a collage of the current sound of Cocoon Recordings. One can feel the funkyness of producers like Adam Port here and the deepness of names like Julien Bracht at the same time. You also have the pushing and energetic vibe of producers like Harvey McKay in here, too. And for everybody who wants it more crazy and spaced-out Tim Green gives you 'Humming Syrup' on the flipside. Although outfitted with a sweet name this tune is solid freaky business. The perfect track for all the freaks out there! We say good-bye 2013 with a nice melt-down of the sound of Cocoon in the year 2013. Tim Green serves the right desert to a long and delicious Cocoon Recordings 2013 meal and leaves us all with a satisfied smile on our faces.

'AUS Music follow up another solid year of releases that included both EPs and albums from their ever-expanding family with their first of 2015 - another offering from Berlin based Youandewan. Consistently modest in his ascent, Youandewan has steadily built his reputation behind releases on Secretsundaze, Hypercolour and Simple Records as well his release on AUS back in June of 2014. Leaving his astute skills to do the talking, he presents his 'Spiral Arms' EP - a sophisticated meld of deep pads, flecks of acid and no-nonsense House grooves backed up by a remix from Marquis Hawkes. The Dixon Avenue Basement Jams affiliate, Marquis Hawkes then follows up his work on Houndstooth and Créme Organisation with a rattling 90's revision of Fool Be Cool - stout percussion and circling vocal cuts build a mood that's sure to get the shutters open as AUS start the year off right

Lagaffe Tales starts 2018 with an anticipated collaboration with the Icelandic artist ILO that has been some years in the making. With an amazing track record and fantastic edits over the years we are honoured to finally have had the chance to release him.
Take You To Love consists of two tracks, (A1) Take You To Love and (B1) Miracles that each have their own side. Due to the length of the tracks they have the ability to draw the attention in and take the listener on a ride through ILO's soundscape.

Meda Fury presents the debut release of Malmö's Armand Jakobsson AKA Rimbaudian. Taking his name from the modernist poet, Jakobson's music is a beguiling mixture of thumping house, tripped out rhythmic excursions and blissed out, lattice-like synth melodies.

Jacking basement sleaze is the order of the day with opener 'Let Me Beat U', coming on like a vintage Trelik cut, 'Werka 8' lightens up proceedings with a stomping beat and carefree spiralling synths that shimmer with light, 'Holy Flesh' boasts a ghetto drum track and dizzying flute-synth refrain sure to work dancers into a frenzy, things cool down with the mysterious, glacial pads and tuff bass pulse of 'Hold Up Hold On'.From a family of musicians (his father is opera singer, mother a music teacher, sister is a cellist and opera singer), he grew up surrounded with music, but stubbornly rejected formal study, teaching himself composition and production whilst at university in Edinburgh. "I was there for 4 years, and it probably had a bigger impact on me than Malmö - It's such a moody city, and having been a too sensitive young guy there for such a long time definitely left its traces. I can't say how, exactly, it affected me, but i like to think of my musical career in terms of chapters, and that was the first and probably most significant one, up until now."

After his debut in 2015 on the infamous Gang Of Ducks we are very happy to welcome SABLA from Turin on DISK for an ex-tended play. No shit: His dark polyrhythms create a uniquely haunted atmosphere, slowly sucking you into an irresistible vortex of trance-inducing intertwinedness, pretty much like a daemon abduction into the outer space of your inner self!

Carl Finlow returns with a double pack under his renowned Electro pseudonym, Silicon Scally, featuring tracks produced for the live set he performed to a packed crowd at London's long-running Scand night at the tail end of 2017.

In Carl's own words: 'I used to use a real 808 back in the '90s but when I moved over to France it was left with it's original owner, Ralph Lawson. My equipment was gone almost entirely apart from my Apple Mac, which I used to write ALL of my stuff for about 10 years. Over the last few years I've been experimenting with lots of different USB midi controllers and I've finally ended up with a few that really allow me to play around in real time with both my audio and midi parts and I created a setup where I can have full hands on control of two killer plugins, the D16 Group's Nepheton 808 and Audiorealism's ABL3 303 emulation. The main controller I'm using is the Akai APC40mkII which allows me to map a huge amount of knobs to both of those plugins whilst also giving me mixer faders and pads to trigger drum clips in Ableton Live. Alongside this I also use the Novation LaunchPad Pro to trigger all my bass, keyboard and fx parts. The two units work in really nice harmony with each other and they give me a huge amount of real time control over the live set.'

'Live @ Scand' comprises 8 tracks of pure and undiluted electro ranging from glistening cuts like openers 'Chrysonite' and 'Emeril', dark and forceful with 'Candensium' and 'Mordite', the fluidity of 'Fervidium' and 'Antrium', or dappled workouts like 'Plugneum' and closing track 'Omegon'.

Algorithmic apparatus, dissonant strings, saxophones and twisted sounds are the elements that characterize the tracks of this release. Zavor proposes his first personal EP on Playful Science focusing his attention on the possible combination of elements and styles coming from his different musical experiences, from mixtures of jazz sounds and synthetic elements to the more marked and hypnotic rhythm.

Better Lost Than Stupid have announced their debut single, 'Alto', for new label, Skint/BMG. 'Alto', is the first new material from their as yet untitled debut album, which is set for release in 2018.

Paul Hester created his cult Moon Music label in 1997 as a portal for his own productions and sounds. The label was short-lived, with only 3 releases in it's catalogue, all produced by Hester himself. Those few releases on Moon are now highly sought after among House and Techno aficionados who are forever seeking that deeper groove. The interesting part of this story, beyond the amazing music that was released, is that there are many other tracks that never saw the light of the day, thus leaving the full Moon story untold. 'Millennium / Days Gone By' from 1999 is the second Moon Music release and is comprised of 2 cuts that boast Hester's idiosyncratic production hallmarks - slick, glacial, minimal electronic Funk. A-side 'Millennium' is a driving, chopped up groove that just swings in the best possible way. It's taut, with creeping synth sounds that gradually build into a soaring, synth fuelled bliss and vocal snatches. The music is definitely from machines, but it has a human heart for sure. 'Days Gone By' mines a deeper furrow, a subtle, shuffling late night groove with a repeated vocal mantra speaking of 'a new generation'. Again, the beauty of this track is the minimal quality, very few sparse elements but arranged with such soul and care it's hard not to get swept away in the waves of pads that continually roll. Few artists can attain this effect within their music but Paul Hester managed to pull it off wonderfully on the cusp of the new millennium. An absolutely essential release from a gem of a label that remains criminally underrated. Moon Music releases tend to attain high prices on the second hand scene and are often extremely tough to track down due to their limited original releases, now, thanks to Paul, they are thankfully back on the streets, fully and lovingly remastered from the original DAT tapes for our pleasure.

The EP includes the highly anticipated track Peaktimekatten already featured on Baba Stiltz Resident Advisor mix along with two more housebombs both bearing CJ´s signature touch of speed and urgency stretched out over the full length capacity of a records side .His previous release on Karlovak gained huge support from the likes of Martinez Brothers and Cassy..

The fourth installment in John Osborn's DRED RECORDS series will be from fellow UK producer Harsh Puri who goes under the moniker Reformed Society. DRED 004 consists of six tracks in total - three that will appear on the vinyl release, followed by another three that will be digital-only exclusives. Harsh Puri aka Reformed Society debuted in 2015 with this being his sixth consecutive release in order. Harsh's productions caught John's eye, or rather ear, after being sent to him last year and resulted in this release of six solid prime time deep house stompers. Packaged in an understated matte white sleeve with a black and white picture of Brahma (the four headed Hindu god of creation) handstamped on each cover by the label owner himself, this being a continuation of the human skull DRED logo. 'ONE LIFE' opens the 'DIMENSIONS' EP and is the track given to label boss John Osborn for deconstructing and remoulding into his own specific vision - each release will contain a rework from Osborn. If you are familiar with John's previous work you will immediately recognize his characteristic resonating percussion, the tune being a deep house sci-fi storm expedition driven by a full luscious kick covering the tracks of chords from unsettled pads. The EP's title track has ambient sonic rays flowing through it, being aptly named 'DIMENSIONS' - it is also the record's warmest adventure; distorted percussion juggles sparse subaqueous melodic moments, and from here we go into the 12s final moment, 'CHASING TITANOID". Reformed Society goes in with full yet silent force on this one. A warped bassline co-creates the groove with a particularly bouncy beat with sharp strings piercing though.
