We are super glad and honored to welcome an awesome producer in our family: Eduardo De La Calle. Eduardo is not a beginner, he's been releasing music since 2001 on some of the most exciting labels on the globe: Plane E, International DJ Gigolo, Turbo, Hivern, Mule or NONPLUS...
This 4 tracker is a perfect summary of what Eduardo's music is about: techno, incredible atmosphere and sonic landscapes. Here, no fancy titles just numbers, remembering us what's the most important in this: music.

After last year's stellar EP on L.I.E.S. Records, veteran, Brooklyn-based producer and DJ Jake Reif (Savage Hymn, Upsetting Keys) continues to make waves with his Device Control brand. The first side of the new "EP2" begins with Silhouettes: a robotic, techno-funk work out with a nasty kick drum, swirling modular sounds and a Timothy Leary inspired vocoded vocal. An instrumental version has been included for selectors who prefer tracks to songs.

On the flip, Joystuck continues the aural assault with a slightly more stripped-back approach. Hard-hitting metallic percussion and screaming, alien-esque synth bleeps are all that's necessary here to decimate a dance-floor. Finally, Divisive rounds out the EP with a stomping vengeance, its jacking claps and dissonant harmonics have been carefully designed to deliver a sonic gut-punch, taking no prisoners when played on a club system.

After a decade releasing club-savvy music, argentinian producer Alejandro Mosso has lately approached a richer and more profound sound. 'Gaia', his double 12" for Hivern, might be the best expression of such evolution. 'Gaia' is still conceived with the dance-floor in mind -as a matter of fact, some of its tracks have become staples in John Talabot's sets as well as in those of Hivern's core members-. But moreover making people move, it's music that shows a desire of telling stories. "I prefer to refer to them as songs instead of tracks, they all have a certain narrative", says Alejandro. Indeed, these six compositions cover a vast emotional spectrum, expressing raw emotions through detailed and precise productions that never feel too calculated or fabricated. Cuts as Rhea, Uranus and Naiads capture a very specific kind of serene bliss, one in which melancholy is more reassuring than bitter. By contrast, Ares and Dryads explore darker corners, embodying angst through tension-rising soundscapes and solemn choral vocal samples. It's a dichotomy that perfectly captures the ups and downs of any restless mind. In Alejandro's case, it's the result of a particularly introspective period in his life, in which he voluntarily disconnected from the electronic scene in order to regain some perspective on his career and creative process.

Alek S offers up another dose of pensive techno vibes in his "Paradise Lost" EP. Side A opens up with "Bold", a slice of laid back while still pounding techno, boasting zippy synths with an unmistakable analog flavour. It's closely followed by Andres Zacco's rework of "Honey Wheat", an apt reconstruction of the original that's aimed squarely at the dancefloor. The Argentinian producer and recent Ilian Tape alumni dives in with a powerful groove, cutting its way through a suspended atmosphere full of spaced out sounds.
Over on the B-side we're greeted with "Paradise Lost", a slow-paced melody that gradually shifts into a dreamy groove filled with spaced out drums and abstract delays.
Last but not least, the original version of "Honey Wheat" is a somewhat atmospheric, yet functional floor warmer that fits a resigned groove.

The last WRECKS of the 2017 comes to you direct from the studio of Alphonse, four tracks of bonafide and authentic hardware jams produced to the highest degree. Managing to be both unconventional and familiar at the same time, this EP summarises the expertise and originality of an artist that is well versed in the history of electronic dance music. Pressed on very special clear blue vinyl.

Alex Ferrazzi and Matteo Keemani a.k.a. Blue Mondays, longtime Laterra friends and collaborators (with releases on Sonar Kollektiv, Rebirth, Snatch!,Memento, Manocalda as well), strike again. They do it, as usual, their very own way: shades of Balearic flavours in there, but with a very dark and malicious twist. Marvin & Guy add some disco nuances (keeping it raw and obscure, though), while Nick Anthony Simoncino delivers a solid, strict, gloomy dancefloor affair. No frills, mad quality.

Tardis Records are delighted to welcome UK tech-house hero Flow to the Tardis Records stable for their eighth release. The three tracks making up the Trine EP were recorded together with Simon Moorecroft (a.k.a. Simon Vinyl Junkie) around the time of his first vinyl releases back in 1996-1997. All three tracks sound completely contemporary whilst having more than enough old school flavour to give flashbacks to any 90's ravers. Lead track 'Boy Girl Action' has skipping, garage-influenced beats with rolling bass and swirling atmospherics, whilst a breakbeat, vocals and a stabby intro give 'Trine' on the flip a more ravey feel. Closing out the EP, 'I See You' is the dubbiest cut here, with another heavy bassline, cut-up vocals,and subtly swung percussion. Eli and Oscar have loved testing these tracks out on the road and can vouch for their impact on a peak-time dancefloor!

Back in 90's San Francisco; Scott, Gavin and Robbie Hardkiss helped pioneer the American Underground scene with their club nights, warehouse parties and groundbreaking record label. They forged a new direction for dance music with a string of vinyl releases by Hawke, God Within, Little Wing and Rabbit In The Moon, culminating in the seminal compilation Delusions Of Grandeur released in 1995. Delusions Of Grandeur made the Billboard Dance charts, went to #1 on the Rolling Stone Alternative Album chart and launched the international DJ/production careers of the Hardkiss brothers.

In 2018 to celebrate the 20th anniversary, the album was remastered and re-released with this new vinyl.

Clash Lion is a mix of three personalities; Shall Ocin, TERR and Daniel Watts. Three artists with different musical backgrounds merging forces to create a truly eclectic and open minded label. With an approach to release unique electronic music covering a multitude of genres from techno to retro electronica, their passion for innovative and experimental productions shows no boundaries.
The labels debut release 'Return' cannot be more aptly named, as it will be the first release from Maetrik aka Maceo Plex, breaking his 5-year hiatus under this moniker since his last EP 'Unleash The Beast' on Ellum.
Maetrik tantalizes us with this outstanding release. Deep and dark warping modulation, twisting upon a bellowing low end is accompanied by searing experimental riffs slithering throughout Cortex 11 - B
Ninex 7 - C has a low end drone of power, which builds slowing alongside a relentless hat before releasing into a mind bending synth pattern of pans and fluctuations. Synth depth reigns supreme as the weighty beat kicks into gear, completing a truly mesmerizing Maetrik 2 track production.
'Return' will be available on both digital and vinyl release on the 29th September. Whilst the label maybe fresh to the scene, they stand to showcase a string of superbly creative and unique releases in the months to follow.

For house heads of a certain persuasion, DJ Duke is a name that resonates for all the right reasons. The U.S. veteran has been responsible for some of the 90's most seminal moments, chiefly through tracks such as '12 Minutes to Do It' (under his Pleasure Dome alias), 'Party Time' and the Prosumer-endorsed deep house classic, 'Heard'. He returns here courtesy of emerging imprint Solo Werks, who host his latest EP, 'Green Pastures'. A momentous house-led workout, it compounds Duke's reputation as a producer of considerable panache while also acting as an auspicious start to life for the Dublin based label.

The title track is a grainy, old-school cut that bears all the hallmarks of a dusty analogue-jam and harks back to the days of vintage Chicago with the sort of zest you'd expect from a man of Duke's credentials. The other original, 'Skyscapes', is packed to the brim with industrial motifs and is characterised by the sort of effortlessly catchy baseline with which Duke has made his name. Mysterious and ethereal, it takes the listener on an uncompromising and throughly captivating house journey from the off.

On the flip side, we have two stunning remixes, the first of which arrives from New Jersey don, Ruben Candelario AKA Nicuri. A long-time favourite of NYC-based producers a la Joey Anderson, Nicuri turns 'Green Pastures' into a dreamy, acid-led space, adding layers of suspense and a glittering vocal intto the mix as he goes. Last but not least are Dublin-based producers Slowburn, who serve up a stunning version of "Skyscapes". A carefully construed voyage into the deep, it caps off a fine EP with some aplomb.

50 Weapons proudly presents a new artist signing - FJAAK. FJAAK is a Berlin born and raised young trio with futuristic mind but already nostalgic feelings. They are both into analogue machines and equipment as well as into all kinds of digital toys. Though still very young at years, their hardware only livesets are already legendary in their hometown Berlin as well as selected stops throughout Europe.

A rebellion from convention into new sounds and textures from hypnotic bass lines to high energy crescendos, Tervisio's latest offering combines lush rhythms designed for the senses. A bold combination of live jazz and percussive influences from Buenos Aires mixed with raw and deep undertones from Moscow converge to provide an alternative soundscape. and old school keyboards: a straight ­to ­the point !. Cheaper Shepherd is a duo of producers born in the 15th borough of Paris.

Drived by their love of synthetizers and other analogic machines, they've been working in electronic music for years. In addition
to their own projects, they have produced several hip­hop, house and techno projects: Timä, Androma (Savoir Faire), La
Direction, DudMode, Peterbär... Their first EP Origin came out on HelpMe Records early 2013, followed by three other EPs, released on their own label Baldwin Records among others. They joined the booking roster of forecast label in 2012, and released on vinyl their first EP for the label.

Forriner are Lee Forster (Last Waltz) and Oli Warriner (Traela) Having both previously released material under their respective projects on labels such as... ESP Institute, Mule Musiq, Hhatri and World Unknown to name a few.
The duo released their first offering on Futureboogie Recordings to great success, picking up airplay on BBC Radio 1.

With an ever increasing back catalogue under his belt, would anyone still assume, Adam Port's next creative steps are easy to predict Au contraire! Here's his new Keinemusik release you hadn't reckoned with. This very I Never Wear Black' EP shows him changing tune drastically and that in the true sense of the word.
Just have a closer listen to the A-side I Never Wear Black'. You'll discover those metallic sounds of straining strings, that he'll group with layers of shakersounds and a guitar loop that one can read as expression of Port's interest in Progrock and Balearic history. A loop that will pluck whole dancefloors into trance-like condition. Port goes for the big effect through minor means. No vocals, manageable arsenal, no overreacted break-hysteria and still a dense, vibrant and ecstasy triggering ride stretching over more than seven minutes.
E Sound Edit' on the flip presents a quite similar feeling. Once again, Port is aiming for analogue grip und implies all the splinters of sound that come naturally when carving out a vital piece of music. E Sound Edit' is far from perfectly tared, sterile soundslickness. There is hot blood running through all those latin samples, the swinging piano and the recurring use of guitar and surely its vibe will not only get a floor moving, but also bring about broad grins to many faces.

For the first time in label history, Keinemusik is putting out an EP with just remixes. The moniker for this: Doppelga¨nger. The reason for this: Well, we like remixes and were curious to find out how other artists, artists that we appreciate a lot, would approach our material.

With over 25 years in the game, André Galluzzi can respectfully be awarded the veteran badge of honour. A mark of experience and longevity for an artist who has, as they say, been there and done it all. Today howeversees the German take on a new adventure, with his debut release for Josh Winks Ovum Recordings. As a DJ, André has held residencies at three of Germany and the worlds most influential Clubs - Tresor, Ostgutand Berghain. Been the driving force behind his own We Play Vinyl party. Managed his own Taksi (along side Paul Brtschitsch) and Aras Record labels and featured his own music on such highly acclaimed imprints as Cocoon, Cadenza, Ostgut Ton and Highgrade. Back in 2001, having released his seminal mix compilation, 'Im Garten', André embarked on a new series of events that regularly saw him play intoxicating sets of up to 10-hours. The parties went by the name of Submerge and those infamous Dj sets have inspired his beautiful brace for Ovum today. The metronomic kick drum of the title track introduces us to its immersive groove, whilst bubbling and elasticated fx vie for our attention, adding a sublime swing to Submerge. On the flip, Bold, by name and nature, ups the swing ante with its fierce acidic melody, shimmering hats and rasping snare. "After a run of new signings in 2016 - Aus music kick of 2017 with something a little bit different. To inaugurate the new year they welcome in Catz 'N Dogz for three separate interpretations of classic records from the Aus Music archives. Cherry picked from the vast back catalogue are tracks from Bicep, Geeeman and George Fitzgerald - all of which are given a rough, smokey treatment from the PETS Recordings owners. Kicking things off is the remix of Geeman's 'Wanna Go Bang- he title track from his punchy 12-inch from 2015 that now sees a driving and percussive reworking. Bicep 'The Game' is next in line - a track from the Irish duos first solo outing on Aus back in 2013. Soft, overlapping chords are propelled by snapping drums and multiple melodic lines that build an allaying palette The remix of George Fitzgerald's 'Hindsight' then caps things off as more frazzled drums propel a stuttering vocal line and a warped synth pattern. Continuing to keep things fresh - Aus look ahead to another year of new signings and surprises and kick off here with a reminder of the solid foundation that has come before it"

Marco Resmann returns to Watergate after a productive stint at the Red Bull Music Studios in Cape Town with two stellar cuts featuring local heroes Deep Aztec and Black Soda. Tack on a remix from the one and only Oliver Huntemann and another revision from Resmann himself and you have the 'Babylon Side' EP. Teaming up to kick things off, Resmann, Black Soda and Deep Aztec embrace the cultural sounds of Africa's organic percussion and vocal prowess to create a tour de force tune perfectly balance between flashing club lights and vast open skies. Following suit, 'Abadala' sees Marco again with Deep Aztec for a lush ride into deep emotional spaces by applying mesmerizing syncopated rhythms and spellbinding vocals ideal for deeper or more sentimental dance floor moments. Up next is Techno legend Oliver Huntemann who, playing after Resmann earlier this year at the 15 years of Watergate event at Warung Beach Club in Brazil enjoyed his set and the two hit it off, so logically he was asked to lend his trademark sound for a revision of 'Babylon Side' and he twists the original into a heavy Techno belter complete with sinister sonics and fever inducing sirens. Wrapping things up is Marco Resmann himself with his own take on 'Babylon Sides' and delivers a wild and twisted version of gargantuan low end and psychedelic shimmers of the original vocal resulting in a killer tune with a ton of attitude.

As the dust only just begins to settle after the sensational release of Matthias Meyer's Watergate 20 installment, it's time to unleash the mixes' exclusive cuts. Kicking things off, Meyer delivers an enchanting ride with 'LA Strings', where whimsical pads rise and sweep as a hypnotizing bass line whirls endlessly across a landscape of earthy percussion. While still maintaining his trademark sound but taking a slightly deeper path, Meyer conjures up the super dreamy 'Uluwatu'. Settled firmly in rich organic percussion and lush melodies, 'Uluwatu' jaunts effortlessly through overgrown rain forests and lavish emotions. Next up is Gorje Hewek and Izhevski's 'Turgoyakk' and it's an absolute gem. Opulent pads, sensuous strings and powerful keys culminate in a profoundly vivid tour into truly emotional territory. Finally, YokoO & Retza deliver an impressive number with the dazzling 'Satori' which is laced with ornate keys and soft siren calls rounding up the release with timeless style.

Part Three initiates with a thumping dancefloor workout titled 'Riff Shapes' that incorporates an uplifting chord sequence and crunchy percussion. On the flip, 'Size:YES' sees a throbbing lowend join skipping drums as rave inspired stabs add to the track's commanding energy.

Astropolis Records adds to Misericordia's W.LV.S (Electric Rescue and The Driver) four remixes that amplifies the rave vibe of the EP released last year, with more power and agression, with four distinguished guests from techno and hardcore spheres: french veteran THE HACKER, the mysterious and rare LUNATIC ASYLUM, the pilar MAXIME DANGLES and techno hardcore figure TORGULL. A must have for all lovers of the french techno and hardcore scene, a wild ride taking you straight to hell ! THE HACKER rebuilds Blacksmith in his vintage and industrial spirit between electro, acid and techno, while the LUNATIC ASYLUM
rework of Misercordia will catch you up in the dark room of dance, with delicious breaks and metallic spirals melodies added to this rave anthem. Flipside, MAXIME DANGLES is turning Misericordia in a muscular but melodic late night techno assault with dark vocals and his typical synths and chords, while TORGULL's version steps up the darkness with a techno hardcore rework, raw, heavily haunted by vocals, textured and sensory.

Marking the last Crosstown Rebels release of the Summer, Yousef steps into the spotlight with the compelling Vanity featuring entrancing vocals from The Angel. Heavyweight remixes courtesy of Carl Cox, and Bontan complete the package.
Played for the first time by Damian, Vanity was premiered at Day Zero in January, with videos capturing this moment reaching the three million mark. The vocals of long term collaborator The Angel caress the memories of lovers gone in Vanity, whilst the drums and poignant breaks deliver high impact. UK DJ Bontan delivers the first remix, picking up the pace and adding his signature choppy beats. Musical royalty, Carl Cox is up next with an energetic force and increasing intensity levels. Switching it up, Yousef returns with his Black & Acid Dub complete with throbbing drums and stripped back vocals.
Famed for his legendary Circus events in Liverpool and a recent worldwide tour, Yousef has been at the forefront of electronic music for over fifteen years. With releases on Cocoon, Defected and BPitch among others, Yousef also has a weekly radio show aired in over fifty countries, with over 20 million global listeners.

Breaking his silence after twenty years, Sebastian Snoeck a.k.a Sebastian S. will be the second member of the Belgian collective 'BWP Experiments' to release on the Basic Moves imprint. He has handed over two previously unpublished tracks made under the moniker Caustic 14.

So Low is an occasional night in Glasgow run by Iona Fortune, JD Twitch, Katie Shambles and Becky Marshall. So Low is strictly for creatures of the night and plays music that could perhaps be described by the words Dark Waves / Cold Waves / Minimal Synthesis / Maximal Industrial / Lo-Nrg / Forgotten Flemish Goth Bands, Teutonic Apocalyptic Beats +++
It is now also a label, administered by Optimo Music.
The third release on So Low is a 5-track EP from Ian Hicks, formerly one half of Soft Metals. Ian also appeared on our 'Now & Then' compilation EP. Here he commands his own release and sets the synths to stun with 5 tracks of analogue waves ranging from the XTC bliss out of 'Character Collapse' and 'Depths Of Psyche' to the shockwave klang of 'Chemical Environments' and 'Specter', perhaps leaving the very best to last with the ultimate hypno, sex slug groove of 'Continuous'. Subliminal vocals. Wrecked drum boxes. Synths spiralling.

Lagaffe Tales co-founder Jónbjörn drops four tracks on Iceland's FALK Records beat driven sub-label, FALK DISKS.

Since 2008 FALK (Fuck Art Lets Kill) has become a creative hub for Icelandic and international artists involved in experimental and electronic music, spanning noise rock through to power electronics, underground hip-hop to DIY techno and electro. 2017 saw FALK continue with releases from Icelandic hip-hop producer LORD PUSSWHIP, techno/electro producer ThizOne and Canadian industrial techno musician //HUREN//. Berlin based Icelandic producer Jónbjörn, known for curating Reykjavík record label Lagaffe Tales - one of the main pillars in the Icelandic house scene - now joins FALKS' club focused sub-imprint with a robust four tracker.

Moving away from the deep house sound he's renowned for towards a darker and leaner night time aesthetic, 'Amsiak' inaugurates the release with an infectious electro groove as gurgling pings and acidic clangs and drones are liberally dropped throughout the track. 'Aspekte' is a spacious track with blown-out bass sounds that morph and glide across a tempered, slow burning planar rhythm.

On the flip, Jónbjörn goes for a harder techno sound influenced by his relocation to Berlin. 'Sunnudagskaffi' is a bendy, 4/4 roller that contains hidden grooves below the basslines and the acid pings that wouldn't be out of place on a Livity Sound release. Meanwhile, 'Holy B' is pure warehouse creeper techno, complete with machinic tones and the atmospherics of sweat and grime on dungeon brick walls.
