Still reeking from the filth of the TV studio, tabloid mongering and howls of blasphemy from the old guard, DJ Seinfeld is proving to be a hardened veteran of the circuit. A new anti-hero for a humourless and devoid internet age kicking against the Hollywood reptiles.

'Ruff Hysteria' is the sounds from the cutting room floor deemed too unsavoury for public consumption. It's the grind of acid in the hotel lobby and the incessant pulse of a walkman tucked into a tuxedo pocket oozing it's way into the central nervous system. It's four tracks abandoned by the mainstream studios picked up by the grotty b-movie generation. The losers, the freaks, gore heads. Bare bones tackle for the floor and analogue anthems for the disenchanted.

Dusky present the latest 17 Steps release with the 'Cold Heart EP', a four track package that cements their ability to craft a unique range of house and techno soundscapes.
Having spent last year releasing their 'Outer' LP, as well as delivering their second acclaimed Essential Mix and touring a new live show, the 'Cold Heart EP' sees the prolific duo return to their roots in textured house and techno with four powerful DJ tools.
With a nod to vintage New York house through a carefully sourced vocal sample, lead track 'Cold Heart' is a blissed out, atmospheric house epic that blends crisp percussion, soulful hooks, washing pads and a hypnotic lead organ melody.
A favourite from the duo's recent DJ sets, 'Psychic Life Coach' shuffles with dubby grooves, skippy drums and ethereal vocal cut-ups, before 'Bowed' offers a high energy dose of cosmic disco and ravey techno flavours, Rounding things off, closing track 'Balfour Betty' is built around warm, swirling synth textures that meet at the intersection of Detroit techno and vintage progressive trance.

Half Baked Records proudly presents the sixth instalment of their sought after Vinyl Only series. After having being featured on the second release of the label, the Canadian modular man of mystery, aka Mike Shannon, drops another swinging monster to his already extensive list of wax slabs. This EP celebrates Half Baked's 5th birthday and the A side, "Over and Over (Time To Celebrate Mix") is the perfect embodiment of that, a cybernetic-gospel-funk monster that will drag even your grandmother to the middle of the dancefloor, shaking her ass till she faints. On the flip side we find "Just A Glimpse", featuring Mike's
signature elements, crisp drums, a spooky yet playful bass and teasing electric piano jazzy phrases. The B2, "Pleasure Law", is the deeper and more romantic cut of the record, adding some mellow chords in the equation that eventually get picked up by Detroitish wave of filtered epicness, finally unfolding into an uplifting piano solo outro. HB006 will take no prisoners.

MR G's forthcoming effort on the Phoenix G imprint is somewhat of a dark one. With crazy amounts of white noise processed as hats and some of the fattest kicks you'll ever hear, this is definitely one of those acey warehouse releases that will fit perfect in the modern trend of raw but touching house.

Yoruba Records is proud to welcome back Toto Chiavetta for the release of his debut album, 'Impermanence', split on vinyl format over two 12's. Hailing from Catania, Sicily, Toto is known for his deep, techy, and often moody dancefloor-ready jams. On 'Impermanence' (Part 2), 'Don't Give Hope Away' revisits Toto's focus on the peak hour dancefloor, a warm and thick bass ushers in a smooth and spacey vocal that is definitely one to get people moving. The title track of this release, 'Impermanence', keeps things chugging along with a classic deep house sound. The bassline commands you to move you your body as Tshaka Campbell's spoken word vocal will have you lost in the moment. We couldn't be more proud to offer this debut album, one that highlights Toto's growth as an artist while maintaining a strict focus on the dancefloor. A second release for London's Future Primitive Records brings to the fore a new hand-picked selection of hard to find - if not overlooked - tracks from Wolfgang Voigt, DJ Guy and Fernando Corona, aka Murcof. All of the music to feature on this four-track Recast EP was previously subject to tape or CD only release.
Lifted from his only album as Love Inc., Wolfgang Voigt's "Income" sits primo as the A1, holding firm 22 years after its original release. Predating Voigt's work as GAS, its caustic chords, shimmering melodies and chilled 90BPM vibe render it a production borne from the classic dub techno blueprint of the early-to-mid '90s. An early take on "slo-mo" techno.
The DAT tapes of DJ Guy have again been raided, with Future Primitive joining a select cast of followers to rejuvenate the Englishman's productions with an edit that appeared on his tape for Crisis Urbana. Both B-side tracks "Botas De Oro" and "Secondary Inspection Theme" come from Murcof's one-time Terrestre alias, a project from the early-2000s which fuses textural, slow-motion and minimal house sensibilities with Mexican Banda and NorteNo music - aka Nortec, a micro-sub-genre to come out of Tijuana. Loose percussion, swung drums and winding rhythms are made all the more esoteric through the subversively climactic nature of Terrestre's music.

Long before FatCat was the renowned independent label it is today, it was a record shop specialising primarily in Detroit and Chicago-based techno and house.

Run by Alex Knight and Dave Cawley (still at the helm of FatCat and FCR), plus Andy Martin and Lee InSync, the shop opened in Crawley during 1988, then moved to Covent Garden in 1990.

Jeff Mills, Andrew Weatherall, Richie Hawtin, DJ Rush, Steve Bicknell, Robert Hood, DJ Funk, DJ Dion and Slam were just a few keen shoppers who'd buy 12's whenever in town.

With central London then a thriving hub for both record stores and clubs, FatCat soon became an essential destination at the epicentre of underground dance music culture - particularly in establishing itself as a home for the first wave of UK electronica, supporting artists like Aphex Twin, Black Dog, B12 and Evolution.

The store closed in 1997, and the record label was born in its place, initially releasing electronic music by To Rococo Rot, Matmos, V/VVM, POLE, Insync vs. Mysteron, Gescom and more, before Alex and Dave's tastes broadened and moved away from tracks aimed at a club environment.

'When we started the label we didn't want to be pigeonholed into one style, sound or genre; it was this freedom to move freely that we sought', explains Dave Cawley. 'We spent so many years surrounded by dance music that we needed to explore other threads (whilst still maintaining an electronic and experimental element to much of FatCat's output over the years).'

Now in its 19th year FatCat has a firm ethos of championing new and undiscovered artists. With offshoot imprints 130701 Records, Split Series, Splinter Series and Palmist Records, the label has cultivated a diverse and rich catalogue of releases from talent including Max Richter, C Duncan, Sigur Ros, Ian William Craig, Animal Collective, Frightened Rabbit, Vashti Bunyan, Múm, The Twilight Sad, Honeyblood, Hauschka, Dustin O'Halloran and Nina Nastasia.

Now the FatCat records story has come full circle. With dates for 12's featuring Mall Grab, DJJ, Ali Berger, Grain, E&D, Lee Grainge and Steve Bicknell to be announced

'FCR is going to be our label releasing club records that we like. I listen to what we have coming up and although it's all over the shop - from the driving house of Cottam, to the two step vocal cuts of E&D - it's all FatCat . Both Alex and I are really excited to be finally releasing club 12's again. For now neither of us have any expectations - it'll be small vinyl runs, plus hopefully some parties to share the sounds we like,' states Cawley.

FCR's first release is the deep future classic 'I Can't Carry On' by Cottam, accompanied by a remix from Detroit's Todd Modes on the flip.

'I Can't Carry On', is a proper Chi-style-deep-house-classic-in-the-making, whose layers subtly build over 12 immersive minutes. With a raw driving bassline, deep strings and killer underground vocal sample, it stands up easily against early Ron Trent and Lil Louis favourites.

Cottam shot to notoriety in 2009 with three limited edition 12"s that blew up the underground deep house and nu-disco scenes with no advertising and no info - combining neo-soul, afrobeat and hip hop with slo-mo house grooves all three sold out in double quick time and ended up in many 'best of 2009' charts.

Since then, Cottam has concentrated on developing his own style of sub-aquatic acid house - remixes for Luv Jam on Phonica's label, Pattern Select on Delusions of Grandeur and Morning Factory on 20:20 Vision offshoot Fina have complemented original tracks on Quintessentials, Wolf Music, German undercover label Story and the summer anthem 'Sunrise Sunset'. The journey continues with his most accomplished tracks yet on the Deep Deep Down EP for Aus Music and a remix for Geoff Leopard on Endless Flight.

A burgeoning career behind the decks has seen Cottam DJ around the world from London & Ibiza super clubs to the dirtiest basements of Berlin and Manchester.

Acme 05 PART2 delivers again a strong EP full of good taste and expression to close this collaboration between Alex Font and his Romanian brothers. We can feel here the full spectrum of the Acme sound. As usually very limited exemplars, only vinyl release with 250 copies.

Does the world needs more acid Yes it does! the R-A-G trio aka Dutch producers Ma Spaventi, G-String & Aroy Dee deliver three raw acid-jams with Aroy on the couch working the mic. The lyrics of Dreadfully Nervous are based on a Edgar Allan Poe story.

'Dreadfully Nervous (Aryd's Acid Mix)' is a gurgling brew of squelchy acid with dark vocals and pinging cowbells pulling you in all directions. Coarse claps and ever more wild synths encourage you to cut loose and make for another timeless cut. 'Dreadfully Stoned' is more stripped back, with a rubbery arpeggiated synth the main hook over subtle, supple drums. Those dark spoken word vocals are back again and the whole thing is freaky and unsettling as a result. Last of all is the bright and glistening 'No Soul' with metal hits and claps and prickly acid all bursting out of dusty Chicago drums. It's raw and sure to fire the synapses just like R-A-G productions always do.

WTR101 will be a four-track various artist EP, featuring InHaus Wax Head Tijn, Shiftr and Variancé creators of the label Parliamnt, a collaboration with Octave from Romania and Italian house producer Katal.

Following his tribute of John Coltrane's Love Supreme track, French producer Guillaume Berroyer a.k.a Ark is back on his own imprint with two classy & minimal house cuts, serving up his typical deep and funky style. Including 2 strong & sophisticated reworks from the one and only Pit Spector, gare au Lyon ! Highly recommended.

Outcast Oddity is back with the most dancefloorfriendly record to date... I have a crush on ZK Bucket, these are not big news.

New Chicago Acid House from Mark Churcher, the creator of the 1990s label Emote (V-Neck & Send/Return) with a remix from the Gasman (Planet Mu)

This release - a collaboration between Ali X (Alphonse from Azari & III) and Mexico's Theus Mago - turns the heat up all the way to 'ON' and just leaves it there. The lyrical content of the title track would lead many to use descriptors like 'sexy,' 'sleazy,' and 'steamy like you wouldn't even believe,' and while the music also bears that out it's important to remember not to stigmatize something that almost everyone does at least a couple of times a week. 'Vision,' meanwhile, offers the perfect B-side accompaniment, a sci-fi techno workout where you don't even have to think about sex if you don't want to. The EP features dub versions of both tracks for more stripped-down club sets aimed at people who understandably have problems with the sound of the human voice. It also includes a remix by Curses, whom we recently 'bumped into' (he says 'cornered") in Berlin and asked if he'd provide one of his trademark eerie downtempo excursions. Long story short: he said 'yes.

FarFromNormal are happy to announce the sixth release coming from the artists known as Nice n Trick & Sacke, This is a beautify produced EP featuring only 2 single tracks. This release is a collection of big names of the electronic music history, some of them are legends: Pete Tong & John Monkman lead the list of big artists in this EP, they'd produced The Bumps a few months ago and now we can see the remixes of that track.
For the remix duties, Suara is proud to have on board one of the biggest names of electronic music movement with more than 20 million albums sold, 8 songs in the UK Singles Chart, masterpieces like Play or 18... The name of the remixer is Moby, whom did a delicate and sophisticated deep house track for his debut on Suara. Coyu is in the package too with a dancefloor, melodic, powerful interpretation of the original and Julien Jeweil did a really cool revision of the track in a techno way.

For our upcoming record on Light of Other Days, we reached out to friends & companions with the request to remix some of our past releases. Until now we were very cagey with remixes. In fact we only released one remix so far which was by HOVE himself on ETHIMM's very first release. So this time around, we thought it would be nice to widen our circle and reach out to some of our favorite producers out there and ask for a contribution.

First up we have Unknown Mobile. His EP «No Motion» on ASL Recordings was one of our favorite records of 2016 and so we decided to just straight up ask him for a remix. He came up with a beautiful rework of Gray Chalk's «Dense layers of suspended water» by adding some lush arpeggios and percussion while keeping the original mood very much alive.

Next we have Zurich's very own Phantom Island. Lexx and Kejeblos transformed «Romance» by HOVE from a blurry ambient track into a delightful balearic house tune with a beautifully nodding high-ceiling atmosphere.

Last year HOVE started working with Michal Turtle. What begun as a live collaboration turned into a very fruitful relationship between the two and HOVE even started to record guitar parts for Michal's new music. Therefore we thought it only right to add a Michal Turtle remix to the package. Michal came up with a very nice spaced out 9 minutes version of HOVE's «Journey to Arendal» adding some more bass, bells and lots of delays.

And finally, Zurich's underground wizards Jack Pattern released some of the most exciting swiss electronic music in recent years via their own imprint Lustpoderosa. They turned Ethimm's signature track 'Burning Down' into a wild and joyful ride adding acid bass-lines, outer-space sound-bleeps and wacky percussions to the originals' main theme.

'Bedrock Frequencies' curated by John Digweed features some of the Bedrock's head honcho's favourite artists, alongside exciting collaborations, label debuts, and some wonderful reinterpreted classics from the label's illustrious back catalogue.
Frequencies provides a snapshot of a perfect Bedrock party, in the form of yet another musical masterclass from the Bedrock boss as he takes the listener on an unrivalled, evolving journey from start to finish.The third & final sampler features music from Saints & Sinners, Guy Mantzur, Emerson, Digweed & Muir, Martin Eyerer & Patrick Chardronnet, Rob Hes & LAAT.

is one of the fastest rising young stars in the techno, house and indie dance scene in Brazil.
Causing much attention and hype with his recent EP release on DOC Records (Balinese Death - also featured in MAGNUM VOL 1) and having reach the

#1 spot at Hot Creations Top selling single, it is time to introduce his first album "The Old Door", (influenced by Marlin Stimming and Anders Trentemøller, two of his heroes).
A weird string sound marks the opening of "The OId Door".

By mixing old sounds with new ideas, while recording different instruments, the track shows HNQO's life and it features Urzula Amen in the vocals.

"The Death of the Elephant' is a soundtrack to remind us how destructive human kind has been to the nature. Using sounds of Pizzicato Violin, "40s Cartoon' continues to take us to a journey through the artist's imagination.


The album is filled with the Henrique life moments during the year it took to produce the album.

For an example in "Egyptian Lover" HNQO describes how nice it would have been to have a lover flying overnight.

On this track Russian singer Cotry interprets the lyrics.

"Fallen Angel" is a dramatic piece telling a story still about flying.

"If" is another collaboration with the amazing Urzula Amen.


As we get closer to the end, when its finally time, 'Light a Cigarette' reaches a melancholic state where all melodies were recorded with eyes shut and in complete darkness.

A spiritual moment that became Henrique's favourite track of this project.

The scratch of a match, the flame and then a foggy synth that releases all the feelings in sound waves.
The album cover was inspired on a door.

A door that HNQO was able to enter by playing certain keys on his synths, percussions and strings that allowed him to reach a organic level while making it all a bit more human in terms of groove construction.
A poem from Rai Knight was perfect fit to give the density for the digital bonus track.

Doorly's Reptile Dysfunction continues to prove itself to be one of the most vibrant and singular labels around, this time tapping up legendary producer Jaydee for its latest release.
Jaydee is a dance music pioneer. Best know for the seminal 'Plastic Dreams' - a track that, somewhat terrifyingly for those who remember it the first time around, will be celebrating its 25 th anniversary next year - he has continued to be a leading light in innovative house and techno productions, releasing on R&S and Ellum Audio in the last few years.
Here, he teams up with fellow dance music visionary Doorly for a searingly brilliant release on the latter's Reptile Dysfunction imprint. 'Acid Pressure EP' presents twooriginal cuts from Jaydee, with supporting remixed from Doorly and Trooko.
Kicking things off, 'Back Into Acid' opens with stunningly heartfelt pads before building to a killer acid line via shimmering percussion and erotically charged vocal snatches. 'Bring The Pressure' is more direct: a house roller softened by Basic Channel-esque chords and with added rhythm courtesy of the accompanying ragga chants.
On the remix front, Doorly flips 'Back Into Acid' into something far more menacing, with fierce synths stabs and rolling drums creating a head down stomper, while Trooko chops 'Back Into Pressure' into pieces, crafting a thumping main room house cut from the constituent parts, complete with an epic, piano-led breakdown.

Church launch new off shoot label 'Church Marble' with a four track EP from Australia's Mall Grab.

AMBIVALENT is the monicker of DJ and producer Kevin McHugh: originally from the US, he has since found a new home base in Berlin where he produces trim and powerful techno for kinetic crowds. Accordingly, Ambivalent releases have found their way to classic dance imprints such as Ovum or Cocoon Recordings, and it's with the latter that he recently found much acclaim for the - Daylights single, expanding a great run these past months with his La-4a analog project - now, he joins the Speicher ranks for SPEICHER 92: WHYOU is a rather muscular affair, boasting potent Moog riffs and a hungry TR 909. The flip side hosts a vigorous, hypnotic remix from Kompakt head MICHAEL MAYER - a personal hero of McHugh's going back at least 15 years. Double headliner wax, with only the wheat and none of the chaff.

The next release on our label comes from our dear friend Franco Cinelli from Argentina. Franco is one of the main artists and pioneers of electronic music in his country and also has been working as a DJ outside of Argentina for many years now. Besides the fact that he is a very talented and super tight DJ, Franco also has been releasing some impressive music over the past years. We have been following his productions for quite a while and therefor we are super happy to finally welcome him on board of our label with this truly great release.

London's DMK label provides a follow up to it's debut release from Kuba Sojka with another strong release from Stojche who delivers another quality EP of underground house/techno tracks on the Square Chapter EP.

Newcastle/London-based label Jaunt continues its fine run of form here courtesy of the Various Exploration EP. This four tracker see the imprint explore wider territories whilst still revising some of their previous work.
The 'Battle Rework' of Blackhall & Bookless' "Links" is an emotive drum workout which has even more depth than the track which it derives from, while Bleak's remix is notable for its many sonic soundscapes and unpredictable tendencies. On the flip, Chad delivers a suspense-filled ambient excursion via "Afters", before ASOK calls time on the release with a fine remix that veers close to the rave planes.

INC YOKOO REMIX

There's a certain ancient mystery to the melodies and feeling of Purple Hills. Gentle, secret, ethereal mood's that float invisibly in the spaces it's played in. Echoes of a familiar dream reverberate behind closed eyes that always remain slightly out of your grasp. Chriss Vogt's trip takes you away to that place. A place though that only he knew existed.. until now.
Yokoo continues to create his own unique vibe. He expressed his love for the track when All Day I Dream visited Morocco. With it's groovier approach, it slowly creeps into the consciousness. . A crisp drum groove and just a hint at the original's dominant melodies create a understated new version slightly left of centre.
Chriss teams up with Patrick Jeremic for Pour Éternel'. It's always summer somewhere and it's dreamy essence charms the listener here. Classy house music to take us through winter in the Northern hemisphere.

Dilated Pupils is a collective group of likeminded friends from the Netherlands each with their own influences and style, whom together have a distinct flavor in productionconsisting of analogue machines, tape noises, and raw one-take jam sessions. Each of them have their own solo productions as well as other collaborations, but when united as Dilated Pupils prefer to be known jointly as one entity with their own unique and distinguished sound.

Since 2014 the group has developed an interesting discography with releases on labels such as Fear of Flying, Sol Asylum, Mode of Expression, Tabla, Music is Art, Dorcas, Make Sense and Mayak.

Now, the group takes the next step and created their own playground ''DPBEATS''.
