Next up on the docket for Acid Camp Records is a record created by duo John Tejada and Justin Maxwell. The pair came together to make ACR III with two things in mind: Creating sounds that put a smile on their face while possessing as much character as possible.
The opening track, I've Got Acid (On My Brain)' is a mind-bending wavetable freakout, the likes of which Tejada and Maxwell have been striving to do for years. Using a vintage EMS vocoder to create an original vocal sample, this track is bright, playful, & vivacious. The Name Rolls In' is layered in an acid playground of sounds. A rhythmic track with a potent 303 bass line, prominent percussion, and that infamous vocoder back at it to create a distinctly groovy track. Field Notes', is a composition of celestial arrangements that is completely beatless. Carried through by tiers of sounds, filters, and noisier elements, this track lulls the listener into an alluring sonic dreamscape.

Spatial Cues is a series of split singles sounding out main(void)'s and Kon Janson's shared musical space. Operating out of Berlin and London, the two artists join forces to showcase their mutual vision of techno music.

2016 has been another year to remember for Swiss producer Andrea Oliva. With releases on labels like Desolat and Knee Deep In Sound, a Radio 1 Ibiza Essential Mix and worldwide club nights for ANTS on going throughout the year, the upward trajectory seems set to continue for this ever-evolving artist and here we see him joining the roster of the every impressive Cuttin' Headz imprint.
Andrea Oliva's original mix of 'Vermona' takes the lead and sees the swiss producer fusing menacing synth drones and rumbling low end hits with his signature undulant energetic drum style.
Steve Rachmad steps up next to rework 'Vermona' under his own name first of all, delivering a smoothly unfolding six and a half minutes of raw bass stabs and upfront percussion before the latter stages introduce the original's eerie synth lines.
Then to complete the package Rachmad turns in an inrerpretation as Sterac, delivering a more robust take on things via hypnotic rhythms, mind-bending loops and subtle evolvements.

Inga Mauer loves trains. "It's a fantastic chance to be nowhere", she says. From Cologne To Clone is, in many ways, a celebration of this nomadic sense of existence. "I don't need a home, only a studio", she confirms. Recorded in a period when Inga lived between Cologne and Rotterdam, home to the famed Clone Records shop (hence the title), the music on this EP is inspired both by the emptiness you suffer in futile non-places such as airports and the chasm you experiment in majestic scenarios as a Russian forest. Both by solitary travels and first encounters with machines you always wanted to touch like an 808. Six tracks constructed with razor-sharp drum-machines, penetrating synth sequences and estranged vocals. Raw sounds that capture the type of clairvoyance that one can only feel when in transit, far from the chains of our comfort zones. From Cologne To Clone is much more than a train journey. It's an introspective voyage to a beautifully warped soul. A reminder that, in fact, sometimes you only need your self-expression to feel at home.

The much lauded No.19 Music serves up another excellent all Canadian affair for its next EP:behind it is producer & label co-owner Nitin, with remixes from live specialist The Mole and labelboss Jonny White aka Art Department who serves up his own hypnotic take on things.No.19 Music has been going back to its roots recently, bringing to the fore a steady stream ofincredible underground music from Torontos sons & daughters. 2016 closed out with thestandout single, Full Circle from Art Department in collaboration with AD/D, seeing supportacross the board for the return of Jonny Whites much loved moniker. However it is the longstanding partnership of White & Nitin that is the true central pillar of the No.19 story, and its thelatter that offers up here what is almost certainly his most impressive work to date.Nitin has spent 20 years deeply immersed in music, working as a DJ, producer, label owner andpromoter. He has a singular style that is fresh and forward thinking, fusing the deeper elements ofhouse and techno. As a DJ he has traversed the globe, playing everywhere from fabric toPanorama Bar, Warung to Output (NYC).Kicking off this heavweight package is the original of Sunday Grey, a beautifully atmospherictrack where rolling drums have you swaying as gentle synths pan left and right. A backdrop ofsubtle vinyl crackle sounds like waves breaking and adds to the soothing effect whilst the crispperc and dangling hi hats suck you further into the mix. Some tender and heartfelt chords gentlyjoin the picture in the second half and mark this one out as truly beautiful.In the accomplished remix from leading producer and label boss Art Department, things are moredirect and energetic. The drums are big and rubbery, the hi hats rip up the groove and the synthsare rounded and bulbous. Its a masterfully menacing version with cosmic keys adding colour andfinishing it in style. Wagon Repair and Perlon man and master live technician The Mole then getsto work by layering in waify synths, hiccuping drums and plenty of rich textures and intricatedetails that make for an infectious micro-groove.Last of all, Nitins absorbing Black Sand Beach is a soft and lush deep house affair with resonanthits, pinging drums and droning pads that are propulsive yet perfectly smooth and serene.This is a compelling and highly effective EP that shows Nitin for the true production talent that heis and is another signifier of the excitement building around the No.19 label once again.

Hailing from Lisbon, Portugal Sabre are delivering their debut release from Clone Royal Oak with a fresh take on house and techno. If you're looking for effective formular club tracks, then please skip through! Four playful and emotive tracks without any of the modern club dogma's, however strongly rooted in the more then 30 year long tradition of our musical culture. From Model 500's Detroit techno to even further back to the likes of Gottsching's electronics and Alice Coltrane's spiritual jazz. Sabre is giving us some personal music created from a subjective perspective evoking different kind of moods and emotions with their wide palette of sounds, rhythms and melodies. Even though this might be ''psychology for dummies'' you probably can say there is a heavy influence from their Portuguese culture and their hometown Lisbon. Warm sounding tracks with a cool (sea) breeze and some of the outgoing, yet laidback southern european character. But sticking to the facts... there is some wonderful and special music on this record!

The Dance is the result of a long lasting musical love affair between Kontra-Musik's Ulf Eriksson and Sebastian Mullaert (aka Minilogue). As most love affairs, it started off as an exciting experiment: Ulf would play records and Sebastian would bring out his music gear and play a live set. As they were touring with this live concept, their sounds started to really integrate, and after one especially fine night at Trouw, Amsterdam, Ulf and Sebastian decided it was time to conceive The Dance. Once the decision was taken, everything else came naturally. The Dance was to be recorded live, in one take, at Kontra-Musik's home field Inkonst, Malmo, Sweden.

Following a trio of stunning remixes for Infinity Ink, Bob Moses and Michel De Hey in recent weeks, Joris Voorn returns home to GREEN with his second solo release of 2016 in the form of The Great Esquape.Early support from BBC1 Pete Tong, Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, and Kölsch amongst others.

Harking back to the sounds that first brought him to prominence, Esquape finds that perfect sweet spot between house and techno. Dreamy, delayed techy stabs slowly pull into focus over punchy kicks as shimmering hi-hat patterns rise into the mix, before a nagging resampled vocal hook and warm bass drop into play. Percussive fills and turbo-charged FX build the tension as we head into the break, the synth hook slowly developing as wide swathes of pads create atmospheric layers. It's a perfect end-of-summer track, and one whose blend of styles will make it work as well at a sun-drenched day party as it will in a peak-time arena.

On the flip, Orange is a deeper but equally stunning composition, centring around a sparkling synth arpeggio that filters up and down to provide moments of intensity and calm in equal measure. Deft percussion drives the track along as melancholic pads are drafted in atop a sumptuous, succinct bassline. It's an exercise in tension and restraint, the track threatening to swell to something grandiose before being sucked back into its plaintive core.

Following 2016's much-acclaimed solo album Mondo Alterado (HIPPIE 008CD/LP), original Pachanga Boy and Hippie Dance mentor Rebolledo returns to the limelight with the jam-packed Mondo Re-Alterado, tapping into his vast and varied network of friends and fellow soundsmiths. Artists such as Superpitcher, DJ Tennis, Maceo Plex, Red Axes, Fango, or Fantastic Twins deliver stunning takes on Rebolledo's unique signature sound, creating a full suite of exclusive remixes, cover versions, and reinterpretations. From the super-energetic club rumblings of Maceo Plex's "Discótico Pléxico" to DJ Tennis's dreamy "Pimiento Drive Version" of "A Numb Gas To The Future" or Fantastic Twins' party bomb "Fantastic Pow Pow", the journey through Mondo Re-Alterado is full of twists and turns -- a world where an epic, cinematic soundscape such as Superpicher's "Rainboy Super Space" sits comfortably alongside the claustrophobic, punishing banger that Fango sculpted from stand-out cut "Pow Pow". Kanja Records is sincerely honored to present its first vinyl release, based on a concept called Sunday Mornings. With this series of releases we will focus on that warm up, early morning, after party gems and slowly fading away from peak time music. Our philosophy behind this concept is that the focus goes to the tracks being timeless, and music that you can listen to in every time of day and night. Music that offers a vast variety, but in the end coming together in that sweet and warm morning glory.
Soul Brother by Duky was definitely our first pick for the first track on this release. Moving away from his darker side, he perfectly captured the new concept of our label, bringing us a soulful, a bit more housy track and surely exceeding all our expectations.
HO3 by Paul Mad perfectly sits beside our opening track, again confirming that the first side of our release will be soulful, a bit jazzy and with all around housy vibe. As big fans of Paul's music we are greatly excited to have him on board and completing the first side of our release.
Count On Me by Silat Beksi brings real Ukrainian quality to the table. Still housy but a bit more punch and faster track will be perfect for balance to a more soulful and laid back first side of our release.
Ol' D by Just_Me is the final tracks on our first vinyl release. Being a bit different from other tracks on our release gives it that special place, as it nicely rounds up the variety that has been presented on this release. 

After two tracks included on the first two compilations by Tiptop Audio Records (alongside names such as Kink, Blawan, Surgeon, Drumcell, Richard Devine, etc.), the label is proud to announce ANGLE's first EP 'Hold Your Breath'. It's the first vinyl EP released by the Californian label dedicated to sound research through the use of modular synthesizers. The EP includes 2 original tracks by ANGLE and 2 remixes realized by Luca Agnelli and Maxime Dangles. The title track moves along with the solid kick and sequencer pulse ANGLE is known for as ghostly female vocals flit in and out of the mix, perhaps even evoking shades of vintage 'Chris and Cosey'. 'Landing' opens with a more urgent rhythmic throb before a slightly sinister chord sequence arrives to provide a sense of both sonic relief and distress. Luca Agnelli remixes the title track down to a fairly minimal affair, that brings not only the beat but voice to the forefront - a very spare breakdown around the midpoint might make this the choice for the minimal DJ set. The first 'Hold Your Breath' remix by Maxime Dangles ('Repeat') highlights the track's rhythmic base by overlaying dense echoes and loops to a bass heavy underpinning. Dangles' other mix 'Diskoid' adds in the sequencer of the original as it builds and breaks to its own internal logic cycles. ANGLE's 'UK' rolls back the clock a few decades with classic hi-hats, claps and even a little zap or two, and then weaves thoroughly modern and somewhat dark sound design in between the spaces creating a hybrid style.

For the first release of the new year , Etruria Beat´s prodigy Dast is back with a four tracker ep .Pangea 2015 was crazy for the Italian producer : his Deep Down track ( also on Etruria Beat ) was all over the place , played by the main cats and licenced by Papa Sven himself for The Sound of The Fifteenth Season on his Cocoon imprint . This first encounter with the Franfurt label led to the release of Paraormal Effect which was also big success . But now is the time to come back home . This new record starts with the title track Pangea : we can directly recognize Dast signature of shuffle drums and catchy synth lines , dreamy pads and strong melodies . Next is Luca Agnelli ´s rework . Etruria label owner chose to keep most of the synthesizer parts and lay down a strong techno beat under them. A subtile mix of rough and soft . The B side start with Panthalassa that is synonym of 'Party", involving, melodic, in complete Dast style. The ep close with French Clio (already seen on Adam Beyer´s Drumcode) that is giving a relecture to Panthalassa with a massive kick and base in 'Techno Frequencies' style.

When titans collide! Moscow and FUSE bosses Archie Hamilton and Enzo Siragusa clash heads on MOSCOW020 bringing both of their influences to bear.
Ricochet is an unashamed terrace bomb which has been tried and tested by the boys all winter. Nothing complicated here, just big beats and tension-filled break that satisfies the dance-floor with the introduction of a familiar sounding old school hip-hop style lead. Dubby chords then switch the track up for a few bars before going back to business.
The flip opens with Transcend, an understated acid track perfect to keep things lively mid- set. The lead weaves it's way through the track whilst playing with a barely audible vocal
and plenty of groovy percussion.
The record closes with Dubinnovation - something quite different from either of the producers' usual styles. As the title suggests, the track takes influence from dub, using the sampled voice of Lee Scratch Perry. Rolling beats, rasping bass and mind warping effects make this the ultimate after party weapon.

Steadily refining his skills as a DJ and producer since the mid 00's, whilst amassing a back-catalogue with labels such as Optimo, Disco Halal and Futureboogie, his trajectory encompasses an eclectic range of influences, making him something of a sonic wild card. With shards of disco, techno and fuzzy electronica always present, it's seems fully logical that he can count the likes of Erol Alkan, Andrew Weatherall and DJ Harvey as fans. Now, making his debut on Moda Black, Kiwi delivers a surreal trip that balances raw energy with e-moment goosebumps, perfectly backed up by remixes from cult favourites Lord of the Isles and Willie Burns

Optimo Trax 30 celebrates a double 30 year anniversary: the original release date of Rejekto' and 30 years since Twitch started dj'ing. In 1987, Twitch, who wasn't known as Twitch yet, picked up a copy of Rejekto' at Glasgow's then numero uno import shop, 23rd Precinct. He was smitten.

Shortly after that he got his first ever dj gig and played Rejekto' in his first ever dj set. Nobody danced to it. He kept playing it and still nobody danced to it. Eventually he gave up playing it, but never stopped loving it.

A few years ago he felt the time was right to try playing it again, and this time, people danced to it. In fact, people loved it and would ask about it and shriek in delight when they heard it. There is often a lot of false nostalgia talked about in dance music and how it was better back in the day'. Well, in some ways it was but in many it wasn't, and 30 years later it feels as if perhaps ears are more open, or perhaps Rejekto' was just ahead of its time

From Germany, written and produced by Ra-Hen and Talla 2XLC, Robotiko Reject's Rejekto' was the inaugural release on the Techno Drome International label. With a powerful and seductive vocal sung in Romanian it has latterly been categorised as EBM/Techno but at the time didn't really fit into any convenient genre. Twitch called it electrobeat.

To celebrate this 30th release on Optimo Trax, the 12' comes in a
special sleeve designed by Katie Shambles and Andrew Beltran. As well as featuring the original classic Perfekto' and U.S. Dub' versions, this reissue features a slo-mo cover version by long-time Twitch friend and ally, the mysterious Frenchbloke who was the only other person he knew back then who also loved this wonderful record. Robotiko!

The London based DMK label returns after releases from Kuba Sojka and Stojche with the Deepblak Recordings label head honcho Aybee, with four tracks of deep house on the 'Syntax EP'.

"Life" is an important track for me. I'm obsessed with the past, with history and the way we apprehend life through the ages. I tried to express this deep feeling into music. So this track is about someone or something growing up. It's really as intense and emotional as life can be. ‚Here Today, Gone Tomorrow'!'

Isolation Diaries is Argentinian producer Alejandro Mosso's 2nd album. It comes more than ten years after his debut, Hiperborea in 2005. He says "I think the album is warm, emotive and nostalgic but not dark nor sad. It is percussive and melodic but not laid back and Balearic. It is tribal and organic but still very precise", as only electronic music can be. The grooves are strong and infectious and the sounds are rich and satisfying, resulting in music that sounds very organic and unpremeditated. The album is accompanied by a Burnt Freidman remix of the track Isolation Diaries, and a Ricardo Villalobos remix of Deardrum.

'No Order' is a 'deeply emotional and darkly atmospheric track'. Billboard Only three releases in and Kidnap Kid's Birds That Fly is proving to be one of the most prominent UK labels with knockout releases so far coming from Kidnap Kid himself and Bristolian Applebottom. Keeping the standard sky high, this next offering comes as an epic double hitter from US native Amtrac.
Caleb Cornett aka Amtrac has been pushing his creative limits as a producer, DJ, musician and vocalist since 2008. Through this release he skillfully creates feelings of elation and euphoria sharply contrasted with a moody and melancholic ambience. He explains how 'No Order' is like a movie score for the club, diving deeper with it's dark atmosphere. Big ups to Kidnap Kid. I love the direction he's taking with the label musically and aesthetically.' Raised in Kentucky but now based in LA, multi-talented artist Amtrac can electrify an audience with his moving live performance and his driving, funk-filled DJ sets. He recently released 'Those Days' featuring vocals from Stevie Wonder & Marvin Gaye on legendary UK label Toolroom Records followed by the 'Lost In Motion' EP, which really gave a snapshot of where he is at musically. Never content to settle, Amtrac's musical mood and influences change with each passing season. His ambition and curiosity keep him locked on the edge, always happy to experiment with new techniques and sounds.

Recorded during the coldest winter on record in Toronto, Bulkhead unveils their debut 12" via our humble imprint. Comprised of live takes assembled into crude arrangements, the Lunch Truck EP features the collision of artists Patrik Benjamin and Pop District to deliver hard-edged, machine-based dance music. A longer version of the record was released on cassette and quickly sold out by our friends in LA, Far Away, in 2016. This EP represents what we feel were the strongest moments from that cassette and constitute not just a dancefloor weapon, but also a listenable record from front to back (not that the cassette wasn't!).
