Introducing Carbo Flex, aka Graeme Evans, from Sunderland UK - spotted by CPU amongst the sea of music on Soundcloud. Standing firmly in the genre of IDM where many have tried but failed to capture the necessary elements. Carbo Flex's first album and vinyl E.P. Trifolium is bursting with beautiful synth melodies and challenging but on point percussion reminiscent of early Autechre, Jega and Mu-ziq. An alien, addictive and essential addition to any IDM aficionado's collection.

Damon Bell arrives on DBA with a debut three-track EP that delves deep into the musical influences that shape his sound. Best known for his output on fellow Oaklander Aybee's Deepblak Recordings - where he holds the title "Chief Connoisseur"- Bell has won ardent admirers both with his string of EPs and with last year's debut LP 'Blues For The Libyan', in addition to releases on R&S sub-label Meda Fury. The trio of tracks that make up the Ankh Boogie EP find Bell returning to the dynamic African rhythms of his most floor-friendly work, with live instrumentation layered over an electronic pulse. Having had his start as a teenager obsessing over Afro-Cuban jazz and jazz fusion, his long-standing devotion to learning and adapting the music's polyrhythmic sensibilities in his own music, coupled with the voyages of sound Deepblak is known for, result in a unique collage of sounds that at various moments can recall the likes of Joe Claussell, DJ Qu and Ron Trent. Where the title track plays with sun-kissed melodies and percussive elements, the B1, Aural Afrek, goes into darker techno territory, while B2 cut Time For Change is an organ-led house workout.

Jimmy Edgar's blossoming Ultramajic imprint gets off to a typically brazen start in 2014 with an EP of fiercely visceral club music from US born, Berlin-based producer Danny Daze.
A self-confessed lover of classic electro, the 3 tracks present contain the mechanical aesthetics and skewed sonics of the labels he holds close to heart, whilst packing an undeniable punch that will see these drawn for time and time again.
Released on 12' vinyl and digital, Daze is the first in a whole slew of acts to be welcomed onto the roster over the course of the year, and marks another exciting chapter for the burgeoning label.

We are happy to introduce you to the second EP from by DC Salas on Biologic Records, the label that he co-founded and manages with the French Producer Abstraxion. They celebrated their 10 year anniversary at the end of 2015 and continue to release a string of EPs to mark the occasion.
'When You Left' is an EP that overcomes sadness. Times can be rough, but it never lasts forever. This original material is complemented by two powerful remixes: One from the mysterious Cliff Lothar, who is supported by people as diverse as John Talabot, Delta Funktionen and Radiohead's Thom Yorke. The second remix is done by the Australian producer Inkswel (BBE).

Esteban Adame had released material on Planet E, Esteban partnered up with long time friend and colleague Santiago Salazar to start ICAN Productions. As a musician, Esteban is also a member of the Underground Resistance live act Galaxy to Galaxy. The opening track, 'Home Sick' is taken from Esteban's forthcoming album, while 'Search For Resolution' is exclusive to the EP. And with their deep techno grooves, heavy basslines and melodious synth work. Detroit's MGUN (who has collaberated and released on the label of Kyle Hall as well as on Third Ear) remixes the title track.

02AM is an 4 track EP by the young producer Hekkla from Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
The first track is 'Sunset Strip', a slowly build house track that moves like the last waves of heat at the end of a hot summers day, walking home feeling satisfied, all ready for the night. 'Saturday Morning Sentimentality' is a hard to pinpoint track that sounds like the bastard son of a trio between the melancholic side of Cyndi Lauper, Alphaville and the echoes of a cheesy saturday morning cartoon theme song from the late 80's. On the other side 'Memories of Tau Ceti' feels like tumbling into space with only the memories left of a good time on an alien world, accelerating faster and faster but still enjoying it, even though you know that the vacuum of space will eventually kill you. Finishing with the hardest track 'No Math', because, boys and girls, it's no math...

When it comes to influential dance records 'Dirty Talk' is right up there. Slant Magazine placed 'Dirty Talk' at Number 37 on its 100 Greatest Dance Songs and it sits happily in the top Pitchfork 500 of greatest tracks from Punk To Present. Creatively, 'Dirty Talk' has spread its inspirational tentacles through literally hundreds of records in the past 30 years. The most famous example being New Order's 'Blue Monday', which came out a year later in 1983. The grooves, arrangements and sounds have provided more than a few touchstones to house, electro pop and beyond.

The original single was created in Milan in 1982 by Italian producer Mario Boncaldo and American electro soul house master Tony Carrasco. It went on to become both a dancefloor and mainstream hit in the USA, Europe and all over the world. In 1982 there were 25 different pressings from record labels all over the world.

'Dirty Talk' has long been a favourite at Tirk Towers, who first released it on vinyl as part of Greg Wilson's 'Credit To The Edit 2' in 2008. Fast forward to 2014 and, as well as the original USA-European remix, the label present a fine selection of remixes.

Up first fellow Italian legend Danielle Baldeli joins with DJ Rocca for their own cosmic re-interpretation.

After kicking off 2016 with the massive Don't Need EP from Callahan featuring that remix from man of-the-moment Hodge, DEXT is back with another banger of an EP from fast rising UK producer Mella Dee. The man from Doncaster, UK has been creating a name for himself on the scene of late with releases on Redlight's Lobster Boy and Shy Fx's Digital Soundboy imprint, and his DEXT Debut certainly doesn't disappoint.Over the last year or so, he has been masterfully fusing 90's jungle influences with driving house & techno percussion and his EP for us is, we think, his strongest work to date. The thunderous Deep Soul opens things up with filtered amens, chopped-up vocals and Reece bass lines; the perfect take on the late 1993 UK sound, honed & updated for 2016. Universal is a straight up 4x4 DEXT jacker, with raw house, UKG and moodier elements blending together for maximum effect. Finally, Circular is the most heads down of the 3 originals - hypnotic synths and incessant drum patterns wind around each other to create a seriously classy UK techno track.
To round it all off we have a stunning rework of the title track from Endian (Non Plus, Birdie, Secretsundaze). Twisting up the original elements, this dark warehouse version has been crafted to perfection - if you liked Hodge's remix for us, you'll love this too!

With two record labels already under his belt, and a proven track record for creating exciting music projects, Jonny White aka Art Department is set to launch yet another vinyl only imprint called Sunday Money Music.
Sunday Money puts a fresh spin on all things after-hours. Inspired largely by the work of White's close friends, namely Rompecorazones label manager Morgan Hyslop who has been entrusted with the inaugural release, the imprint is designed to provide a new platform for artists to explore a deeper, hypnotic space without a care for clubland. From its esoteric ideas and A&R to unique and fantastical artwork, each Sunday Money Music release is quite simply a carefully crafted collectible.
Already featured on No.19 Music's latest V.A along side Guti, Morgan is set to release hervery first solo EP on Sunday Money named "The Queens". This first release boasts 4 cuts ofpure stripped back deepness including two versions of the aforementioned lead song. Andwhat better way to release this first EP then on April 18th during Record Store Day to celebrate the vinyl imprints launch!As of late, Hyslop - the Australian ex-pat based out of Bucharest has been honing her skillsin the studio, behind the decks and behind the scenes managing Guti's revered Jazz/electronica music label as somewhat of a renaissance woman of today's undergroundelectronic music scene. From performances at Beach House in Ibiza to Nordstern, Basel and Kristal Glam Club in Bucharest, Morgan has quickly made a name for herself as a purveyor of the purest of the pure minimal house. 2016 is set to be a monumental year for the young artist as she steps out of the shadows and graciously shares her knowledge and dedication to her craft with the world.

Mr. Beatnick returns to DBA after a two year hiatus following his Synthetes Trilogy series, with a new direction and a 4 track EP which represents his most floor-focussed work to date. Opening cut Stutter is an immaculately crafted deep techno bomb which features the trademark sound familiar to fans of the London producer's work, whilst title track Formed In The Stance and flip-side Obsidian Morning explore an eyes-down, moody, broken sound which will no doubt ring a bell for devotees of the seminal Co-Op nights.

Sao Paulo born Ney Faustini is an activist in the brazilian underground music scene. After releases on Foul & Sunk and Appian Sounds, he showcases a broad range of angles from which to approach deeper house music with 'Hot As Ice EP', on FoxTrax.

The opening 'Hot As Ice' sets the mood of the EP, bringing warm chords over a dubby atmosphere, a deep bassline and a stunning breakdown. The hi hats chug along while a filter gets tweaked on the floating reverbed pad. 'Deeper Illusions' is one from Ney Faustini's vaults. Smooth beats and boucing bass wrapped in a soft, vacant and delay-treated synths. 'Luandkin' is the smoother jam, keeping it deep, raw and hypnotic, with the floating filtered pads and vocal samples hovering.

For it's third release, Sorry For This Records welcomes Italian innovator Roberto Clementi to its stables, providing two lush cuts of deep techno and then invites Steve O'Sullivan to slow things down a little...

First up Clementi bring us Sedate Love, a throbbing club cruiser with a constantly evolving groove-box. Organically morphing pad play and analogue percussion punctuate the rhythm stylistically whilst Roberto underpins the entire track with a thunderous, grooving sub bass! Whereas Start Not Straight, Clementi's second offering is a thumping analogue techno behemoth, underlaid rhythmically by bubbling acidic synthesis and resonant pad stabs.

Finally 90s UK dub techno legend Steve O'Sullivan once again breaks out the tape echo and dons his Blue train alias for a special ultra minimalistic dub version of Start Not Straight keeping the beats slow and the subs pitched even lower! Steve slowly releases heady passages of spoken word whilst giving the feedback on his delay unit a real workout! Real after hours stuff!

''Various Elektronics'' is the new vinyl project by Marco Bailey's imprint, MB Elektronics, which will be collecting the very best techno gems of the latest digital releases and offering them a vinylistic life. On the first episode we showcase 4 massive weapons by Tom Hades, Mattew Jay, Filterheadz & Dema which have been rocking the dance-floors during the latest months and showing no will to stop.

First release from a new electronic label based in Warsaw. Funded by Rafal Grobel - DJ and promoter behind S1 Warsaw records and a host of Boiler Room events in Poland. Grobel encouraged legendary Polish hip-hop label and urban wear brand Prosto to join forces to promote local artists worldwide with their combined experience and taste. In direct translation "most" means "bridge" in Polish but also stands for Music Of Stories Told.

The Beginning compilation brings together artists from various genres. Album includes solo tracks from recognizable Polish producers like Eltron John, SLG, The Phantom aka ex-Ptaki, Klaves, Hatti Vatti and Matat Professionals among others. Two tracks that come out on album sampler 12" are spontanious collabos between Eltron John & SLG as Seltron 400 and The Phantom & Newborn Jr. aka Matat Professionals. The first duo has three EPs scheduled under the alias and the second just released an EP on Rhythm Section as Earth Trax & Newborn Jr.

The artists were invited for a session in a house in the woods which has been transformed into a temporary studio to share common vibe in music for the album. Prolific photo material from the event was included in the cover. Album comes out on vinyl as 12" sampler and 2LP gatefold, on CD in regular and limited packaging and in digital format.

On SA014 Xhin and Perc explore the savage side of the dance floor with four punishing tracks. The EP is sliced open by 'She's The Disease'. Xhin's A1 is saturated with details: strange metallic scrapes, squelching pads and beats that constantly push to the surface. A2 'Blinding Truth' is a master class in dense, industrial textures. The track swoons and swoops in and out of focus revealing Xhin at his shadowy finest. On the flip side of the wax Perc's 'Forge' is built around no-nonsense broken beats and layered with eerie, granulated sounds. The key to 'Forge' is counterbalance, Perc volleys sounds off one another, shifting the atmosphere between strictly industrial and sharply glacial reference points. The EP is closed as darkly as it began with 'Kater'. Atop stabbing beats Perc stacks strange reed tones, wisps of a conversation held far in the distance and split second samples that could have been prised from an opera. 'Kater' is a production that is brilliantly constructed: these sounds shouldn't necessarily work together, but their combination is brutally good. SA014 showcases two of Stroboscopic Artefacts' core artists using experimental sound design to fortify productions that are more that capable of destroying the dance floor. SA014 wa craftily mastered by Artefacts Mastering, Berlin.

The Mexican multi-genre record label CVMR returns in its wax infused form with its sophomore vinyl-only release following the sold out, Larry Heard remixed, Tijuana-made phenomena 'Lip Reading' by Soul of Hex with a newcomer artist. Fedde, hailing from the strictly-vinyl/house-head-friendly dance floors of Mexico City and currently living in Berlin, presents his debut record on the label, with his extended play format entitled _Supermoon EP_ accompanied by two remixes of the Konotop-ian genius of Ukraine's hardware experimentalist Vakula.
The EP kicks off with the space journey of digital M1 chords and feel good lead lines of the original mix _Supermoon_. Here, Fedde
portrays the simplicity of blending catchy 80s power-synth melodies with muffled disco-tinted basslines on top of a bed of raw drum machine debauchery. This track serves as an adequate and exhilerating opening for the rest of the release. The package is then followed by _Pad_, which at first glance seems like a more atmospheric and dubbed-out version of _Supermoon_, sharing the same lead line aesthetics, yet provides a more emotional twist through its complex harmony narrative driven by the protagonist element suggested by its title: dreamy, shimmering, and nostalgia-inducing pad work.Vakula steps in right after with his own interpretation of _Pad, _a remix which could be considered more of a cover or re-make of Fedde's star exploration journey. Dubby, texture-frenzied soundscapes, and reverberated percussions/arpeggios can be appreciated throughout the 8:00 + minute: a definite twist to the dance-floor oriented vibe created by the first two original mixes. The release is concluded with a revisitation to the classic forms of house music, a composition of diva-like vocals, digital pianos, 80s boogie style slap claps, and Moog-y baseline stabs: a definite afterparty floor knocker.

Fresh from his contribution to Mindblown Music's Wax Sampler 001 EP, Madrid's Cesar Martinez returns witrh four new tracks of dark percussive minimal and techno for the small hours.

IN THERAPY is an electronic music label based in Barcelona, founded and curated by Rainer. Music performance without the ego it´s as much about empathy as it is about entertainment. Use music to slip past the pain and gather insight into the workings of someone else's mind. This release on IN THERAPY represents the first full length Hi-Ryze recording since 1999. The Red Crossing EP consists of four tracks of extremely modern, off worldly, classic tracks.

Attributed with fueling Music Is Love's recent rich rein of form is Jamie Trench, who himself continues along a flourishing 2013 after a set of very impressive releases on his own imprint Roots For Bloom as well Tsuba Limited. Jamie's various musical loves- hip-hop, house and dusty boogie records- are manifest throughout his productions, a formula that evokes creatively crafted tracks to reflect the most prominent of his inspirations. His latest offering results in an EP that not only shows Jamie artist's signature for sophisticated and unmistakable house textures, but also highlights the significance and consistency of MIL.
Discerning hi-hats and handclaps pave out in Back Chat as floaty chimes are sprinkled around the build-up of the track. Things progress measurably with a pumping bassline that gets pulled sharply into focus, and with it seeps into cascading warped stabs swinging off over tight rhythms creating a solid groove augmented with subtle ticks and flicks.
Next; a perfectly weighted house roller. Something Sexy, evidence of just how well Jamie Trench knows how to programme a bassline. Flawless percussive rhythms, cresting grooves and tight drums flail beneath a rolling bassline, captivating vocal samples and thickly patterned pads that epitomize Jamie's fine house-grooving style.
Framed within a tougher context MIL debuted Adam Chappel maintains the essence of the original (Back Chat), as bass kicks play out over analogous twinkles and snapping snare drums, while vocal dashes and a rolling bassline add refinement to a robust heavy-style beat thats sure to go down with DJs and on dance-floors.
Closing proceedins is Autumn, led by an undulating bassline constructing imperishable movement and groove from supple hi-hats and warm keys adding a touch of melodic finesse. Skipping head-boppingly along the hypnotic beat builds in depth with the parts interspersed by sensual French female vocals dipping in and out to give a fresh closing track.
Back Chat's overall up-front, stripped-back house aesthetic falls synonymous with Music Is Love's ethos for creating truly contemporary pieces of engaging yet dance-floor inspired music. This release extends and cements Jamie as a reliable purveyor of groove-heavy house music, and though he's only been putting out records for a few years, he's already racked up a number of high-grade releases. Another potent exploration of house sounds from the Music Is Love crew.

The Untold Stories offer up their next double pack collection on their trademark transparent yellow and black vinyl. For Chapter V they welcome some new artists into the label with Jerome C, Jarz=Polors, Volta Cab, and MD Wallholz, all featuring for the first time. This combined with some superb works from Franco Cinelli and UNTLD regulars Ztrl, Ivan Lopez, Pheek, and Jonas Sella: makes for a memorable album of highly identifiable music, with varying vibes from the Street Knowledge track by Volta Cab to Ztrl's one perfect for summertime afterhours, altogether another very enjoyable collection.

Taken from Maps Of Hyperspace's "Superspace" album. "The Golden Energy" gets revamped for the dance floor courtesy Aural Imbalance. Sanderson Dear strips down the instrumentation for a minimal house vibe in his version, and Adriano Mirabile digs into Mikael's debut EP for his lush tech-house rework of "Dream Seeker".

"Times" it call, and brings it to the point. The young producers Maurits and Luca Barletta done a really good job. With their different styles they took you on a journey in time and space.

Luca Barletta made a Tune reduced on old school beats with some dub chords. That brings every house lover a smile in the face and make them dance until there is no tomorrow.

Maurits an awesome talented young producer made a modern deep techno track. With dry beats and huge basses. Straight forward through the night, that's the maxim of his sound.

We are very proud to welcome a true talent to Concealed Sounds, no other than: Michael Melchner, who has been on our radar for a long time.

Melchner's very well produced and engaging releases on label like Cargo, Love letters from Oslo, Moon Harbour and lately Paragram and DoEasy, has been played by some of the underground music scene's most respected DJ's, like for example ZIP from Perlon to know name one.

Michael Melchner has also landed himself a great reputation as a DJ, thru his sets at legendary clubs like, Panorama Bar and Robert Johnson as well as being a resident at Die Rakete in his home town, Nürnberg.

For his debut 12" on Concealed he delivers two deep and mystical tracks.

On the A side we find the 11 min minimalistic and dubby techno journey: "Delta Ditch".

The B side offers a slightly more upbeat House track, entitled: "Under the Veil. A hypnotic and mystic tune with layers of deep pads, a bubbling baseline and strong focused rhythm.

WOLF DEM is a live electronics duo from Philadelphia, conceived in the fall of 2012 by two longtime DJs who
bonded over similar musical backgrounds and a mutual desire to explore the bleeding edges of electronic music. Using both digital and analog tools and drawing on a highly diverse range of influences, WOLF DEM grew from its original concept- "what your dreams would sound like if you fell asleep in an old warehouse where someone had left a dancehall station playing on the radio"- into a focused aesthetic, at once chaotic and hypnotic, sitting at the intersection of Caribbean music, techno, noise, and field recordings. Past releases include tracks for compilations on New Low and Great Circles (GRCR-010), as well cassette releases for Vague Audio Tapes and End Result Productions - all Philly labels
