The third chapter of Bossa Nova's alt dance partnership with NYC 'creative support group. Sisterjam, features brand new heat via Slava (Software, Future Times), Max Mcferren (1080p, SciFi & Fantasy), Physical Therapy (Allergy Season), and M/M (1080p, Pacific Psychedelia Tapes).
Slava's 'Shante' originally mesmerized the Viber community during a supernatural live set at Aurora Halal's Mutual Dreaming series at 285 Kent in 2012 and has been sought out ever since.
After a year or so of friendly reminders, Slava submitted the track and reawakened the genesis of the Kent Ave warehouse scene; a period when Brooklyn's art kids, discovered, amongst other
things, dance music. The track is foggy, bicurious and fun, all signatures of Slava's hyper produced house sound with an added Chicago style organ solo to boot.
Max McFerren's track 'Is Sinful' follows with deep driving bass and tight rolling hi hats; a menacing dark number to keep locked in your 'heavy techno' rotation. For the past two years
McFerren has been burning up dance floors worldwide, from hosting Worldwave with Sisterjam at Bossa Nova to rocking Seva Granik and Ladyfag's Club†Shade†series. Physical Therapy's throwback rave burner 'Love Schranz' borders on the realm of digital hardcore. Creeping in as chaos distorted, the track levels out just before all memory of control is relinquished with overheated drums crushing a sinister vocal.
Last but not least, M/M's therapeutic and somber, 'Sphere 3', is a droning, twisting, melody that flaunts hazy synth chords and shakers programmed with care. His biweekly podcast/radio show, DEEP, on New Town Radio, has seen the likes of NYC's finest emerging producer and DJ talents along with M/M's own psychedelic mixes. 'Sphere 3' was part of a series of songs recorded inside of a suspended geodesic sphere in British Columbia in 2015. After discovering the track featured in a Boiler Room mix by 1080p's Richard McFarlane as unreleased, uncommitted material, it immediately filled the B2 slot of Volume 3, and thus concludes this chapter of the Bushwick is Melting series with a bang.

During the fall of 2015, GUF (Gävleborgs Ungdoms Folkband) released an album called "GUF4LIFE" where one of its songs got the DJ & Composer Slim Vic to react. The rain drenched sounds in the original composition worked as the fundament for two different musical journeys, signed by Slim Vic.
Part 1, is a varying composition that take the listener in and out of club music, ambient and the original tracks folk music.
Part 2, is a very dystopic world of sounds clearly on the border of art music.

Iggor Cavalera is best known for his part as the drummer of Brazilian super-group Sepultura. Having toured heavily around the globe, winning several 'Best Drummer' accolades and sold over 10 million records, Iggor's incredible ability to project emotion and evoke thought through his percussive talents is being given an outlet in the form of his exciting collaboration with his DJane wife Laima Leyton, MIXHELL.
Iggor and Laima took MixHell from the studio to the stage, adding uplifting elements of rock into electronica and giving it all an organic, intuitive and complimentary touch. Armed with an MPC Sampler, turntables, CDJ's, mixer, a full drum-setup and miscellaneous percussions their eclectic and energizing live stage performances are pure eye-candy with music created on the fly. MixHell do things in a big way and in doing so, are delivering a show that fully explores their vast background of musical influences.
The exercise of performing live tracks that were made to DJ comes to life even more on this acid house release with the collaboration of acclaimed producer GUI BORATTO.
When rock turned into bubble gum' music, when EDM sounded too shallow, Mixhell continued their research - reviving and recreating what they loved in each style. Let there be house, let there be techno, let there be rock, in the end what really matters is the MUSIC.
Italian melody makers Modular Project reveal their debut EP, a nature-dubbed and
organic five track effort merging tech house and electronica.
The endeavor kicks off with the nostalgy laden yet upbeat 'Leaf', whose steady
bassline gives leeway to a dreamy developing, synth lined harmony. Aptly entitled
'Into The Woods', the second track goes into deep territory via distorted synths, a
wave-reminiscent element that remains its central focus til the very last sequence.
The woodlandish journey fully unfolds at the third track, a contrastingly darker cut,
filled with modular piano bits completed by arpeggiated synths. The title track gets a
dubby makeover from Permanent Vacation's Benjamin Fröhlich who plays upon the
nostalgic synth line, turning it into a peak time drama by adding squirmish crowd
vocals. Konvex and The Shadow take on a less dramatic, but equally serious
approach, stripping off some synths but adding oscillating bleeps and lower pitched
drums for extra gravitas.

The second track Cremesino' enters the stage with a focus on solid groove-layered four to the floor percussion. - Subsole is a mind-catcher that drives forwards on a prominent kick and powerful bassline. The vocals snips, natural percussion interlocks with the hypnotic melodies for a surreal yet positive journey. This one is based on aural textures and tension and kicks into action with an unexpected combination of natural percussion feeding into a seriously heavy kind of techno.

In Collaboration with Aniara records Sankt Goran presents a old Swedish EP, only released as promo only in 1999. Slobban EP was made by a late 90s trio of Jens Johansson, Peter Gustafsson and Carl Magnus Ernstrm from Falun in the woods of Dalarna, two hours north of Stockholm. Almost classic Detroit Techno tracks with some jazzy influences from these guys, tweeking their Deep Bass Nine, TB-303, Korg DW8000 and Yamaha DX7 & DX10, sprinkling some samples on top with the Casio FZ-10M since 1994. The peepz of Aniara, aswell as their good friend Sankt Goran, were so impressed by this obscure record that they found it essential to get a small run back available for the many vinyl heads around. Vinyl only release of these great Swedish Techno tracks somehow in the vein of the breakthrough tracks of Aril Brikha. Nice one!

Liverpool artist Stu Robinson aka ASOK steps up to Creme Organization with a debut full length offering, A Mind Forever Voyaging, due out spring 2016. Featuring ten tracks of macho yet melodic, tender yet tense analogue house and techno, it is a continuation of the fine work the Scenery Records boss has done for labels like M>O>S and Mistress in the last few years. Something of a late starter, Robinson has fomented his own mystical, nostalgic, inventive analogue sound that makes you jack, as well as conjuring real emotions with his great knack for melody. This album was recorded live then edited down. "So if something doesn't sound good it either stays in or I re-record the whole thing," says Robinson, who used things like Maschine, tb303, analog RYTM, JX-8P, Microkorg, some plugins and "a shit load of old rave samples" to create his debut full length. All written at home over a period of a year or so, it proves the artist has plenty of ideas and more than enough skills to carry them off. All unified by a sense of emotion and kinked dance floor groove that has been picked up over the course of 25 years of living and breathing many different forms of dance music, it is an accomplished debut.

After opening up his heart with his wonderful solo debut album last spring, it was about time that Joel Alter's ''Heart'' gets a proper remix treatment. Armando Gallop, the legendary Chicago producer & DJ whose career was tragically cut short by his death in 1996 left behind a legendary reputation as one of the windy city's finest. Having released on seminal labels such as; Trax, Musique, Westbrook and his own Warehouse imprint, Armando brought his own rough hewn brand of machine Funk and acid to the table and the dance music world has been much better off for it since.

Dutch label Field is ready to complete its recent trilogy of album projects. Following double albums by L'estasi Dell'oro and D.A.R.F.D.H.S., now comes The Information Is Coming From The Server, a debut album from Kartei, aka Crysta Patterson and Voiski. Kartei have hooked up only once before, putting out a well received 12" on Wille Burns' W.T. Records back in 2011. That was Patterson's only project to date, but Voiski has been active for years, working under a number of aliases and releasing on labels like Field, L.I.E.S. and Syncrophone. The duo started their cyber technopop act in 2007, performing contextual actions on more alternative scenes. Their working ethos is based on collecting data from the internet to create new material. Data and songs are preserved into their server systematically. The album they serve up here is a condensed compilation of their archive, which can be described as clean and melodic, subtly uplifting and calls on classic techno as well as plenty of futuristic ideals. Grooves are quick and slick, synths are well crafted and emotive and everything is underpinned by a motor kick that powers the album along. Tracks like the bubbly 'Sunset' make for moments of calmer reflection between more trip out kickers like 'Kartei gets Fat'. New wave vocals and sombre chords, bleepy melodies and celestial pads also feature throughout this album, and all in all adds up to a terrifically journeying album of fresh electronic sounds.

Blue, that's the colour of the new and beautiful Oblack vinyl, and this is not just a coincidence. Los Pastores, the owners of this consolidated and growing label, are the ones in charge of the fourteenth release of one of the most significant underground music series in the world. 'Smoke Game EP' is no joke: It is Snna and Arauz at their best. It's not just a good kick and a rhythm, all the content is soaked in a tasty, concentrated balearic sauce.
The track that gives name to the EP is a good example of it. 'Smoke Game' stinks of darkness; A magnificient and adictive housey rhythm, almost toxic. It has a very well defined old school bassline. Special mention to the vocals in the background, giving an even bigger underground touch. The remix of the track comes signed by the french producer Djebali in a more clubby version. He offers a playful Tech-house landscape that points straight to the dance floor, but still respecting the original idea. Well played!
'What Happened' is the second track of the EP produced by Los Pastores in this good looking black and blue vinyl. It is here where the release goes deeper and deeper. It has their signature, nobody can doubt that. A dry kick is a good starter for a great combination of elements that keep coming step by step, until finally an expected heavy bassline comes in scene. It smells of Chicago and that's a good sign. Nobody cares if it rains or if it is sunny when you listen to these sounds. It has to be said, this is one of the best Oblack tracks in the history of the label. It is good evidence that Arauz and Snna are excitingly evolving to a better stage.
Finally, the remix of the North American Filsonik, adds some warmth and beauty to the EP. It demonstrates common sense in this pure clubby madness designed by the underground Oblack founders.
Well, it is time to dance over the black and blue rainbow... and watch out for the 'Smoke Game' video coming up soon, with each frame shot solely in Ibiza.

Powerdance is a collective formed by Luke Solomon and Nick Maurer formed as a reaction to bland soul less dance music that seems to infiltrating nightclubs the world over.
Luke and Nicks comradely stems back many many years to their association with the Classic Music Company - a label formed by Derrick Carter and Luke.

In addition to exclusive tracks by Matthias Tanzmann, Luna City Express, Dan Drastic, Ekkohaus, Martinez, Italoboyz, Andy Catana and Blind Minded, special guests like Reboot, Guido Schneider, Boris Werner and tINI & Marc Antona are also represented on this compilation. The list of artists clearly demonstrates that Moon Harbour has developed into a label with international scope and appeal. This sampler was compiled and mixed by Dan Drastic, who has been part of Moon Harbour's artist roster for more than seven years and recently released his "Noodle Stories EP" on our label. He regularlyhosts the Moon Harbour Nights at the Leipzig club Distillery and is one of the most active Moon Harbour deejays, together with Matthias Tanzmann and Luna City Express....

..The musical styles on "Moon Harbour Inhouse Vol. 4" range from the deep house of Luna City Express and Ekkohaus to the reduced groovy tech house á la tINI & Marc Antona, Andy Catana and Boris Werner and the floor fillers by Reboot and Dan Drastic. In this sense the selection of tracks mirrors the current breadth of styles represented by the label in its 12th year. Since the third Inhouse Compilation, a lot has happened at Moon Harbour. In addition to the releases of the albums "Hello From Planet Earth" by Luna City Express (2009) and "Paradigm Shift" by Martinez (2010), the tenth anniversary of the label was celebrated with gusto in 2010 complete with the compilation and club tour, "Ten Years Of Moon Harbour". The year 2010 also marked the birth of the monthly Moon Harbour Radio Show. Luna City Express and Dan Drastic have beentaking turns producing this show, which has already hadmore than 25 editions.

Featuring two tracks from the recent album cut loud on each side of a 12" and housed in a sleeve featuring photographs from Klaus Frahm. Sometimes it is hard for nonkeen to initially decide in what speed recorded tracks should be played back.Often it occurs that multiple speeds work for one and the same track. nonkeen highly invites the listener to setup the record player in any desired speed - it's up to you to decide which tempo works best for your ears and mind.

It came to us some time ago that what Kontra-Musik and Skudge stood for had a lot in common, which is the reason for this SKUM entry. Uniting to showcase the Swedish techno underground is an act of faith in these times of extreme self focus. We want to tell the world that we believe not only in ourselves but also in this new wave of local artists, a pledge for the future. In the immemorial words of ABBA, when all is said and done, you still get epic throbbing stabby techno from Skudge, deep hectic madness from MRSK, classy lush slow mo acid from TM404 and cavernous acid house from the Frak camp, a testimony to the scene we so believe in!
