Despite a manic summer of events for the label and its artists, Dynamic has still found time to cook up new EPs from the boss man Solomun, H.O.S.H., some ABBY Remixes and programme events for ADE. But now comes another fresh offering in the form of three tracks from Stimming & Johannes Brecht.

Stimming of course has been a key label player since day one, and Johannes Brecht is someone who has really shot to the top since 2013. He has released on Poker Flat, Sunday Music and Mule and now debuts here in fine style. The pair both serve up one solo track each and collaborate on another.

Brecht goes first with 'Breathe!', a stirring track that is full of glistening melody and richly musical chords. With plenty of bass driving it along down below, a slick percussion up the middle, it is a soaring track that really grabs your attention.

Stimming's solo cut is 'Quecksilber' atypical intricate affair full of great sound design and unusual textures. Bendy tones and deep drums make for a freaky vibe from the off and that remains throughout. Woody hits and hiccuping groves make this one of the most unique tracks you could wish to hear right now.

Lastly, the pair hook up for the excellent 'Stekker', a spine tingling affair that marries jangling chords with trumpets in the distance as well what sounds like little funky hand claps and finger clicks and more besides. The collab-track is based on elements of an improvised live set of the two that occurred at 2014's Stekker Festival, which is also where the EP title originates. It is a fantastic collage of sound that really makes you want to get loose and is another winning EP overall.

Liverpool based 'Scenery Records' has long championed artists and producers from in and around the city. Framing the labels sound with the talent on offer in Merseyside. The parent label has released EPs from the likes of John Heckle, Bantam Lions, Binny and label boss ASOK.
It is label boss, ASOK, who shares this first release with the London based stalwart Neville Watson, christening the introduction of Scenery White with aplomb and a sympathetic step away from the Scenery output to date.

The third Edible release comes from a producer we've admired for many, many years. A consistent and truly dependable master of the jackin' groove since the late 1990s, Brett Johnson has flexed his musical muscle for some of our favourite labels. Singles for Derrick Carter's Classic, DJ Sneak's Magnetic, Freerange and Visionquest have been record box staples for Eats Everything over the years, so it's a big fat hello and welcome to Brett on the 'Snack Attack' EP.

Lead cut, 'Jack', gets all playful, its nursery rhyme lyrical twist providing a most memorable dialogue over a killer house production. Jack by name, jack by nature, Brett throws all the right ingredients for a modern day 'boompety' vibe. And if the vocal is not quite your thing, a 'Dub Mix' does what it says on the tin, with added raw flavor!

'Noisy Neighbours' on the flip is another high-octane house barnstormer; a deft funky disco loop sits squarely in big room production, coming across like a classic Danny Tenaglia joint on +3, its wandering bassline and techno chops will no doubt blow a few brain cells when collided with a dark room and a strobelight!

Among Eduardo De La Calle's expansive output of some sixty releases over the past half decade and aside from releases on his own Analog Solutions imprint, and the like of Nonplus, Cadenza and Semetica - is a serie of four e.p. for Mental Groove, collected under the Analog Grooves banner. Started in 2012, it focuses on a more experimental and meditative approach to techno, one suffused with jazz sensibilities and cosmic mindset.' Brian Kolada, Resident Advisor (full article) This album is, in its limited to 150 6x12 box set form, an expanded edition of the four12 released since 2012 on Mental Groove Records (as Analog Grooves) that when completed would propose the listener a real complete journey album, in opposition to a collection of disparate dance tunes. Included here is a rare track (SP000) that was then pressed on 50 copies, an exclusive (The Window Rocket) and a nearly 20 minutes live space jam inspired by KLF classic album Chill Out' and Galaxy 2 Galaxy seminal Metamosphosis (The Creation of I.S.F. Unit ZC-121861 Stardate: 05 30 93)". The extras end with 10 loops inspired by the solar system.

With six years of covetable releases under its belt it's safe to say that Erol Alkan's flourishing Phantasy label is well on its way to establishing itself as the UK's preeminent purveyor of independent music. 2013 has been a particularly golden year with Daniel Avery's critically acclaimed debut LP dropping in early October, São Paulo wunderkind Babe, Terror's BTU project with Man Make Music's 'U', recent collaborations with Emperor Machine's Andy Meecham as Future Four and disco mavericks In Flagranti and a slice of perfect summer pop from Nadia Ksaiba, not to mention Connan Mockasin's upcoming sophomore opus Caramel and the debut release from mysterious new signing Ghost Culture.

With such a packed release schedule and a DJ career that takes him all over the globe it's a wonder that Alkan finds any time to make music himself, but find time he did, as next month sees him offer up his first ever solo release - that's right, first ever! - following various collaborations, a regular residency on BBC 6Music (the first show in the new run airs on November 15th), two much-loved Bugged Out Mix compilations, production credits including Late Of The Pier and Kindness and recent remixes for the likes of Metronomy, Tame Impala and Justice.

Erol is one of the most sonically diverse selectors in the game - this is the man who regularly played Trash and Bugged Out within the same week - and his inimitable brand of mutant techno electro disco and the spirit of curation fostered in his genre spanning DJ sets is one of the reasons he has enjoyed such a long and successful career. It's this spirit that more than shines through in his forthcoming 'Illumination' EP, set for release on December 2nd through Phantasy.

The 3 track release opens with 'A Hold On Love', a subtly building arms aloft slice of shimmering house that is as at home in Panorama Bar as they open the shutters as it is at your next summer festival. 'Bang' recalls the style and power of one of Erol's favourite DJs Ron Hardy, a stripped out acid and drum machine workout coming to a sweaty basement rave near you. The EP draws to a close with 'Check Out Your Mind' which begins with chopped percussion before dissolving into a modern day acid psych freak out; calling to mind Erol's love of psychedelia and his Beyond The Wizards Sleeve project.

Catch Erol Alkan headlining Bugged Out at XOYO on November 2nd with Ewan Pearson, Trevor Jackson and more, and playing Red Bull Revolutions in Sound on the London Eye on November 14th. Erol can also be found at Manchester's Warehouse Project on November 8th for a Phantasy special alongside label alumni Daniel Avery, Nadia Ksaiba, Connan Mockasin and Ghost Culture, and again on December 6th with The Chemical Brothers.

The argentinian Gonzalo MD has just recently created a lot of buzz around his person with releases on the french
label Knotweed Records.
You can clearly hear that he has got his very own style of techno, his synths are very extensive and hypnotic
and his kickdrums are very sub-heavy.
The original of Northern Lights is the perfect example for those extensive synths.
Strck is has given his Remix his very own touch by using his typical loopy and ecstatic sounds.
Lee Holman converted the record into something faster and more hard hitting using the synths and highlighted bleeps.

2020Vision celebrates it's 20th anniversary in style this year. As ever, the UK label will do things differently - no dwelling on times past and no back catalogue rehash. Instead, 2020Vision will release 'Content', a compilation mixed by Ralph Lawson featuring 20 exclusive new original tracks and remixes from a dizzying array of arch collaborators. This album will be augmented by a series of parties across the planet including Fabric, Sonar, Hideout, Ibiza, Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, Milan, Munich, Zurich, Glasgow, Leeds and beyond.

You can tell a lot about a label by the friends it keeps, especially when those friends include Matthew Herbert, Eats Everything, Simian Mobile Disco, Groove Armada, Cassy, Matthias Tanzmann, Psychemagik, Dense & Pika, Tom Trago, Huxley, Waze & Odyssey, Ejeca, PBR Streetgang, Doc Daneeka and Citizen among them. A formidable assembly of the world's top electronic music talent by anyone's measure, but put in the context of one album, it makes 'Content' a strong contender for compilation of the year from the tracklist alone.

Love keeping playlists of mobilee lovers alive and up-to-date. Now back in full swing with an all-out release that can only be described as a musical piñata bursting with eclectic beats, mobilee has their house specialist on the case. Whether it is deep, tech, percussive, disco, Chicago or minimal, Ray Okpara doesn't leave any sub-genre out of the pool. In a lucid representation of himself, Ray delivers an 11-piece bundle of soul lifting, mind and body empowering dance tracks under the core title, 'Good Times'. Baring a positive outlook on life, Ray's music reflects the very essence of his free-spirited personality. From Mannheim by way of Nigeria, he was fortunate to experience life through multi-cultural eyes. With a passion for music, Ray is notorious for incorporating many influential African grooves and hip-hop beats into modern German techno music, making him a major contributor in reviving Mannheim's electronic music scene. Together with Johnny D and later Nick Curly, Ray put the infamous RAJO parties at The Loft on the map. Bouncing back and fourth from Mannheim to Berlin, Ray finally unpacked his suitcase in Berlin in 2009 - a difficult decision that has shown to be most rewarding in the past two years with four EP releases and four mixes. His recent appearance in Groove Magazine's Top 50 Singles at 9th place for his remix of Kindimmer's 'Jack It' was just another confirmation of things moving forward. Over time spent in Mannheim, Miami and Berlin, Ray dedicated an entire summer to producing his debut album. Inspired by those close to him, the album started with the idea that friends visiting his home in Berlin, as well as friends abroad at the Miami Music Conference, would have a role in helping create the album by contributing vocals and other ideas to four of the tracks. The new Desolat X-Sampler comes as a 2x12 package with eight tracks, and includes a download code that gives the buyer those eight tracks in digital format, plus another six digital tracks. In keeping with tradition it features a combination of artists who have already graced Desolat before and artists who make their debut on the label. 2015's sampler sees Alexandar Ivkovic, Alli Borem, Cuartero, Sable Sheep, Yaya, Sante, Arado and Bimas all return and they are joined by an array of intriguing newcomers to the label including Pawn Shop People, Santos, Lewis Boardman, Chuckie, Stop File, Jon Rundell, and Lollino. The digital only bundle follows in similarly varied and interesting fashion with Stop File's pulsating 'Panic', the peak time power of Jon Rundell's 'Freak Out' and Cuartero's 'Silicone', Sable Sheep's nervy percussion on 'Paranoidal', the tropical 'Tripping' by Lollino to the hedonism of Arado & Bimas' 'My Art and My Soul'. Our next big release at Bad Barbie, going out on digital and 12 inch, comes by the hand of Aldo Cadiz itself, but this time partnered with Kareem Cali. These two made a fantastic three track ep called Monita EP. The first track Monita presents a solid base created with a classic tech style and an extremely groovy bass line. Full of small arrangements and a crazy vocal line, this tracks its perfect for any club dj. The second track Bonita, is the one with the more old school vibe, from the bass line to the main acid synth, which goes evolving softly with a filter during the track to generate the needed tension. All this with a strong tech groove to follow the step of this solid ambience created by the acid synths. The last track Moni, also has many techno and acid elements presents. We can perceive the techno soul mainly on the arrangement of the hi-hats and bass line, but the acid synth in triplet at the backend is what generates the crazy vibe and almost hypnotic feeling during the track, playing around with the volume of it. Definitely a fantastic release to add to any collection.

Bet.e & Stef took the country by storm over a decade ago with their pop meets jazz, bossa-nova and latin stylings. Remarkably, they earned a Gold record in Canada with their self-released first album, "Jazz Bossa Nova". A deal with Japan's Toshiba-EMI soon followed, along with interest from every major record label in Canada. This JUNO-nominated duo from Montréal, Québec chose to partner with Universal Music Canada, achieving Platinum with their second album, "Day By Day.'' Both milestones were even more remarkable given their global, multilingual sound was a far cry from the pop music du jour. Numerous sold-out performances at the Montreal International Jazz Festival earned them critical acclaim that took them beyond borders. Radio success in Québec, across Canada, and in Japan followed with their hit singles ''Day By Day'' and ''It's All Right'' spending weeks at the top of the charts. In 2003, Bet.e and Stef began exploring solo careers, respectively releasing and ''In From the Cold.''

Nicola Conte brings the track - Triste' with his hypnotical, yet mystical deep approach to the dancefloors. His remix was already fascinating the likes of Matt Tolfrey, Mark Farina, Kruse & Nuernberg, DJ Spinna, Simbad and more!

Michal DJ Schwa is the man behind Beef records and electronic duo Shades Of Gray. Their debut album 'Soul Machine' was critically acclaimed by the press receiving glowing reviews in DJ Mag and DeBug to name a few. Tracks from the album have been charted and played by some of the key players in the scene and also licensed for OM records, Defected and Clubstar compilations.

Cameron Cooper is a young producer from Sydney, Australia with a strong passion for Deep House and Dance music across the board. Breaking into the scene early 2013, having his remix selected by Joyce Muniz (BRAZIL, Exploited) on JackMode, a label with thousands of followers. The Australian producer puts all his thoughts on creating a deep and harmonic texture to all his tracks, with releases on Compost Black, Trojan House Records, Mystery Train, Something Different, PLAYNOW and many more.. For this producer, the future looks bright!

Bouq.sub is back again and happy about the discovery of great german newcomers unNamebar. With their self proclaimed 'Tech-Nu-Prog' style the duo obviously benefits from their background as trained jazz musician as well as djs. unNamebar means nothing else than "biological produced music from guaranteed unconventional seeding.

Auf der mittlerweile zehnten Vinyl-Release des münchener Labels U6-Schallplatten treffen mit "von&zu", vielen auch bekannt als "Pierce", und "Gregor Weinberg" zwei äußerst talentierte Vertreter aus Nordrhein-Westfalen's Musikliga aufeinander. "von&zu" ( aka Pierce) der so ziemlich auf allen namhaften Plattformen (BLUFIN / GET PHYSICAL /STIL VOR TALENT / SUARA / NOIR MUSIC uvm.)veröffentlicht hat, eröffnet die Scheibe mit seinem Stück "n´New life". Der Track treibt schön perkussiv nach vorne und findet seinen Höhepunkt im wunderbaren Zusammenspiel aus Vocal und Gitarre. Ein track mit sehr viel Seele und Energie. Weinberg, der mit " Stück von Berlin" (U6SP004) auf sich aufmerksam machte steuert mit "leider lieber ohne" eine gefühlvoll, verspielte Nummer bei, die grossen Hörgenuss verspricht, dennoch nach vorne geht und durchaus mehr als tanzbar ist. U6010 die als einseitige Vinyl erscheinen wird ist eine sehr ausgewogene Platte die Kenner begeistern wird...

After the debut release on Do Not Sleep become a sure fire club hit, the Ibiza party turned much loved house and tech label now has another weapon up its sleeve.
The next release is from Perel, is titled Charles Manson and features another standout remix from resident Darius Syrossian.
Perel is a Berlin based DJ, producer and vocalist who is quickly rising through the ranks.
She has released both originals and remixes on O*RS before now, and has a robust house and techno infused sound that simply makes you want to dance. As a DJ she is a regular at cool spots like Farbfernseher and impresses here with what she serves up for Do Not Sleep.
The original is a chunky, no-nonsense house track with bouncy bass, subtle vocals and the sort of futuristic and soulful pads that help make it really stand out.
It's a slick, well produced sound that is sure to make it into many top record bags in the coming weeks and months.
The remix from Darius is a subtle one that layers in some trance inducing vocals and extra breakdowns so as to really highlight the powerful effect of the drums each and every time they drop.
It's also got a mean acid line in the second half to really send crowds wild and closes out another on point release from this already essential label...

After Moods", an album full of fantastic and contemporary designs of electronic music which constantly flirted with modern classic designs Hildenbeutel releases the remix-EP, all produced by himself like he often used to do in former days. The result is a package of five remixes (four on vinyl, the download version with a bonusstrack). You can hear the neo trance-influences of artists such as Kink or others as well as the fine feel for the understanding of peaks and arrangements without gimmicky showing off. At the latest with the driving and upbuilding groove of Lost - Retouched' the shaman in the desert peeps out from behind the cactus and offers psychedlische gifts. Henceforward it is: Everybody for himself and all together.

Off the back of the success of Auden's first Hotflush EP, the enigmatic alias returns to Scuba's label with another hard hitting four-tracker, 'Wall To Wall'.

'Lock In' throws you in headfirst - fast-paced drum loops layered with slices of jarring techno and a driving bassline that would be welcomed on the darkest dancefloors. 'Utopian', initially a more languid cut, juxtaposes an almost cerebral landscape with hard hitting percussion, only allowing the listener a short breather before hurtling back in with 'Perished''s swirling synths and trippy electronic jabs. Ending on Xirox, Auden crafts a slightly more down-tempo cut, boasting a catchy groove that only gets better with each listen.

Whoever Auden may or may not be, one thing is for certain - he's carving his place deep in techno's panorama.

Collecting orders for repress

Bossmusik follows up the first release by Dorisburg with another two-tracked EP by the Swedish house master. The A side is a steady drum stomping DJ tool with rolling snares, ecstatic noise bursts, eerie feedback drones and a huge potential for dancefloor moments. The B side takes on a more adventurous journey. With spacewalking percussion, vast floating pads and an accelerating bassline, 'Eller' fights gravity with a truly uplifting force.

The visual identity is made accordingly with the images engraved on the Voyager Golden Disc that was included aboard both Voyager spacecraft launched in 1997 and intended for any intelligent extraterrestrial life form, or the future humans. The labels are made from selected images of scientific interest out of the 116 contained onto this record.

After stumbling across Good Guy Mikesh and making an edit of his track 'Freddy' - Maceo Plex delved deeper into the back catalogue and decided he was bona fide Ellum material... One demo request later and the 'From Another World EP' was born. A trio of original tracks, one of which features production partner Filburt, it's dark, beautiful and warm music for cold winter nights. A-side and Maceo Plex edit of 'A Place Of Love feat. Filburt' is a disco-laced chugger with deep bass and epic strings, 'On Patrol' is a slow building languorous affair with flickering machine fuzz while 'Holy Day' brings some big drums into play with a ghostly soundbed of chimes and FX.

Good Guy Mikesh is a DJ and live artist from Leipzig, Germany who is often found collaborating with fellow German producer Filburt. Fusing lush, disco-laced house with an accessible heartbeat, the artist has appeared on prestigious labels such as Permanent Vacation, Mirau and Liebe*Detail. 'From Another World EP' is his first solo works in 4 years.

Good Guy Mikesh is also co-founder of the label Riotvan and frontman of the band Here Is Why. They released their debut album 'HRSY' in 2012 and did a collaborative EP with Adam Port (Keinemusik/Berlin) in May 2013. This summer Mikesh presented his first solo live show at the legendary German club Robert Johnson.

Also part of the duo Good Guy Mikesh & FILBURT, the pair have recently remixed The Blaxploited Orchestra on Compost as well as 'Private Drive' by Few Nolder and Kris Menace feat. Robert Owens. Original productions came in 2012 on Permanent Vacation and Riotvan. Filburt is also a solo producer in his own right and releases music under the alias Smooth Pilots. Both artists intend to concentrate on solo productions for the coming year.

Over on the B-side, good friend of Jamie, Lee and Richy, Mark Jenkyns is next to make his imprint on the unstoppable label. The northerner now based in London offers a delicious deep slice of dance floor magic with a raw edge. The infectious vocal and enchanting key patterns make this summer bomb one you won't forget. Diynamic favourites Hunter/Game round off this essential package with 'Don't Feel The Presence'. Packed with groove, fluid melodies and soaring synths you're taken on an elevating electronic ride with dreamy vocals to add that perfect touch. Infamous for his part in Glasgow's DJ duo Optimo and the production partnership Naum Gabo (Speicher / Kompakt Extra), J.G. Wilkes is an esteemed music producer with a catalogue that has been building since the turn of the century. The 'Jaxon' EP is J.G. Wilkes' first widely available solo 12' release containing four exquisite cuts exploring the ethereal boundaries of electronica.

Taken from a limited edition mini album box set entitled 'German Pizza Party' (VF111), J.G. Wilkes' 'Jaxon' is the only track from that collection aimed anywhere near a dancefloor, in which rich and potent rhythms collide with foreboding frequencies. Cologne's Barnt isn't afraid to let the elegance of space and chaos into his heartfelt rework, solidly cementing the Koln-Glasgow freundschaft. The EP features two further productions from Wilkes; the melancholic, beatless and occasionally ruthless 'Bathing Beauty' in its original form and 'Useful Tool', given a turbulent rework by Naum Gabo.

For their second launch a-records turns to Sandburgen aka Ralf Noetzel.
With Sandorama he delivers a varied 4-tracker which dances around minimal techno yet could find itself dropped all over.

A1 - Quartz: atmospheric minimal trance, clattering beats, insistent bass and a mesmeric synth harmony for early morning dancefloors.
A2 - Sandorama: the title track breaks in with a stumbling bassline which funks its way across stomping minimal beats and fluttering white noise percussion.
B1 - Sunshine: the non four to the floor track of the EP. Hypnotic staccato synths culminate in an atmospheric sound spectacle, soundtrack to gamma radiation.
B2 - Minced Meat: inspired by 80s synth-pop anthems and trance fundamentals. The track starts off with dry bass and drum sounds before being carried away by swelling synth arpeggios.


Sandorama continues the a-records saga with the same philosophy yet an alternative form. Where Sumad rocked with brilliant dryness, Sandburgen wallows in treacle-laced melodies without lapsing into mainstream

'Sandorama'schließt nahtlos an den Grundgedanken der hoffnungsvoll beginnenden a-records Serie an. Wo Sumad genial trocken rockte, wird hier an schmalziger Melodik nicht gegeizt, ohne in Mainstream-Gedudel zu verfallen.

Rising from humble beginnings like Icarus heading towards the skies, Singularity plots its course for the stratosphere as it heads ever onwards and upwards...but unlike Icarus this is a tempered and restrained ascent not an easy task to pull off but one that makes the impact so much stronger for it's subtle, ever evolving simplicity.

With a melody that comes on like a half-remembered memory and lingers long after the sound itself fades away, Singularity stays with you, slowly and carefully weaving its way around you while its drums beat a steady, forceful pulse and its percussion jumps in and out like Billy Pilgrim skipping thru time. The combined effect is something much more than the sum of its parts. Somehow this simple techno tune creates an entire world of its own and asks you to inhabit it for a while, losing yourself in the process..

On the flip side, Monoloc exercises an equal and proportional restraint in his take on things. Like a voice emerging from a faded dream, the melody peeks out behind a curtain of reverb and industrial drums compellingly foreshadowing its full potential. Growing from there, the atmosphere slowly engulfs the listener until finally the slow build up reaches its full force providing a fantastic re-imagining of the original with an almost romantic yet no less powerful conclusion.

Ellum drop another killer release with a WhoMadeWho remix EP of 'Heads Above' and 'Hiding In Darkness', both tracks feature on WhoMadeWho's latest album 'Dreams'. Maceo Plex works his magic on 'Head's Above', whilst Mario Basanov (Ten Walls) and Kyson remix 'Hiding in Darkness'

'Dreams' is WhoMadeWho's fifth studio album and features the two original versions of these tracks. Maceo Plex has always been a fan of the Danish 3 piece founded in 2003, and jumped at the chance to remix 'Heads Above' and release it on Ellum. Along with Maceo Plex's monumental, barnstorming remix and dirt dub, are featured Mario Basanov, of Ten Walls fame, hypnotically infectious remix and Kyson, atmospherically charged remake of 'Hiding In Darkness'.

ELLEN ALLIEN put her particularly multifaceted side on display once again in mid-summer 2014: Her last EP "Freak" contained three tracks with three moving emotional states, each spreading uniquely positive vibes. Especially the track "Freak The Night" - with its warm bass, 303 acid dabs, Roland piano sounds and Ellen Allien sending out rave signals with her insistent vocals - turned out to be a hit. Now the Berlin artist has invited AUX 88, RADIO SLAVE and EJECA to remix the playfully creative track, alongside another track from the last EP, "Butterfly".

Coming out of Amsterdam via London, Breach's Naked Naked imprint has been a platform from the globally lauded producer can launch club-ready material both from himself and his peers. Having previously released records from Maison Sky, J.Tijn and Viers - the next in an ever-reliable series welcomes back Church and 2020 Midnight Visions affiliate Lorca for his third outing on the label. Hailing from Brighton, Lorca has garnered a following behind several extolled 12s showcasing his intricate and spectral brand of UK Electronic music. His latest offering expands on this with three moody cuts that meld eyesdown melodies with sharp, lively drum structures. 'Creta Kano' kicks things off with ticking percussion scurrying over a rubbery, tape driven thud. Deft dynamics build depth in the mix as detuned and delayed synth lines interweave to stunning effect. 'Malta Kano' then sets more textures bubbling behind bright drums and powerful, melodic synth leads. The Alt version of 'Creta Kano' then brings things to a dark and purposeful close. Field recordings gently bleed in and out of focus while more glowing synthesis occupies the foreground. A warped sequence circles in towards the close bringing another insight into the chops of one of the UK's most dynamic and exciting young producers to a close".

After a busy year that saw releases on Funkineven's Apron and Classic, Seven Davis Jr returns to London's Ninja Tune with a new LP, his second to date and a follow-up to this year's Wild Hearts EP for the same label. Universes is a stunning body of music comprised of fifteen tracks, all of which showcase Seven's many different styles and abilities behind the mixing desk...after all, it is called Universes! Tooth Faeries brings together Mark Brydon and Parrot.

Deeply melodic yet also crisp and compelling, The Sound layers Carmen Squire's lush vocal over a martial drum beat, unleashing a dose of deep Sheffield bass just when it matters most.

Mark Brydon established the groundbreaking FON studio and label in Sheffield, and went on to head up the FON Force production team. He then delivered a string of global hits with Roisin Murphy as Moloko.

Parrot was one of the pioneer DJs who first brought House music to the UK, playing at the legendary Jive Turkey parties alongside Shabby Doll labelmate Winston Hazel. His 'Sweet Exorcist' collaboration with Cabaret Voltaire's Richard H. Kirk became the first album release on Warp Records, and helped to define the bleep Techno sound.
Constantly reinventing himself, his recent Crooked Man project has been receiving worldwide acclaim.

And though Brydon and Parrot are key players in the history of British dance music, there's no doubt about it: Tooth Faeries aren't thinking about the past. They're too busy delivering The Sound of now.
