LYE shows their skills for this first Broox release. A side, the tone is given with a subtle and nervous groove, "Madame" is looming as a powerful track. On the B side, the EP takes a different color with two additional tracks. B1 with "Monsieur", the French trio offers a hypnotic rhythm that evolves in length thanks to a deep techno influenced beat. Finally, the remix of the Parisian Yakine, giving a dirtier dimension to "Monsieur" to close this EP. 180 grams, 300 copies no repress, VINYL ONLY!

Niagara returns with a 4 track EP, the first on their own label Ascender! 'SEE' is a techno jam built around a circular motif, gathering enough energy only to break out into a melodic and dramatic swirl.'Beto' begins with an evocation of Larry Heard's Chicago arriving at a melody that glides into the atmosphere. At the end, more keys join in... in a nutshell: synthesized Disco.
'Hexe' begins and ends always keeping up with an insisting cadence. The plastic texture, the vibes, the mutating percussion all cut through, while the track builds and reduces constantly.
'Ara' I do not think it is possible to get any grittier than this! Seriously. Dramatic strings, komisch synth line, bare-bones percussion, etc.

German melodic techno producer Oovation aka Peter Bonaventura has had a brilliant year. Techno legend Tesla's remix of his collaboration with Hakan Ludvigson hit the charts hard last spring, and since then Peter has had great success with releases on Clubstream, Univak, Inlab Recordings, supported by top techno names worldwide.

With this new EP, Oovation has teamed up with brilliant German vocalist Coni Soddemann for an eclectic, deep and melodic techno number. L.I.C. also comes with an innovative melodic remix from Hakan Ludvigson, whose creative vocal editing has created a different melody and a new story for the lyrics.

On the other side of the record, we find the heavier and equally brilliant, driving techno number Pandora, which offers a melodic techno experience on the darker side. Techno stars Balthazar & JackRock, famous from labels like 1605, IAMT and Renesanz, adds a huge, massive techno remix of Pandora, for those late, heavy techno sets.

In the wake of a truly stellar 2014, Premiesku (Livio & Roby plus good friend George G) is still 3 men on a mechanical mission. In 2014, as well as travelling the Globe to show their skills on their self made machines, they quickly had a huge impact on not only the Romanian scene, where they hail from, but also the worldwide electronic scene. Their expertly crafted, percussive club weapons have become something of a trademark for the boys and their debut EP for 20/20 Vision once again sees them utilise their production arsenal.

Having been on heavy rotation by the likes of Apollonia during BPM, title track 'Jojoman' possesses a bassline which is sure to shift any dance floor in 5th gear. Whilst 'Voice Game' combines a playful vocal sample with breakbeat style percussion, reminiscent of a secret weapon from the depths of Villalobos's armoury. Closing up the EP and kept exclusively for the digital release is 'Life Tool'. With it's low slung bassline and fierce kick drum it is a track full to the brim with Romanian attitude and intricate Premiesku production!

These original tracks are accompanied by two remixes. The first, courtesy of Parisian based producer Djebali, who Premiesku played alongside at Djebali's own night Ideal Juice in Paris. And second, their long term Argentinean amigo Guti - a relationship formed through both of their connections with the infamous Desolat label.

This EP is also the first in a new chapter of 20/20 Vision releases as the label undergoes a total over haul of it's art, design and logo. Entitled 'Pupil' the work has been carried out by Leeds based agency 'Golden' who have delivered simple but striking work. After last years 20 year celebrations the label felt it was time for a fresh start with the focus on new music and a brand new look.You can catch the much lauded Premiesku 'Analog Sound' live show at the 20/20 Vision showcase at Fabric on 11th April alongside Sven Tasnadi and Ralph Lawson.

Serkal is about to drop release number 22 and for the 'Dominant EP" they have put together an incredible ensemble of producers and dis: the 2 original tracks come from a collaboration between Monique Musique's David Gtronic and Crosstown and ViVa Music's Santos, and they are backed up with remixes from Leon and Ray Kajioka.
The single opens with the straight groovy 'The Third Eye', a tech house tune driven by reverberated vocals and atmospherical noises. Rebirth and Saved's Leon drops a dirty breakbeat version of the first track, a great rhythmical journey guided by a dirty sub-line and spacious vocals. Following is Enemy and Cocoon's Ray Kajioka, who delivers a strong techno version of the opening tune: a deep killer cut in which an 'in your face' chord drives the track into progressive melodies. Side B2 of the record is the second original, 'Poison', a deep tech house track in which hypnotical synth-lines and delayed vocals create a perfect late night vibe: the right track for such a brilliant vinyl release. Finally, the two producers offer up a an exclusive digital bonus tune, an 'abstract' mix of 'Poison, a pure soundscape, perfect to lose your mind in.

Hot on the heels of his inaugural release in January, Braiden introduces Slewis, a new producer on his emerging Off Out label. After years of honing his craft in the studio and playing in experimental bands, London born Slewis makes his mark on his debut with two equally bold dancefloor cuts. Group V opens with an extended twisting cacophony of synthesizers before breaking down into metallic driving machine funk. On the flip, Despot delves deeper down the rabbit hole as EBM influenced sounds and syncopated claps dance around a bed of paranoia, leading to a tense breakdown populated by a flurry of spasmodic drums.

Having established DeepSystems as a radio show some years back, Matt Pond (one third of the BitterSuite collective) has decided to launch a record label under the same name. Given his contacts, it's a smart move. Two close pals - BitterSuite member Jon Gray and Dan '1Dan' Rodgers - join forces as Tales Ov Rossi, laying down a slowly shifting chunk of deep, heads-down tech-house that stretches across one side of the 12". On the flip, Gray goes solo under the BitterSuite banner, delivering the two-part "Familiar Currents". Both versions sound heavily inspired by the dense percussion, expansive musicality and rich soundscapes of Ron Trent. It's a comparison that Gray will no doubt enjoy.

Back to the Future!
Two years after KANNs diverse 'Family Horror' various double 12', the label fills the gap by releasing catalogue no.10 including interpretations of 3 tracks from the compilation.
It is no accident that the original artists met their brothers in mind for choosing their favorite horror track. Whites Edward converted Johannes Beck, hamburgs analogue king RVDS rolls up with Even Tuell and the swedish duo of dancefloor-masters Axel Boman and Petter called Salax Peep Show restarted the machines for Map.ache. The family stories continues.

Boston Bun and Mayer Hawthorne make the night come alive in Paris Groove'. The original track came to life when Mayer Hawthorne got lost in Paris and decided to jam in the studio with the Paris-based producer. It's a mixture of Parisian funk and Hawthorne's incredible vocals, so you know that this one is going to be a show stopper.
Here's what Boston Bun had to say on the piece : 'I always wanted to make a special song for my city. Kind of a way for me to give back what she gives me everyday. Mayer swang by the studio in May. it was the beginning of the summer, the best time to enjoy this city. I was working on the track and he said ok, plug a microphone, i gonna sing on it now.' Two hours later it was done and we end up djing in a dope gay Party near by la Seine.'
The EP released as quite a 12'' white label. Dust paper sleeve, black vinyl with black printed labels, copies are very limited to 150 units and delivers a perfect Club edit as B-side.
Are you ready for the Paris Groove

After Der Dritte Raum's album Morgenland kicked up a lot of the same in 2013, it was only a matter of time until the right remixers for the album were found. No less than four amazing producers of today's electronic music scene were allowed to have their way with these tracks, and the results are more than fitting. This 12 features four powerful club tracks from four outstanding remixers: Swayzak, Cavaan, Lars Wickinger and Franz Noiser.

Parisian DJ W!ld joins forces with Cologne based Klangkultur Schallplatten this May with the superb I'm Not Human EP featuring a remix from UK based producer Darius Syrossian. Following a string of releases on Luna Records, Harry Klein Records and a Kerri Chandler, Art Department and SIS remixed EP on his newly launched The W Label, DJ W!ld provides another enthralling single with two original cuts of raw, bumping house grooves. Opening track 'I'm Not Human' is built around a percussion driven groove, looped deep house stabs and sharp brass hooks, creating an emotive track with sprinkles of jazz influences. Viva artist Darius Syrossian reworks 'I'm Not Human' with an acid twist employing a heavy rolling bass line to assist the original drum pattern, whilst cleverly creeping the sax licks into the breakdown to create intense impact when bouncing back to Syrossian's new groove. B-Side 'Ballade A Trois' brings forth W!ld's attention to detail with subtly automated filter cuts and flourishing delays, an intricate amalgamation of latin percussion slowly builds alongside a natural bass hook and warm strings showing evidence that organic sounds play a fundamental part in the Parisian producers approach to composition..

"4 friends who rather be early than l8te". Mechatok is the man. 18 years old, relatively new in the game - he is delivering on a level we didn't even know was existing before we got to check out his stuff. Moving effordlessly between contemporary pop aesthetics, video game soundtrack and dubstep influences he produces music that could work as a score to the NASA end-of-the-year resume commercial - but also gets your local dancefloor into new spheres. This of course is only one interpretation - it could also be Normal Musik in some better place, we suggest you go there and stay as long as you can.

When Recondite, AKA Lorenz Brunner, emerged with his debut LP for Acid Test (2012's On Acid), we were still learning about the German producer's inward-looking dance floor sound. A few years later, his sinewy jams have proved near universal - like an underground Zelig, he's fit perfectly everywhere from Rødhåd's Dystopian to Ghostly International and Innervisions. Acid Test also allows Recondite the chance to indulge his more outré tendencies and a welcomed return it is.

Sascha Braemer is back with his first solo-EP on Stil vor Talent since his massive 2011 hit 'People'. Teaming up with friends old and new, the result - 'Animal Instincts' - is simply stunning as Braemer showcases the versatility of a producer at the top of his game and an ability to think outside the box. Kicking things off, the EP's title track features the iconic Jake the Rapper on vocal duties. Seamlessly marrying a dark rap with mysterious singing, Jake compliments Braemer's flawless arrangement of swinging synths, rolling percussive elements and deep bass notes, all held together by a tight groove, perfectly. On 'Yeahhh', Braemer presents us with an epic slice of deep house with ethereal pads gliding over muted vocals and impelling toms. Anna Müller, known as one half of HVOB, lends her beautiful voice to 'You' on the B-side. Here, Braemer has crafted an impressive framework of subtle guitar licks, heavy-hitting snares and a melancholic but catchy bass-line that makes for an atmospheric, almost haunting listen. As waves of acid swallow Müller's sensuous vocals, we are left breathless. To round things off, Finnebassen turns 'You' into a bright club track that animates aided by sunny synths - funky!

Delsin are proud to present, Sides of Space, a collection of classic, lost and forgotten tracks from atmospheric techno producer D5. The 12 track, triple vinyl affair will land in November in both regular and limited edition forms. D5 has released a number of fine EPs on Delsin that date back to the turn of the millennium, as well as a fine full length in 2002 entitled 'Alien Artform'. The tracks on this new compilation have been chosen from old CDRs by label boss Marsel and truly reflect the artist formerly known as Dimensions 5's fine tradition of relaxing chilled out, Detroit influenced techno. His most classic track, 'Floatation Tank' (which was a standout from the 2005 Panet Delsin compilation) as well as all cuts from the sought after Neutrino EP, are included here, and still sound as good now as they ever did. In all there are seven previously released tracks as well as five brand new, never before heard cuts, and they all make for absorbing listening both in the club, on headphones or from the sofa.

In vielerlei Hinsicht ist VAL MAIRA die perfekte Kompakt-Platte, wenn auch eine, die Kompakt noch nie veröffentlicht hatte. Bis jetzt.

Nach einem Tal in den italienischen Bergen benannt. ist DAVE DKs dritter Langspieler (nach seinem 2007er Album auf Mood Music und einem 200er Debüt-Release auf Müller Records) eine mehr als beeindruckende Leistung - technisch wie künstlerisch. Zutiefst persönliche Erfahrungen und emotionales Gewicht prägen die Tracks, von der zarten Dämmerung des Openers FADE IN bis hin zu den robuster gestalteten Tanzeinlagen von Stücken wie SMUKKE LYDE, NUEVA CANCION or COOLETTE. Das große Interesse der Platte an den gegenseitigen Abhängikeiten von Harmonie und Dissonanz wird dabei besonders schnell deutlich: "ich habe versucht, eine Atmosphäre von Fröhlichkeit und Melancholie zu kreieren, die ineinander greift", erklärt der Künstler - nicht verschweigend, daß er schlichtweg etwas Schönes erschaffen wollte: "ich möchte, daß in den Stücken Hoffnung zu hören ist, nach dem Motto: alles wird gut."

Den eigenen Stil verfolgen, sich aber gleichzeitig immer wieder neu erfinden: Für viele Künstler ein Dilemma. Nicht jedoch für Dole & Kom. Ihre Salto Mortale EP kommt nämlich mit drei Produktionen, die auf faszinierende Weise ähnlich und doch sehr verschieden wirken. Die Ähnlichkeit ist von hintergründiger Natur, Druck und Zugkraft entstehen fast beiläufig aus dem Kontext. Verschieden sind dagegen die Stimmungen der Titel. Salto Mortale lebt von einer voluminösen Bassline, drumherum materialisieren sich entrückte Melodien aus einem rotierenden Klangnebel. René Bougeois setzt im dazugehörigen Remix auf körperbetonte Eleganz. Große Emotionen kommen mit der symphonischen Instrumentierung von Silence auf. Spätestens wenn dann der melancholische Zauber einer weiblichen Stimme einsetzt wächst der Track auf epische Größe heran. Und für Fly Bar wurden hochprozentige Club-Rhythmen in ein musikalisch anspruchvolles Arrangement gewebt. In der digitalen Version gibt's außerdem zwei Remixes zu Silence: Mollono.Bass verleiht dem Titel einen Hauch von Dub Techno, Seth Schwarz bereichert ihn mit seinen verträumten Violinklängen.

Jakob Häglsperger AKA Kalipo is a busy man. Operating as one third of German electro-punk band Frittenbude, his solo alias was brought to life in 2014 with debut album Yaruto", released on experimental label Antime Records. The multi-faceted producer now returns to Audiolith with the Wanderer EP", after having released the gorgeous Mäusemarsch' this summer on the label's electronic-focused Stiff Little Spinners compilation series. Wanderer is a restless record which sees Kalipo work his way through the deeper ends of four to the flour with a refreshingly experimentalist approach to production, with defamiliarized samples and analogue gear running the show. The music has changed since the Berliner's debut album, becoming more propulsive, more physical and geared towards the dancefloor. Composed mostly on tour or over extended periods of travelling, the track names on Wanderer' each come with their particular story, referencing places Kalipo has previously played or traveled to. Monolithic opener Donau Sunrise' sets the tone straight from the start with sanguine arpeggiators that work their way across a mystical backdrop. Melancholic themes infiltrate the cracks of the album and stand out tracks Banana Garden", written when Kalipo was stuck in a bamboo hut in the middle of thai jungle with a 40 degree fever and nothing else but headphones, a sampler and penicillin for company, and the stunning Institute Of Cotton Wool' are set to become earworms of the highest order. Wanderer' sees Kalipo right in his element.

Toolroom returns with the next edition in our successful artist-based 'Live' series with Dance heavyweights Amtrac, Mendo & Filterheadz stepping up to mix 'Toolroom Live 03'.

First up on mixing duties is American based DJ & producer, Caleb Cornett or as he's more commonly known, Amtrac. After the success of his 2014 debut release on the label with 'Those Days', and his latest single 'Hold On' already causing a stir on the underground circuit, Amtrac proves he is on top of his game and a commendable choice to reflect the funkier side of Toolroom. His two killer exclusives 'Arrangin' and 'Can't Stop' showcase this multi-talented artist's production skills and his mix which features an array of exciting talent including Zed Bias, Dennis Ferrer, Jimmy Edgar, KiNK & Copy Paste Soul to name a few, takes you on a journey through the best in underground Deep House with dark, funky rhythms thrown in for good measure.

Next up to the decks is Swiss-based DJ and Toolroom debutant, Mendo. Having released on some of the most respected labels in the industry including Saved, Defected, Terminal M, Noir & Get Physical, and proud owner of his own Clarisse Records imprint, its with great honour we induct this talented producer into the Toolroom family. Mendo has pulled out all the stops with his 'Live' mix, delivering 3 standout exclusives with partner in crime Yvan Genkins, and an exclusive rework of Simone Liberali's best-seller 'Swan'. His mix showcases a handful of his top picks of 2015 from Hot Since 82, Leftwing & Kody, Detlef, Ruben Mandolini, Weiss, Prok & Fitch & Stefano Noferini. A spinner since the age of 15, Mendo is a strong believer of the 'music is life' philosophy and this enthusiasm and passion for his music truly shines through in this first-class mix.

Completing the package are Techno titans and longstanding members of the Toolroom tribe, Filterheadz. Renowned for their energetic DJ sets and powerful signature sound, this dynamic duo deliver an eclectic mix of chugging basslines, rumbling drums & hooky vocals. 2015 has been a good year for the Belgian brothers, with 2 successful EP's on Toolroom Trax, the launch of their own label, Loopglow and a forthcoming artist album on Toolroom expected later in the year, Filterheadz are on a fast-moving train to success and it doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon! The influence of cold wave and post-punk has gradually become more pronounced across Correspondant's recent releases, with this latest offering - Correspondant 35 - possibly the clearest example of the trend yet. Something is Wrong comes from Vox Low, the Parisian duo of Benoit Raymond and Jean Christophe Couderc, who take their cues from krautrock, vintage psychedelia, minimal synth music, and new wave. While far from a conventional electronic/club music record, the EP's two original cuts align with the profile of the label (described by founder Jennifer Cardini as cinematic, downtempo warmups), and see remixes from returning Correspondant artist Javi Redondo and Optimo Trax affiliates Boot & Tax.

Myth Music returns with Urgency Grip EP by s:vt aka Sven Von Thülen, including a remix from White Material's Young Male. The 4 track EP shifts between pulsing bass tones, robo-rhythmic drum grooves and sleak detroit inspired sequences, making it a perfect addition to the Myth Music family.

It's safe to say that without Vito & Druzzi, we wouldn't be here today. Indeed, along with the other members of the Rapture (ever heard of them) and James Friedman, they founded Throne of Blood. Our histories go hand in hand. After releasing classic albums on labels like Sub Pop, DFA, Vertigo, and Motown- and spending more than a decade touring the World with LCD Soundystem, Soulwax, The Cure, Interpol, and Franz Ferdinand to name a few- Vito & Druzzi have spent the last few years shifting their focus towards DJing and production, building a studio in Brooklyn and churning out the jams. It's been a labor a love and we're very happy to present you with the first fruits of their collaboration.
'Moon Temple' and 'King of the Jungle' have a classic (but not retro) feel to them: 'Moon Temple' gradually builds towards analog madness, the groove held together by relentless rim shots reminiscent of Plastikman's seminal 'Spastik'. 'King of the Jungle' is to Chicago what 'Moon Temple' is to Detroit: slightly groovier, with ample use of organ sounds that'll please fans of Mike Dunn, all while retaining the same modern analog approach. Again, rimshots are omnipresent, but what did you expect coming from the guys who inspired an entire decade of cowbell driven disco jams
Curses reworks 'Moon Temple,' molding the track into a 'doom house' stormer that fits right in with his Call the Doctor EP: The reverbs are cavernous, the bass is low and the vibe is right. Fresh off their Achilles EP, PBR Streetgang house up 'King of the Jungle', adding hats, cut up vocal bits and sirens, steering the EP right into the middle of the dancefloor. Literally and figuratively, this is 100% Throne of Blood.

with his distinctive 'timeless touch' for making a great techno banger, full of energy and evocative sounds, perfect for the dance oor. The second track 'Exit One' is signed by the newcomer and rising star Alejandro Fernandez, who has released in some of the most important techno labels during the last year so far. 'Exit one' is an hypnotic techno track full of vibe, low bpm's with a killer loop that create a sophisticated atmosphere.

Although their number of collaborations is small, the chemistry between Berlin trio Afrilounge and Stuttgart's own Patrick Chardronnet is an undeniable part of the Poker Flat story. The Chardronnet vs. Afrilounge production collaboration arrived with a bang in 2005 with the squelchy tech house jam "Just For A Little Peek"; it turned into a breakout hit of the Poker Flat Four Compilation, and became the project's production calling card, brimming with suspense and irresistible melodies.
Following that same year came the group's EP Phonix, which honed in on the budding sound of funky minimal house with an electro infuence, and intricate, sample-driven rhythm patterns.
Years later in 2009, with demand showing no sign of waning, "Just For A Little Peek" fnally earned a dedicated EP re-release, enhanced by new remixes from Gabriel Ananda and Sarah Goldfarb. Now on Audiomatique Recordings, the studio magic of Chardronnet vs. Afrilounge returns for the stunning collection of new tracks that makes up "What About Us".

The title track reveals a deeper and more contemplative mood for 2014, with a pensive piano loop, a dark-toned deep house swing, and a vocal sample that speaks to the experiences of the disenfranchised.

Chris Lattner's remix of the same provides a punchier and more dramatic rhythm track for maximum impact and a more urgent effect.
B-side production "Morning Poem" harnesses the power spoken dialogue again, with a big flter of distortion, and wispy, whirring deep tech sounds tha testablish a late night feel.

Jordan Peak's Rogue Society imprint returns this October with Estebane Adame's 'Paper People' EP, backed with remixes from Robert Hood and Jus Ed. Los Angeles born Estebane Adame's shaped quite the career over the past decade, in 2004 Mad Mike Banks of Underground Resistance took note of Estebane's skills as a keyboardist following his studies in the field aged 19.

Banks invited Adame's to collaborate on his Galaxy 2 Galaxy / Los Hermanos projects, and following this Adame's teamed up with Santiago Salazar as ICAN which soon led to material surfacing on Underground Quality, Planet E and Subject Detroit, a striking indication of the quality embodied in Estebane's output. Here we see Estebane join the roster of Jordan Peak's Rogue Society imprint, following recent releases featuring Peak himself, Mike Huckaby and John Daly.

Opening the release is 'Rays Of Saturn', a striking Detroit tinged Dub Techno workout, fuelled by crunchy distorted rhythms, wandering arpeggios and penetrating stab sequences kicking things off with a punch. Following is 'Baby Nostradamus' which tips things over to a gritty acidic state with squelching bass licks, bright ethereal pad lines and ever-evolving, dynamic drum programming.

UR founding member Robert Hood steps up to rework 'Rays Of Saturn' to open up the latter half of the release, and in true Hood fashion we're treated to an expansive, unfolding interpretation, laid out over seven and a half minutes with a prevalent analogue drum groove, while the ever-blossoming stab sounds and swirling pads create a profoundly intense atmosphere. Underground Quality's Jus Ed reshapes 'Baby Nostradamus' next, as if the package wasn't punchy enough already, Ed provides a typically classy rework laying the foundations with loose analogue beats, while the cosseting atmospherics smoothly transform over the record six-minute duration.

Then last up to complete the package, offered up as a digital extra, is the third original cut from Adame entitled 'Something', taking on a more stripped approach with the percussion in comparison to the preceding cuts, allowing the multi-layered melodies to radiate through and create a hypnotic, tension building composition.

Born and raised in the clubbing hot spot of Tel Aviv, Itamar Sagi has been entertaining dancefloors for the past 15 years. His DJ career includes a 7-year residency at the legendary 'Haoman 17', a club which was elected as one of the best worldwide.

Having his musical roots based on the Detroit and Chicago sound of the 90s, Itamar brings up these influences in his music, which is always characterized by an advanced production and care for the sound.

He demonstrated this in his previous releases on Intacto. In 2010 he debuted at our label with the highly valued Kampala EP, together with other Johannes Heil and Ramon Tapia. Itamar returned to Intacto in 2011, to be featured on the Various Artists release that was a fundraiser for Japan. In 2012 he released the Kubba EP, and recently he is featured on the Intacto Presents Various Artists EP, with his dance bomb 'Nudge'.

With every release being supported by the biggest DJs all across the world and by reviews and interviews, Itamar Sagi is now a well respected name in techno, and one we love to have back on Intacto.

The fourth installment in the Legwork Records saga sees label heads Lance DeSardi & Leopold come together under the artist moniker LEGWORK. For their first outing under the name they start with BUCK SHOT, a techno-soul chugger featuring a remix by the futurist himself, Matrixxman. On the flip, the boys go in for a straight-ahead killer with MEAN 2 ME and a more musical version of the same tune, KEY 2 ME.

Another bunch of successful edits on the unstoppable TVPC label. It's fourth sampler (and already a seventh record in label history) covers a wide array of exceptional gems, spanning from balearic pop, through electro disco, to slavic soul and disco funk.
All tracks come from the late 70's and early 80's Poland and were carefully reworked by some of the finest young producers from the country, keen to pay homage to their musical roots.
The A-Side is owned by the young and talented Karol Aleksander, who brings two of his most popular reworks to the table. A1, which clocks around 100 bpm, is an irresistible combination of sportive, yet modest groove with slick, sexy female vocals. A2 on the contrary is a melancholy-filled piece of Balearic house, based on old Polish pop track with addictive piano lines triggering the feeling of nostalgia for something that passed imperceptibly.
Italo-fueled dancefloor madness opens the B-Side, curated by Kracow based combo of Unitrax & Radar groups. Four deejays, who usually are affiliated with deeper side of electronic spectrum, play around with rather unusual track lifted from Polish rock group debut album. B2 is handled by Polish house wunderkind Selvy, who closes the record with a touch of classy Indian summer vibes.The most beautiful moments of the short original version are extended with a great effect.
All in all another must have in The Very Polish Cut-Outs catalogue.

Less than a year since he served up his third album "Urban Animal," Claude VonStroke delivers more brand new original material! Based on the personal experience of starting at the bottom selling fake perfume out of the the trunk of his car, 'CaliFuture' foretells the sunny-sided ironies experienced by the legions of fame and heat-seekers who head out to the Golden State each year in the pursuit of The Dream. No matter how many knock-backs, no matter how many thankless interim occupations, no matter how many people yell at you each day; there's an overriding deep sense of hope that you WILL make it someday.

The barbed Bootsy-style falsetto narrative comes from VonStroke's close friend Barry Drift - who you may recognise from 'Urban Animal's 'Sugar & Cinnamon' - and his sermon is complemented by an obese acid groove that thunders unrelentingly beneath. Fluctuating analogue funk, it taps into the deepest tech DNA with a lava-like flow.

On the flip, 'Eye I Eye' is equally heavy and twice as twisted. A simple vocal shot is mangled, wrangled and tangled in the way only Claude knows how. Warped and wonderful, the vocal and processed percussion rise and excite with a strong sense of dirtybird insanity before plunging into juicy tech-funk groove. Mischievously jacking with a robust bass/kick play-off, more processed vocal shots enter the fray along with eerie risers that ghost up and down the scale with a fun sense of unpredictability.

A finer insight into the dark and devious mind of the dirtybird bossman you will not find. The question is: did his hard pre-fame Cali slog create this twisted mindset... Or was it already in place before he got there

This year has been a time for Throne of Blood to stretch out a bit. Following a string of well-received singles exploring the quirkier corners of the dancefloor (DJ Chloe, Brioksi, Pleasure Planet, Bohemian Groove, PBR Streetgang) as well as Moon Rock a long-percolating exploration of modern ambient music, we're dropping a springtime megabomb aimed squarely at the big room. Luca Venezia aka Curses may be new to the Throne of Blood fam, but he's a familiar fixture in clubs around the globe and an ambassador for heavy bass thanks to the countless bangers he's released over the past decade or so on labels like Institubes, Marble, and his own Trouble & Bass imprint. Having shelved his long-running Drop the Lime project, Venezia certainly hasn't abandoned the dark menace that has become his sonic signature.

Kicking things off, 'Call the Doctor' focuses down to simple efficiency: digital sirens, pitched-down vocals, and tooth-rattling subs demonstrate that Curses hasn't forsaken his love for bass or the brutality his fans have come to expect. 'String Static' combines big reverb and ominous atmospheres with a bounce sure to move the crowd. In keeping with the 'not for the chillout room' theme, Curses asked his friend Riton (Ed Banger) to lend his inimitable touch to a remix of 'Call the Doctor.' Never one to err on the side of moderation or modesty, Riton takes Curses' banger to another level, upping the tempo and chopping vocals on top of frenzied crescendos. This one was definitely designed for the world's most massive dancefloors. 'Pompopo' winds things down, complimenting Riton's rampage with a lengthy groover that's sure to become a secret weapon for savvy DJs.
