Well renowned for his chameleon approach to electronic music, Butch descends on the Visionquest imprint once again with another style-bending three tracker featuring collaborations with longtime studio partner Hohberg and latest protege C. Vogt. Aside 'Peyote' is an epic, synth-laden space odyssey, building and bubbling with dubby atmospherics, dense rich percussion and psychedelic Eastern melodies under a rumbling groove. On the flip, 'Ozymandias' is more squarely aimed at the dance-floor, with a hypnotic, soaring synth line and stripped drum groove that makes way for warm sweeping chords. 'Missing Channels' with C. Vogt darkens the mood with a mutating soundscape of bleeps and fx and a menacing, arpeggiated bass-line.

Named ´Producer of the year´ several times over the course of his career, Butch is a true stalwart of the German scene amassing countless hit releases on high profile labels such as Sei Es Drum, Rekids, Cocoon, Desolat and Hot Creations. Last year Butch released 'Lullabies To Paralyze' on Visionquest (alongside Hohberg), to much critical acclaim and continues to showcase the collaboration in 'The Persistence Of Memory EP'.

As with any restless entity, Butch is set to further explore pastures new in 2014. He'll be launching Otherside and working on more experimental, 'psychoacoustic' music with friend and percussionist Hohberg . Further collaborations are also on the horizon, with a return to making music with friend and cohort Ricardo Villalobos as ButRic with the two figures being anything but generic, it promises to be another feet twitching, brain melting escapade in Butch's musical ride.

In the lead-up to the release of 'Motion Sickness' on December 3rd, Domino will put out a three-part 12' vinyl series with each record featuring two highlights from the remix compilation. These releases will be staggered throughout November in December, the first of which is to be released on November 19th. Full details can be found below.
Bringing together some of the most respected names in dance music with the key players in the Domino roster; the compilation celebrates dance and electronic music. In this series these incredible interpretations will only be available in the format classically associated with the genre: vinyl.
The tracks featuring in the series include the Grammy Award-nominated Carl Craig remix of Junior Boys' 'Like a Child', Mike Simonetti's re-working of Blood Orange's 'Champagne Coast', the fluid funk of DFA's remix of Clinic's 'Tomorrow' and Joy Orbison's beautifully twisted and intricate take on 'Love Cry' by Four Tet.

Episode #5 from Superfiction Recordings sees label bosses Italoboyz and Blind Minded join forces again on another brace of electrifying tech house cuts.

Having already impressed with the labels first trio of releases and drafted in the likes of John Dimas, Cosmic Cowboys and Luna City Express on remixes, the boys return with new cuts '909 Drummer' and 'Rainbow Bended', backed by an exclusive rework from Alex Celler.
Featuring both original productions the A side kicks off with the devilishly funky 909 Drummer. Built around its domineering yet simple bassline, the track remains stripped throughout as it teases with minimal percussive sounds and chopped vocal stabs.
As the ivory tinkles the bass drops again and makes our world go round.

On Rainbow Bended the Italoboyz and Blind Minded play games with our senses as they chop, stretch and stitch manic vocal samples into their strong, marching, kick-drum-driven groove.

Machine Soul is a documentary film about Finnish electronic musicians. It is a glance at the methods, rituals and philosophy behind the music, but most of all at the burning passion that drives the artists forward year after year. Machine Soul tells the story of Finnish electronic music scene from the artists's point of view.
Many of the artists are virtually unknown in their home country, but have a significant fan base outside Finland. Machine Soul is a tribute to the pioneers and newcomers of Finnish electronic music. Director Tero Vuorinen got the idea for the film during his film school days over ten years ago. The dream came to fruitition when production finally started in 2014.
The first screening of Machine Soul documentary took place at the Turku Modern Festival in July 2015. Machine Soul will also be shown at music and film festivals in Finland and around the world in association with Music Finland and Genelec. Music Finland is a statefunded organization in charge of exporting and promotiong Finnish music. Genelec is a award-winning Finnish manufacturer of professional active loudspeakers for audio and movie production.

'The Come UP EP' is the third release on Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers hot as hell Tuskegee imprint. Matt Edwards (Radio Slave) returns to his Rekids label under the guise of B.A.D.S (Berlin Amateur Dramatics Society) - a new project cooked up with Spencer Parker and Francesco de Nittis aka Mr Ties, in order to release this track he made especially for an appearance at de Nittis' Homopatik party at Berlin's About Blank last year.

Since debuting the track it has gone on to become not only an anthem for the part itself (the a capella has become a regular a favourite Mr Ties opener for Homopatik sets), but a goto crowdpleaser for the handful DJs such as Nina Kraviz who have drawn for its infections energy over the past year.

Imbued with the with all the infamous mischief of Homopatik and the historical clubbing lineage the party is rooted within within, Hous-O-Matik Hom-O-Patik does everything you would expect it to: it gets the party started. B.A.D.S will return later in the year with Spencer Parker and Mr Ties' own versions of the track.

Ramona is ready to reveal yet another manmade mystery to humanity - "Reframe" by Benedikt Frey. Browsing through
Frey's back catalogue, one thing has always been certain with every new record released - Frey's music has always been
mystical, was working in different layers and has never been only a further development of the record before. "SH Birds"
enters the Single with waves of hypnotizing synth-sounds, a weird vocal-sample and an analog-driven beat. "Signals" has
a terribly wonderful build-up, starting with a basic rhythm from a kick-drum some hi-hat and a snare here and there and only
lives off carefully chosen soundscapes. "Mind The Gap" goes right the opposite way from the track before - a striking bass-
line throughout the track with a hunch of acid, a clap as hard as a smack to the head and mesmerizing vibes all over the
place. "Good Night Houston" marks the last track of "Reframe" and starts out with a dark soundscape that drives right into
an analogue outburst of old Chicago-ish acid-vibes and loses itself in the haze of deepness later on. Ramona is proud to
present you this piece of strange and exotic fruit - let's relish together.

With his big releases on Terminal M, Material, Bitten, Area Remote etc. spanish dj and producer Danny Serrano is definitely on the run and delivering consistent high quality clubtracks since years. It was in 2009 when he had his first release on bouq (together with Mendo) so it was about time to return to Amir & Butch's label.

Klingel 3 is going to release limited Vinyl 12-Inch editions & digital with a spotlight on Hamburg based artists.

The imprint of the club is directed straight to the floor with depth & passion.

Its fairly safe to say that Jay Bliss is on fire at the moment. Now he takes time out from his recently launched "Stomping Grounds" imprint to follow up on his 2013 appearance with OCH on "The Remix EP". Here the warm, punchy 9 minute A-side creates a highly seductive floor-tension. Flip the disc over for two modern take's on minimalism, possibly paying homage to Studio One or Basic Channel with persistent rhythms, undertones of original dub, shaken and stirred with plenty off Bliss magic.

First release on Volupso sees Lillo enter the fray presenting uber cool vibes from Espana accompanied by slick remixes from Manna from Sky and Marcelo de Almeida

MA SPAVENTI, a Roman, now based in Amsterdam, has been around for a minute; his trio R-A-G (with Aroy Dee and Gijs Poortman, a.k.a.Gstring) has been recording refined, classicist house and techno on an all-analog kit since 2010.

Marked by tough drums, swirling pads, and awillingness to veer into pure, beatless ambient territory, their records are formally purist without scrimping on a sense of mystery.
Spaventi's solo work so far has suggested that he may be the tough guy of the bunch; his singles "Wrecking," "The Jungle," and "Insanity" skipped over all niceties in favor of brute 909 snares and scrappy synth work. His 2012 single "Baia," meanwhile — co-produced with
Secretsundaze's James Priestley — was a cubby, sax-infused tribute to Balearic house. Now Spaventi is back with two new Eps that demonstrate how versatile he really is.

Revolver, Most Excellent Unlimited's inaugural release, is something of a Swiss army knife for DJs planning to venture into the wilderness.
There's a melancholic, mid-tempo house number, "The Sick Tape Dealer,"that's lit with a crystalline glow. There's "Slowmo," a loping opener
that suffuses an andante house groove in queasy Giallocore tones. "Revolver," the record's fastest cut, balances strapping snares and
insistent open hi-hats with dreamy chords; it sits on the fence between placid and acid, just the thing for tipping the night into
full gear. And the slow-motion tearjerker "La Valle Delle Lacrime"comes in two versions — one with a skeletal drum machine and a beatless edit that revels in the simplicity of his analog synths. Luxuriating in ringing fifths with just a hint of Theremin-like
warble, it's an unusually sturdy example of ethereal ambient techno.

On remix duties, the prolific Mark E delivers a deep, atmospheric, slow burner in the vein of his recent PROJECT E work. The "Revolver
EP" 12" ships everywhere Tuesday September 17, and beatless version of "La Valle Delle Lacrime," plus a downtempo chugger aptly named,
"Slowmo" are set to release digitally later this fall.

The underground house queen of Southamerica Mamacita is releasing her first 12'' EP "Luz" on new Stockholm label Klack Records.

"Luz" is a collaboration with argentinian house producer Fer MariNo. Recorded between Rosario, Santiago and Stockholm and produced by Klack's Gonzalo Vargas, the result is a romantic yet murderous sonic utopia where women rule the warehouse and spanish remains the lingua franca in its darkest corners, as she sings "Soy mas que la luz; voy donde quiero y con quien quiero" (I'm beyond the lights; I go wherever I want to, with whomever I want to.)

The remix by Cologne's Christian S from Comeme delivers a solid blending of classy drum machinery in perfect symbiosis with that hot, hypnotic bassline that's a trademark of the original while Bpitch Control's diva Aerea Negrot reinvents the structure and the harmonies turning its elements into a wider, fully detailed club extravaganza.

This time we have two matrons of the Owlana Twins on board. With their
"Owlways EP" they present fresh tracks with a big serving of groove and
melodies they sweeten every wave ride. Of course we also have 2 amazing
remixes for your ears. On the A side, we have Mario Aureo with his driving
"Dayfly" remix and on the B-side completed Mirco Niemeier with deep
pumping bass his "Nightfly" remix for the girls.
Four strong tracks which provide in daylight and at night for hot lifejackets!

A pioneer of the darker side of electronic experimentation, Troy's A-side 'Softcore' is anything but: a haunting, chugging peak-time production with a music DNA consisting of twisted strands of EBM, techno, and industrial, with a hint of dub thrown in for good measure.
B-side 'The Dangers With Strangers' is an equally powerful effort; its depraved machine funk and distorted tales of strangers provide a visceral exploration into the depths of hedonism. Having debuted with a release on Oliver Huntemann's Ideal Audio label, elusive Bristol producer Dubspeeka (perhaps more famously known as one part of British group Kosheen) delivers a stripped down yet driven interpretation of Troy's original, reinforcing the reasons why his productions have been exciting a number of the techno elite over the past year. Chloé - a recent addition to the Items & Things Booking Agency - needs little introduction. Typically poised between genres and aesthetics, the Kill The DJ founder and ex-Pulp resident rounds off proceedings with a remix that is as atmospheric as it is club-suitable, a reflection of her unique eclecticism that couldn't be more at home than with Items & Things.

The Untold Stories record series, a new project steeped in spirituality, shares its first offering: a double 12" collection of single works by artists in moments of much magic, featuring: Easy Changes, Jonas Sella, Marteaux, Cesare Marchese, Howl Ensemble, Laurine Frost & Andrey Zots, Rainer, and DoubtingThomas. 8 tracks aflush with strong primal rhythms and distinct spirit, sure to enliven and move. A shared tone of natural warmth exists throughout this release of bold character, beginning with the jaunty groove of 'Aralon' by Easy Changes, followed by DoubtingThomas with a more mystical story of love lost in 'Adelaide'. After receiving large support from top tier DJs like Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex, Slam, and John Digweed, Carlos Sanchez's Stability EP releases once more with an array of viable remixes from Unike's impressive roster. As a largely supported producer with tracks on Real Tone, 1trax, and 20:20 vision, Terry's uncanny ability to provide a sophisticated deep sound has given him the keys to a largely successful career. His Waiting4theRevolution mix of Claim and Think supplies nothing short of sexy beats. Steamy atmosphere of timeless motion carries this 'revolutionary' mix into a sloping display of smooth resonance. Reverberating pads and on point bits of blocks and claps lend hand to the mix's overall theme of dark to bright energies.
Last but not least, Leo Leal teams up once again with another impressive talent from Unike's bag of on hand producers. stand out musically, but they all sound like they would do the damage at da club.

Since 2004 Chris Wood has been working as a successful producer and remixer for labels including Souvenir, Below, Kindisch, MurMur, be_chosen or levelNONzero and in 2009 he started working with his long-time friend, fellow producer and co-owner of Freebase Records in Frankfurt, Meat (Carsten Schuchmann). Coming just a short time after the release of his collated singles collection, Retrospective, the first track on this new 12 from Chris Wood & Meat comes courtesy of deep house don, Mr. G. His remix provides a sparse take on the original 'Cock Robin,' jacking straight ahead into a hard-hitting house rhythm, complete with finger-clicks and vocal stabs. A definite dance-floor roller. On the flip, the duo have provided a brand new cut, 'Tony's Pipe,' which rattles with drilling percussion and soaks itself in a modulating, acid-tinged synth line, all built around emerging, muffled vocal samples.

* Following a sublime 2014, Mora Music kicks off the new year with a well-crafted two track single from one of the labels mainstays, Drummond. Kaleidoscope, the A side, dawns with a thunderous kick that soon builds to the track's dubby chords that are present throughout. The bomb peaks to a well executed building synth that hits its high and crashes back into that thunderous kick and sneaky percussion.

* 'This is Something' on the B-side is a straight up 10 minute warhead. The driving momentum of the track contrasts perfectly with the almost humming synth that completes their lengthy loops. Combine this with the seedy French vocal incorporated in the track and you have something, which is surely going to go off this year.. A Mora Music firm favourite already !!!

Mannmademusic became known very quickly, over the space of a few low key, but expertly realised edits releases for the likes of Glenview, Lumberjacks In Hell & Diner City Sounds.
This EP sees him continue wearing his influences proudly, but re-imagine them in an altogether rawer framework - Samples woven together, augmented and redefined, some of it following the classic KDJ blueprint but laid out in a style that's all his own.

Those familiar loops submerged and unfurling, rubbing up against altogether more off-kilter but coherent workouts, sat alongside perfectly measured electronic jams all combining into an EP that stands head and shoulders above the competition.

since his first ep tips' on luciano's label cadenza in 2007 producer and dj petre inspirescu emerged into one of the key figures of the romanian electronic music scene.

so far he released music on labels such as vinyl club, lick my deck or amphia. together with his buddies rhadoo and raresh he also launched in 2007 the label (a:rpia:r) -  a platform where he, his two friends and many producers from romania and abroad released detailed grooving house and techno, that stands out with delicate structures and one-of-a-kind grooves.

both of his more dance floor oriented solo albums intr-o seara organica...' and gradina onirica for (a:rpia:r) are enlarged with melodies, sounds and harmonies that go beyond the usual characteristics of a dance album.

furthermore his love for classic musicians like mily alexejewitsch balakirev, alexander porfiryevich borodin or or nicolai andrejewitsch rimsky-korsakow can be felt in the album padurea de aur (opus 2 in re major) and two more eps that he released under the alias pensemble on the romanian label yojik concon in order to unite classical spheres with analogue electronic music production.

in february 2013 he also released his highly acclaimed fabric mix cd that only features dance floor leaning music produced by himself. with talking waters' he published in late 2014 his first 12inch on mule musiq that is now followed by the full-length album vin ploile' which he produced without the intention to entertain with easy to hook up rhythms, melodies and harmonies.

even tough he established himself as a internationally playing house dj that regularly performs at all major clubs, festivals and other party destinations around the globe: as a musician petre inspirescu always tries to enter new territories to explore with a heartfelt human touch the infinite space of sound.

for his latest album the man that originally comes from the eastern romanian town braila stepped away from his former experiments of melting classical spheres with electronic music. instead the 36-years old man from bucharest only used some piano, string and wind instrument elements and analogue electronics to arrange a gracefully deep ocean of sound.

all slow grooving tracks spread the atmosphere of live improvised sessions that are edited, tweaked and mixed to perfection. in-the-moment moods of strange and unusual analogue synth sounds groove in a fluid quality with subliminal bass shapes, latinate percussions, jazz rhythms and acoustic melodies.

together they create a gaseous kinetic atmosphere full of tangible rhythm patterns, delicate chords and ghostly modular synth pads - all mixed subtle to create space for the tones between the tones.

you can call it a hypnotic after hour album for after hours that are dedicated to a deep listening experience. you can tag his arrangements as brilliantly textured and musically super-charged ambient, which goes beyond the usual definition of the genre.
