Hot on the heels of two EP releases on Bristol label Shall Not Fade, Felipe Gordon is preparing for the release of his debut album on the important UK imprint. With human contact at an absolute minimum, it's refreshing to hear an electronic music record that ventures away from the machine in favour of the organic. Gordon's ability to blend complex jazz instrumentation with acid-licked basslines, golden-age house aesthetics and the cultural sounds of South America is unrivalled; creating distinctive, beautiful and exciting house records from his home in the Colombian capital of Bogota.

"A Landscape Onomatopeya" was crafted through the concept of a painting; exploring shades, changes of tone, use of light. "I found myself making tons of music and wondering how to start an album process", he says, "something with more concept; a long journey between all the different musical influences in my head. I wanted to try to accomplish something with soul, deepness and an inherent melancholia to it. More organic, more human."

The record - which includes the Spanish word Onomatopeya as a Colombian statement and ode to the Latin American house scene - kicks off with the early evening funk of "How Do You Spell That", the distinct sugar cane sweetness of Guaro hanging in the late sunlight. "Wes" ventures into hip hop territory; dusty boom baps, 90's scratching and live guitar provoking a vibe that lies somewhere between Dilla and fellow Colombian AvenRec before the A-side reaches its climax with a cut of Gil Scott-Heron-esque funk on "She Will Come".

The B-side raises its curtain and with it comes two cuts of sublime house, each more colourful than the last. "The Colombian Excursions of House Music" does exactly what is says on the tin; fusing South American drum patterns with the creative innovation of live jazz to create a dimly lit, Latin American energy. "Momma, It's A Long Journey" maintains a more progressive vibe as it meanders through subtle acid stabs, radiant atmospherics and an oxymoronic blend of mournful, hopeful vocals.

Tape throbs and breakbeats make up the C-side as we delve deeper into Gordon's sound palette: think The Cyclist and Kaytranada, but with an Ibero-American vibe. "Howl" meanders slowly through the smoke-filled booths of a jazz cafe whilst the sounds of Detroit and Chicago shatter and break ("Away", "Das Nuyorican Vibes") over the crowd below on, before "Brazil" invites you outside for a post-dance cigarette with itsdowntempo boom-bap and mellow energy.

The record comes to its end with three D-side cuts that perfectly encapsulate its artistic vision. "Like the album itself, the artwork process was all about texture and analog treatment", he says. "We used old pentax cameras with black and white ilford rolls to achieve an intimate feeling. I found that my mind was drawn to a landscape with a house deep inside the Bogota mountains; where I hang all the time with my girlfriend and friends. It's a quiet, emotional place. Far from the city."

Wiggling basslines, vibrant shimmers and bold jazz instrumentals bring a fitting end to a truly beautiful record, and further cements Shall Not Fade's reputation as a label with its finger on the pulse of exciting dance music.

Perceive is a vinyl only imprint dedicated to minimal house music.

For this second chapter, the talented Jos Lok delivers an elegant three tracker.

Each cut of the EP is a deep journey that reveals a warm magnetic atmosphere supported by irresistible drums.

The record will be available in limited edition.

Mechatronica drops another forceful electro release, this time with a diverse collection of new and familiar faces in Kosh, OCB, Jauzas The Shining and Ersatz Olfolks.

The Moroccan Casa Voyager crew conducts the A-side in style, Kosh carefully manufacturing an expanding, fat and spacey electro drive while OCB laces old school electro flavours with breaks, acid and devastating groove.

On the flip, harder and darker electro sounds evolve as decade-long French electro producer Jauzas The Shining drops a potent electro/acid track in 'Machine', followed by the relentless energy of Stella - a murky, ever-intensifying journey through electro, breaks and industrial soundscapes by French producer Ersatz Olfolks.

Moddullar are the protagonists of the tenth release of their own label "INNSIGNN". They decided to release INNSIGNN's first 12", an EP with 4 tracks, including a Remix by Lewis Fautzi, one of the artists they most admire and that was always a reference to them.

It made sense to make him a part of this special release.

The EP will be available for sale on 12" vinyl and digitally.

After a long hiatus Meraki Music returns with ‘Monday Morning’ EP. An original project from Manchester & Leeds based Jamie Leather with added remix from close friend Jake Flory

Early support from Voigtmann, Christopher Ledger, Arapu, Prichindel, Jane Fitz & more

The always-innovative John Beltran surprises us with his first release on a Romanian label. The circularity of Energy Circle, the beauty of The Cycles EP, sets a typically Beltran soundscape, a melodic mood for this three-pieced beauty. The Sun Also Rises on the flip side, making it the rather bright beast of the release, while the marching B2 – Going Uphill Fast (hope on the horizon) — is a granular techno classic, closing Eufonic Records' first release on a very Detroit note.

Sound Support is a new project from Lorenz Rhode and Lars Dales.
Getting to know each other musically through Lorenz's involvement in Detroit Swindle's live shows (of which Lars in one half )this is the first result of them getting down to it in the studio.

New Electro Bangerz

DJ BOO WILLIAMS is back with more of his signature sound on this limited & stamped release of “TRIBULATION” & “MENTAL RELEASE". Arpeggiated movements, syncopated rhythms & plenty of sonic peaks & valleys are featured on both tracks. A “TRIBULATION” dub also included from surprise Chicago producer.

After the success of the ‘White’ release by the Adjustment Bureau, featuring a remix from Federico Molinari,
HAZE returns to announce the first chapter of its ‘BLACK’ series.
This one sees talented Romanian musician Crihan aka Discret Popescu (Mezin / Ultrastretch)
open the door to his inner world as he shares 4 mind bending original productions.
He demonstrates every shades of his musical mastery across both sides. From the deep and minimalist grooves of ’Behind The Veil’ & ’Under The Influence’, to the bizarre trip-hop vibes of ’Over & Away’… and concluding his story with the hypnotic, ambient atmospheres of ‘Hold’.

Blendits Audio brings us a special 12'' that combines cuts from both BLAU028 and 029 digital releases.

Following up to his debut mini-album “Antennen” issued last year on Noorden, fellow Cologne-based producer Panta Rex returns to the label with “Lefty”, his sophomore three-track delivery which finds him scoping out the confines between photophobic modular techno, subsheavy traction and AI-operated melodicism.

True to the intricate engineering of his first compositions, Panta Rex expands his sonic logos to even broader horizons of -altered- functionality. Most definitely a piece of club-oriented abstr-activism though offering vaster sequences and audio expanses to perambulate your mind within, “Lefty” is a mille-feuille of textural ambiguities, secret rooms and corridors – piecing together galloping dynamics with bleepy opaqueness as it leaves your mind out of focus all the way through to a steely, slo-burning yet highly choreographic finale.

Veering off to a more aqueous, dubby state of mind, B1 “Swerve” draws the loud, muffled kicks and FX-drenched synth stabs for a much immersive ride in the deep, shrouded in organic envelopes and overlapping layers of intriguing sonic minutiae. Closing cut “Dizz” wraps it up on a more breaksy note with its contrasted ballet of wistful strings, sliced-and-diced drumwork and dissonant chimes opening us to a heightened, 90s-informed apex of sorts, where Panta Rex’s subtle touch and widescreen vision bloom all the more unreservedly.

‘A ceremony that invokes ancient spirits like the Dom & Roland productions, the early raw sound of RZA and the bleakness of the Birmingham techno scene in the 90's.

A cinematic trip of film noir aesthetics mixed with an eastern european sci fi sensibility.

Touch Of Evil meets Zulawski's On The Silver Globe.

Pessimist runs the voodoo down for the first time on Berceuse heroique and we are proud to release some of his most honest work.’

VII Circle returns to his Destroy To Rebuild imprint this March with two fierce techno tracks alongside Mickey Nox and Fractions remixes.

Following 2020's "Fearless EP", which saw support from the likes of Rebekah, Regal, and Randomer, VII Circle returns to his own Destroy To Rebuild imprint with two blistering originals and a pair of remixes from Green Fetish's Mickey Nox and Russian duo Fractions.

Title track "Warriors" gets straight to the point with a heavy-duty synth snaking its way through the track, as a series of relentless drums and sharp production combine to form a pure sonic assault. "Mayhem" takes a darker turn, conjuring images of dark, sweat-filled rooms, taking influences from intense club experiences.

For Mickey Nox's take on "Warriors", the Melbourne based producer strips the track to the bone, turning his focus to bone-crushing drum shaping, reducing the lead synth of the original to a sparsely used element, deployed to maximum effect.

Drawing from their experience on Rotterdam Electronix and Dax J's Monnom Black VA, Fractions turns "Mayhem" into an upfront banger. By adding rave-infused stabs and the occasional breakbeat to the mixture, the duo brings a fresh take on the original, with a euphoric breakdown thrown in for a brief respite before the pandemonium resumes.

Years of Denial and Veyl enlist Silent Servant, Broken English Club, Orphx and Alexey Volkov to remix their 2019 album ‘Suicide Disco.’ Heart attack music at its finest.

We are back on wax again with a very special release. It means a great pleasure for us to have one of the pivotal figures of the Madrid underground techno scene on board, Herr Unkle Fon.

Some years ago, Madrid clubscene was formed by conventional clubs in conventional locations with conventional opening and closing times and usually, conventional programming. Manuel Cano then founded Utopía Secret Society and things changed forever for the city’s underground nightlife.

Now as you may have noticed there is no club scene at all, neither conventional nor illegal, sign of the times.

Musically speaking, Manuel started as a guitarist and soon evolved into studio engineer, label owner, club promoter, record shop owner (Ater Cosmo), social agitator… and adventurous character that reflects in his productions all his knowledge of the dancefloor.

Jisatsu is a slow paced broken beat surrounded with smooth textures, soon joined by a repetitive synth line that adds the hypnotic component.

Genroku Ako follows with a cosmic approach, continuous percussive and synthetic lines run together on a fast BPM exercise obsessive, linear and mental.

On the flip side, 47 Ronin uses dreamy stabs over a relentless groove mixing liquidity with tension.

Closing the release Shuppatsu is an almost beatless exercise, just with 909 rimshots, toms and snares spiced with ethereal components

A timeless futuristic release that can wait on your record bag until things go in better directions.

After his debut last year, The Eskapist re-appears from the shadows for another double-episode of the story...

"Make yourself some tea, sit down at the table and imagine the sound of an ear of wheat. You are going on a long journey, and I am your random travel companion. Talk to me, lightly and openly, as if my station will be soon and we will never see each other. Ready? If so, just answer the question: are you happy?" N.Yasminska

Some say that 13 is an unlucky number, but the 13th dnb vinyl release in our catalogue is here to prove the theory completely false. After all, how can you go wrong with Harland, who has shown to be not only a seasoned DJ but also a talented producer, and Mark System, who has been around for long enough to leave you absolutely certain that he's able to always deliver the goods.

The release is actually a kind of extended single because the vinyl comes with three tracks, and the digital bonus includes two additional tracks. But first things first.

Side A opens with "Leo" - named after Harland's recently born son (whose sampled voice you can hear right at the beginning of the track - followed by some sampled toys later on as well); a pleasantly progressing, summer-vibed roller with an emphasis on the low end.

A2 is "Simon Lake" - another deep, warmly "purring" roller, but offering a more late-afternoon mood, perfect for a twilight cruise through the city.

Side B is all about Mark System's remix of "Moon", which is a balladic, slightly nostalgic quicker-paced liquid tune, rich with melody, vocal bits, piano samples, and feel-good vibes.

'Lost Spirits' is an exploration in sounds for dancing. Catalysed by the catastrophe that was 2020, Hidden Empire step off the stage and retreat to the studio on a quest to find out what moves the people.

They seem to have found it. One out of the box, this 16 track album is designed for diversity. Hidden Empire oar their creative rudders, lending their hand from techno to deep house with a cheeky reach-around to a more downtempo vibe.

The first three tracks send you down the rabbit hole on a toe-tapping, hip-slapping aural escapade to the heavier edge of techno, the sublime vocals of Artche taking you directly back to those dancefloor moments when time stands still.

Taking the stairs two at a time in polyamorous heels, you’ll fall in love with the sassy, classy, savage vibes of ‘Resurgence’ and ‘Dark Matter’.

Transitioning to a more tribalesque vibe is ‘Organic Train’ a cut which blends the primitive, esoteric influence of the old world with the punchy, industrial sounds of the new world. Continuing on the exploratory sound voyage of downtempo, broken beaten space techno, ‘Mr. P’ stands in the forest listening to the plants talk to the people. Bebetta slips in with her inimitable style in the collectively inspired ‘All of Us’, keeping the Fun Dial turned right up.

Delving deep into the tundra, ‘Hectic Dreams’ become reality as the album turns towards the chunkier end of the musical spectrum. Punching out the bass-heavy bangers like 'Once Upon' (with a cameo from South African slam poet & spoken word artist The Lazarusman), Hidden Empire roll out with a flurry of cuts that are limitless in genre and luminous in effect.

The ‘Lost Spirits’ album is a nod to the certain kind of limitless magic which happens when people come together, without preconceptions, to get lost in the music together.

Packed full of 100% pre-pandemic dance-floor approved cuts, wrap your ears around these tasty morsels, in anticipation of a live show where we can all dance together en masse.

EP of four tracks can be called a canonical example of a groovie and deep melodic house.

The first composition, St. Terrace, perhaps the most dynamic, as if personifying the rhythm of a megapolis, which is quietly observed from an open terrace.

The next track Tsvir laconically continues the given rhythm, however it looks more thoughtfully and less swiftly. The minimalistic sample row lays itself brightly on the dense groove.
Side B opposite, takes the listener from the city to the natural landscapes.

Fat dub and soft bass sound quite familiar, but fresh at the same time.

The final track Nebosvod is the softest and dreamy. Rhythm overflows and synthesized melodies create a feeling of lightness and space. As if there were no borders. And it really don't exist for human imagination.

In general, Construction B is very light and bright work. Such music brings to mind the endless natural spaces. Gorgeous for both simple listening and for a good dance workout in the evening.

Memorial Home and Arnaud Le Texier team up for this split vinyl on REVOLT by bringing you these 4 individual cuts that contrast a distinctive sound between both sides of this vinyl.

Thomas P. Heckmann's 30th Anniversary Special Edition ! LTD Splatter Repress !

Two of the great Acid-Techno classics are now back on one shiny purple Vinyl that complements the epic project name Purple Plejade.

Purple Plejade was the collaboration of Thomas P. Heckmann & Holger Wick and they delivered two epic 12 inches for Djax Up in 1993 & 1994, before the project was shelved. This 12inch contains the two most legendary Acid builders Blanche and Realms Of Human Unconscious for your pleasure !

We love and release on Vinyl !

We have been dropping both tracks in every set, and boy, they go down so well and sound great on any system, even in the most remote corners of our galaxy. The cosmic energy they release is stunning! Trainspotters are lining up regularly near our decks but we have anonymized the tracks (PIS15.1, PIS15.2) so no one knows it is the forthcoming mountain people. Gosh, they have taken their time but once again it was worth the wait. Looking forward to playing these deep bass monsters many more times.”

0.9999...//READ THAT SEQUENCE LIKE A MANTRA After their successful collaboration on “<3”, AtomTM and X1N are back, this time presenting the 4 track EP “0.9”. It contains both the opening and closing tracks of “<3” as well as their corresponding mutations. While “0.9 (Almost a Unit)” was remixed by Esplendor Geométrico, “Almost a Unit (0.9)” got reworked by Peter van Hoesen. “Both renditions contribute amplified iterations of inherent attributes of <3” as X1N eloquently states. On a side note it may be mentioned that in mathematics, the expression “0.999..” is considered being identical to 1. Meditating over that very fact may tell you a lot about our current reality. #HardCodePop //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// PROXIMITY IS DESTINY DREAMS AS SEARCH ENGINES X
