Ostatni Blues EP features some of the selected remixes of tracks coming from both critically acclaimed and fan-celebrated albums by the artist who goes by the moniker Pejzaz.

The A side features two remixes of pieces taken from the 2018 release titled Ostatni Dzien Lata (The Last Day of Summer) - both of which were previously available in digital format exclusively, but will now finally be released on vinyl.
The B side contains two new takes on tracks from the 2020 release Blues, as well as one never-before-released cut from a recording session from that time.

The remixes are brought to you by some very talented young Polish producers, namely Tamten and Freux (associated with labels such as Transatlantyk and Regime), and old stagers: DJ Kurkuma (aka Jaromir Kaminski from Polena Records, the co-founder of the Ptaki duo), and Pejzaz himself.

The whole EP is keeping the nu-disco and house aesthetics.

South African House Music artist Sir LSG debuts his first album, a stunningly crafted piece of art for which he pulled together an
impressive collective of international vocalists, musicians and collaborators. Titled 'Moving Circles', the longplayer represents the concept of life seen as a journey. It highlights events of love, life, inspiration, sadness and loneliness in one big turn. Just as there's a start and an end to everything, the musical journey begins with 'Departure' and takes you through different walks of life, before getting to 'Arrival'. While South Africa has been at the forefront of a global House Music revival for many years now, Sir LSG has been tipped of as the 'one To watch' inter alia - leading industry US download-store Traxsource put him in their Top 20 African House producers of the year in 2014. Since his first single release in 2011, LSG has perfected his magical soulful and jazzy, yet clearly afro-influenced sound, now Culminating in this well rounded long-player, which took him four years to complete.
'Moving Circles' features renowned crooners like Germany's Clara Hill, Chicago's Carla Prather, UK's Joseph Junior, South Africa's new RandB sensation Ayanda Jiya and established musician Zano, all of whom sound their best and complement the beautifully crafted grooves and soundscapes. Co-produced by one of South Africa's fast-growing piano players, Thandi Ntuli, and one can feel that more first-league jazz musicians enjoyed contributing to Sir LSG's tunes.GOGO Music proudly presents this album sampler release which assuredly will be cementing Sir LSG's reputation as one of the most exciting artists on the scene. With his tasteful and innovative recombination of traditional and contemporary electronic elements, he put together a masterly crafted testament about life or as he puts it, 'The representation of people as constantly moving objects, to reach a certain destination or form, is depicted in the music, highlighting ordinary experiences - through highs and lows, we keep on moving.'

Mutual fans Sherard Ingram and Mariska Neerman join forces to present four essential tracks spanning the breadth of contemporary electro on this second release from Bleep43 Recordings. The first side sees Ingram exploring the edges of his famously unique blend of intricate yet relentless electronics, simultaneously touching on Autechre's metallic abstractions while sounding the depths of bubbling oceanic vents. Mariska answers with two tracks of melancholy machine music that embody her talent for melody and arrangement and promise to make their presence felt on dancefloors across the spectrum.

Villete aka Amsterdam based producer Anne Korteweg returns to Scissor and Thread with a brilliant new EP. Her debut 12″ ‘Girl Next Door’ was released on Scissor and Thread in the fall of 2016 and sold out quickly. Now here with the new EP Dawn is Mine, we are treated to seven tracks of understated, floating beauty. On her new release she explores the more abstract sides of electronic music. Using a variety of synthesizers, she creates rich and lush sounding structures that continuously bend and flow loosely. She finds inspiration from listening to Pauline Anna Strom, Takashi Kokubo and Actress. Opener Penrose Stairs sets the tone with gentle arpeggiated synths creating a warm, fuzzy atmosphere - a combination further explored in Midnight Arp later into the mini-album. The title track Dawn Is Mine uncovers a low bass throb mixed with dubbed out effects and textures, while Lilac emits an ethereal, woozy atmosphere, with lush pads, choral textures and blissful melodic motifs. Myst also luxuriates in hazy pads before a slo-mo groove emerges to carry the track towards the edge of the dancefloor. If Myst flirts with the idea of dancing, Show Me dives right in - an exquisite slice of deep, outsider house with a psychedelic twist. Winding the release down with Wild Things - a beat-less vignette of synths engaged in an melodic interplay of chimes and tones.

Astropolis Records brings out its 7th release, welcoming a distinguished guest from Scotland. Vince Watson, the Glasgow-based producer, chose the French melodic techno label to release Elektrik. His previous productions saw the likes of Cocoon, Planet E, Ovum, Tresor and very soon Transmit or Rebids...granting him worldwide reputation.Elektrik is a deep, emotional piece of melodious techno that can be relished at home as well as on a massive dancefloor. Dark chords,enticing bassline coupled to downy reverb progressively unfurls Vince Watson's flair, grasping the audience for a 9-minute journey to crepuscular, hypnotic and colourful universe.The B-Side highlights one of Astropolis Record's cornerstones, Frenchie techno activist Madben. Restyling Vince Watson's climb on a dancefloor-powered techno track, whirling and effusive, tenderly shady and mysterious, Madben brings the audience to an intense flickering excursion tinged with a smooth groove.

Hot on the heels of two EP releases on Bristol label Shall Not Fade, Felipe Gordon is preparing for the release of his debut album on the important UK imprint. With human contact at an absolute minimum, it's refreshing to hear an electronic music record that ventures away from the machine in favour of the organic. Gordon's ability to blend complex jazz instrumentation with acid-licked basslines, golden-age house aesthetics and the cultural sounds of South America is unrivalled; creating distinctive, beautiful and exciting house records from his home in the Colombian capital of Bogota.

"A Landscape Onomatopeya" was crafted through the concept of a painting; exploring shades, changes of tone, use of light. "I found myself making tons of music and wondering how to start an album process", he says, "something with more concept; a long journey between all the different musical influences in my head. I wanted to try to accomplish something with soul, deepness and an inherent melancholia to it. More organic, more human."

The record - which includes the Spanish word Onomatopeya as a Colombian statement and ode to the Latin American house scene - kicks off with the early evening funk of "How Do You Spell That", the distinct sugar cane sweetness of Guaro hanging in the late sunlight. "Wes" ventures into hip hop territory; dusty boom baps, 90's scratching and live guitar provoking a vibe that lies somewhere between Dilla and fellow Colombian AvenRec before the A-side reaches its climax with a cut of Gil Scott-Heron-esque funk on "She Will Come".

The B-side raises its curtain and with it comes two cuts of sublime house, each more colourful than the last. "The Colombian Excursions of House Music" does exactly what is says on the tin; fusing South American drum patterns with the creative innovation of live jazz to create a dimly lit, Latin American energy. "Momma, It's A Long Journey" maintains a more progressive vibe as it meanders through subtle acid stabs, radiant atmospherics and an oxymoronic blend of mournful, hopeful vocals.

Tape throbs and breakbeats make up the C-side as we delve deeper into Gordon's sound palette: think The Cyclist and Kaytranada, but with an Ibero-American vibe. "Howl" meanders slowly through the smoke-filled booths of a jazz cafe whilst the sounds of Detroit and Chicago shatter and break ("Away", "Das Nuyorican Vibes") over the crowd below on, before "Brazil" invites you outside for a post-dance cigarette with itsdowntempo boom-bap and mellow energy.

The record comes to its end with three D-side cuts that perfectly encapsulate its artistic vision. "Like the album itself, the artwork process was all about texture and analog treatment", he says. "We used old pentax cameras with black and white ilford rolls to achieve an intimate feeling. I found that my mind was drawn to a landscape with a house deep inside the Bogota mountains; where I hang all the time with my girlfriend and friends. It's a quiet, emotional place. Far from the city."

Wiggling basslines, vibrant shimmers and bold jazz instrumentals bring a fitting end to a truly beautiful record, and further cements Shall Not Fade's reputation as a label with its finger on the pulse of exciting dance music.

Percebes starts 2021 by releasing the label honcho’s brand new “Gestures Of Release” LP: a highly personalised universe that manages to display diversity whilst retaining a unique sense of coherence. An offering of tracks that reflect the producer’s unique take on languages he knows well: deep, crunchy disco house (“Miles Away”), dreamy downtempo (“Suave”) and mellow freestyle funk (“Membrana”). Of course there are also plenty of irresistible bumping dance floor moments of classic inspiration (“Gestures Of Release”, “Clone Forge” and the bass heavy “Time Apart”).

Guests include funk band Thunder & Co, legendary junglist producer AL:X, fellow Percebes founder Hélder Russo and Chicago new school gold medalist Andrew “Change Request” Emil. The quality in production, mixing and mastering is second to none. It’s an LP that plays and sounds as close to a maxi single as physically possible! Perfectly crafted tracks that a DJ can use on both dance floors and cooler settings alike, but also, an album that any music lover can enjoy on a proper turntable. Quoting Vito Corleone, it’s “an offer you can’t refuse”.

Detroit's Derrick Thompson is back with his Drivetrain project serving some classic Detroit House cuts by himself, Cloudmaster Weed, J.Garcia, Danny JD & LeeLively. Some real treats on this various artist release. That J.Garcia is a lush deep house winner and the b2 track ''Swinging Forest'' is a real nice dubby techno/house hybrid. Recommended!!

After massive support from MCDE, Feel my Bicep, Mike Huckerby, and many many others we are over-the-moon to be re-releasing the all-time party classic, My People - (Disco Nights Mix) released some years ago on Landed, it's high time this track was repressed, but this time switched to black vinyl and given a full side for a louder press.

Ignition has its own side too, a deep bubblin' groove typical to Jensen's native Detroit.

Guy Gerber returns to his own RUMORS label, with his first release since the success of last summer’s ‘Rumors On The Dancefloor’ EP. ‘Secret Encounters’ is a hot doubled header of two killer productions by Guy.

Guy’s RUMORS label has quickly established itself as a breeding ground for innovative and progressive techno, thanks to it’s steadily-growing catalogue of high calibre productions. ‘Secret Encounters’ is Guy’s first solo EP on RUMORS, and more than lives up to the high standard he’s set for the label.

Featuring lead track ‘Secret Encounters’ and B side ‘Full Circle’, the EP strongly channels the atmosphere that Guy aims to create at his RUMORS event series and Ibiza residency; the producer previously revealed snippets of both tracks to the public in a recorded mix live from RUMORS at Destino earlier this summer.

Despite his increasingly busy touring schedule, the ‘Secret Encounters’ EP proves Guy’s love for the studio is as strong as ever. His attention to detail shines through across both tracks, each of which fit in perfectly with the kind of dark, enigmatic house and techno that has become the hallmark of the RUMORS brand.

Constant Sound's vital Constant Black offshoot welcomes Nike Maxen for a fine debut that comes after the artist has impressed already in 2020 with EPs on Mellow, Talman and Honne Music. The sounds on offer are classy and heady, with opener 'Dogwood' pairing dreamy pads and sparse percussion with a nice rolling and dubby beat. 'Laurel' picks up the pace but remains supremely smooth, and 'Willow' again gets you even more upright with its punchy kicks, but the languid pads keep things deep. Closer 'Whitebeam' is an icy cool tech house number with heady loops and superb bass warmth. This is another functional but characterful offering from this label.

'Hushees' on the same side is a remix from the original and has a more straightforward beat and prominent bassline. The flip sees a remix by the Koomba project ( Reggie Dokes and Scott Ferguson). In January 1985 The Beloved emerged via a John Peel session (Produced by a very young Mark Radcliffe). They had a second session broadcast in October and didn't release their first single, A Hundred Words, until early 1986.
On the independent Flim Flam label they released a further 3 singles/eps , later compiled as an album, Where It Is.
By autumn 1987 they had slimmed down from 4-piece to the original founding duo of Jon Marsh & Steve Waddington.
Jon went to NY to pursue some label interest, meet some heroes - Mantronik, Latin Rascals.
& came back with a record box full of early house cuts. Within weeks he was tipped off by a friend about a semi-secret party in a gymnasium in Bermondsey. He went searching and found Shoom.
Having already shared the record box with Steve he took him to the club within a few weeks, knowing full well he would be equally enthused/entranced!
Having just been signed to WEA , notionally as a poster-fodder pop group, the band experienced a seismic shift in direction. Their first attempt , Acid Love, was on promo 12' within months. Their second house track was Your Love Takes Me Higher, first released in early 1989 with great club support but zero radio play.
The third was Sun Rising, late summer that year which became their first hit single.
The album, Happiness, a distillation of the fun & optimism & energy of the 88/89 (acid) house scene was released in 1990 to great acclaim and YLTMH even got a second release and just scraped into the top 40 at #39!
A remix album, Blissed Out, was released In autumn 1990, with a new recording It's Alright Now as a single.
Awoke is the most complete track from their last collaborative sessions.
Jon continued recording as The Beloved with his wife Helena as co-writer/co-producer.
Their first release in early 1993 was the single Sweet Harmony which was a major hit record worldwide.
Both single and the accompanying album Conscience were their biggest selling releases.
A further album X, with the single Satellite arrived in 1996.
A re-released Sun Rising and a best-of, Single File in 1997.
Then silence.
Remixes as The Beloved, several releases under different names (on Junior Boys Own, & NRK), and a full time dj career until 2005/6.
Still silence.
'I can't split up with myself so i think of it as hibernation' says Jon.
Until now. Music that is both old & new.

Turbo Recordings is humbled to present this lovingly rendered reissue of Neutron 9000’s lost ambient trance classic. Composed and recorded at London’s Orinoco Studios in 1994 by Dominic Woosey, Lady Burning Sky was originally released on the legendary UK label Rising High.

Turbo prides itself on living in the moment and fighting for the future, and this rare excursion into the past is arguably the most forward-looking release of the next five years.

Carefully remastered by Bo Kondren from the original master DATs and spread over three 140g vinyl discs, housed in a beautiful gatefold sleeve with liner notes from Tiga and Neutron 9000 narrating the story of how this beautiful record came about.
