The parisian club was shut down during summer 2018 but its spirit continues with Motordiscs: Putting artists together and promoting independant electronic music has always been the credo and is now continuing on records.

Just in time for summer, and another huge season of gigs across the world, Maceo Plex returns to his own Ellum Audio with a sure to be huge new single.

This is Maceo’s first outing since his excellent Mutant Robotics release in 2018, but in the months since he has continued to be a leading light in the global house and techno scene. A spellbinding performer who takes the crowd into another dimension, the Spanish based American is just as adventurous in the
studio and once again casts another magical spell with this new EP.

‘When The Lights Are Out’ is a ready-made anthem that serves up a seven-minute techno trip of the highest order. It is deep and masterfully melodic, of course, with slick drums setting an inviting mid-tempo pace and the melancholic chords adding lasting emotion to the groove. A heartfelt female
vocal is the centrepiece that will get hands in the air this summer and ensure this record stays firmly lodges in record boxes worldwide.

Next to an instrumental, there is a Late Night Mix that is more driving and electrifying, with glossy synths shining bright in the expansive skies above the drums.

This is the sound of a melodic techno master at work and is another landmark release for both artist and label.

Stopouts, the legendary duo of Andy Panayi and Alec Stone meet A Colourful Storm's own Klon Dump for a killer split 12". "Ahead Of Us", originally recorded for the infamous Groovepressure label has gained support from the likes of James Zabiela to the Treatment crew since its inception in 2002. Klon Dump, last seen on No Corner with an ambient tape, returns to A Colourful Storm with a futuristic technoid monster. For fans of Autechre, Dimbiman, Klon Dump.

After appearing on labels such as Neo Violence and Nerang, DJ Safeword steps up for his debut EP on Infinite Pleasure. Straight from the dungeon into your ears, he delivers three tracks that will have you screaming for more. Jamie Jones joins forces with New York's David Berrie for an electrifying two track release on Hot Creations. Doctor Zouk is the result of a friendship spanning many years, and is set to be unleashed this Autumn.

Title track Doctor Zouk is a bumpy, chuggy roller with a prominent percussive break and heady tribal undertone. Future Society uses thumping drum pads over a growling bassline with unmistakable high hats weaved together over futuristic synths.

Jamie Jones is one of the industry's most in demand and recognised DJs. He heads up one of Ibiza's most treasured parties, Paradise at DC10, and now takes it to all corners of the globe. His revered Hot Creations imprint has put out more than one hundred releases as well as playing a major part in launching the careers of Patrick Topping, Richy Ahmed and Detlef.

Spending his formative years in New York, sneaking into the city's diverse and flamboyant nightclubs and heavily influenced by a broad spectrum of genres, it wasn't long before David Berrie took to the turntables. He released on Jones' Hottrax label last year and has had a number of releases on Nervous and Monique Sp é ciale. He commands regular slots at BPM festival as well as at the Paradise nights.

Following on from last year's Bump It EP, Sammy W Tobus join musical
forces once again, this time with a fiery three-part offering for Hot Creations.
Acid Terrace opens the EP - a rumbling roller that cuts a fierce groove
complimented by intriguing vocal samples. Shake It plunges in full power with its
heavy-hitting bassline and rhythmic beat. Closing the package, Jam Tight is a funky
number that chops and blends vocals alongside pads, adding classic house
elements that create a solid, dancefloor burner.

The pairing of Sammy W & Tobus first came to our attention back in 2011. Their
fresh approach to DJ sets has garnered support from some of the scene's top DJs.
They seamlessly blend and blur the lines between genres, creating their own sound
using elements of tech-house, funk and hip-hop. They've released music on 8bit,
Repopulate Mars, Roush, Mr. Nice Guy, Brock Wild, as well as running their own
labels Tobus X and Tobus Limited.

Chambre Noire Records is a new label out of Montreal, managed by Peter Bunzinelli. It is the continuation of a mix series and a radio show on N10.AS, active since 2017. For its very first release, it features Puma & The Dolphin’s debut record, the Primitive EP, including a remix by Michal Turtle. P&TD is a Bulgarian producer based in Sofia. The Primitive EP focuses on firedance grooves, exotic percussion along with a dub and post-punk approach.
A1 - Jungle Futura The EP open With this wild chugger. Layering jungle sounds with loose hand percussion, the mood is at the crossroads between Latin and oriental influences. As the track progresses, the rhythmic section is enriched by skippy snares and a variety of vocal samples, sweeps, and melodies, with undeniable firedance-inducing results. A2 - Camel in Dub
Darker and more synthetic in some regards, this track is closely aligned to the post-punk paradigm with its bass guitar and Linn Drum groove, and dub techniques skillfully used by the producer to create a rather psychedelic mise en scène. After laying down the foundations of this plodding rhythm, satellite voices, rhythmic and melodic elements follow one another, taking the dancer on a real trip. A3 - The Dress With vocal samples and a bass guitar at the forefront interspersed with minimalist but highly efficient rhythmic elements, melodies and other bleeps & bloops engaged in ear-catching interplay, there is something loose, sensual and slightly hazy about this track. B1 - Cobra Dance Taking a similar yet slightly different approach to the post-punk sound of previous tracks, this tune features a catchy bassline and groovy percussion of a rather Latin persuasion, alternating between vocal samples, melodic elements, and rhythmic phrases. In a sense, this track is reminiscent of the spirit of Martin Hannett’s work with ESG, that is to say, groovy dance music that feels like the opposite of synthetic.
B2 - The Dress (Michal Turtle Remix) Highly-esteemed British producer Michal Turtle’s remix of The Dress is a stunner. Stripping the track down to its primordial elements and treating sounds in dramatic and psychedelic fashion creates a very mystical and trippy feeling all over the remix which feels eminently balearic but with a unique twist. Light footed and dreamy on one hand, groovy as hell and impossible not to dance to on the other, this is probably what dancing on clouds feels like.

The smash new Double A Side 12” single from Louie Vega features “Cosmic Witch” and “A Place Where We Can All Be Free,” and is the first single from Louie’s forthcoming “Expansions In The NYC” album.

In this album the world renowned “Maestro” will be putting his distinct touch to the House Music Genre which he has been instrumental in defining through his work as a solo artist and as one half of Masters At Work. The album will include selections that represent the many musical movements on which the House Music genre has evolved right up to the current time. Louie has a few special guests in mind to join him on the album as well, all of which will create unique collaborations that will launch the project into an area of worldwide interest. As one of the world’s longest independent dance labels, Nervous is well suited to present this momentous project.

The “Vega” side includes “Cosmic Witch", a disco-infused house jam on which Vega puts a masterful touch using a clever sample from the 1976 “Cosmic Lady” by Tony Silvester & The New Ingredient, combining his percussion and synths with a hypnotic vocal performance from Anané. As quoted by Vega previously, "I call Anané a chameleon, because she transcends so many different sounds with her voice.” Special thanks to Natasha Kitty Kat for the track inspiration.

The “Nervous” side features “A Place Where We Can All Be Free,” on which Vega works with longtime collaborators Axel Tosca and Gene Perez to create the perfect jam session that is guaranteed to blow up dancefloors worldwide. The trio created 6 minutes of pure and authentic house music featuring Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer Electric Piano, Synth Bass, Electric Bass instruments.

Volupso returns with it's 8th release courtesy of Luminer & Topper. Luminer are part of We Play The Music We Love organization based in Turin and have graced the booth with many a great name. Here they provide their production skills with two original tracks with Topper adding some Schoolbus touches to the remix of Nightware.

Dutch Techno master Orlando Voorn has opened up his archive for the second essential instalment of an ongoing artist focused series brought to you by new imprint Above Board Projects. The compilation will be spread across 2 double 12" volumes and will feature tracks from many of Voorn's pseudonyms including; Fix, Baruka, The Ghetto Brothers, Mute & many more. We are proud to introduce the first of a 2-part archival collection entitled 'Diligence'. Each track featured on the compilation has been carefully selected and programmed in conjunction with Orlando Voorn and the Above Board Projects team. Voorn has an extremely long and storied career in making music and is severely underrated as a producer in our humble opinion. His DJ skills are, of course, legendary, with him winning the prestigious DMC mixing championships in 1986 in his native Holland and making a career as one of the country's leading Hip-Hop DJ's. As a producer he has long been linked to numerous legendary producers and releases, counting labels such as Fragile, Metroplex and more as homes for his output. His association and collaborations with Detroit have been the stuff of legend since day one and some of the music contained within these compilations celebrate that while showcasing some of the more overlooked tracks from the man's more than extensive catalogue. Part 2 opens with the minimalistic bladerunner Techno of Voorn & Juan Atkins' Infiniti classic 'Game One', a true modern classic, also featured is the rolling, paranoia inducing late night groove of 'Dream World' from one of Voorn's more obscure projects Complex, all showcasing a wide variety of styles and sounds. Flawless selections from the early 90's sitting alongside later productions only go to show how diverse and talented an artist Voorn is and how fresh and vital his music still is today. From Far Out Recordings’ in-house producer, Daniel Maunick’s debut solo album Macumba Quebrada conjures scenes of collective hedonism from start to finish. Spanning Afro-Brazilian spiritual dance ceremonies, late-eighties Detroit techno parties and jungle and broken beat raves in nineties London, Maunick celebrates our instinctive, age-old desire to come together and lose our sense of self.

Daniel Maunick practically grew up behind the mixing desk. As the son of Brit-funk legend Jean-Paul ‘Bluey’ Maunick (of Incognito fame), he found himself immersed in music from an early age, and quickly became involved in London’s drum n’ bass, acid-jazz, house, broken beat and soul scenes, releasing his first production at the age of sixteen on Gilles Peterson and Norman Jay’s Talkin’ Loud label. Since then, he has produced albums by the likes of Azymuth, Marcos Valle, Terry Callier, Incognito, Ivan ‘Mamao’ Conti and Sabrina Malheiros.

Reflecting his dual residence between Rio de Janeiro and East London, Macumba Quebrada features deep house stompers and broken bangers littered with Brazilian rhythms - in the form of both dusty percussion and Maunick’s intricate drum programming. But the album sees Daniel draw inspiration from across the black music continuum, and the rich histories of communal celebration in Detroit techno, Chicago house, London D’n’B and New York disco. Bringing all this together in explosive peak-time club tracks, moments of eerie ambience, South American swing and tribal earthiness, Macumba Quebrada expands on Maunick’s recent vinyl-only EPs ‘A Vicious Circle’ and ‘Sombra Do Dragao’, with a 13-track double LP and 14-track CD and digital release.

Taking its title from a syncretism of South American spiritual practices, the cover art is photograph taken by acclaimed French photographer and self-taught ethnographer Pierre Verger, who travelled the world documenting civilizations that would soon be effaced by progress. Settling for good in Salvador, Brazil, Verger became initiated into the Candomblé religion, eventually officiating rituals and ceremonies within the community. Without having become an ordained priest, Daniel Maunick shares both Verger and Far Out Recordings’ love for Brazil: its people, its culture and its music.

King Britt appears as Sraddha for the second release on Rekids offshoot
Stranger In The Night entitled ‘Believe EP’, following a notable debut release
from Radio Slave.

King Britt, of course, is a long-time house head who brings his Philly roots and a
real sense of musical soul to his timeless and feel good grooves. Here he
introduces Sraddha on four fantastic new cuts that ooze quality from start to finish.
Fantastic opener ‘Believe’ is a shimmering house cut with well treated vocals that
bring an eerie quality to the warm, deep drums. The ‘No Drums’ version is an
intimate bit of late-night mood-setting that creates a dreamy ambiance.

The excellent ‘Memories’ is perfectly off-balance deep house, with live sounding
drums and gorgeous synth puddles, deft leads and a romantic feel that is perfect
for cosy dance floors. Last of all, the gorgeous ‘You’re All I Need’ sinks you into a
reverie over eight soft-focus minutes of persuasive hand claps and withering
chords, subtle sci-fi motifs and plenty of real musicality that is often all too rare in
modern house music.

Once again King Britt’s unique sense of class really shines through on these most
authentic and soulful house tracks.

Amsterdam based Luuk van Dijk is welcomed into the Hot Creations fold this July with his heavy-hitting Parallax E.P. Chicago production wizard DJ Skull is also on board to rework the B-side.

Title track Parallax is set to cause a serious stir at festivals and clubs alike this summer. The smattering of high-hats elevate the track as the space-like beeps and blips add another facet. On the flip, Dimension applies an ominous vocal stab as the bass rumbles perfect for low ceiling basement raves. On the remix, DJ Skull adds a touch of Chicago class via some softer vocals, dubby chords and a pounding bass. At the tender age of 22, Luuk van Dijk has been signed to acclaimed labels such as VIVa Music, Roush, Food Music, Sanity and Lost Records. Championed by stalwarts such as Steve Lawler and Eats Everything, he has taken his sound to some of the world's most prestigious events.

Ron Maney aka DJ Skull became known for being one of the first DJs to play the new sound coming out of Chicago, honing his craft at the infamous Music Box and Power Plant. Releasing records since the early 90s, he later launched his own labels Hypnotic Tones and Wax Candy Records. Recent releases have appeared on Chiwax, Domina Trxxx and Mentha Records.

London duo Damian Daley & Danny Dixon aka OdD return to FUSE sister label Infuse to follow up their breakthrough Cold Fusion EP with a four-track EP titled 'Tones Of The 90s'.

Lead track 'Tones Of The 90's' brings together the core elements of the London underground scene. Snappy hi-hats combine with subtle tones and garage-like vocal samples and plenty of bass. A2 'Phone Home' starts with the famous ET sample. Once again it's the snappy hi-hats that take centre stage, working alongside a well-programmed loop that bubbles throughout underneath the surface.

On the flip, loopy drum patterns dominate B1 'Yes Yes' before the EP comes to an end with the pick of the bunch 'Pressure'. Low-end frequencies combine with a dreamy synth line, signing off the release in typical Infuse style.

Fast-rising Balcan newcomer Reblok presents his scintillating Hot Creations debut single Smile, released this October on the acclaimed label. The fist-pumping groove of Smile opens the release, driving hi-hats are introduced, bounding into anthemic pop-rap vocals, alongside playful keys that add colour to ignite the dance floor. On Roots the sense of fun is continued, snare-rolls combine with mouth-watering filtered synth and springy samples, creating a heads-down, hands up tool. Originally from Croatia but now residing in Serbia, Goran Paradinja also known as Reblok is one of the best newcomers to the scene. He has released an already impressive back catalogue of music on some of the biggest labels including Elrow, Viva Music, Suara, Toolroom, Repopulate Mars, Sola, Abode, Stereo Productions and Material. As well as recently touring across the globe in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Germany and the Czech Republic, his music has been played by some of the most respected DJs such as Jamie Jones, Steve Lawler, Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers and Seth Troxler. The rapid rate in which Reblok’s career is growing looks set to continue as the world discovers his incredible productions and DJ sets.

It's a strange new post-everything musical landscape we occupy.
The machines - you could argue - have been playing the humans for some time, and the conversation became pretty one-sided.
But you know, not everyone is singing from that hymn sheet. That Man Monkz enjoyed the apprenticeship at House PLC more than the opportunity to progress to middle management. Itchy musical feet meant extended exploration of fertile avenues of interest like the Madison Washington & Pan Amsterdam Hip Hop projects, meanwhile the pull of the 4/4 was never far from the studio door, and all accomplished with an assured versatility that shines.
Musical alliances formed in the disparate but related playgrounds of Detroit, Sheffield, Berkeley and Atlanta, all underpinned by an emphasis on seeking out collaborations and gigs, which represented a real exchange of energies, rather than a bank raid.
Letting things percolate in this more measured way means we've arrived here, a follow up of sorts to 2016's 'Columbusing'
This is Monkz allowing the ear ringing of gigs to feedback organically into bright dance floor flashes, which by virtue of their careful crafting are destined to last much longer.
On Zero Sum, we get a much greater economy of elements on the pared down dance floor ammo like 'Freaks N Prophets' & 'Chai Tea', a perfect counterpoint to beautifully realised pieces like 'Them Thangs feat Ms Fae' & 'After Dark with Nikki O' interspersed with funk-heavy workouts and sample jams like 'Easy Still', 'LvnLmtd' & the unashamedly KDJ influenced shamanism of 'WhatUthinkIDo'
It's a pick 'em and stick 'em ride of individual gems and a cohesive whole too. The opposite of thrown together, this has been worked and weathered, naturally. The House always wins, but sometimes...just sometimes.

Future second-hand 5€ bin EP by swedish born Adam Strömstedt who resides in Sydney, Australia. Very much a pleasure. Adam has been turning heads in Scandinavia and beyond since 2007 from the launch of the Red Balloon summer parties in Stockholm and his strong affiliation with Junk Yard Connections and Banoffee Pies Records, his own Lyssna Records and more recently Stockholm based Bossmusik and Brisbane label Buxton Records.

In late 1997, unsigned Melbourne producer Castel won a competition at a local club. The prize was certainly sought-after: a CD single release on leading local label DanceNet. That EP, “Estrel”, subsequently appeared in stores in 1998, but within two years Castel had packed away his Atari-ST, sold off his hardware and quit music for good.

Thanks to Echovolt Records, Castel’s story now has a happier ending. 22 years after it was recorded, the unfeasibly gorgeous “Estrel” is finally appearing on vinyl alongside original bonus cut “Me & You” and a trio of similarly impressive unreleased productions from the period.

“Estrel” is positivity personified – a melodious, morning-fresh blast of deep electro bliss rich in bustling drums, tuneful IDM style lead lines and darting, psychedelic electronics. It’s joined on side A by “Me & You”, a pitched-down chunk of hazy ‘90s electronica that wouldn’t have sounded out of place on one of Warp Records’ legendary Artificial Intelligence compilations.

On side B, Castel opens up his archive of unreleased recordings for the very first time. The rush-inducing, bass-heavy swirl of “Safer Somewhere” – one of the last tracks he ever recorded and reminiscent of some B12 recordings from the period – is followed by the intergalactic ambient brilliance of “Latch” and the lilting, sun-bright bliss of breakbeat-driven shuffler “16/11/1998”, whose combination of weighty bottom-end and layered electronics neatly sums up the unheralded qualities of Castel’s previously forgotten work.

4 sublime electronic cuts from Bokhari mainstay Stephen Lopkin and label newcomer Donnara spanning Techno, Electro and Ambient.
As always Lopkin is 100% on point with his opener, the Detroit influenced, tom driven, driving techno banger 'McStay The Maestro'.
Minimal piece 'Ignorance and Want' follows...a dark swirling adventure through the sonic spectrum with a heavy a rolling bassline at the foundation, plus rolling sub, and white noise blips.

On the flip, we are honoured to welcome Donarra to the Bokhari stable with two beautifully crafted cuts.
'Frequences Test' is a is a low flying electro outing a la vintage Drexciya with a dark cinematic feel, conjuring up visions of gliding through an empty dystopian future city landscape on a planet far from home.
Donnara closes the EP with his beautiful and delicate ambient composition Юлия. A light rain falls as the arpeggiated marimbas creep in and the subtle strings float above caressing the ears, relaxing the mind.

No Fuss Records returns with the 2nd release in their vinyl series with another quality 3 tracker. On the 2nd outing we see the likes of veteran producer Crispin J Glover, Dean Zepherin & label owners Saison. A1 is a remix of Crispin's "The Long Goodbye" from Saison. The duo offer their trademark sound of bumpy beats and jazzy riffs. A2 is Crispin's "Prospect Place". A song that travels through the deeper, darker, and disco sides of House. B3 sees the likes of Dean Zepherin's "Betty" classic feel good House Music at its best.

Big with Maya Jane Coles, Round Table Knights, Homework, Claude Von Stroke, Robert Owens, Wildkats, Nhan Solo, Shir Khan,..Berlin-based Robosonic welcome the springtime with their first OFF EP. "Worst Love" uses an anthemic sample to create a groovy dancefloor burner with tight groove. Doctor Dru delivers a contemporary underground pop remix. Fritz Zander from the Suol collective made a "Panorama Bar 9 am"-styled remix for the real house-heads. And with "Thankful", Robosonic give us a 2nd original track, slightly more toolish than Worst Love.

From the green hills of Albania to the back rooms of New York City, Sworn Virgins bring the light. A strangers hand on your shoulder, bright red painted finger nails scratching your thigh, all those beautiful things that made you leave that small town you came from. While Robosonic's extraordinary OFF debut - Worst Love' was paying homage to a specific underground rap record by the Dilated Peoples (actually without sampling the record itself), the follow-up now takes it way over the edge: consciously, of sound mind. Since their early vinyl bootlegs (2005) under various aliases and their critically acclaimed first album as Robosonic (2007), Cord and Sacha incorporate a certain sense of irony into their undisputed world class production work. For their next episode on OFF, the boys cut slices of hiphop sample history and flipped them into seriously soulful house music joints. Functional arrangements with plenty of musical references to golden eras and past times create the emotional depth of Robosonic's modern - hi-tech soul'.

- OVER' with its intimate feel seems less obvious than the famous hookline of - THE EDGE'. In fact Dr. Dre was not the first beatmaker to cook it up, so Robosonic probably aren't the last either. They just do what they like doing best. Funnily enough our praised creators anticipate critics and let Talib do the talking: - These cats ain't real.'

As the title suggests 'On Flute' shows us how diverse Tenderlonious's musicianship is as he embellishes each song with his signature flute sound. 'Ghana' sets the pace of the record with up-tempo afro beats, complimented by keys, strings, a distinctive lead synth and of course a soaring flute solo. 'Autumn Leaves' follows with a more UK broken-beat flavour, revealing a darker sense of atmosphere. Side A closes with 'Oedo Bushi,' a comparatively stripped back tune, a simple conga rhythm with flute and xylophone solos weaving in and out as if in conversation with each other.

Side B starts strong and steady with 'Song For My Father', an upbeat number fusing funk and disco to create the perfect dance floor filler that builds to a climax with one of Tenderlonious's wild flute solos (one of my personal favourites!). 'In A Sentimental Mood' follows and, as the title suggests, shows the listener how this producer came by his name. Tender flute inflections and sensitive lead synths, backed by quiet whispers make this the perfect accompaniment to an intimate candle lit dinner. The EP finishes with 'Dale's Corner,' another broken feel on this one with delayed Rhodes supported by tasteful flute lines throughout - it leaves the listener feeling uplifted and wanting more.

Terrence Parker (known to many as "TP") born and raised in Detroit, has become legendary for his quite uncommon yet skillful turntablism style of playing House Music. TP has also become widely admired because he uses an actual telephone handset as headphones. Terrence has performed as a DJ in 40 countries throughout the world and has released more than 100 recordings on his Intangible Records label and various labels including Sony, Defected, Nervous, Kingstreet, and Purple Music.
Terrence has top 20 hits with his songs "Love's Got Me High", "The Question" and albums like 'Life On The Back 9' and "Detroit After Dark". Terrence is also making his mark as a techno producer with his 'Alarm The Sound' track topping the 2016 Traxsource Top 200 Techno Singles chart at Number # 3.
'GOD Loves Detroit' is Terrence Parker's new album due for release June 30th on Planet E Communications (Detroit). This new album features TP collaborations with Coco Street, and additional projects with Merachka (who co-produced, co-wrote, and sings on the first single entitled 'Don't Waste Another Minute' which also features a remix by London's As I Am) released in February 2016.

Ander B's music is increasingly abstract, profound and packed with rhythmic trances.

The sounds he creates are based on classic house, which he melds with thick layers of Detroit and Chicago House. 'The Black Sun' is his second 12" for Czech label Beef Records, following the Delano Smith + Petre Inspirescu supported 'Outta Space' EP in 2016.

Rising star Cody Currie's first solo EP on House of Disco Records is here at last and it does not disappoint!

Four slices of scintillating, disco-tinged house, heavy on the modulating synths and dynamic basslines, tied together with soulful samples and crisp percussion.

At times you can hear influences of Todd Terje, at others there's hints of Max Graef and Glenn Astro - yet all with that special Cody Currie flavour, containing an energy, assurance and intrigue that's cementing him as one of the most exciting young producers around.

Before an upcoming album in 2020 on Heavenly Sweetness, Mama is the first single. A track in which the balafon’s woody resonance, the meditative flute and the female choruses return to the Creole roots of David, recall the memory of his Caribbean grandfather exiled to New York but, above all, a title dedicated to his grandmother, who after the last soaring electro-disco, she comes to declaim the text on the ultimate measures. David Walters will have thought of it, conceived and realized in close collaboration with Patchworks. Then, in the wake of the single Mama released in the month of each of them took the title, isolated himself in the studio with instruments and machines to come out only with a total reinterpretation, but especially personal, of the title. Hammering bass drum and snare drum bursts, David has entrusted the direction of operations to the rhythmic, and it is one after the other that digital elements were invited to transform the original maternal softness into a boiling soundsystem. Synths their strings on the hum of the bass, the hypnotic power of the riddim remains.
Two remixes, two atmospheres. The Patchworks scene is set in a jazz-funk setting, an heritage from Roy Ayers and Lonnie Liston Smith. Powerful drum, enrobing bass, the Fender Rhodes becomes a soloist, motivated by this irrepressible groove, first become a soloist. And that the meshes leave the hands of the balafon player to pass in those of the vibraphonist.

Finally, Sound Of Vast's first release in 2016. Good news for many people as it the initial release of "Higher" sold way too fast. There's been some a huge deman for us to bring it back - so we decided to repress it again, this time with a twist... Soichi Terada Remix! With this re-issued version of EP, we show the identity of the "Unknown Artist", as someone already guessed he is the The People In Fog aka DJ Sodeyama, who released "Deep EP" in 2014 on Sound Of Vast. By The People In Fog project - he shows his 90s old school house side which he raised with. As this release containing not only the original version of 'Higher', but also includes melodic and dreamy remix made by the Japanese house renaissance "Soichi Terada", and "Dub Mix" from The People In Fog with a bit modern groove, this EP can be satisfied any kind of mood on the dance floor. The powerful of vocal from an killer 90s tune, and well-crafted beat production from each legendary house artists, this EP definitely has the energy to bring people in the higher lever of dance.
