Aaron Arce is a composer, keyboardist, producer and dj raised in Boyle Hights, East of Los Angeles.
His attraction to House music came in 1985. Since then Aaron produced arranged and remixed several titles for MCA, Capital Records and different independent labels, also under the alias A-Factor.
During the early 90's the local labels lack of interest in house music motivated him to start his own label, Dub-A-Records.
Noiz Ep originally came out in 1996, and it's still definitely a strong record thanks to Aaron's skills in creating and producing quality house grooves.

Six songs, one sound signature, one vision. Supreme Beats Series by Drei Farben House is an album
that firmly stands in the tradition of the big records of the disco era: a vinyl disc full of kicks and licks,
just as much as two sides in amazing sound quality can hold.
The album is the latest work of Michael Siegle, the Berlin-based producer and owner of Tenderpark
Records. 13 years after Drei Farben House's first full-length on the acclaimed Force Tracks label, it
features contributions by singer and songwriter Mavin and none other than Robert Owens who's voice
shaped house music forever. The trademark sonic elegance of Drei Farben House blends perfectly
with the timbre of the man behind Fingers Inc.'s Mysteries Of Love. Siegle's work as a producer is not
so much about turning this rich heritage upside down, but about refining it and creating a space within
that realm that's very much his own.
The title of the opening song with Owens states it: I’m Remaining Here. And Supreme Beats Series
invites you to come over and stay there, too, in a refuge of class and funkiness. The record offers
dense layers of rhythm, vintage keyboard sounds, chucking guitar, and vocal samples that indulge in a
many-voiced conversation. Not to forget the prominent, singing rather than walking bass lines
performed by the hands of Michael Siegle himself with his bass guitar.

New Release Information
You could think of Supreme Beats Series as a cross-section in time and space. It allows you to take a
closer look at the here and now of a much bigger picture, both aesthetically and socially. Siegle uses
the vocabulary of house music in a way that transcends its conception as merely a genre and speaks
of the historic evolution and the profound roots of this music as a movement. His record takes
inspiration from 60s Motown hits as well as the blue eyed soul of the 80s, you can discover influences
ranging from Philly's pre-disco craze to new jack swing and on to the heyday when house-pop divas
stormed the charts. By drawing these lines, Siegle deliberately opens up the space of a visionary
Soulpop Continuum.
In the 1950s, the American issue of Vogue magazine had their say about Coco Chanel's work and its
ever-lasting impression on fashion and design. They claimed it was all about “infinite variety within
narrow limits,“ and meant that as a compliment, of course. Michael Siegle likes to think about Drei
Farben House in a similar way. And you should, too.

As far as the cover artwork of 'Supreme Beats Series‘ is concerned, the release of Drei Farben
House’s new album shows the second part of an image series which has been started with TDPR
release # 021 and which revolves around architectural photos taken by Achim Valbracht. Tenderpark
art director Till Sperrle and photographer Achim Valbracht like these pictures of various commercial
buildings erected in Berlin in the 1990s to be seen as a critique of investor-driven architecture which
has been dominating Berlin for several decades now.
The fascination of these pictures lies in their ambivalence of staging a normalised and globally
standardised kind of beauty, but at the same time revealing a strong sense of isolation - noticeable not
only but also in the absence of human beings. This new series of images is to some extent a
continuation of art director Till Sperrle's and label manager Michael Siegle’s interest in architectural
photography. However, at the same time the photo series also embodies a new angle on the subject
since all previous picture series on Tenderpark had been an affirmation of socially progressive
architecture which expressed a longing for socio-cultural utopia.

We could wax lyrical for days about the music of Ewan Jansen but we’ll leave that for the blog sites and Reddit message boards whose pages his name regularly graces. The Australian producer responsible for seminal 90’s label Red Ember could be seen as an unwitting progenitor of the now well established and flourishing Australian House music scene and his vinyl releases have become highly sought after and frequently exchange hands for triple figures. Appearances on other legendary labels such as Mike Grant’s Moods & Grooves (who released Ewan’s Blueline Summer LP in 2005) and Chez Damier’s Inner Balance. In 2016 Ewan brought Red Ember out of hiatus releasing some solo material that sounded fresher than ever, continuing to push his raw yet musical, authentic house sound. Cut to the start of this year and Jimpster is flicking through Instagram when he stumbles upon a short clip of some work in progress on Ewan’s
profile. Transfixed by the vibe, he contacts Ewan to offer a release on Freerange and we’re now super-proud to present you with the Perfect Strangers EP. Four original tracks showcase Ewan’s impeccable attention to detail in the grooves, sounds and production. With the uptempo, afro-tinged synth jam of Take U Away and the more crunchy, minimal bounce of Logarithm, we find Ewan in pure dance floor mode on the A side. Flipping over we’re treated to Chika Kozo, a rolling groove with an emotive vibe, perfect for a late-night drive through the urban metropolis. Closing out
the EP things get more intimate and introspective on title track Perfect Strangers. Layers of warm pads build upon a punchy house groove whilst a filtered Moog bassline keeps the momentum and brings the low-end energy to the track. Overall Ewan’s sound melds together many sonic worlds, bringing to mind early Morgan Geist, elements of Warren ‘Hanna’ Harris, Black Dog, ART and early 90’s IDM, all put together with love and skill by a master of his trade. Ibiza terrace vibes come in the form of a remix from Lee Burridge and Lost Desert which recently lead to an avalanche of emails and texts to us begging for a copy after it's inclusion on Lee's Radio 1 Essential mix.
Well, here it is for you lucky chosen few. The full package also includes the original from M.I.G. which has a more gentle vibe to it and a remix from Funk D'Void.

The eight chapter of the infamous Slow Motion Compilation series, “Italian Dance Wave Disco Otto”, has quite some hidden gems to be discovered. Beginning with a track from Marcello Giordani DJ (half of the duo Marvin & Guy), that expresses a perfect Italian melancholic sunset (as the title also states), energetic, strong, but always poetic. Always following that "beachy" vibes we find The Caribbean House, serving a track that could last a century, and we would never mind. Electro hints mixing with deep and balearic vibes: ears glued to the headphones. Moreover, we have again Slow Motion queen, System Olympia with a track that could make even nuns sweat on the dancefloor: beats and bass to die for. To close this chapter, you can pamper your ears with a angry balearic track from Gallo, not suited for the more weak hearts, that’s for sure.

After excellent remixes for Kalyma (connected 006) and Terranova (connected 004) Aaaron releases his own EP on connected.
Closely associated with Rampa, Kalyma and Florian Busse, amongst other Minimal Deep/Tech house explorers, Aaaron started collecting & playing Vinyl at the age of 15. One Year later he bought his first sampler and started producing. Moving to Berlin in 2003 expanded his knowledge to electronic dance music. Berlin was start- of-the-art for genres like House & Minimal Techno back in these days. In 2013 Aaaron released "Feelin this", his highest selling single so far which was released on Defected Records and was played & gained broad support from Jamies Jones, MK, Hot Since 82, Claptone, Tensnake, Waifs & Strays, Rampa, Re.You and many more. After this,he released in 2014 "Splendid" on Get Physical Music followed by another cutting-edge Ep for Defected Records named "What makes you itch". In 2015 he released "Whatcha Say" on Jena`s Fatplastics Label which Sven Va¨th included in his "Sound of the 16th Season" Ibiza Compilation.

A new project from two anonymous Aussie Veterans. Melbourne's smouldering underground turns up two untitled cuts from BAD CHANNEL, named for the faulty mixing console they were produced on, with a cheeky nod to Mark and Moritz. Organic late night tracks, soulful and dub wise. They passed Bradley Zero's litmus test, so now they come to you cut deep on Rhythm Section's twilight sister imprint INTERNATIONAL BLACK.

The A-side keeps it spacious, a relentless stepper for the early hours.
Side B is music for autobahns, starlight soul for the post-club cruisers.

Will Saul and Tee Mango continue the Primitive Trust EP series with their third release. 'Little Love EP' is a blissful 3 track package featuring a Floorplan remix. 'Little Love' builds warm harmonies driven by syncopated bass grooves whilst Tee Mango's Dub of 'Tejon' heads for the sun with radiant, shuffling chords. For the remix, Floorplan delivers unrestrained rapture on a peak time roller full of cathartic vocal bursts.

It's the big 5! Berlin - Frankfurt based label House Is OK is celebrating its five-year long presence and has decided to mark that period with something special Label's story started with a sticker Homeboy printed in his former hometown, Zagreb, saying House Is OK'. Catchy, right It became an underground slogan of the local scene. It didn't take long for people to embrace the idea stating that it's OK to be into melodic, fresh, groovy yet, at times, a bit awkward dance music.
Just around the same time Homeboy's Frankfurt based bro's Oliver Achatz and Janis played with the idea of starting a record label. Guess what the logical choice for the name was
Ten records, dozens of original songs and remixes later House is OK continues to grow.
Literally. What was once a platform for the original three founders is now an international family affair supporting the talented artists from Frankfurt, Stockholm, Alexandria and Orlando. Nurturing the friendly approach this musical family continues to grow.
Looking back at the first five years, not only at the music that connected them all but at the bonds that deepened through the production process, House is OK crew wanted to take
create a proper reminder and thank the ones supporting them throughout the years. A double 12' pack titled Gemišt' seemed like a proper way to do that.
- Gemišt will be released as two separate EPs featuring the original music from Kornél Kovacs, Roman Flügel, Gavri & McQueen, TCB, House Of Life and the label makers themselves. Oliver and Janis deliver tracks under their known names, while Homeboy
introduces his new project with fellow Wilde Renate resident The Swift, called Longhair.
Croatian artist Ugruv Smek marks his yearlong collaboration with the label delivering yet another smashing artwork.

None other than Scuba and DJ Tennis have been enlisted to remix the double A side, the seventh EP from the electronic duo: Scuba manages to transform the fragility of The Anxiety to please' into a subdued powerfulness, while the DJ Tennis remix of Tender Skin' is similarly powerful and technoid. Tender Skin/The Anxiety to please' is released on September 18 as a double A side, on vinyl on Stil vor Talent.

Politics Of Dancing Records celebrate their 5th anniversary with two various artists EPs, involving a solid line up of talented producers. The first vinyl to be released introduces Djebali & Stephan Bazbaz, Boris Werner, Politics Of Dancing and Rowlanz, delivering four dance floor friendly quality House & Deep House cuts.

Monkeytown wurde 2009 von Modeselektor gegründet, ursprünglich um die eigenen Platten und die Musik von Freunden zu veröffentlichen. Daraus wurde bald mehr. Kerri 'Kaos' Chandler dropping some neat early 90's House pressure on the mighty Strictly Rhythm under his KCYC pseudonym. That's right, more and more gems mined deep outta the SR archives! 'I'm Not Dreaming / Side By Side' both serve up that typical, cherished KC vibe, all chunky swinging drums and deep basslines, and not forgetting those chords, with Chevelle's vox taking us into the garage stratosphere. The b-side is a more introspective affair, but nonetheless pure dancefloor fire. You cannot put a foot wrong with Kerri during this period, this one ticks all the boxes and has been given some tasty 2019 remastering treatment and repressed onto a high quality, weighty 12" for all you record lovers out there, this one will keep them moving in the mix. Perfect NYC/NJ House sounds here, untouched and represented in it's original 1993 form with original Strictly label artwork, snoozing not permitted!

SCDD011 echoes everything the Loods moniker has become synonymous with: Emotive, hands-in-the-air house, billowing with nostalgic breaks and waves of uplifting melody.

Mokadelic - Doomed to Live is the theme tune to the hit Sky original series Gomorra. In celebration of the enchanting classic, Crosstown Rebels commissioned Daniele Baldelli & Marco Dionigi, who produce two stunning ‘Nu Disco’ and ‘Dub’ remixes and Davide Squillace, who provides the equally impressive ‘Ethnik’ remix.

Based on the acclaimed book of the Neapolitan writer Roberto Saviano, Gomorra, is focused on the fierce Neapolitan crime organization, depicting street-level crime and its hierarchical organization from the pavement, all the way up to regional government offices. The original theme tune played a significant part in the success of the show and was quickly commissioned to be remixed. The end result of which is a stunning release featuring a selection of Italy’s seminal artists, who each represent a different aspect of the country’s long-standing affiliation to club music and culture.

Baldelli and Dionigi’s Nu Disco remix combines cosmic synth stabs alongside otherworldly pads to form a meaningful astral cut, whilst the duos Dub mix features swinging drum solos and an infectious wooing vocal throughout. Davide Squillace’s Ethnik remix of Doomed to Live is a tribal fashion, as hollow drums pave the way for a soothing, emotionally charged piano key that runs alongside shimmering Maraca sounds.

Daniele Baldelli is a veteran of the scene and considered by many to be the pioneer of Cosmic Disco, a sound that first came about during his club residencies at Italy’s Cosmic and Baia Degli Angeli. On top of this, Baldelli’s collaborator Marco Dionigi held a residency at Verona’s Alter Ego club for twenty years. Born in Italy’s Siena, it was a trip to London that ignited Davide Squillace’s passion for electronic music. The Italian native debuted as a Circoloco resident in 2007, and has founded multiple labels since, including Sketch, Hideout and Titbit.

Manchester's Yadava steps up to the plate for the next installment of the High Praise Edits series. A member of the cities infamous party collective So Flute collective, Yadava has steadily been making a name for himself as a incredible selector with productions to match (including recent release on the likes of Church and Banoffee Pies records). He also holds down the 'Expansions' show on NTS Radio alongside co-host Contours.

With his incredible knack for weaving spiritual, soulful and uplifting energies throughout his music, it's no wonder we had to get him on board for High Praise Edits Vol IV.

Having hallmarked their success through their ability to showcase the hottest talents in dance music, whilst being renowned for curating some of the finest compilations over the years, London's finest party collective, Future Disco now offers a warm welcome to Gimbrère to the imprint. The young Dutchman steps up to the plate with his heavy weighted disco weapon, 'A Thing', seeing AVA regular Jordan on the remix duty.

Kicking things off, Gimbrère teases with a series of sweet melodic disco grooves under a booming range of 808 kicks, slowly sweeping off the filters to let the passionate vocal howls let loose and tear through the speakers. Coupled with thunderous crashes and well deserved breakdowns, this track is without a doubt some real peak time business from the flying Dutchman.

On the flipside, Jordan lays one down for the early hours, switching up the beat into a trashy hi-hat affair, making room for a wobbly old school bass and synthline to playfully glide along with the sam-ple hooks. Two completely different, yet equally as satisfying cuts, rounding off what is yet again an-other quality release from the Future Disco crew.

Dance Regular is a brand new label set up by EVM128 and James Rudie of CoOp presents Selectors Assemble.

Not wanting to be pigeon holed into one particular genre the label’s ethos is just good music that moves your body, genre spanning through House, Bruk, Soul, Jazz, Boogie, Half Time, Jungle, Ragga, and beyond.

This is the first Various Artists compilation to kick off with, then to follow there are EP releases throughout the year from the likes of Duke Hugh (Rhythm Section / HW&W) Xtra Brux, James Rudie (CoOp Presents / Selectors Assemble) Trev, Ishfaq, Footshooter and more.

A debut record from the '' Organic means '' team, featuring LB aka LABAT / Polow / Mr.Fries & Kamoony. Presenting a 4 track record freshly demonstrating each artists vibe for the dance floor.

This June will see the release of Deadbeat's "Jacks and Slow Dances" EP on Visionquest Records.

Deadbeat AKA Scott Monteith is a veteran producer currently residing in the ever inspiring city that is Berlin. No stranger to the Visionquest imprint, "Jack's and Slow Dances" follows his 2015 release on the same label, entitled The Jacks EP. His latest effort is comprised of 3 originals that are perfectly complimented by a remix from Visionquest co-head Shaun Reeves.

Monteith has been releasing critically acclaimed records since 2000 and has carefully sculpted a dub-laden sound that is uniquely his own and instantly recognizable. He has performed all over the world including top festivals like Sonar, Transmediale, Waking Life and Mutek. The esteemed labels he's released on include Cynosure, scape, Revolver, Wagon Repair and his own BLKRTZ.

The EP kicks off with massive bass, big toms and cascading synths and effects that build with the "Boom Jack" vocal, until diving into a driving kick. The patient tension continues and the repeated synths rise and fall as the rhythm of the vocal becomes more frequent and more manic, sure to excite the dance floor. For the A2 Shaun Reeves' remix of "Keep On Dancing" drops a 4/4 kick on the track and adds a classic Berlin low slung bass line that bumps along with some added sub bass, while delayed keys drift across the top. It's perfect for summer sessions at Club Der Visionaire, which is a frequent haunt for both artists.

The B side kicks off with the original mix of "Keep On Dancing", and sounds as though the listener is dropped into some remote jungle in the middle of the night. Monteith's beautiful and casual vocal arrives drenched in reverb while the minimal percussion accompanies his thoughts along the way. The song continues through the night as an arpeggiated bass synth leads the listener toward the 4/4 kick and the delightfully swung hi-hats that follow. The EP is rounded out by "VQ Infinity Dub, an uptempo jam that starts with his mature building of percussion and cascading synths and vocals that drive and pulsate the track forward. Foregoing the typical use of the big clap/snare, Montieth instead relies on the kick and shakers to keep the track moving and it just goes to show how effective his unique and unconventional his style can truly be.

After providing Touch From A Distance's inaugural release not even one year ago, the mighty Desert Sound Colony is returning to Nick Höppner's label for another round on the bouncy bounce, his bubble gun at the ready! It's no exaggeration to say Desert Sound Colony smashed it on all fronts in the past year: He put himself firmly on the map by pushing his own label Holding Hands with a fresh take on beloved tropes of UK club music. His number of gigs also increased dramatically and he popped his Panorama Bar cherry earlier this year at the first TFAD label night, where he unleashed a joyous assault of beats and bass whipping the crowd into a frenzy. Axel Boman broke through in 2010 with his Holy Love EP, released on DJ Koze's Pampa Records.




The track Purple Drank became an instant classic in underground house music circles - since then, Boman has toured extensively while releasing original productions and remixes on labels like DFA, Hypercolour, Kompakt, Permanent Vacation and Ovum, as well as on Studio Barnhus, the label he runs together with Kornél Kovács and Petter Nordkvist. Family Vacation, Boman's debut album, arrives on Studio Barnhus in November 2013. 'I decided to go through the vast collection of ideas and sketches I had on my computer, as a final project before I set that machine on fire and let it all go up in flames. Kind of like what Lee 'Scratch' Perry did with The Black Ark in Kingston in the 70's. A friend says the album sounds like 'weird Jamaican space disco' so maybe it's a fitting reference', says Boman himself. Axel Boman's music has also been described as 'raw and playful house music drenched in oceans of soul". Few are held in as higher esteem or instill as much admiration as the Italian deep house legend, Don Carlos. Imogen Recordings continue their stellar release form, locking down the maestro for a blissful two tracker that gives just as much energy, awe and emotion as his early '90s output. 'Alina' is eyes closed business right from the off. Waves of atmospheric synth strings and hazy chords roll in, as blissful pads sway with filtered drum loops. First come the dusky piano twinkles, then the trademark Don Carlos analogue bass tones, proving as prominent as ever behind melt-in-the-mouth sax grooves. Every turn and tweak conjures up memories of carefree elation - its ecstasy inducing dance music without the need for artificial enhancements. Part II is a variation on this masterpiece, progressing through the intro in a speedier fashion for those that need an express ticket to that peak time power. Shakers, claps and congas are brighter in the mix whilst the addition of a springing synth arp, fluctuations to the bassline and a re-sleazed sax line give just enough diversity to make it distinctive. It's hardier than Part I, but with every bit as much finesse and feeling. This is the real deal - no nonsense house music from a heart and head that have seen it all. Alone on a Mediterraneo beach or surround by a packed dancefloor, Alina is one to get lost in from start to finish and a solid statement that Don Carlos certainly still has 'it'.
