Matt Edwards' R-Time Records welcomes back Sir Lord Commix with five silky cuts for the fourth 'Retroactive' release.

Amoon Andrews' outfit Sir Lord Commix returns with the fourth instalment of re-released gems that have been in high demand on the vinyl market. Born out of Rekids, R-Time Records has previously released twelve of Commix's cuts, yet his treasure trove discography keeps on giving, spanning two decades.

Released on Ugly Music in '96, 'World Of Groove' is a smooth house cuts with an abundance of soulful stabs and driving percussion whilst hypnotic melodies and sweeping cosmic strings envelope 'Life Cycle', which first appeared on Cynic in '05. 'Cosmic Jive' - from the highly sought after 'Evidence' vinyl of '97 - pumps a reverberated kick amongst shimming chords and rising bleeps.

Appearing on an extremely rare release on Hard Up, 'Under Seige' has an off-kilter rhythm and erratic yet funky slapping bass melody. Finally, the release concludes with an ethereal cut titled 'Beyond Reach' complete with liquid breaks, floating arps and shining melody (originally from a Talahachi VA in 2014).

Loure supplies a deep & classy EP full of jazz influenced instrumentation. With beats ranging from warm house through to smooth breakbeat.

The release starts off with Wolfhart, a stripped back groove and exquisitely delayed elements will sure get things going.

Next up is Ording, named after a city in northeast Germany, its dubbed infused chords will take you on an expansive mind trip.

On B side, Tschi comes in with some playful hi hats and other wordly sounds that will satisfy the most discerning palates. To round of the EP we get a rework from the master Steve O'Sullivan, which needless to say, needs no introduction.

For its fifth release Planet Euphorique puts forward Australian-born, London-based Nite Fleit's latest release, Overcast. Her second record, Overcast is a teeth-baring soundscape guided by commanding, rhythmic spells. The record's acidic slaps and punishing bass lines are uncompromising, recalling her darkly transcendental DJ sets. Overcast's masterful doom is punctuated with enigmatic sparks throughout-the light beckoning listeners into the darkness and onto the dance floor.

Myna music returns to vinyl again with a new series of sampler EP's. The concept is to bring together old and new producers to the Myna family with a 4-track EP. Kinky Movement - Everything Starts the party of with an offering from long standing group, Kinky Movement. They're no stranger to Myna, having frequented the label over the past years
with both remixes and full EP's. Expect chunky, underground house with hints of classic sounding house vocals - perfect for peak time floors. Kinky Movement's first release was back in 2004 on Tango Recordings. Since then they have gone on to work with well over 50 various labels from around the globe and released over 200 original tracks and remixes on labels such as
Large Music, Salted Music, Swing City, Drop Music, King Street, Moulton Music, Nitegrooves, Jalapeño, Sleazy Deep, and Simma Black. Also, the trio has recently had their music featured on BBC Radio 1 Extra, presented by DJ Monki.

On the flip side is a new member of the Myna family, Terry Waites.
He delivers a driving, tech infused house number that still has a deep, underground house vibe & bouncy bassline, topped of with some trippy spoken vocals!
Terry moved to Perth, Australia in the summer of 1997 and has made a name for himself playing at festivals and clubs around Australia, aswell as touringcountries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and the UK.
More recently, Terry has gone on to produce some massive house tracks and remixes for some of the industry's top underground house music labels.
Terry is also the founder and brains behind the hugely successful promotions agency Soul Project, which has been hosting international and eastern states house acts more than 10 years in venues around Perth. NIKCO - GIVIN IT UP Finishing off the EP, we welcome Nikco to the Myna family. He held a residency in Ibiza and Mallorca for 11 years until heading to Hong Kong to
frequent the Drop club, Oma & Premium Sofa Club.
Nikco has previously released under the alias Bamboo Soldier. His track - Dogz on Crack (original mix) is featured on the 2018 official video for Sonar music festival, Hong Kong.
The past year has seen him releasing his deeper productions under Nikco, as he joins Myna, with a deep, sexy, silky track that oozes quality and classiness... think classic deep house vibes.

London based producers Club of Jacks have been bubbling away on the underground for a while now with releases on labels including Plastik People, Blockhead, Soul Revolution and their own Club of Jacks imprint.

Here they launch their vinyl label with a 4 track EP of fresh and distinct House & Garage cuts primed for the dance floor (or wherever you like to jack your body!)

'Alright' comes correct as a dubwise Garage House jam with reggae samples and a gear shifting breakbeat in the drop to tear up the dance.

Late night house club vibes by Ilija Rudman, joined forces with dream team producers on remix duties and their vision of this very simple but yet effective heavy driven club vibes track.

It's only been one year since Ireland's Rebuke put out his first release, yet his original sound has already catapulted him to the top of the class, and he makes his debut on Dirtybird with a two track EP, 'Jump Ship'.

The unique way Rebuke uses percussion alongside rolling bass and 90's-era stabs on 'Jump Ship' immediately grabbed our attention, and the cascading drums over the big bottom bass of 'The Pipe' is a striking piece of music that won't go unnoticed in any set.

Austalia's Analogue Attic has grown to become one of the most beloved purveyors or emotive deep house, ambient and electronica in recent years via a steady stream of releases from the likes of label heads Albrecht La'Brooy, Sleep D and a selection of up and coming artists from their homeland.

"The tracks on the record were inspired by a journey to Barrington Tops, a national park in the Hunter Region of New South Wales. The music itself has a physical link to this area through the field recordings present in the songs and is also imbued with with many vague and wistful memories of the summer trip.
Sitting Atop Mount Allen as the sun rose over the distant hill tops, we were struck by the cyclical beauty of nature.
We were visitors in this place, where everything would continue as it was whether we were there to see it or not.
It is this feeling that perhaps influenced us the most in the writing of the record. It infuses organic with electronics, whilst also mimicking the concurrent sense of happiness and melancholy that is often associated with experiences of nature."

'Ladies Well' leads with plucked strings, airy ethereal chords, hypnotic field recordings at its core whilst organic percussion, jazzy piano lines and warm subs ebb and flow within.
'Heatherbrae' follows next, retaining a similarly dreamy aesthetic with swirling atmospherics, twinkling keys and jangling strings while tipping the rhythmic focus over to bumpy, broken, jazz-tinged drums.
Opening the flip side is 'Mount Allyn' which edges into a more psychedelic realms with billowing vocal textures, murky bass tones, shuffled drums and squelching 303 licks ahead of closing track 'Elegy For Nick's Car', which - as the name would suggest - employs a cinematic, orchestral feel with dynamic evolutions of strings, percussion and piano lines throughout.

Iconic 2004 UK No.1 Lola's Theme released on Positiva, defined an era of dance music and still devastates dancefloors. Now it sees a 2019 reissue with 2 huge remixes.

House stalwart Mella Dee has delivered a pounding remix injecting driven, warehouse focused beats around the disco edged sounds of the original in the process - the track has already gained notable club support from the likes of Carl Cox, Alan Fitzpatrick, KETTAMA, The Black Madonna, Marco Carola, Skream, Amine Edge & DANCE, CamelPhat, Joseph Capriati already.

On the other side is the hard to come by Eric Prydz remix that packs a huge punch. No need to explain Prydz influence on the scene. This one is heavyweight.

Production duo Computa Games take the most slamming synth bass, the crispest drum machine hits, and the overall classic vibes of 80's dance-funk tunes to new aural heights. Sculpted using the best modern studio techniques, the 'Cosmic Dispatch' EP fuses funk, disco, soul and electro to various combinations, fitting the feel of the classiest nightclub or the grittiest backyard party. Each individual tune on the EP pairs with a unique vocalist or collaborator, as the project features guests Lovechild, B Bravo, Jackie Rain, NATALITA, and E. Live. There is something killer and personalized on this EP for every type of dancer, funkster, and headnodder around.

The Computa Games project is the product of the combined efforts of Martin Arceneaux and Chris Arenas. Joining their deep roots of live funk, electronic/live production and DJing, they formed in the fall of 2012, and quickly released two singles on the Supermart Produce label. The two debuted their live set at Monarch in San Francisco, with follow up performances at SXSW in Austin, and Tipitina's New Orleans. The group's third single "Rock Creek (Revenge)" was released exclusively on Beatport, where it was a featured track on the site's Funk/R&B page and stayed in the Funk/R&B Top100 for nearly 2 months, peaking in the top15. The group then released the "Grand Design" EP in September 2013 on Super Mart Records, followed quickly by a remix of The Pendletons single "Let Me Turn You On" featuring K-Maxx, and then a remix of New Orleans based funk band Galactic's "Heart Of Steel', featuring the legendary Irma Thomas. In October of 2015 Computa Games released their first vinyl 7' on ABC records with 'Do Your Thing' featuring K-Maxx b/w 'Feel Right 2Nite' which promptly established them in the burgeoning modern funk scene. Their follow up 7' was released in January 2017 with the single 'Computer Rock' b/w 'Computer Rock (West Coast Remix) on the New Orleans label Super Jock Records. Computer Rock garnered the duo more accolades with critics and fans alike.

Following the release of the 'Aset Forever' EP in September, Dusky announce Brame & Hamo and KETTAMA as remixers of EP tracks 'Amongst The Gods' and 'Staunch'.

On the 'Amongst The Gods' remix, Irish born, Berlin based duo Brame & Hamo bring distorted kicks and industrial percussion that are sprinkled with euphoric samples from the original, helping to provide an unequivocally rave ready flip.

Fellow Irishman, and rising star, KETTAMA takes the reigns on 'Staunch', turning the dark and brooding original into a thumping hard house epic punctuated with zapping synths and hefty percussion.

All engineered with that sublime balance of precise arranging and loose, swinging drum programming Renault is renowned for. A must-have for your bag.

Finnish electro-tropical ensemble Maajo is delivering a new Queen Nanny EP with Ismaila Sané from Senegal. Currently based in Finland, Sané started his career as a dancer and percussionist in Dakar in 1974. He has since pursued an extensive international career and worked with the likes of Jimi Tenor and Piirpauke. Ismaila and Maajo have produced two powerful songs in Jola language, spoken in Casamance, Southern Senegal. Sèmbè is an off-beat mix of disco reggae grooves, dancehall rhythms, trancey synths, and African gospel. The dub version on the flipside does what a dub is supposed to do, strips the track to its bones for bass-heavy sound system. The second track, Anaata, is a dark and mellow dub disco groover with an equally sublime vocal performance from Ismaila Sané.

Chicago-based Matt Warren has been a DJ for forty years and has been a producer since 1984, when he released his debut single Rock The Nation. This inspired Matt to cofound Sunset Records in 1985, which released several house classics. However, in 1987, Matt resigned from Sunset Records and founded AKA Dance Music.

The first single that AKA Dance Music released was Bang The Box, which sold over 50,000 copies in America and nowadays, is regarded as the first hard house track. Bang The Box was the first of seven singles that AKA Dance Music released between 1987 and 1988. By then, Matt's second label was part the history of house music.

After the demise of AKA Dance Music, Matt Warren continued to travel the world DJ in some of the top clubs. Meanwhile, Matt continued to produce new music, remix tracks by some of the biggest names in music.

By the nineties, Matt was also writing, arranging, mixing, and producing a wide variety of artists and bands. He sometimes was asked to play on a number of albums. However, he still loved house music, and worked on several releases.

As the new millennia dawned, Matt continued to work in a variety of roles in the ever-changing music industry, and occasionally released some new music. Over the next few years, Matt has been working as a producer, engineer and remixer, which meant he had to put his own career on hold, until he began working with a familiar face.

In 2016, Matt was reunited with house diva Pepper Gomez, who was now running her own label Wake Up! Music. By then, Pepper Gomez had dawned the MyMy Lady G moniker and embarked upon a career as producer. She had travelled to Chicago, to record Elena Andujar's genre-meting album Flamenco In Time at Matt's Sound Studio Recording. Matt took charge of engineering, programming, mixing and production on Flamenco In Time while MyMy Lady G added backing vocals and assumed the role of executive producer on this groundbreaking project. After the completion of Flamenco In Time, MyMy Lady G asked Matt Warren if he would like to record an album

It didn't take long for Matt to answer in the affirmative, and in early 2018, he hit the comeback trail. He was accompanied by a group of talented musicians and vocalists including gospel singer and soulful diva Jan McGhee, Elena Andujar and legendary house diva Pepper Gomez who plays a starring role on the album. That album was recorded over the course of several months, and eventually became Music Is My Life which marks the comeback of Mark Warren.

Matt Warren has been away to long, now one of the pioneers of Chicago House makes a welcome return with a groundbreaking new album. This is Music Is My Life, the first ever Nu House album, which is guaranteed to transform Matt Warren's career and become part of dance music history.

The boys from Politics Of Dancing Records launch their new imprint, P.O.D CRXSS. It's a label of collaborations, of paths crossed, It's about friendship, having fun making music with each other. Social Lovers return to the dance-floor with a stunning white label release of "Lover's Flame / The Light" on Hobo Camp to close out 2018, following up their ltd 7" "Can't Get Enough". The WD wagon continues to roll, bringing back the sounds of London's streets circa 1992 in all it's gritty glory! This, the latest instalment of reissues, reworks and rediscoveries see's a rare EP featuring cuts from a clutch of artists from the stable including No Smoke, Addis Posse & Gary A'Gaye. As ever, the Warriors sound is a stew of Dub, Hip-Hop breaks, House, Techno and synth sounds all collaged together using minimal gear and the UK warehouse and sound-system mentality. Vibraphone Records continues to deepen its contemporary repertoire by inviting Andrew Soul into the fold with a vocal contribution from house music legend Robert Owens. "Slipping Into Darkness" is a beautifully rendered deep house gem with expressive piano work, rubbery bass synth tones, but in some ways the minimalism of Vincent Floyd's remix gives Owens' vocals a chance to take centre stage. "As You Are" is a crooked, broken beat exploration on the fringes of deep house, and Owens' voice sounds resplendent in the more experimental surroundings before Nick Anthony Simoncino comes on board with a 90s flavoured, darkside remix of the highest order.

David Marston is a producer, DJ, musician, and guitarist hailing from the vibrant Caribbean island of Jamaica. He takes a multifaceted approach to his music, and has worked to achieve a sound that is a fusion of multiple genres, including, but not limited to, house, hip-hop, disco, jazz, as well as reggae. During a six-month stint in Jamaica in 2016, Marston reconnected with a close friend and fellow musician, Craig Williamson, and the pair began writing music that would become the basis of Marston's first full length album. With the album set to be released in early 2019, Marston has endeavored to put together a special 12" to showcase the club-friendly side of his music with a selection of the album's dance cuts.

The A-side of the vinyl kicks off with the title track, "Feeling You", which features Williamson's crooning voice over a hypnotic instrumental characterized by a swirling arpeggiated synth, punchy bass hits, and stomping drums. To round off the A-side, Italian DJ and production duo, Lowheads, give the aforementioned track a fresh makeover with their lively classic house remix and dub version. The flip side of the record consists of two instrumental tracks. The first, "Ragamuffin", is a mesmerizing four to the floor tune constructed around an Indian raga sample. The final number, "On My Mind" is an off-kilter house groove with rolling keys, garage style drums, and a soaring lead. Taken together, the 12" album 'sampler' is a robust yet tantalising collection of club-ready tunes.

Albion boys are back with their 9th installment, this time from relative newcomer on the french minimal scene Gab Jr.

Dichotomy Records opens up its 2019 account with a four track extended player from Mary Yalex, the German born producer who has made big strides with her music over the last few years.

With a catalogue than spans numerous singles and two albums for her own Yalex Recordings label, as well as 2018 releases for Kann Records and ADSR Collective, Yalex delivers the fourth release on Danny Clancy's imprint.

Industrious beats and waves of ethereal pads define 'Here And Nowhere Else', as deft melodies and chords ripple over this reflective mood piece. This deep sound aesthetic continues through 'Remember When', as blankets of warming tones envelope the tribal percussion and considered groove.

IDM soundscapes are abound on 'Ambient Floor', whilst 'Dream Chasers' offers up a beatless ambient passage that sparkles and dazzles with electronic splendour.

Italian producer Mennie teams up French producer Julien Sandre to release the third of their collaborative EP's. Previously releasing on Housewax and Poker Flat the duo now grace Infuse with a superb three track EP of exquisite grooves!

The A Side 'Time On Our Side' is a deep, textual, bumping beat of a track. On the flip and 'Pulsar' ups the ante and jacks the groove with an added dose of tech-n-acid. Finally 'Telstar' takes us on a wonderfully wonky journey and bleeps us into orbit! Now on its thirtieth release Infuse maintains the pedigree and once again rocks the floor!

German duo Avidus bring their spellbinding style to Crosstown this March. The pair have conceived a four track EP that serves to showcase their unique sound.

Avidus have produced a mesmerising EP that submerges the listener in an intriguing sonic soundscape. On title track XII prominent drums arise alongside dramatic strings that create a track full of suspense. Psalm 23 opens with an ethereal vocal sample that bleeds into a high-octane beat that's pacing and intense. On the flip, Lux is a dreamy and emotive number, calmer than its predecessors with a breathtaking breakdown, whilst last year's Revenge Of The Whales gets a rework for Crosstown.

Hailing from Kiel in North Germany Fritz Wagner and Marc Wolf, aka Avidus, have forged a strong partnership over the years. Fritz began producing music in the late 90s, making Hip Hop beats and pop music before moving on to house. During his early years, Marc produced backing tracks for hardcore bands before DJ'ing at illegal, outdoor raves. He started his own night ENDVR at Kiel's Luna Club, where he invited guest such as Âme, Roman Flügel, Barnt and Marcus Worgull. Their diverse musical tastes and influences are apparent in their music, which refuses to be confined to any one genre. The duo launched their own imprint Empore Music in 2014 that has charted releases from Johannes Albert amongst others.

Good Block have been throwing parties in and around London for the past six years. Nomadic and sporadic in form and function, their parties are centred around danceable odd-ball gems and have hosted the likes of Jamie Tiller, Jon K, Esa, John Gomez, Selvagem, DJ Nomad, Bradley Zero, DJ Okapi, Jonny Rock, Apiento, DJ Vegetable and Cosmic Slop.After a series of DJ friendly edits issued gratis, Good Block finally put out their first fully fledged EP of original material; a composite soup of influences and styles from around the Orb, trekking through slow jungle chug, cosmic Caribbean Juno jams, Japanese synth pop snares and New-Age meanderings.

Pal Joey (aka Joseph Longo) came up in the heady days of New York street culture, amidst B-boying, boom boxes and an unusually entrepreneurial spirit of beat-making. Beginning with crude "pause tapes," he was soon making tracks with drum machines and sampled vocals, all painstakingly assembled with razors and reel-to-reel. Working at Vinylmania, where Larry Levan might be found shopping for records in his pajamas, helped Joey's entrance into the city's nascent house music scene, and he was soon working with everyone from KRS-One to Sade to the Orb, whose "Little Fluffy Clouds" he tweaked for stateside tastes.

The fifth offering in the opening 12' series by Pfeiffer, the Los Angeles label is proud to bring a mysterious producer to the fold. 9th House made his debut in September 2018 with the dreamy 'Feel It In The Evening' featuring NYC artist Baltra on vocals. With support already from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, KCRW & Radio Nova to name but a few, this latest release on Pfeiffer sets the tone for a busy year for 9th House, with an impressive slew of forthcoming original works coming on labels like Jamie Jones' Hottrax, Alan Fitzpatrick's We Are The Brave, and TEED's Nice Age.
On the A-side, 'Iter' brings an agile 808 workout with synth sequences so dreamy you can almost feel them bouncing off the tents at Dekmantel. A twinge of acid towards the end gives it the edge to find a home on sweaty, low ceiling dancefloors. B-side 'Mercury' provides an introspective roller to round out the package described by Tom from Groove Armada as the "heads down, 6am groove." Precise drum machine grooves effortlessly cut through the lush soundscapes to hypnotic effect. Both tracks showcase a heavily Detroit-inspired sound, but with a deft modernism.
