The city of Bologna (BOLO for locals) has been always a crucial junction for the underground music scene in Italy.Over the last few years a small group of bad boys has started to fill the streets with a distinctive and modern interpretion of house music.We are here to represent that sound.

Our mission is set with 'Mystery To The Viewer', but what is the main mystery Is it the gravity-defying thrust of our engines or the identity of the anonymous (yet well spoken) narrator Listen closely for clues amid the heavy pulsating chords as we break away from the earth orbit and plunge deeper into the stars.

'In This Detail' sees us hurtling further and further into the dark unknown. There's a deep chilling aesthetic at play here as LOR makes his 808s weep with the loneliness only a long-stay astronaut can sympathise with. In perfect contrast, the isolation is balanced by the direct and vital 'Oriole'. One of LOR's earliest projects, updated with all the skills and techniques he's learnt on labels such as Exit Strategy and Cin Cin, it's a vital composition that rises and rises as we engage hyperspeed through the cosmos. 

Finally we land back on our home planet to the marching momentum of 'White Light'. Almost stately in its pace and rhythmic stride, things suddenly take a turn for the intense as a warping bass siren triggers a much darker direction and a series of spasmodic kicks and heavily shelved filters. Welcome home...

The label's third release is a special EP from Modular Project. Alphaville is an hypnotic journey through shades of indie electronica, new wave and their signature sounds, while Another Glimpse is a beautiful emotional slow workout.

We can attest 'Despertar' is one of the most intriguing and beautiful albums to emerge from the Spanish's electronic music scene in 2017. A celebrated debut by the artist Piek, emerged from the most versatile musical scene, not in vain he creates inspired by the magic of great names such as Sigur Ros, Moderat or Bonobo.'Despertar' is the title chosen for the debut LP of this producer and dedicated music lover from Pamplona

Italian producer Piero Pirupa's musical CV is nothing short of impressive. So it's no surprise that his next production has found a home on Damian Lazarus' Crosstown Rebels, enlisting the vocal talents of New York's Mr.V.Influenced by the sounds of 80s and 90s Chicago, Pirupa worked tirelessly on this EP to reach a version he was happy with. After seeing the reaction from dancefloors around the world, he decided to send it to Carl Cox and Damian Lazarus.We Must Be (The Piano Track) breathes new life into today's dance music with a message from a bygone era. It harks back to the golden age of house music with its lush piano topline and positive message sung by Mr.V. Happiness simply emanates from this production. With lyrics such as 'we must be all in this together, we must live to respect one another' and 'this is the plan to make us unified' it takes clubbing back to a time when everyone came together on the dancefloor regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or religion.
Pirupa's rise to the top has been relentless. He's built a solid reputation in the industry releasing on respected labels such as Drumcode, Desolat, Relief, Elrow Music and Saved Records, as well as his own label NONSTOP, which was awarded the accolade of being one of Beatport's Breakthrough Underground labels in 2015. He's been billed alongside heavyweights such as Carl Cox, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Pete Tong, Marco Carola, Steve Lawler, Deep Dish, Nic Fanciulli and John Digweed. Pirupa's production talents have seen him remix for the likes of Jamiroquai, Junior Jack and Sharam.

The third release on Mr Beatnick's Mythstery imprint brings Toronto's Nautiluss into the fold, under his newest alias, Pyramid Lake. "Palms On Fire" is a fuzzy, percussive collab with LA's Sage Caswell, whilst "Ital Vital" dials in the cruise control for a rolling, spaced-out deep house groove. On the flip, Drum Poet regular Quarion serves up one of his signature panorama bar ready remixes for "Cease and Desist", whilst label boss Mr Beatnick turns "Palms On Fire" into a vintage electro/acid workout.

When they go low, we go high, we level up our physical release series in the second half of 2018 and drop more soul wax at it´s finest. For the sixth record HDSN takes the reins once more and crafts another legit EP, dedicated to the classic house music sound and it´s rich treasure. The man who is responsible for more than a few choice cuts on NBAST is back with his exceptional dance floor driven treats. The eagerly-awaited sequel to the highly popular Don´t Forget To Boogie' and Keep The Funk Alive' EP´s, Soul City Jams' expresses the sunny side of life in sound. Four pieces that complement each other perfectly as they evoke a magical moment in every occasion. Bitterweet samples, tough beats, hard hitting grooves and heartfelt melodies bringing to you loads of #datsoulthang flavour. Next up on High Praise, we're pleased to welcome two long time friends of the label for their first collaborative venture. Introducing Rude & Mean (also know as James Rudie and EVM128). As key members of the infamous CoOp collective, they have been flying the flag for the UK's broken beat revival, turning heads with their intensely soulful productions. Supporters include the likes of Gilles Peterson, Bradley Zero and many more.

'Moments In Soul' and 'Just flow' are two exuberant masterclasses in how to create a joyful edit. Their broken beat background shines through in the meticulous drum programming, giving the performance a natural, live feel and setting it apart from others in their class. Syncopated rhythms, celebratory chords and relentlessly energetic basslines feature throughout - creating a groove so powerful you can't help but be spirited away to the dance floor.

With this release High Praise continue to build their status as a label to keep an eye on, with their party series and clothing line steadily growing in popularity.

Beautiful Strangers marks the return of Theo Kottis with this sampler of his debut LP. It reveals a new chapter in his artistic journey in which he resets his creative output, free of compromise, conveying his devotion to the dancefloor, and revealing a new concept that everyone can ascribe to.

'Reasons' kicks off the record with a slice of disco tinged house music - overlaying infectious guitar and string loops, with slick piano flurries to make for a sure-fire summer winner. The A2 houses 'The Get Down' - a more heavy hitting workout packaged for the dancefloor, with a percussive bassline over the top of a choice breakbeat, tied together by a thumping kick.

Flip it over and you unearth the lovechild creation of a 303 coupled with a Brazilian classic in the form of 'Acid Disco'. A driving kick / hat combo, squelchy acid and pitched down Brazilian vocals offer up a raw but energetic stomper. Finally, 'U Need To Keep It Simple' takes you on a more emotive and powerful acid trip. The sweeping synths building throughout the track coupled with soaring strings, alongside an alluring acid line....proper!

Bath-come-London party purveyors, Origins, take to channelling some of their creativity into the creation of their own Origins label. At the helm for the debut release is Bristolian up-and-comer Tommosini. Having heard Move D unleash the beauty of 'Another Dimension' at Freerotation last year, Origins knew they had to find out who the mastermind behind this deep house gem was....and the rest, they say, is history.

'Another Dimension' transports you through the galaxies via a combination of dreamy pads, crisp percussion, full-bodied bass and those sensual deep tinged vocals. Future classic in the making.

The A2 'I Don't Stop' carries on the U.S flavoured deep house with a vocal house track that wouldn't be out of place coming from the shores of Chicago masterfully intertwining a bumping bassline, soft organs and those introspective, luscious vocals.

Flip it over and you're treated to two interpretations of 'Another Dimension'. First up fellow Bristol bass badboy, Hodge, serves up a signature remix, chopping the vocals and layering them behind a pounding kick and machine gun percussion to give that bass heavy flavour he's become so well known for. Deadbeat steps up to close out the e.p. with a heavyweight techno rework of the original, complete with hypnotic bleeps, phased hats, and intermittent sub bass goodness, all tied together with a driving kick to give a real industrial feel to the remix.

B From E traces his video game & trance roots on 'Human Revolution', while S.A.M. (Mandar / Delaphine) sculpts the dreamy chords of the original into that ethereal realm of house, as only he does it. On the flipside the newcomers bring the action, as Soaked goes heavy with the SP1200 distorted bassline stomper 'Heavy Thoughts' followed by Belmaati with his mesmerizing deep house vibes on 'Deep CTRL'

This is the new Affkt album 'Son of A Thousand Sounds' on Sincopat. It includes collaborations with Upercent, Piek and Sutja Gutierrez.

Micra returns with three meticulously crafted jams.Live act duo Bauness (formed by Lega Pugliese and Facundo Cruz) presents their debut EP 'Uko & Rodi' delivering two outstanding originals straight from the heart of Buenos Aires' underground scene.Third track is a remix of Rodi made by Norken, showing Manchester's legend Lee Norris (aka Metamatics, Autumn Of Communion, Nacht Plank, etc) at his top form.

"Caruso are back after a long time away on Swiss imprint deepArtSounds having previously only released on Manchesters Ten Lovers Music label. Different is the lead track featuring the amazing vocals of Helen McCormack which also is reworked by the equally incredibly talented Trinidadian Deep in his own unique style. Dan Piu also supplies some fine re-edits of Caruso tracks Tobacco and Pure Sound. Caruso's Steve Conry and Cormac Fulton are working on lots of new material. This will be the first of many new releases."

Joe Lewandowski, explores new territories to deliver a 3rd EP that blends afro, jazz with house music. His main idea was to offer music that blurs frontiers between samples, organic instruments and recorded sounds. The '3rd Base' EP comes with an additional reinterpretation of Flabaire, runner and co-founder of the French label D.ko Records.

Moon Harbour is delighted to announce the Autumn 2016 release of Momentum, the second full length album
from label boss Matthias Tanzmann. Arriving eight years after his debut LP Restless, the outstanding follow-up
impressively demonstrates that his artistic restlessness has not been decreasing over the last couple of years.
On the contrary, Momentum undoubtedly proves once more that Matthias' impact on the scene is still steadily
growing with an end not in sight and that his efforts to advance are ever moving forward.
Recent times have found Matthias having huge success via fruitful collaborations with the likes of Martin
Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Daniel Stefanik, amongst others, but now back on his own and more energetic
than ever, he is firing on all cylinders as a solo artist. Loosely rooted in a variety of house styles, Momentum
shows a subtle return to some of Tanzmann's earliest musical roots. Just as Matthias declares himself, It is stuff
to listen to at home, stuff I like to listen to away from the club', before adding that, of course, it also contains
tracks that are 100% what I love playing in my DJ sets.'
The ten track release is an impulsive and emotionally moving affair that offers a fantastic snapshot into the
current musical mind of the artist. With a process initially starting during his times abroad in Thailand and South
America, this most coherent and complete album has been slowly coming together over the last five years. In
customary manner, the album is quite different to a normal EP from the German producer, given that it features
plenty of deeper and more cerebral moments than most of his past works.
With a perfect mixture between listening pleasure and pure dancefloor material, Momentum contains tracks
ranging from deep and broody house style with warm pads streaming over infectious drums to serene and
atmospheric jams with real funk in their bones. Next to more downtempo sultry house vibes, the harder, more
freaky tunes will get floors bumping with their punchy drums, wiggling synths, drilling bass and loopy vocal
sounds. With more soul infused party grooves rounding up the experience, the release truly brings along the
whole range of carefully plotted ups and downs necessary for casting the listener under a hypnotic and heartfelt
spell of house music.

The album will be celebrated with a worldwide release tour from October to December 2016, highlighting once
more that only a few have the exact same sense of electronic music artistry as this man does.

United under the guise of Rain Text are well-known Italian producers Giuseppe Ielasi and Giovanni Marco Civitenga, who you may better know for his output as My Dry Wet Mess. The project first came to life in 2016 with a debut instalment on Civitenga's own imprint Skyapnea, soberly-titled '1', now followed by its longed-for second outing '2', coming out mid-April on Bedouin Records' polyamorous sister label Bastakiya Tapes. From pensive ambient opener '2.1' to the carefully crafted dub techno of 2.3 this collaboration shines as much through its silences as it excels in the creation of a genuinely captivating atmosphere out of a very limited battery of elements. Deep, acute and penetrating, a masterly EP.

Many have tried to recreate the following with varying success, but why reach for an imitation when you have the originators at work here in a first-ever collaboration between UK stalwarts Steven Rutter (B12/Warp/FireScope) and Kirk Degiorgio (As One, Applied Rhythmic Technology). Building a bridge across the sounds of the UK and Detroit, the combined influences, styles and elements of this teaming-up is fully realised in 4 tracks of neo hi-tech soul, where the rhythm and groove of Degiorgio meets the emotive atmospherics of Rutter.'Reconnaissance Pass' opens up the channels with a quirky, upbeat jaunt alongside drawn out honeyed sunset sky hues and glittering oceans, a luscious prismatic medley of body and soul. Drenching darkness with lightness, 'Sechel' has delicately tuned percussion and sensitively sustained strings together with a relentless pounding kick and an acid bassline in the same elevator headed towards the future. Etheric synths and strings float above the groove pool of 'Encapsulation', at once both reaching for the heavens and grounded in a shaker-filled dance. First led by a muted bassline, 'Tri Order Descent' bursts open in kaleidoscopic brilliance midway before breaking into arpeggiated locomotion, a spacecraft discovery journey set forth for new and uncharted terrain.

The legendary Simbad aka SMBD has collaborated on 'The Old Days' and 'Seagull Chant'. Peter Pearson, chillout jazz musician from south of France has collaborated on 'La Med'.

Kousto writes 'Little Foot Records' aims to work with producers who are expecting something new, we want to learn and share our projects with our friends and people who share the same passion. The joy of listening to a great song is the only criteria. Producers have to feel free to create and dream to share their music with the world. Walking on sandy beaches of south of France has inspired my music and it will hopefully leave the print of a little foot that every artists wants to leave to our music world. Step by step is my first Ep and it is part of this movement!'

"Lecker" means delicious in German. This was the most said word during the 5 days Joerg and Pablo spent together in Barcelona, 'Lecka'. Five days that were mixed between studio time and gastronomic moments. Five tracks make this detailed and deep EP since the first beats, with house textures like in "Passages" or "In other words", ambient rhythms
in "Evolution" or dub pulses like the one in "Convex" and "Woven feelings". A ride through the deep electronic by the hands of two masters of this genre.
