Vitalik continue their vinyl Gold Series with another gold standard release. For the forthcoming VITNYL003 Clive Henry drops a fifteen minute long opus on a single sided limited edition vinyl.'My Fifteen Minutes of Fame' is contrastingly raw in it's production and sublime in composition. It's gentle meandering melodies float over a warm bed of muted pads and analogue bass.

Recorded as a live jam and stripped down to its constituent parts its melodies take centre stage, enthralling the listener into what can be best described as an acid house lullaby and what has already been penned as an instant balearic classic.

'My Fifteen Minutes of Fame' was engineered by Rui Da Silva and is the former Peace Division front man's first solo release since his illustrious studio partnership with Justin Drake, he joins artists such as Jimmy Edgar, The Mole, Franklin De Costa and Anonym on the vinyl only Vitalik offshoot.

The Other Man' is a unique collaboration between up-and-coming young Finnish producer Janne Tavi - the flag-bearer of Ibadan's next generation - and acclaimed Chicago house vocal legend Robert Owens. This EP is a superb rare gem that bridges global distances and combines a broad range of influences. The result is lush layers of sound, relentless energy, and intricate piano riffs and stabs. Owens' poignant vocals seal the deal on this new house classic, taking it to sublime heights. The vocal dub kicks the heat up a notch with Owens' seductive vocals and Tavi's stunning keys and arrangement. On the B-side, New York house legend Kerri Chandler makes a long-awaited return on Ibadan. First up is a spirited vocal version with a dynamic bassline. Chandler follows it up with an instrumental take, pared down to a tool and keeping the infectious groove going with deep and satisfying flavor.

Fresh off the back of the languorous poolside disco and tropical pop of their debut album 'Shapes On Shapes' released last November, LA based duo Wild & Free return with a collection of essential remixes from label mates and influences alike by revisiting the heady disco of recent single 'Ferns and Stuff'.
Both multi-instrumentalists, singers and producers in their own right, Wild & Free duo Drew Kramer and George Cochrane came together in 2015 and have spent the past 2 years crafting a series of acclaimed EPs and remixes (for the likes of Joe Goddard (Hot Chip), Panama, Gigamesh, RAC and Ben Browning of Cut/Copy) that saw them tipped by the likes of Spin, XLR8R, Indie Shuffle, Clash Magazine, Data Transmission and many more and take their live show on the road playing alongside the likes of Brooklyn's Body Language.After releasing a few solid ep's and two full lengths album's Xinobi has gained real recognition among established and well-known artists and opinion-makers, and his underground cult has amplified. What has followed is remixes, edits and reworks for artists such as Sbtrkt, The Avener, John Grant, Toro Y Moi, Nicolas Jaar, Agnes Obel, Kris Menace and Tensnake.Along with Moullinex and Mr. Mitsuhirato he gave birth to the still-growing-influent Discotexas who here lend their label mates their expert musical arrangement skills with 'Discotexas Club Mix' thrown in for good measure. And it doesn't stop there, with legendary New Yorker Justin Strauss, who has produced and mixed records and remixes for the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Beyonce, La Roux and Goldfrapp contributing a 'Whatever/Whatever' mix as part of the slick and hugely influential production duo he formed with Bryan Mette.
Already noticed for his remixes and array of collaborators and with several releases under his belt (including a track on the 'Bonjour Colette' compilation), Tokyo-based Yuki Abe AKA producer/DJ Boys Get Hurt gets his inspiration from the melancholic feelings the end of summer inevitably brings about, a personal and evocative sensibility in tune with the land of the rising sun's delicate culture. Yuki expertly crafts bouncy disco-house music with sprinklings of electronica, indie, ambient, hip-hop and R&B. Here he adds a mix with a loose and joyful feel that fits the sentiments of what Wild and Free represent perfectly.

Collaborating with producers Cassy holds in high regard is the modus operandi of her newly launched label, Kwench Records. Powered by the finesse of US veteran Pete Moss, the fourth EP dips the imprint into a slicker, more sensual side to house music. And adding fire to the flame is the legendary Ron Trent, who completes the release with a scorching ten-minute remix.

Cassy launched Kwench Records with a burning appetite to create house music with esteemed producers whose careers could be defined by their eagerness to experiment. With her championing Moss's and Trent's productions for years, she approached the fourth release confident that their collaborative material would be dynamite.

Cassy, among hundreds of her peers in the dance music sphere, has been an ardent admirer of Chicago house hero Ron Trent for years. With a huge back catalogue dating back to 1990 it's safe to say he holds a special place within dance music.

Franck Roger reunites with vocal powerhouse Mandel Turner for one of the year's most infectious tracks, 'Through The Motions'. The product of a melting pot of inspirations, 'Through The Motions' features a hilarious spoken-word sample, Mandel's ultra smooth vocal contribution and louche, hypnotic atmosphere underpinned by a laid back BPM.Franck and Mandel first got together on one of last year's dancefloor smashes, the superlative 'After All'. The twosome found common ground through their love of eighties and nineties New York musical culture. Mandel being one of the fortunate few to have spent time at Larry Levan's Paradise Garage, where the magic really happened week in, week out for over a decade between the mid- seventies and mid-eighties. Franck and Mandel formed a strong friendship and decided to continue their working relationship by reuniting for 'Through The Motions'.Franck concocted the track's continuous linear beat after finding inspiration in one of his favourite tracks, the cult classic 'Make Me Dance (Hard For The DJ) by Nu Groove legend Basil Hardhaus. Later, during their studio sessions, Franck and Mandel came up with the hook This time derived from a cult track from the nineties New Jersey scene, 'Goin' Through The Motions' by Keisha Jenkins and produced by New York duo, Blaze. Add to that a side-splitting vocal sample and 'Through The Motions' was born.Just like 'After All', 'Through The Motions' is proof that the partnership between Franck Roger and Mandel Turner is one that can Produce Instant classics. Their joint musical heritage combined with a variety of influences, from both house and many other genres, Giving to high Quality contemporary electronic music.

Two of dance music's hottest producers coalesce on the latest Hot Creations release. Frank Storm and Matteo Spedicati bring us Gimme Tha Honey, a throbbing three-track EP that gifts us with a rework from Robsoul label boss Phil Weeks.

Frank Storm reveals "this is our first collaboration which was born a year ago in our studio in Barcelona. We share the same passion for our own definition of the ghetto sound, blending fresh and techy vibes.' With this inspiration they weave an almost menacing vocal into the pulsating bassline of lead track Gimme Tha Honey. The Phil Weeks remix brings a slither of light with a shower of synths and warm, bubbling bass. The EP closes with The Long Wait shaking the record into heavier terrain, as the industrial keys are underpinned by a flurry of tough drums.

Frank Storm has been a key player on the White Isle having played at some of the Island's biggest clubs; Space, Sankey's, Pacha, Ministry of Sound and Zoo Project, as well holding down a residency at the night Unusual Suspects. Matteo Spedicati began releasing music in 2006 and has received support from Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin. Since then he's gone on to work with such high profile names as Joseph Capriati and Mendo, as well as releasing records on an abundance of top labels.

Collecting orders for repress

Arriving shortly after Midland's 'Double Feature' EP, the 2nd release on the his newly launched ReGraded imprint comes in the form of the 'Sanctified EP' from new comer Hubie Davison. First hearing Sanctified played out in the blurry confines of Glastonbury's NYC Downlow, it became a staple of Midland's sets throughout the summer. Having witnessed it reduce dance floors from Panorama Bar to Dekmantel Festival to smiling heaps he contacted Hubie to see if he would consider it for the second release on the label. The B-side entitled 'Watchasay' swiftly followed and REGRD002 was realised; Heavy sampling, disco breaks and great edits align it perfectly with the labels manifesto.

Kai Alce, NDATL boss, provides the DEBUT release for Atlanta based People of Earth imprint. Vital Sales Points: - People of Earth is Michael Scott's newest label. Formerly heading up SOCO Audio & more recently was a founding partner in the Brooklyn based Scissor & Thread label. -Strong release from the deep house King Kai Alce.Next release form POE will be Mr. Reggie Dokes !

Making his debut on the label, Spanish producer Kuo Climax is welcomed to the Hot Creations fold. A solid two track release that has already been heating up dancefloors across the globe, the talented artist showcases his distinct style and proves why he is hotly tipped for 2018.

The EP opens up with Whyte, a pulsating track with a warped bassline and oozing synths. Two and a half minutes deep it disperses into a breakbeat-esque breakdown that dives back into the familiar 4/4 beat. Title track Nacrem is a smooth roller with an underpinning bass and intergalactic vocal stabs. The EP highlights the Spanish producer's ability to bring balance to his output, providing music perfectly attuned for the floor.

Born in Malaga and now residing in Barcelona, Kuo Climax has released on respected labels such as Knee Deep In Sound, Solid Grooves and VIVa MUSiC. 2018 will see the producer launch his own vinyl-only imprint, LFOFL, that aims to recognise the progress in technology without losing the essence of true dance music.

Ecuadorian Carloh's passion for music began at an early age, learning the art of turntablism from his father and uncle, both of whom were DJs. Heavily influenced by the native instruments of his country and the folk music of the Andes Mountains, his knowledge of modern and traditional is reflected in the latest release on Hot Creations.

The EP opens up with title track Sound Pump. Alien-like noises float amongst the powerful, thudding drums before descending into a crescendo of hurried synths that are smashed into outer space by that classic jackin' beat. This is swiftly followed by the dark and looming bassline of It's Like Before, littered with twinkling, cosmic synths it's work's a treat!

Claiming he wants to 'rescue the sound of classic house', the talented producer has forged a musical style that strikes the perfect balance between old and new. Describing himself as a pioneer of the musical genre 'Andes House', Carloh has previously released records on Desolat, Baumsounds and I'm A House Gangster.

Uber cool Belgian vinyl only label Muzik & Friendz return with another fantastic cut from Pat Lezizmo this time collaborating with fellow countryman Chris Hingher (Nervous Records). Having recently graced the pages of Mixmag with his last outing on the imprint, label boss Pat closes out the summer via 'Without You' a stunning deep vocal track featuring the sweet tones of Melaverde.

Packed full of energy and infused with balearic tones, driving bass and a blissful break this limited edition vinyl run also features 3 remixes from Sebastian Davidson, Lumoon & Robin and Vijay & Sofia Zlatko.

Coming hot on the heels of his 'Love For The Art' EP is Melchior Sultana's new EP, 'Timeless'. The Maltese multi-instrumentalists latest is being released on his very own Profound Sound label, as was 'Love For The Art'. The release captures everything you love about Melchior Sultana, laid back house grooves, live instrumentation and blissful atmospheric keyboards. The four tracker features three Sultana originals and a remix of the title track from Dean Demanuele.

Taken from Gabe Gurnsey's upcoming debut solo LP, 'Physical' on Phantasy, 'Eyes Over' zones in on a proto-Hacienda groove that's undistilled militant funk, loose and lucid elements of electro and dub-laden drums conspire to offer an alluring landscape for Gurnsey's restless vocals. The harder-hitting Extended Dub takes more precise aim at the dancefloor, allowing each disparate, analogue element more room to unfold across a throbbing baseline.

has been active for a decade and as well as on his own
label has turned out on Aras, Trapez ltd, Bondage, Heinz
Music and many others. Here one of his big hitters 'Let Me
Go' feat. Elif Biçer gets remixed by deep house legend Fred
P, as well as Leo Cubanero and Deadbeat. New York's
Soul People boss and underground talent Fred P goes rst
and unsurprisingly his track is spiritual and way below the
surface, with emotive female vocal coos and skipping
drums all laced up in mesmerising and soulful pads. Then
comes Leo Cubanero, who has been producing on label like
Festplatten and Nachtfrequent since 2003, and he ips the
track into a liquid tech house affair with libidinous vocals
and freaky synths and pads that add as spooky air to
proceedings. Lastly, Montrealer DeadBeat lays down a
sublime minimal dub remix that is gooey and lazy, elastic
and seductive in all the right ways, especially when the sexy
vocal comes in. This is a connoisseur package of deep
house that breathes plenty of great new life into the Marc
Miroir & Elif Biçer original.

Alleviated Records is proud to present the Ken Gill EP. Ken was on the scene while Bernard (Badie) and Larry (Heard) worked on music ideas between 1993 and 1997 and they both help out on "Love Moon", our first selection. Larry's "psychedelic" interpretation constructed around Bernard's bassline idea and Ken's original elements. "Just A Test" is up next with its' "tracky" feel that dj's, dancers and all who like to keep it "no-frills" should enjoy (we hope!). "Idol Mind" has an interesting combination of "moody", "upbeat" and "whimsical" that draws you in as you listen. "Jack Wit Honey" is another that draws you in as you listen but this time with a "melancholy" overtone combined with a fun "bounce". Ken has only been making trax for a short time but we were all pleasantly surprised to hear his ideas right from start when he decided to try his hand at it. Seminal Mood II Swing production remixed by UK cutting edge Producer Pearson Sound for Nervous Records.
One of the most memorable House Music anthems from NYC's 'golden era of house' has been given the 2016 treatment by Pearson Sound. 'Learn 2 Luv ' features lead vocals by one of House Music's greatest voices, Kim English. Originally produced by Mood II Swing in 1997, it quickly became a favourite of legendary producer Francois K, who subsequently added his 'Atmospheric Mood' mix to the package.
With Nervous Records currently celebrating its 25th year in operation, Pearson Sound went through the catalogue with the idea of putting his distinctive sound to one of these classic NYC house jams. As one third of the team behind the Hessle Audio label, David Kennedy's Pearson Sound moniker has become synonymous with cutting edge UK dancefloor music. The result of this collaboration between Nervous and Kennedy is his remix of 'Learn 2 Luv,' released on 12' vinyl on Dec 9 on Nervous Records.
On the flip side is an equally forward thinking remix by Supernova of a classic Nervous release, the Black Moon hip hop anthem 'How Many Emcee's (Must Get Dissed),' re-titiled 'Must Get This.' Supernova are an Italian DJ team andproduction duo consisting of 'Emijay' Nencioni and Giacomo 'G.O.D.I' Godi. They have been a force in house music over the past decade, both through their highly popular remixes and productions and their label Lapsus.
Nervous has been unique throughout its 25 lifespan in its ability to release genre - defining music in many different areas of music, including house, hip hop and techno. That openness to new sounds is well represented in this remix, where Supernova has masterfully combined a storming house music track with a vocal from one of NYC's most famous MC's, Buckshot of Black Moon.
