Helsinki based HPTY Recordings run by TREVOR DEEP JR. celebrates and honors Finnish dance music and some of its champions operating close to the main source by releasing an anniversary double vinyl package of underground rhythms cross the genres!

Bruno Pronsato hat schon länger erfolgreich Erwartungen in der Techno- und House-Szene untergraben. Im früheren Leben war er Schlagzeuger einer Speed-Metal-Band mit einer ernsthaften Leidenschaft für Zwölftonmusik. 2005 zog er nach Berlin und eroberte die Aufmerksamkeit der elektronischen Musikwelt mit seiner LP "Why Can't We Be Like Us". Pronsato kehrt nun mit seinem neuen Album zurück ins Rampenlicht. In Zusammenarbeit mit Yonatan Levi hat er "A Face Wasted On The Theatre" geschrieben und produziert. Diese Verbindung ist bereits bestens eingespielt: Seit 2014 arbeiten die beiden immer wieder zusammen. Das neue Album entstand in zwei verschiedenen Studios im Prenzlauer Berg, der Wahlheimat des Texaners Steven Ford, wie Pronsato bürgerlich heißt, - und zwar meist nachmittags und nicht etwa in tiefer Nacht. Auf sechs der acht Songs ist Levi alias L.A.Teen erneut am Bass zu hören, weitere Gäste sind der Komponist und Produzent Peter Gordon und der israelische Saxofonist Yonatan Yudkowitz. Auch Levi stammt aus Tel Aviv und ist klassisch ausgebildeter Gitarrist und Bassist. Er ging einst in die USA und machte sich in der New Yorker Jazz-Szene einen Namen.

Derek Carr is a name known by few and far between, with only a handful of vinyl releases in the early 2000s, he built a worthy but unfortunately not widely-spread reputation for putting together stunning deep techno. Originally pressed in finite numbers, the records have recently found themselves in demand on Discogs, and rightly so, Derek's music is in a class of its own. Having been a big fan since his releases on then local (to label owner Ben) Leeds label Geek records, For Those That Knoe has dug deep into the archives to put together a sizeable selection of Derek's back catalogue, with some unreleased gems dotted amongst the classic must-haves, spread across three EPs Part two of three in Derek's series kicks off with a Destiny, a driving deep techno funk filled jam, originally released on Derek's label Trident. Bob is a spacey and sparse melodic electro gem taken from the unreleased archives. L'Equipe on the flip was one of the standout cuts on Derek's solo EP on Headspace Recordings, pure unadulterated deep house. Museum Piece is a groovy ambient electro jam ripped from DAT and slotted into the B2.

Having worked together as "Thrinax" in the past, Prague's duo Exhausted Modern & Aliver collected their solo material for Endless Illusion's second white label series. Their complimentary sonic languages speak in slow, percussive rhythms, sadistic, industrial sounds, and uptight bass lines transmitted through a chain of pedal effects. The track "Project Germs - Cuatone" is another one of Aliver's collaborations.

Vinyl only w/ Mike Huckaby remix. Jorge Caiado's new 'Cycles' EP, offers 3 strong versions of title theme plus a remix by Detroit legend Mike Huckaby. A house/techno manifesto that takes his artistic vision one step further, placing him as a cutting edge producer internationally supported by the likes of Move D and others. From Lisbon via Detroit, 'Cycles' will make any worldwide dancefloor take a peak. So grab it, play it and check the results.

The second release on Black Wattle comes from Sydney's Liam Ebbs. The EP, A Child's Guide to Groove', is a more dancefloor oreintated offering from the label. Breaks, a wonderful sense of groove, spacious pads and a great understanding of melody all feature on this 12. It is also Liam's first time being pressed on wax, he has featured previously on a tape from Australian label Ken Oath Records. The highly anticipated third installment of the Sounds from the Den series returns via Friday Fox Recordings - hitting on Vinyl in early 2017.The release kicks off with an understated and rather sensual outing from Christian B & Lavvy Levan; 'Through The Night' combines subtle classic vocal snips with sultry jazz piano chords and an addictive off-beat bassline.
Russia's Promonova serves up his first ever track for Friday Fox; 'Feel Alright This Morning' expertly delivers a high-energy percussive journey, perfectly complimented by some sprightly and authentically gospel vocals.
'No Trouble' has a fresh and dark lick courtesy of Riki Inocente. Bordering on a tech-style, Riki takes this well-known vocal track down a path less travelled with a deep bassline and eerie strings laid over straight and solid percussion.
And finally, the HUGE 'Heat' from Rapson gets a much-welcomed edit, stretching the track to a DJ friendly length, and features some added beef thanks to new percussion arrangements. Fire.

Secretsundaze one of London's most well known and best loved DJ duos have consistently followed their hearts not the hype. Their party of the same name is still standing tall after 16 years and as DJs they have played many of the best clubs worldwide. It's only in the last year that they have made it into the studio together having both produced previously separately. Giles as Two Armadillos with the much missed Martin Dawson and James alongside both Marco Antonio Spaventi and Dan Berkson.

'Still Hope' is their second single and the follow up to 'Motorway Jam' (their double A side with Palms Trax from late last year) which sees them collaborate with Anthony Anaxagorou, a British born Cypriot award winning poet and essayist, whose poetry and fiction have appeared on BBC Newsnight, BBC4, ITV and Vice. Hearing his lyrics via their good friend Simbad, Secretsundaze connected with Anthony and 'Still Hope' is the fruit of their labour.

The original is a potent and political spoken word piece delivered over a rolling house groove. Definitely one for the deeper moments with its late night heady feel and full vocal not letting up. The 'Poems in the Heart' floor version strips the vocal back and adds dramatic strings for a more direct dance floor approach.

Ex Slum Village Detroit producer Waajeed released a couple of killer EPs in 2017 on his own Dirt Tech Reck imprint so we had to get him aboard for the remix. His 'Detroit Hardcore Dub' does what is says on the tin and is a peak time slammer while his 'Searching Dub' goes down a jazzier, spacey route with live sounding drums and dreamy pads.

After a brief time away from releasing music in 2017 to refresh his ears, essential house artist Argy is back with a bang in 2018, as this debut EP on Play It Say It proves.

Greek DJ and producer Argy has been a prolific talent over the last decade plus, releasing a variety of sounds under a number of different aliases. His given name has always been reserved for house and techno, which is classically informed but always infused with the sound of the future. It's come on key labels like Bedrock, BPitch, Ibadan, and most recently The Martinez Brothers' Cuttin' Headz imprint, and has spawned four fantastic full lengths. Those releases, along with his storytelling DJ sets, have made the These Days label boss a much loved and ever-present part of the global underground scene.

The excellent title track 'The Way of Kings' opens up the EP with seven standout minutes of surging house. Slick, powerful kicks drive it along as expertly crafted synths bring real drama and tension up top. It's a tasteful bit of hi-tech soul for the peak of the night and is as essential as the title suggests.

Switching up the mood is the vibrant 'Los Animales', which has a busier, afro tinged groove and tribal percussive energy. Lithe synths dart about to add dynamism and movement as vocal chants get you on your toes and the whole thing is sure to make a huge impact in the club.

Last of all, 'Move Like A Panther' featuring the New Yorker in Berlin, Elbee Bad, shows another side to Argy. It's a perfectly raw house cut with plenty of jacking Chicago spirit. The drums hit hard, the synths are trippy and the snares force you to move. Add in a dark bassline and spoken word mantras and you have a real piece of explosive club dynamite.

These are three typically inventive and well-executed tracks from Argy that are stuffed with original ideas.

For the 11th release 7777 presents the Ghost Miners Remixes. For these remixes I offered each producer samples from different songs from the 2 Ghost Miners records. Instead of doing straight forward remixes of a single song, I put forth the proposal for each artist to make their own version of a Ghost Miners song from scratch or using any samples they feel like. Contributors include 3 of my favorite producers. 2 in demand artists, FIT Siegel and Andreas Gehm and one new comer, Brian Thrash. Andreas Gehm's version is a standard acid Gehm gem. Calling in the chords from the originals mixed with standard Gehm acid brilliance. In FIT Siegel's version you'll find the perfect pure underground dance sound. Featuring Ray-7 on hand drums FIT constructs a remix that combines elements of classic Detroit and Chicago sound while keeping the attitude and acid aesthetic of the original material. On the B side Brian Thrash, controlling his analogue arsenal, takes you on an epic acid journey traversing through the underground and space. Thank you for your time. - Jared Wilson

New year, new release for Burnin Music. After 2 strong EPs in 2017 (Ponty Mython BM001 and Leonidas + Kay Suzuki BM002) Burnin Music first release of 2018 features the first EP of an up-and-coming British artist called Michael Iwatsu also featuring a remix by German producer, SoulPhiction. Fracture (Original mix) is a 10 mins long journey. A beautiful odyssey between beats and harmony, between intuitive dance floor and subtle emotions. The main piano brings a perfect balance to the stomping house kick & drum. And as the journey continues, the trip develops leading to more sonic ventures. Exciting, touching, pure, Fracture (Original Mix) is a very balanced track. On the flip side, house music master Soulphiction accomplishes the task to bring the track into a dark basement. His remix is a condensed version of everything that makes the original track an emotional one and also add a Detroit twist: it becomes a raw, moody and very intuitive sonic object. A tool for the dancefloor.

In The Summer Of 2017, Cognitiva Records, Label Runned By Sofatalk, Became Aware Of The Project And Decided Without Hesitating To Press 1,2,3, Original Tracks Of The Release the Ambassador's Way Ep'.

The Compositions Are A Combination Of The Electronic Drums Of Dj Rou (mpc, Korg Electribe And Other Gears), The Contrabass And The Guitar Of Lachi + Thomaspizzini, Better Known As Lite Orkestra.

The Result Is A Hybrid Exuberance Between Jazz, Afro And The Experimental Flow That Derives From The Roots Of The Jam Sessions.

'Reasons" marks Fort Romeau's first full solo release since 2016's 'Secrets & Lies' on Live At Robert Johnson, having previously released records with Ghostly International, Running Back and his own Cin Cin imprint.
The title track sees the development of the producer's interest in playing with the human voice, developing a harmonic and rhythmic hook which builds to a crescendo of wailing synths.
'C.E.M' is a focused dance floor workout built around syncopated sequences which ebb and flow creating a constantly evolving pattern of tension and release.
On the final track 'Satellite 2' a pair of beautiful duelling sequences unfurl giving a sense of weightlessness and provide the perfect epilogue to a record that marks the continuing evolution of the producer's unique sound.

Following on from the release of FBA21 Collected Works 1996 -2017, which was released November 2017 Matthew Puffett decided to wrap up the project, with a handpicked selection of artists to remix key tracks from the compilation. Amongst these figures are some significant influences on Puffett`s early years The set includes Kirk Degiorgio, whose reworking of 'Cross Dissolve' reimagines the track in full machine mode, serving up a slab of driving techno for the main room. A fan since the early 90s, Kirk and Matt have been in contact over the years, culminating to this powerful re-creation. Steven Rutter (B12) has also reworked 'Cross Dissolve', but in contrast to Degiorgio, Rutter's mix brings out an almost abstracted, ambient mood, a characteristically expressive and textured piece from one of the leading figures in UK electronica. Hardway Bros, Sean Johnston (Andy Weatherall's partner in 'A Love From Outer Space) tackles 'Mourning', a piece of melancholic euphoria. In typical Johnston style, Sean slows it all down, bringing it to a mid-tempo Balearic vibe. A big influence on Matthew in the 1990s, Lee Grainge used to work at the infamous Fat Cat records. A renowned arbiter of sounds, Grainge turned Matt onto countless records from Detroit and beyond, which was crucial in shaping FBA's sound. Here, he remixes 'Diagram', in a manner reminiscent of classic dub techno, Basic Channel. Another influence on FBA's sound is former Eevo Lute Muzique boss from Eindhoven, Stefan Robbers. FBA recorded a mini album for EevoNext in 2009, and the pair team up again here to reinvent 'Machines Can Help'.

The Night Noise aka Enrico Mantini teams up with Assemble Music to reissue the hard to find classic "Hypnotizer Ep' originally out on the Italian label Marcon Music in 1995!

Fort Romeau returns with his first 12' of 2018 following a string of releases on Live at Robert Johnson, Running Back and Ghostly International as well as appearances on compilations from Rush Hour, Cocoon, and Mule Musiq.

On the A side, 'Pablo' unfurls with swirling arpeggios which build to a euphoric crescendo while the more heady 'Terracotta' explores polyphonic syncopated FM sequences and ambiguous chord progressions.

Radio Slave's colossal 'The Revenge' track now gets expert remix treatment from Klasse Wrecks label head Luca Lozano.

Luca has also released on the likes of Optimo, Sex Tags UFO and Unknown to the Unknown and brings a raw, acid tinged sound to his beats. As a performer Lozano's versatile DJ sets span between raw house, cosmic disco and dynamic breakbeat selections, which is why he's become a regular at key clubs across
Europe and tasteful festivals like Houghton.

His 'How Bow Dis' Remix' is solid and features wild old school flavours in its huge drum breaks, a monstrous bassline and dark filtered vocals. It bangs for seven superbly heavy minutes with plenty of twists and turns along the way, and will transform any club or warehouse into a writhing, sweaty mass in seconds.

On the flip, his 'How Bow Dah'' version is based around elastic drums and rumbling bass while a loose synth line darts about up top. Some distant synths bring a sense of serenity to the madness and so despite the physical impact of this one, it also has real emotion to it.

Disco Deviance continue to unearth those secret DJ weapons that will really set your dance floor on fire.

Leftback 013 introduces a contemporary series dedicated to bringing through new artists and friends of the label. Internal Connections Volume 1' delivers 4 tracks of stripped back grooves, dark melodic tones and organic instrumentation. Dudley Strangeways & Michael McLardy set the trend on A1 with a building roller using delayed stabs from the main hook that teases its way in towards the end of the track. A2 is by Midlands based DJ and producer Bunny, who plays regular slots at Birmingham's Rainbow venues as well as being resident for Social Underground and has played alongside the likes of Raresh, Fuse, East End Dubs & Sonja Moonear. Bunny supplies a stripped back groove focusing on the rhythm, with intricate hi hat patterns that counter with the bassline. Szymon Wnuk provides nine minutes of deep and twisted minimal for B1 that uses sparse rising base and an understated kick drum that carries the track. B2 welcomes Leftback resident Chris Boardman on his production debut that rounds the EP off with a heavier techno leaning feel that compliments the rest of the EP well. VINYL ONLY.

After more than 10 years of making music it's finally time for legendary stockholmian Måns Glaeser´s solo debut. In his baggage you´ll find everything from the 2012 album with Stay Gold that included the hits 'Backseat'(the most played track on Swedish radio the year of the release) and Wallpaper that was topping charts around Europe to feautures on Karlovak and Velvet Pony with label head Art Alfie to tours around the world with Savage Skulls. He´s also involved with 'Of The Meds', a swedish house group with a couple of EPs out and more music coming up on Studio Barnhus.

This includes three varied tracks. First out is the french filter house burner 'Velvet Tony'. followed by the suave swing of 'Angelina' and rounded with the organic headiness of 'o.0.O'.

New to the All Day I Dream team is Newman. His name literal. This New York based artist is at the beginning of what we believe will be a long career both through his emotive productions and compelling beautiful DJ sets.The release itself sits at the more dance floor oriented end of the label. Both - Breath Of The Souls' and - The Long Journey' have been truly tried and tested at this point. Solid grooves, wailing middle eastern emotive lady voices and strings. For our events, these are the peak time anthems.The EP also features 'When The Leaves Fall', closing out the release in blissful style, and a warm welcome for Newman to our All Day I Dream family.
