'Love Injection' is the latest instalment from Glitterbox Recordings, the one and only 21st century disco. Selected by label boss Simon Dunmore, the eight-track double 12' package showcases the finest producers making disco and dancefloor-ready house cuts in the here and now. Rapson, Reverendos Of Soul, BB Boogie, David Harness and Sísý Ey make up some of the contemporary contingent proving that the disco spirit is alive and well. Simon has also included respectful nods to the golden-era voices of Gwen Guthrie and CeCe Rogers.
'Love Injection' sets the disco standard while diving into contemporary dancefloor fillers. A brand new cut for the compilation, Rapson's 'Heat' is one of the standout tracks of the last six months. The Disclosure-esque house favourite has been remixed by OPOLOPO, transforming it into a fine disco cut. A compilation exclusive, Sísý Ey 'Restless' is a glittering highlight, given a thumping 4/4 injection from the Crazy P crew.
One of the classic inclusions is Gwen Guthrie 'It Should Have Been You', a garage staple perfected by Larry Levan. Rounding off the timeless moments on side C is 'It Must Be Love' by Alton McClain & Destiny, produced by Northern Soul cult hero Frank Wilson. Simon discovered this gem when it was played by Horse Meat Disco; a memorable Glitterbox moment captured in style on 'Love Injection'. Another song broken in on the decks at a Glitterbox party, Simon first heard the sound of David Harness 'We Got It' when it was played by Louie Vega in London. The simple and hypnotic groove brings things bang up-to-date. Defining the true meaning of 'dance music' in 2018, 'Glitterbox - Love Injection' is here to move your body and your soul.

Matuss continue to deliver deep and soulful techno via her vinyl only imprint Absence Seizure, which she helms alongside Abe Duque.
Opening with 'Whistler', Matuss delivers heavyweight bass tones, dubbed out drums and obscure synthesiser transitions before 'Zoya The Destroyer' provides eerie atmospheres, crisp percussion and subtle mid-range motifs which sit on top of a melodic low-end.
On the flip side we have 'Stranger things', which sets an ominous tone with murky ambiences and ethereal pads underpinned by a powerful kick, rumbling sub-bass and percolating rhythms to close the release.
R&S welcomes Acid Mondays for a 12" of lysergic house music that reaches far into the outer cosmos.
Formed "somewhere in the 5th dimension' Acid Mondays is the cosmic coalition of fellow psychonauts Negghead (Dan Ward) and Lex Wolf (Alex Wolfenden).
Repeated transformative visits to Ibiza culminated in landing regular slots at Circoloco where they have been testing this tune in the dance all Summer long.
'Universal Rhythm', their latest interstellar dispatch and debut on R&S is their finest work to date. An anthemic paean to the cosmos that features an impassioned spoken word missive from shamanistic MC Shovell, impressively recorded in a single take, making the case for the universality of experience and oneness of all beings.
Latin rhythms fuse with a driving Fender Rhodes lick (provided by JD73) and percolating cow bells to hypnotic effect. This calls to mind a combination of classic Carl Craig and Villalobos at his most playful. R&S new signing The Maghreban supplies a killer dubbed out take on the original that strips away the heavy kicks and pumps up the percussion, hurtling the synth pads to the fore that comes on like John Carpenter peaking on MDMA.

Wild Oats proudly presents the triple LP entitled From Joy by Kyle Hall. The title is derived from the idea of finding a way to live life in a state of presence; detaching oneself from the mental, self imposed narratives echoed by society's traditions and judgements. We as people tend to be at our most honest and present in our childhood, so in some ways From Joy serves as a mechanism and reminder to return to one's youthful energetic state.
The 8- track album, all produced before 2010, is a homage to where Kyle lived at the time in his father's basement on the westside of Detroit on Joy Rd.

The first release of 2018 on the 'Feel My Bicep' label welcomes back Hammer for his first solo outing on the imprint, 'C-Space EP'.
Having collaborated with Bicep on 'Dahlia' back in 2015 - a glistening EP that soared through myriad clubs into the wantlists of many-a-fervid Discogs user - Hammer is now granted space to stretch his legs and does so across 3 galactic tracks.
'C-Space', 'Atlantic 252' and 'Inside Soul' all play with rich, sweeping chords, 80s synth lines and sharp analogue drums - a blend that lends them perfectly to the Feel My Bicep catalogue.
'C-Space EP' comes as the first 'Feel My Bicep' release since the success of Bicep's self-titled debut album.

Outstrip present their second release on their own label Outstrip Wax, a vinyl only project that launched at the tail end of last year. The Ukrainian duo bring punchy, club-focused house with a subtle, lightness of touch to 4-tracker Booben EP.
Title track 'Booben' is stripped back house, featuring swirling synths and squelchy beats. Fuse affiliate Seb Zito provides a cracking remix of Outstrip's 'Salat', opting for a low slung, hypnotic rhythm that permeates the brain. On the flipside, 'Pravak' is all tight percussion matched with a trippy, spaced out melody that will keep dance floor's moving long after peak hour. On remix duty, the highly underrated French-producer, Okain, accentuates the tracks trippier elements around broken beats and stuttered drum patterns.
Supported by:
2VILAS (Wax Isgud)

Having carved out a reputation for some of the finest cosmic house productions on labels like Omena, Dirt Crew and Quintessentials, the Lithuanian based producer delivers three new cuts on this release, which comes ably backed by a remix from Italian producer Fabrizio Mammarella.
On the title track, Alex Pletnev (Ponty Mython), goes for breezy synths and wandering melodies over a chugging mechanical beat and an FM style bassline, whilst Fabrizio Mammarella (Bear Funk/Les Disques De La Mort) toughens things up slightly on his remix, plunging into a darker sound aesthetic for a great reinterpretation of the original.
On 'Time Spiral' an unhurried groove is laced with layer upon layer of meditative synths and percussive rolls for a fat dose of eighties soundtrack vibes, whilst EP closer, 'Appreciate It While It's Not Too Late', settles down to a head-nodding pace with funky bass and key melodies and live drum samples for a real earworm of a track.

Emotional Rescue returns to the the work of remix specialists extraordinaire, Razormaid, with a special collection of their remixes of cold wave / dark wave synth band, Psyche. Featuring unreleased, re-edited and remastered versions of some of the bands most club-based tracks on one EP for the first time. Formed in 1982 in Edmonton, Canada by Darrin and Stephen Huss out of love of the new electronic sounds emanating out of Europe, Psyche soon forged their own path. Influenced by the industrial and post-punk sounds of bands like Killing Joke and Alien Sex Fiend, as well as the synth pop melodies of groups like Soft Cell and Yazoo, the brothers help precipitate the start of darker electronic "goth" sound. Following the success of their self released debut, Insomnia Theatre, ripples across the water in Europe led to it subsequently being picked up and rereleased by French label New Rose. Coming to Paris in 1986 to record the follow up, Unveiling The Secret, they heard that San Francisco based edit / remix protagonists Razormaid had created a re-edit of the title single for one of their own DJ tool compilations. Liking what they heard, a deal was strike allowing future tracks to come under the remixers scalpel and special versions created from the master recordings. With this came a new remix of Unveiling The Secret and also, early single, Prisoner Of Desire, with both only appearing on the increasingly sought after Razormaid DJ series. Impressed with the results, Joseph Watt was then commissioned to work his mixing desk skills on the band's follow up 12". Included here, Watt's classic "US Club Mix" of Eternal is the perfect marriage of Psyche's poppier elements with Razormaid's mastery of finding the groove. This is backed with the tougher, throbbing - and never released on 12" before - "Alcatraz Mix" retake of Prisoner Of Desire. On the reverse sees the collaboration between Psyche and Razormaid continue today with a specially reworked version of Watt's re-edit of Unveiling The Secret. Additional arranging by Darrin Huss sees the lyric and structure return to that of the original album version to unique effect. To close is the specially extended mix of Ecstasy from the Intimacy album - which itself was produced, edited and mixed by Joseph Wyatt - a version only ever released on Razormaid DJ Promo until now!

Another brace of bangers from World Unknown Music, we're all really pleased with how this one turned out. Big and fat and disco-ready, mastered by Andy Blake and Lawrie Curvepusher via tape.
side X THEO NASA - LSTNBRGHN
World Unknown and Theo Nasa first crossed paths in Andres Branco's vintage designer clothes emporium, Wavey Garms. The conversation started with rare Moschino coats and then led to Mr Nasa's music and the fact that Richie Hawtin had just jumped on one of his digital releases. We're really chuffed to be releasing Theo's vinyl debut. It's a pounding big room monster inspired by his first experiences of a certain Berlin nightclub. Theo Nasa will be a big deal sometime soon, there's no doubt about that. Make sure you get on this now so you can tell all your mates how you have been into him for ages.
side Y TRAYNOR - SUNWARD
"Can I send you some tracks to listen to I'd love to get some feedback from you". Not an especially odd request for a DJ these days. But it's a very nice surprise when literally every track in an 8 track demo package from someone who has never put any music out before is brilliant. Messrs Bowley and Blake had real trouble deciding which one to choose for Traynor's debut release and eventually went to Sunward. It's trippy and shimmering with a ton of pump. Trancey but not trance, or maybe it is. The kind of thing that lights up your night in a club and gets played again and again at home or in the car

Teddy Douglas, DJ Spen and Maurice Fulton don their "Those Guys"alias and invite Jean-Luc Ponty to jump head first into their sampler down in Baltimore to show some love, love, love and the result is this amazing 12" originally released on Basement Boys Records in 1996.
A truly deep beauty of a track that utilises Ponty's violin from 1983's "Computer Incantations for World Peace" to the absolute maximum in over ten minutes of building bliss, "Love Love Love" is an under the radar classic, a true gem and a real treat for all DJ's to play. The alternate mixes and bonus beats are also great, DJ Spen's "Balto Doo Doo Mix" for example, keeping it thoroughly B-More with the old school breakbeats and snatches of the original sample jumping through the mix from time to time make this an essential weapon in any record bag!
This 12" has been re-mastered and re-pressed in conjunction with The Basement Boys.

On a chance encounter whilst producing in Nashville of all places, Zepherin was so blown away by vocalists he was using to do backing on a project, that he immediately felt inspired to record a new version of Raphael Saadiq's classic Skyy, Can You Feel Me. Originally used in his sets as an edit, Zepherin had the soulful house community going into a frenzy with hopes for its release.
Tried and tested on dance floors around the globe in his sets it's now primed and ready for release.

This is a really special record for label boss APOENA, as he show us his sampling art work as never before. Being a brazilian producer him self, he delivers a 4-tracker colection of sofisticated deep house versions of intrumental brazilian music from the 70's and 80's. This is a jewel for bar and pub events or any Deep House dancefloors.

'Edmondson first came to my attention with his Lobster Theramin distributed release, Flamingo Tripper, on his own label 'Lissoms'.
Or so I thought...
Turns out he was actually a guy who used to serve me in one of my favourite pubs in Newcastle.
Back in those days he was a dub step / drum and bass kid, and as per the trend with all of those guys, he's now showing the house heads how its done, with a much keener feel for sound design, groove and a better ear for a sample than 90% of us lazy people who cut our teeth on a 4/4 beat.
Edmondson (or Sean as I did know him... and how I know him once again) is really one of the most exciting producers out there right now for me, and I couldn't be happier that we've reconnected and he's kindly allowed Me Me Me to present some of his amazing music.
"We Have Love' is an instant classic, and PSG is a work of pure emotive art.
To remix We Have Love, I've enlisted Dauwd (fresh from his amazing Album on Technicolour). Sean suggested him, and I jumped on the suggestion as he was one of the first people I met when I moved to Berlin 4 years ago, and I've been trying to figure out a way of working with him since.
He takes a We Have Love down a kind of more delicate and steppy route. It's very pretty, but also really makes you want to dance.
To remix PSG I asked ASOK. Again, I thought I first met ASOK about 7 or 8 years ago, when he came and played for a party I used to throw in Newcastle. After becoming good friends over the years, we got chatting and it turned out that we were both in Magaluf in 1998, and may have actually been involved in the same street brawl. Thats not something either of us are proud of, but its definitely food for thought.
I'm biased, but I think his remix is my favourite thing he's ever done, and I LOVE everything he's touched musically to date, so thats probably an even bigger endorsement than it first seems.
His version is BIG.'

Hoj's EP on All Day I Dream has been a long time coming. After over 15 years as a DJ, this EP marks Hoj's first official release. Telefade is a track that Hoj had been evolving for some time. After a final session with Modd, Hoj took the track to Burning Man where he played it for the first time. Lee Burridge heard it and signed the tune on the spot. Featuring haunting vocals from Amega. The second track on the EP is called Leap Day, named for the day in 2016 that Hoj began it. Made for sunrises and sunsets, the tune weaves through lush melodies with a bounce. Powel's delicate and refined touch brings a sophistication to Leap Day.

D.KO Records regular Mad Rey joins Rekids with a pair of deep house cuts this March.
The Parisian producer and Red Lebanese co-founder started releasing music as Mad Rey in 2014, providing D.KO Records with their second release (having already contributed to the D.KO01 various artists EP under his real name Quentin Leroy).
He now joins Rekids with a solid two track package initiating with 'In My House N°6', a lively slice of house featuring funky bass licks and jazz influenced melodies complete with a compelling groove. On the flip, 'L'orage (Dub)' 'L'orage (Dub)' slows down the tempo whilst exhibiting sampled strings, crunchy snares and twinkling effects.
There is no doubt that Bobby Moore is an absolute F***ing legend, and a true icon R.I.P. A hero who lifted the World Cup for England at Wembley. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders of all time, and was cited by Pele as the greatest defender that he had ever played against. A leader of the highest quality and a true inspiration to us all. We would love to say that Neil Diablo shares these traits and acomplishments but his Bewuda EP is tribute enough to one of Footballs gretaest ever captians. The EP itself is a remix record , the track is called Bewuda, and what a track it is . A 6 min trancy club banger. 808 drums all over the place give it a 90's vibe but with Mr Diablos signiture Italo feel. And what we can we say about his team mates . Coyote , Tiago & Dawn Again on the same record !! yes please !!!. The Coyote boys dont mess around at all .Straight into a ravey , sweeping banger. Teasing balaerica but keepng it a fully loaded dance floor bomb. Tiago does what Tiago does . His signiture sunshine vibe oozing out of the track from start to finish . The drums are something to behold and the piano riff drop packs a real punch. And last but not least our mate from Melbourne 'Dawn Again' tears up the track and brings us a classic weird re-triangluation in true banging Dawn Again fashion. Big record from team Rothmans for their 15th release!
Houston born, LA based producer, singer, and songwriter Seven Davis Jr. brings his unique blend of smooth vocals, rough beats, and funky attitude to Jay Simon's Must Have Records for his debut solo EP. Snad aka Shyam Anand is an artist from Chicago of Indian descent. He just moved to Berlin. And this is his first release on Suol. His debut EP for us is a three-tracker and absolute quality. Its title 'Home Away From House' alludes to a musical career spanning three continents and to the 'most enlightened circles', as Snad puts it, 'who still travel the Silk Roads and who take their underground seriously -- wherever they call home'. What this means becomes apparent quickly as the title track drops us straight into a softly stabby, hypnotic little sequence on top of an elegantly subtle combination of a drum machine groove and synth bass. Things build up patiently with luscious delayed chords before rising strings transport us to a beautiful place where the Goa sun shines onto the streets of Chicago. Just like all tracks on the EP, 'Cut!!!' is purely instrumental but it doesn't need words to tell its story. Clever drum programming and cool reverbs are in perfect harmony with a melodic bass riff and a silky, modulating analogue lead that guides us to the end with a smile.
'Deep Looking', the EP's final track, has a solid groove at its centre and some delicious ear candy around it. Syncopated toms and claps join forces with a fast hi-hat pattern to provide plenty of momentum for this otherwise dreamily floating acid house number.
