House Vinyl New Releases - News

The identity of Belgian mystery man Beton is a complete mystery to us. What we do know is that Twin Turbo owner/assistant webmaster Tiga has called this record the best release of the past five years. Even when you consider that Tiga believes he experiences time differently from the rest of us, that still means the soundtrack of your life for the past half-decade has been straight-up garbage in comparison. Since most DJs won't even listen to a record if they don't like the track descriptions, we realize a lot is riding on the next paragraph. Acid-electro bomb "Directions" is a collaboration with Wevie Stonder, who call themselves an "absurdist electronic music collective," which you'd have to agree sounds like a lot of fun. Meanwhile, "Keep Breathin" completely redefines the term "pump-bumpin' pumper," and features vocals from Dance Mania ghetto house legend DJ Deeon. Twin Turbo keeps puttin' hot MP3s in your pocket, offering maximum value for your hard-won digital nickels. As far as we know, you've earned it.

Mannella brings a rousing 12'' EP, enclosing a Sunil Sharpe's remix done with the forthright purpose of make you go ape.
The original mix of 'Nibiru Road' is a ever-changing techno story, told by a steady groove and such a badass kick-drum. A vitalizing ebb & flow of that rubbery synth and that melodic, a bit saturnine pad, that let you fly to the next Planet. 'Fourth Dimension' has been recorded from one of the Live performance that Mannella is doing under DAHRAXT alias. The hypnotic bubbly atmosphere created around that chopped pad, delivers this track to another dimension of delight, giving it a unexpected slant.
Sunil Sharpe doesn't need introduction, since his multiple releases on imprints such 'Trensmat', 'Labrynth', 'MORD', 'Mindcut', 'Inner Surface', 'Works the Long Night' , 'Black Sun Records' or his own 'On the Hoof' to name a few, have made him the well appreciated artist that today he's. With this rework he confirms how much enthralling his charisma is.JTS004 'It can only be attributable to human error.' cit.

Second release of the MTMU edit series (ETMU) with extended/remastered edits of an afro-disco anthem on the a-side and two Filipino 80's electro jams on the b-side, one of which a live cover of Afrika Bambaataa's Planet Rock. Pressed LOUD!

New 4 tracker from Cray76 (Joakim's evil Techno twilight twin). More heat from - NYC based label, CROWDSPACER.

Tokyo Horoki (Tokyo wanderings) is a collection of tracks from pleasure cruiser's last two years living in Ota-Ku, Tokyo.

We are honored to present our third release and honored to have it in our Family Hailing from the early age of house music,

Enrico Mantini is internationally renowned as one of the founders of the deep house movement.

Valencia based label Discos Malvarrosa comes again with 4 new tracks of Five Points, the young talent Claude Chabrol and a remix of the Berlin based duo Kyodai. Very serious EP with a lot of work behind, Valencia is here.

Piff Records continues to unravel its catalogue by calling on an artist slightly closer to home. Cardiff-based Harrison BDP adds to his already prolific discography with an EP that spans from mellow dub techno vibrations, all the way up to wide-open, rave-driven acid riffs.

SJ Tequilla's debut 12". A beautiful melancolic four tracker house record from the Japanese producer. Includes a DJ DOG and Jayda G remix.

Jacky makes his debut appearance on the growing label Keep It Zen Records and kicks off 2015 by taking you on a journey with his sensational 'Nineteen EP', featuring 3 peak time dance floor hitters, all with that unique 'Jacky' signature sound he is becoming well known for.

'Nineteen' simply goes off! It's a straight up emotional tech-house love affair blended with erotic female moans, hearty synthesisers and a driving clockwork bass line that doesn't stop. 'Beyond' holds an infectious groove throughout with a chunky rolling bass line, which we love. This banger then breaks down in the centre with Jacky's, yet again, consistent and electric synth work used to take you in a different direction of his journey.
'Mute' a straight up bomb with swagger kicks off the B-side of this relentless record.

The dubby kick drum combined with Jacky's low-fi moody bass and the euphoric melody of strings makes this track big and bumpy. System2, made up of vinyl lovers Tez Hurst and Danny Hevingham, who are signed to the likes of VIVa MUSIC, Kaluki Musik and their own imprint also called System2 join the Keep It Zen family and display just how mature their sound is. Clearly sticking to no rules but their own System2 jolt and bounce through their remix of 'Mute' in an almost improvised and live fashion.

A lot of love went into this record, and thought was put into every inch of this release.

Even the tracks names are not a coincidence, as Jacky tells us the story of his journey pursuing a career as an electronic artist. 'Nineteen' is the age he was when he took a loan out and bought his first pair of turntables, 'Beyond' is the name of a bar where he played his first ever gig in his hometown Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and 'Mute' is the brand who took him on as a resident allowing him to play monthly at his favourite club as a youngster, Sankey's.

Four solid originals for various situations from the veteran of electronic music scene - Nima Gorji

Andrew Scott, aka NY*AK, Scott has remained a consistent representative of the music scene and we're delighted to have him on board for the first release of 2018 on Local Talk, Bound EP.

We're treated to four tracks, the opening track 'Bound' is a cut up, soulful disco house slammer.
Next up we got Dancing, a perfect example of Andrew's skill when it coms to slowing down the tempo but still letting the track have enough character to keep you...'dancing'.

On the flip we got 'See More' which takes you straight to a dark and gritty club with it's stuttering chords, tight drums and pulsing bass.
Last but not least we got 'Sandwiches' which features long time collaborator Ian Blevins.
A stunning low deep groove for any Theo Parrish or Marcellus Pittman fans out there.

New Kopf Artefakt single release by Robert Feedmann & Robot Needs Oil 'Bacanana' remixes First track is a "Korablove" remix, groovy bassline and overall dance-your-ass-off vibe topped with catchy vocal line and a giant breakdown with a bassline sliding perfectly through the beats, classic string work and robotic vocals adding emotion to a very driving journey into the land. To complete the package "MC&Hammer" Brooklyn based with collaboration of Max L is the second track, also deep and intense with pulsating synth bass, more of those soul vocals, a killer house beat and great key arrangements to wrap it up. Two amazing weapons that will make every disco ball spin with pride and joy.

Allez! Real Tone is back with another fresh new EP, full of deep flavours from two underground rebels. As always we're focused
on the highest quality and the best music, regardless of genre, regardless of style and most definitely not concerned with the
latest trends.
Our man at the controls for this journey into the depths of electronic music is Alland Byallo, a Los Angeles-born producer who
really hit his stride while living in San Franscisco. It was there where he became one of the team behind the west coast city's

legendary Kontrol parties, along with Sammy D from Pillow Talk, Greg Bird, Nikola Baytala, and Craig Kuna. The seminal events

gained all promoters worldwide notoriety and helped Alland to evolve his style. He's currently residing in Berlin where, of course,

he's really found himself musically so consider this new EP a cocktail of West Coast USA meets Berlin. A product of Alland's

melting pot upbringing, yet oh-so-cohesive and built for dancefloor workouts, as proven by his outings on labels such as Liebe*

Detail, Poker Flat, Dirt Crew and now Real Tone Records.

On Got It Wrong, Alland combines punchy beats with an infallible bassline, sturdy and energetic though not too imposing

Allowing the other elements of the track to do their work. Subtle synths bashfully creep into the fray, join by jaunty whirrs which

appear in the distance and a vocal that slowly but surely evolves, along with the track. Mesmerising twinkles dance around the

bassline and the vocals reaching a crescendo, which pulls you into a faultless breakdown keeping you hungry for more before

it delivers the ultimate understated drop. The track is over ten minutes, yet it feels like half that time, which is a credit to Alland's superlative production skills.
Deep house aficienado Alex Alvarez steps up for a remix and switches it up properly. Whereas Alland's original used its slow
yet steady evolution to create an engaging groove, Alvarez injects some verve into the track with irresistable 4x4 beats, a
repeated, spliced up vocal and a bassline that will have even the most uptight raver shaking their hips like there's no tomorrow.
Says Alex, 'I figured I could add something really nice by chopping up the vocals and other parts and put some of my NY/LA
Flavor in there. Wanted it to be a bit ruff and more tracky but still keep the coolness of Alland's original vibe. Just kept it simple
and not over do it keeping the groove right in the pocket.' Too true!
So there you have it, two different versions of the same sublime, groovy number. Take your pick, but rest assured, you're
Selecting quality all the way. Another Real Tone classic in the making!

'Discovery Change (Part 4)', is the second part (JR-002) of Daniël Jacques' tetralogy vinyl project. All songs on this part have been created between 2004 and 2016. This time, delivering a variation of (deep) house ('Daruma' and 'Astronomy'), techno ('The Opposite') and even hip-hop music ('Where U Are'). Again, the music is pressed on 180 grams vinyl (12 inch).

Second artist album on Omena comes from Church label head, Seb Wildblood.Six tracks that make a perfect blend of subtle changes in unique and musical beauty.
This stands alone as a product of total creative liberation and possibly one of the finest works from Seb yet.

2x12" Album !

* Over the past six years, Dimensions has become a leading name in the underground, with its festival, International Series, DJ Directory and Dimensions Soundsystem. Now, Dimensions extends its influence with the start of its label - Dimensions Recordings. The label launches with a 12-track compilation across three separate discs. 'An Introduction' makes a huge statement in setting out the label's intent and breadth. With artists established and new stepping up to present 12 exclusive tracks.

* An Introduction Part 2 turns the heat up with more dance floor leaning contributions from four American artists. From long established names such as Lady Blacktronika to relative newcomer Byron The Aquarius, each artist delivers a different but equally powerful piece. Marcos Cabral's 'Prochainement' is a driving, dubbed out melter with stomping kicks and big-room claps under fuzzy synths, whilst Byron The Aquarius drops his signature dose of funk into 'Full Moon'. One of the standout breakthrough artists of last year, the Atlanta producer has been part of the Dimensions team for some time. Queen of Beatdown, Lady Blacktronika steps up with a timeless, tripped-out house classic for her contribution 'Can We Still Be Friends', her vocal oozing melancholy. Rounding up is DJ Aakmael with 'Transit'; a raw, flexing cut that we've come to expect via his massively impressive output and his own superb imprint, UnXpozd Entertainment.

Long known as one of the most prolific and outstanding producers when it comes to dancefloor oriented techno and tech house influenced tracks, we are more than happy to present Derek's Liquid industries EP'.

Ranging from the dubby influences of Theta', the detroit laced Solar Storm' & Sub System 7', or the joyful escapism of Exodus II', we bring you the glory of past days into the light of the new age of electronic music through heavy hitting kicks & basslines, rhytmic melodies and lush harmonies. Early support from Raresh...

Making more and more noise everyday. zinc RECORDS are proud to present to you their debut vinyl release.
Receiving respect and support since birth for its carefully picked catalogue of house music its a pleasure to announce that zinc will be releasing the highly demanded "Make Luv" by Emery Warman on 12 inch.
Make Luv proved to be a Marco Carola anthem in 2016 as it continuously shook dance floors across the globe with its powerful energy, special vocals & signature drop.
The B side Alright is a perfect modern sounding contrast with its groovy bassline and unique synth that takes you on a journey alongside the textbook Emery groove.

The third cut on Kalahari Oyster Cult comes from Erell Ranson, a producer who combines the subtleties and depths of UK electronics with the groove of the US. Hand in Hand EP is a transatlantic marriage of machine music. Warm sounds abound, lush pads and textured tones accompanied by pulsing toms and clean claps. Melodies are flexible, bending and giving as moods change and harmonies unfold in effortless shifts. Let Ranson take you, Hand in Hand, to hear the beauty of the machine.

children are laughing and playing in the back, a baby screams happily: handsome field recordings welcome the listener to the final chapter of fred p's fp-oner trilogy for mule musiq.
the opening tune is called smiles, so children's laughter fit the mode. the idea is that smiles and cries are natural for children and as they grow to adulthood the reality becomes more, therefore the duality of life itself is obvious in the mood of the song.
the new york city native that is working on his very own music for almost 20 years explains about the beginning of his new album that features eleven tunes for deep meditative club use and beyond.
it brings the listener house music full of cosmic realities, odd jazzing moments, japanese spoken word pop, synth spheres for ambient use and an overall outer-national atmosphere, that handsomely dances between roughness and subtle tuned in deepness.
i chose to base this project on numbers in order to impart a bit of depth and substance. 5, 6 and 7 have a meaning in both the literal and esoteric sense. we as a species are a combination of matter and energy, so it is a matter of relating the two in harmony.
my experience as an artist expresses this. it's like a testimony to the human condition and how we relate to treat and mistreat one another. this view is the base of a philosophy that is close to me, be-cause art imitates life.
so rather than doing a project that highlights ego posture, my intent is more about what can i give to the listener. as a human being, as an artist, what can i share it's a part of a philosophical tug of war that goes a lot deeper than the expectation of what one might think a dance album or rather an elec-tronic music album should be.
it's food for thought, not candy and a soft drink, but real substance that stays with you.he reveals about the profundity of his trilogy. at large it is a journey inward, compelling, mesmerising and en-chanting.
for the final chapter fred p mostly produced in his studio in berlin on various synths and with a bunch of mysterious samples, all later organized and programmed in ableton. this project has a beginning mid-dle and end. the record 5 was intended to introduce a meditative energy within a rhythmic construct as the number 5 represents the dynamic and unpredictable.
the whole album carries the energy of that ilk. the album 6 is of an earthly and more harmonious dis-cord. i attempt to bring the inner conflict in the form of natural unnaturalness. the raw energy of the search in this project i think is self explanatory, which is the point i believe to show how flawed one can be but express very specific themes honestly.
finally, with 7 my goal is to merge the two into balance, as one focused state of mind as 7 is the thinker beyond understanding or beyond the illusion. this is my hope people take away from this: a feeling of growth, optimism and positive energy. we are dealing with vibrations every person resonates with, so the idea is where do you want to take that
what do you want to do with that as an artist you can do some good or some harm. for me i choose to give the best that i can and i hope that the people that participate get a sense of that.' true words by a kind and gentle soul that loves to speak in music.
they explain much and then leave things in the dark too, as he basically says: let the music play. so listen deeply, open your doors of perception, dance the atomic mess around, stay small, be true and don't forget: fp oner's music is a traveling zone with a universal meaning. it can mean many things to different people. but thus is the purpose of art.

"THIS RECORD DEFINITELY TAKES A BIT MORE OF A LAYERED APPROACH", - NATAN H OFFERS US YET ANOTHER UNIQUE, IMMERSIVE, AND CHARISMATIC RELEASE FOR ACID CAMP RECORDS

In the blink of an eye Steyoyoke nds itself approaching its second birthday. A lot has changed since the label rst emerged on the scene and tremendous strides have been taken in becoming a label to reckoned with on the scene. In mark of such efforts the label has put together its second Anniversary EP, featuring four remixes from four top artists on some of the labels highlights of the last year.

Play Again' was the title track and seducer of Soul Buttons engaging EP release earlier last year. Pete Oaks remix of this gritty affair carries the same devilish charm and attitude as the
original but with an added pinch. Gravitating around those, Pete Oaks remix packs a punch with couple of heavy drops.
Patrick Podage takes aim next with a well balanced remix of Florian Rietzes Treibholz'. A thunderous bassline surges this downtempo treasure into life, sending the elements scattering
across a progressive and steady groove. Contrasting strings keep the raw emotion within this dreamy landscape.

Brazilian pair Flow & Zeo take a strong hand to Soul Button and Saschs collaborative work Little People'. What was once a track that held a delicate touch, now holds charge as it moves
with purpose and alarm. Rising and falling with precision, Flow & Zeo produce a rollercoaster of a remix.

Wrapping things up is Stevie R and Ian Mckenzies remix of MPathys provocative I'm Yours'.

Emerging slowly out the blocks, the remix builds to become the eccentric jewel in the crown. Notes that appear drunk as they dance between a steady groove make this a quirky adventure for the ears. Maintaining the same enticing vocals and original tribal percussion help keep the heat.
All tracks will be available on vinyl from the 14th of February and in digital on the 10th of March with the additional Pete Oak dub remix of Play Again'. The 14th of March will see the label
hitting Ritter Butzke to celebrate their second birthday coinciding with the release of the Anniversary EP. All featuring artists will be playing their part in showing that there is still plenty more to come from Steyoyoke.

About DP:
Dilated Pupils is a collective group of likeminded friends home-based in the Netherlands. When forces are joined in one of their many studios each individual brings his own influences and styles to the table. Together they share a distinct flavor in productions and raw one-take jam sessions created with the use of analogue machines and often recorded on tape. Each of them have their own solo productions as well as other collaborations, but when united as Dilated Pupils they prefer to be known jointly as one entity with their own unique and distinguished sound. Since 2014 the group has developed an interesting and widespread discography with releases on labels such as Fear of Flying, Sol Asylum, Mode of Expression, Tabla, Music is Art, Dorcas, Make Sense and Mayak

Following up his limited edition white-label single on Sunday Money, Fosky returns to the label this time with his 'New Era EP'. The EP continues the journey from the first release with lush, deep vibes throughout all 3 original tracks. Vinyl-only as always for Sunday Money.
