The Jack's House radio show was born and created by Clara Da Costa in Ibiza in 2008. Now in its 8th year on Ibiza Sonica, Jack's House has also been hosting parties for Carl Cox at Space. The brand has been supported by many well respected DJ's such as DJ Sneak, Alex Arnout, Andrea Oliva, Mr.C, Tuccillo and many more. Karmon is presenting the second edition of Diynamic Music's "Picture:" series, an eclectic mix of mystic Deep House cuts. Diynamic Music's "Picture:" series is a document in time, showcasing an artist's current creative output in order to allow the listener to visualise and understand the artist at a certain moment. It is not an album format, but far more than merely an EP. Prima Norsk 1-3 was a series of compilation CD's released on Beatservice Records in 2000, 2003 and 2005. "Prima Norsk" was a slogan for Norwegian vegetables back then, meaning something like "1st class Norwegian". First adopted to a club concept, and then re-adopted for the compilations series. The concept for these compilations was to collect and present house-tracks from Norwegian producers, available on more or less limited vinyl 12"-ers on various European labels (some self-released), and a few exclusive tracks.

Now, the Norwegian house scene is more alive than ever, and thanks to the digital revolution, the worldwide availability is far better than it was at the time of Prima Norsk 1-3. Prima Norsk 4 is thus focusing on exclusive tracks from the vibrating scene of today. The compilation includes exclusive material from artist already familiar on the international house scene, along with fresh stuff from new names.

Black Booby is back with the Mighty Jordan Fields from Chicago, IL and Richard Rogers, London, UK for BB-09 4 tracks of retro inspired, raw, stripped machine music.Jordan's A1 blaster is pure Gherkinesq analogue, mind melting, building mayhem, designed for dancing Richard Rogers Debut on BB gives A2 a Workshop vs Detroit styled Bass workout with subtle paperclip percussion bringing up the rear. Black Booby tears up the seminal Kenji Tsujisaka produced Shinobi coin op level music to new club dance floor heights on B1, B2. Direct 8 bit coin op pressure with stripped 707, 808 and 909 rhythm sections. Retroactive music for arcade junkies.

Secretsundaze's 021 comes in the shape of a 2 tracker from Endian. For those that don't know Endian is the house/techno alias of George Levings most famously known as Commix (Metalheadz). Endian was of course responsible for the huge 'Finish Me' on Secretsundaze in 2015 which was included on mixes by the likes of Joy Orbison, Tessela and Scuba.As Endian he has released first rate tracks on the likes of Non Plus, Electric Minds and Trevino's Birdie imprint.Global EP' his 2nd EP for the label see's Endian back in fine form. 'XS-10' is a futuristic, hypnotising burner that in the hands of the right DJ is sure to be a deadly weapon. On the flip title track 'Global' is a warmer, deeper free flowing track with musical flourishes that will keep the party moving.

Frits Wentink's next release on his own Bobby Donny label finds him editing some tracks he has been playing on his radio show for a while. They are originally by Vertiqua, a German lo-fi hip hop producer that remains unknown.
The vinyl only record is limited to 500 copies.
All four of these tracks have been edited to make them more suited to the dance floor. The a side comes as an edit that is all about woozy chords and loose, bumpy drums with a rapped vocal stitched deep into the arrangement. It's warm and intake for cosy dance floors.The B1 has organic boom bap drums and kicks, more tape delayed chords and a nice analogue feel all finished with a wordless but beautifully soul-infused vocal.
Last of all, the louche drums of on B2 are coated in vinyl crackle and laced up with more intoxicating and imperfect chords.
This is a perfectly aged combination of hip hop and house that will get any floor bouncing. Limited 12 Inch hand numbered vinyl.

Pocket Money records return with their 5th release to date, this time collaborating with Soul Habitat an artist firmly rooted in the deeper end of the house pool and this EP is a shining example of his commitment to it. A1 sees us open the EP up with '8th Avenue' a summers day of a track, free , easy and brimming with nostalgic warmth. Dusty organ stabs and skippy 909 hats keep this one bumping till the early morn. On the flip we have 'Back to Basics' slightly more stripped than the A1 but certainly just as groovy. Working the sub and tension of the track a little more than its predecessor this feels slightly more menacing but Soul habitats drum work always makes these tracks dance floor ready B1 opens up with 'This Feeling' a lush wonderful deep house track, melodic and enchanting in equal parts this draws on old school references executing them with a slick modern twist.
Closing out the EP on B2 is Class of 909, with a typical Mr Fingers bass line churning its way through the course of this track it layers with chord progressions and spritely leads to deliver a very authentic sounding take on a class sound.

Bryan Hervieu's D3 Elements makes a welcome return to the music fold after a longish break, and who better to pick up the reins than Trinidadian Deep. Northern Li kicks things off, and from the first note and beat, you just know that Trini has brought the spiritual and percussive deepness that he is known for. This track is 6 minutes of bliss, with swirling pads and beautiful melodies running throughout. Over to the b side and it's thunder claps and the spoken word of Liza Zayas that starts off In The Beginning. Liza's voice sits perfectly alongside the Caribbean textures, and the driving drums that Trinidadian Deep is known for. Bryan's labels have long been a go to for lovers of quality and sophistication and this new one is no different.

InnerCity welcomes the return of an artist who has been there from the very first release and one that fits the InnerCity sound perfectly. Leigh D Oliver, hailing from Yorkshire (UK) has firmly established himself as an artist synonymous with top-notch house music. Leigh's passion for 'proper house' coupled with his raw talent has resulted in him gaining numerous chart positions and releases on prestigious labels such as Large Music, Underground Source and Freche Fruchte.
With its heavy kick, rumbling bass, smooth chords and sweet vocal hooks, '(Sic)' kicks off the release in absolute style, highlighting why Leigh is one of our absolute favourite producers here at InnerCity.
For the second track, Leigh returns, this time combining forces with Lost Records owner Andy Lee. With two producers of this caliber, the results were always going to be excellent. Andy, from the North East (UK) has seen releases and remixes on labels such as Love Not Money, Spinnin' Records, Nervous Records and his DJ career has taken him worldwide, playing gigs in Moscow, Switzerland, Ibiza and beyond. 'Moves Ya' is a first class slab of deep & moody house that does exactly what it says on the tin. A track teaming with deep chord hooks, clever vocal samples and low bass, Moves Ya is perfect for the darker, sweatier clubs.
Next up, InnerCity's very own Roland Nights brings us 'Let It Rain', a dance-floor driven slab of straight-up house with jacking percussion, warm chords and soulful vocal cuts. 'Let It Rain' showcases Roland's passion for classic-sounding house music which has seen previous releases on labels such as Lost My Dog, Large Music and Amenti Music.
Last but by no means least, we head over to the Ukraine, gladly welcoming Mystep who lays down an absolute beast of a house track that is filled with energy, classic sounding chords and rolling bass, guaranteed to work on any floor.

Aroop Roy is a UK artist and producer, whose music blends together the organic elements of jazz, afro, latin and funk with the deeper edge of house and disco. His productions have been supported worldwide by numerous tastemakers and DJs including Gilles Peterson, Atjazz, Karizma, Soul Clap, Jimpster, Dj Spinna, Francois K, Danny Krivit and Detroit Swindle and has released music on a variety of labels including Freestyle, Gamm, Basic Fingers and House of Disco. Deltawerk is the newly Amsterdam based project of Pascal Terstappen aka Applescal and Polynation member Hessel Stuut. Together they are releasing their debut full length LP, entitled 'Passages",
Applescal has to date released on labels including Ghostly International and Traum Schallplatten, while the efforts for his own label Atomnation have seen him welcome music from the likes of Gidge, Weval, David Douglas and Sau Poler, amongst others. Voted at a very respectable #03 for XLR8R's coveted 'Best New Act' in 2015, Hessel Stuut is a member of Polynation and has significant experience not only playing live music, but as a producer, visual artist and designer too. Together, they form Deltawerk, a dynamically electronic duo whom when united create human and lucid music, which feels as much at home in an underground rave as it does in an open-air live performance. While there is a faint echo of artistic collision, the album undoubtedly provides an eerie sense of unity for both Pascal and Hessel's own discography, conserving the warm subculture of
analog and modular instrumentation.

The fifth release on Take Away is like a BBQ sauce, punchy and rich, with a strong balance of acidity to sweetness.

Due to thyphoon Dujuan, Move D and his friends Benoit Bouquin aka Initials B.B. & Marco Wollenberg were trapped in the studio for a few days, when David visited Taipei in 2015 to play Corner Club. All the flights to and from the island were cancelled during the storm, so the three had some extended studio- and red-wine sessions. Looking back from now- these were all worth it and the best thing that could happen- 3 hazy and timeless cuts from the eye of Dujuan. As always it comes with a stunning full-cover artwork from Stefan Marx. Auji Industries represents the most deepness side of the japan scene. In 2011 he droped "Love you more EP" for Pan records, an instant classic for all the real deep followers. Now he joins the Deep Explorer army with this 4 track eo full of frozen emotions and winter sounds. It includes a sick downtempo remix by Man-Drake (the other face of Dubbyman)

Just over a year ago Cassy embarked on her largest and most personal project yet, her debut solo album 'Donna', released on revered imprint AUS Music. Since then, Cassy has put out a string of remixes on Powerplant, Turbo, Echoe and Watergate, plus a track on Muna's latest VA. Throughout this period, Cassy has also been in the studio working on new material, the first of which to be released in September, and is titled 'Cassy 004'.

As the title infers, Cassy is reawakening her self-titled imprint she created in 2006, and has had three previous releases until now. With no plan or set schedule, the remit was simply to release her own records, when the time is right, and the quality is high. The music always reflected the quirkier side to Cassy's club tastes.

And 004 continue in this vein. It perfectly encapsulates the sleek and hypnotic sounds of the harder end of her DJ sets. The tracks are titled 'One' and 'Two', with Cassy giving 'One' a reshape to round off a trio of cuts aimed at the dancefloor.

This is the second release from London duo Dark Circles on their own DC Trax Label. The first release was given play on Radio 1's George Fitzgerald show and supported by the likes of Erol Alkan, Skream, Justin Robertson and Eric Duncan. Dc Trax 2 sees the first release given the remix treatment by an armoury of heavyweight remixers. Phantasy records' Kamera provides a tuff techno work out of Y, Emperor Machine takes inpiration from his old Bizarre Inc guise and making use of his old MPC, takes March back to the 90's raves. The Package is finished off by Lord of the Isles tripping out The Well in 2 strong remixes. This will be a limited vinyl release in February which has already earned a play on 2manydjs' Beats 1 radio show '2x2'.

Tia Maria Produções member DJ Lycox goes solo in a big way with debut album Sonhos & Pesadelos for the resoundingly influential Príncipe Discos label

It is now possible to see a big picture. This means there is a timeline with enough years and developments since this sound generically named Batida emerged on its own. Lycox is of course part of a newer generation that keeps adding to the sum, but he is already inspiring a younger set of producers. "Sonhos & Pesadelos" helps materialize a multiverse of bold, shiny chrome architecture, staying true to the original kuduro backbone while Lycox organizes new forms, song structures and even artificial life. If you can't call it "raw" it's only because this is mental space translated into sound. The physicality of the music is but one element in Lycox's ambitious take on dance music, although we should really say pop music, such is the melodic and harmonic forces at work. "Solteiro" could be just an ambient beauty but the abnormally long 4-minute mark reveals layers of masterful songcrafting well outside what some might still be tempted to classify as "ethnic". Not a classic seaside romance.

D&C (The Cyclist Remix) - Closing track D&C from FaltyDL's last album 'Heaven Is For Quitters' gets the full frontal workout from The Cyclist who turns the ambient album closer into a powerful stomping bass heavy remix. The shuffle reminds of old school FaltyDL productions with added up to date production techniques. Heavy.

Frigid Air (O'Flynn Remix) - O'Flynn lends his gentle touch reminiscent of Floating Points with a bubbly beautiful emotional workout of Frigid Air, Falty's album collaboration with Mike Paradinas.

Neeloon (Palms Trax Remix) - Dekmantel stalwart Palms Trax plays gentle and dance floor friendly with this suburb clean remix of Neeloon, a sci-fi escape soundtrack. Hands in the air, the four four bounce is festival ready.

Drugs feat Rosie Lowe (Kaidi Tatham Remix) - Kaiti Tatham has been a long time influence on FaltyDL. This jazzy fluid musical remix with pin point accurate drums and flowing Rhodes plays against the raspy beautiful vocals from Rosie Lowe. For the come down crew.

Hunee, aka Hun Choi, is a Korean Berliner who has been drawn in music since a very young age. After working in record stores and studying musicology he resided in Amsterdam, where he released his debut album Hunch Music. As a DJ he has always followed 'a hunch', which gave him wings to communicate the music he loves with crowds all over the world. With Hunchin' All Night, Hunee expresses his relationship with the dance floor.

After recently inaugurating the label with Shedbug's well-received Afterglow EP, Flux Records are back with their second release. Following suit, FLUX002 includes three original tracks from burgeoning French talent Laroze, supplied with a sweet remix from Detroit's one and only Andres.With its fair share of dance floor heaters the Loin Des Yeux EP exudes an effortless 90s revival feel to it, drawing upon classic US house and acid as the basis for its form and style. Limited press on 180g, 12 vinyl (no digital), with artwork from Laura Zhang. France's dance scene is currently replete with a plethora of fresh and charismatic artists, labels, and promoters, and has all the signs of a movement that's really beginning to take off. Hailing from Bordeaux, Laroze's making his own mark not just as one of the figures behind the country's authority electronic music publication SeekSickSound, but also as a DJ and producer in his own right.

The second installment of Micronesia is a finely variegated five-tracker to lure the senses. LK delivers his signature deepness embedded in a mesmerizing blend of beats and bass, while Shanahan & Lynch make their debut with Ask, an intricate and downreaching cut to sooth the soul. On the flip side, Duijn & Douglas break the ice with Remarkster, a hypnotic and yet pulsating jam that unsettles head and feet. Next, Omar Santis presents Like buttah on yo breakfast toast, an invigorating tune that builds up to bliss, before VGAV ends the journey with a delicately woven joint to set the mind adrift.

Taking cues from influences ranging from classic jungle to post-dubstep, Farewell 24 offers more evidence as to why so many have tipped the Derry producer for great things.
