REMASTERED BY KERRI CHANDLER

Madhouse Records returns with another retrospective reissue this summer, once again digging back through its impressive back catalogue and shining light on some of the highlights over the past twenty five years in action with some fresh remasters from the head honcho Kerri Chandler himself. Grampa's 'I Loved You' opens with its balearic piano lines, bumpy bass stabs and hooky vocals setting the tone perfectly before Bobcat Trades' 'Summer Rain' edges things over to more organic sounds with snaking natural bass licks, shuffled snares and freeform jazz sax across its five minute duration. Krista FA's 'Why You Wanna' takes things soulful next, with emotive vocal stylings, hooky sub hits and a classic rhythmic swing the label has become known for. Dreamer G's 'I Got That Feeling' still sounds as fresh as ever with an amalgamation of hooky vocal lines, off-kilter drums and smooth string melodies. Jiletta Riley's 'The Way It Was' radiantly displays the dusty and raw production style of its time via raw chord samples, cruncy claps and soaring diva vocals before the package is rounded out with the highly revered label classic Matrix 'Get Out', Deep House in its truest sense with bright stab sequences, piano chords, robust reverberated drums and heady vocal chops. The 'Basement, A Red Light, And A Feelin'' package is out on Madhouse Records July 2017.

The free will of Struments has led them to concentrate in one 12inch the encyclopedic knowledge of Marc Pinol, a duo of kids that present themselves as T.A.L., and the responsible for all that, Spastor, that appears in a remix signed by Florian Kupfer. Lliure Albir sounds as if Pinol was dazzled by the light of a lantern in a chill out while Paranoid London resound in the next room. In his remix, Palms Trax bet on tom toms and certain tribal groove, adding soft eighties keyboards, deep atmosphere, speeches and dub deliriums that perfectly fit in the freak universe of Pinol. Florian Kupfer remix made of Spastor's Death In La Paz: a hit made in the German musician style whose groove is created by a fold in the sound and the apparent imbalance it has with the bass drum. If after this dawn breaks, it will not be small thing. T.A.L. are guided by a retro-spatial pulse to open a fan of sounds that expands and contracts threateningly, and delicately form what looks like an EBM hit stripped of the hammers.

Apron's protégé is back at it with tracks that will fit perfectly with dancefloors and living rooms. You'd better check this one!

Waella's Choice launches with the Bounce EP from Warren Harris aka Hanna, member of Theo Parrish's The Rotating Assembly and Sound Signature regular.
Four deep and moving tracks of soulful house, including a mellow instrumental, two classic Hanna grooves and one trippy, early morning roller. In Warren's own words, this collection "helps us return to an elegant way of life".

Lengthy and Weighty "Hunch Music" remixes by Mick Wills and DJ Fett Burger! After Hunee's celebrated debut album "Hunch Music", it's time for these two weighty remixes here... DJ Fett Burger inserts "Crossroads" into Boss Brian's computer and takes it to an extraordinary new level, Mick Wills transforms "Hiding The Moon" into a lengthy throbbing and grinding floor cracker.. BIG TIP!

Josh Butler debuts the newest and deepest incarnation of his already extensive repertoire with KAHU.
KAHU is the Harrier Eagle of Maori mythology. Josh grew up in the picturesque Bay of Islands, New Zealand, where Maori culture played a big part of his teenage years.
The experiences in New Zealand helped him realize the direction he wanted to take his life and gave him the time and inspiration to focus on music. Musically, KAHU has become a concept that has allowed Josh to explore areas of his taste outside what people may expect. The tracks draw influence from tribal rhythms but are manifested within a hard, yet stripped back, minimal style.
This limited edition vinyl-only project showcases a darker side to the underground House Josh Butler has become synonymous with..

The Mandar Project, produced by Lazare Hoche,Malin Genie & S.A.M. announcing a serie of 12" for this fall/winter. After the powerful 12' Marabouda EP, Oscillat Music is back to provid you a endless deep & wide record: Shrim' EP.

This year we have reached our long term goal as a label which was to expand our releases into the wax department. We feel like we've done a good job bringing upcoming and original local talent to the surface so far and it is only fitting that our first vinyl release is done by the Icelandic duo David & Hjalti. The duo has been busy with the production since their arrival from Manchester and have played a number of great live sets underlining their skills as producers. We feel that this release is the high standard we set ourselves before going vinyl and that this is just a small first step in a fruitful beginning for the producers David & Hjalti.

Vinyl Only.ANo Digital. Debut EP for the french producer Solal Reyes on Mr KS & Friends.

Another top notch Bokhari outing!
Stephen is a Scotsman but sounds like he is from Detroit - he was also on BK013 where he shared an EP with Hiver and provided us with the excellent 'Theme from SAPL'.
This time he's on his own...

Early 90's UK Electronica and of course, the inescapable Detroit blueprint run deep through this one, the unmistakably chewy, tangible heft of analogue sonics married perfectly with emotive melodies.
A welcome whiff of Azymuth era Kenny Larkin clings to the whole EP, while Cologne collective Noorden regular Ikpathua lays out a spacious and deeply atmospheric rendition too...

For the fourth Outplay vinyl release we welcome Laurence Guy to the family and have Brame & Hamo on remix duties.

It's paired with two originals by Outplay's own Junktion and Daniel Leseman.Laurence delivers a wonderful synth driven opener with 'Strings Attached. While Junktion brings his familiar grooves with the jazzy 'Breakfast at Midnight', Brame & Hamo flip it into a dubby stomper to heat up the floors.Daniel Leseman gets to round off the EP with his warm and melodic 'On My Mind'.

RELIGIO is glad to present the first VA series of the label rigorosely on Vinyl only.

A side is from Lillo and Fulvio Ruffert & Gregorio Serasin, both Minimal and deep tunes, Lillo's track is more big deep bass and bouncy instead the creature from Fulvio and his mate is focused on the mesmering soundscapes and deep dub melodies..

B side is from FNR and Kitkalt the FNR tune is very organic and sexy and from his kind of producing very analog stuff taste, Kitkalt delivers a more techy track, dark and shiny at the same time, a tune for smashing the dance floor..

A good VA for RELIGIO a black wax for all kind of situation!

For the second release Piramide landed with a VA mini compilation including the debut of the mysterious Hawaiian Chips. Xinner opens the scene with a mind-blowing synth journey that makes you lose concept of space and time. Autre follows and hooks you up with a hypnotic house beat bringing you in a dance floor dreamy mood. Finally Hawaiian Chips brings you back in the golden age with a proper electro banger made as your favourite 90s idol would have done it. To conclude Xinner does the honour and closes the EP with two must have dance floor filler.

NDATL Muzik continues, this time reaching out to Belgian duo FCL for this catchy tune 'Cherry Pie' first appearing on Defected's In The House series Croatia mixed by label owner Kai Alcé. Featuring vocals from Lady Linn who penned FCL's previous hit "It's You" Now being released on 12" with a previously unreleased instrumental b/w a STOMPING & BLAZING remix by JOVONN!

Forriner is Lee Forster and Oli Worriner.
I made music together with Lee for years (alongside Mick Rolfe) as Last Waltz.
He also worked as Lizards with James Hadfield (James released solo for Me Me Me 02),
Oli Worriner, is a talented young northerner who's already making a great name for his solo output, both under his own name and his Traela Alias, as well his label 'Tunnyl Recordings'
I'm really flattered that they've let me release their first full solo release, and I love how they've brought out each others deeper and more emotive sides in these 2 tracks.
Shit Robot is a hero of mine. I basically wore out the grooves on a bunch of his DFA stuff from just over 10 years ago, and I've avidly bought everything he's released since.
I met him this summer for the first time when we shared the bill at a festival, and was so happy to find that he's also lovely guy in real life.
They say you should never meet your heroes, but I don't subscribe to that as this meeting led to not one, but two fantastic remixes for Me Me Me 08.
The originals are a bright mix of melodically analogue left leaning house, while the remixes zero-in on a punchier dancefloor vibe, with an epic version Goodnight, as well a more heads down Disco Dub.
So yeah, links within links, and keeping it Northeastern again I guess.

High quality reissue of a seminal house tune from 1995. Mastercut at Dubplates & Mastering

NDATL continues with the return of Kayenne who with label boss Kai Alcé have already turned out two #1 Traxsource Hits! Kai and his NDATL all stars DelvynW and Stefan Ringer retouch it as well for two club dubs that BANG ! Hey Young World Listen & Enjoy!

MR.G launches the 51st installment in his Phoenix G series. A 3-track counting excellent 12' that catches several emotions and vibes. Spaced out Mango Boys dub's.

It's time to celebrate the return of Tom Lunn and Finnian Casey to Sneaky Music. Together known as Silk 86, these English gentlemen were in charge of our first ever release back in 2013 with an outstanding EP that sold out in only two weeks, climbing rapidly to Juno's Deep House top ten.

We can only be proud of seeing the growth they have had during this time, releasing on labels like Manucci's Mistress, 1Trax and the recent launch of Emotive, their own imprint.

Now responsible for our lucky #13, Silk 86 deliver a perfect mix between old and new school, showing once again their true love for proper quality House vibes.

Chicagoan artist Vincent Floyd has been releasing music for 27 years now. With stand-out records for the legendary ''Dance Mania'' and some more recent outings through Amsterdam connaisseurs ''Rush Hour Recordings'', Vincent Floyd crafted a 4-track package of original cuts, which will be released as the seventh instalment in the PULP series. The vigorous sounds of Circles (Dub) consist out of loose percussion, piercing synth work and a snappy vocal that cuts through at just the right moments. In the classic style of a sizable amount of dance records throughout the earlier days of dancefloor-music, an instrumental version of Circles is including on the A2 position. ''Skewed Reality'' is an extravert piece of music that revolves around an emotive synth lead and nicely timed drums with a very human feel to them. The soothing pads form the back bone of this journey through exalted melodies. ''Morning Storm'' serves as the PULP07 grand finale. In this cut Vincent again showcases his ability to mould many melodic elements into a cohesive sounding piece of music. Morning Storm is a bright piece of work with delicate melodies and beautiful playful drum patterns.

Releasing on Crosstown Rebels Denney and D.Ramirez, invite the listener into an electronic dream. Aptly titled 'Stranger Things', the old friends deliver two original tracks with dubspeeka supplying the remix. Debuted by label founder Damian Lazarus at Day Zero, immerse yourself in an otherworldly fantasy.
Stranger Things opens the EP, immediately setting the scene for what is to come. The duo has created an enticing world, thrusting them into the forefront of electronic music. Heavy in synths and cosmic sounds, Bristol based producer, dubspeeka demonstrates complete understanding of the original, whilst catapulting the track into a different sphere. The ethereal female vocal takes centre stage in Afraid, concluding the EP and marking the end of a captivating journey.
Hailing from the North of England, Denney kickstarted his career with a residency at the historic Back to Basics night. Now a global figure in the dance scene, he regularly plays at the biggest venues, with releases on Jackathon Jams, 2020 Vision, VIVa, Hot Creations among others. With a career spanning over twenty years, D.Ramirez is a the top of his game. The Northern DJ and producer has been nominated for an Ivor Novello, played in every continent, and five of his releases making the Top 20.

Planet Mu are releasing two special limited edition cassette tapes for Christmas 2017, one by Claude Speeed and this one by Ekoplekz. As the title suggests, Cassettera assembles a further 10 tracks from the same sessions as Ekoplekz's recent Bioprodukt album, to be released as a cassette & also digitally. The beats are still to the fore, even incorporating elements of techno and house, but the mood is darker, with a heavier emphasis on noise and drone textures resulting in a more uneasy listen. This greyscale outlook is reflected in the monochrome variation on Bioprodukt's sleeve art. 'Bass 2 Dank' and 'Jacktrak' apply solid kicks and grooves for moody dancefloors, whilst 'Formative' and 'The Imperitive' combine convoluted percussion and cloying sub-bass with eerie atmospherics. 'Tactile' and 'Nitrate Abuse' offer minimal user-unfriendly experimental textures and the set ends with the extended grinding dread of 'The Outlook Is Bleak'.

vinyl only, handstamped !

LOFILE Records release number three represents the first solo 12' of MARBOD, co-founder of LOFILE. TURDUS MERULA is a true declaration of love to the deep and warm sound of Housemusic. The four Detroit sound inspired tracks, including a remix of Thomas Stieler, come up with minimalist, romantic and impulsive grooves and combine rawness and beauty. This EP is an awesome deep dance floor bomb. Enjoy.

Move D (David Moufang) and Jordan GCZ (Jordan Czamanski) are back again on wax after a hiatus since their 2015 live in Seattle album, on Further Records. Here they team up again for 2 ice hot and slow burning studio jams - recorded this year in Amsterdam ... immerse yourself..TIP!

Those familiar with the world of dub disco and modern Balearica should know all about Layne Fox, a San Francisco-based producer who has released some killer records over the last decade as part of noted collective 40 Thieves.

The Bay Area ensemble has been responsible for some killer records, including gems on Rong Music and Leng, who released their expansive debut album The Sky Is Yours back in 2014.

Now, Fox has decided to go it alone for an outing on Magic Feet that marks his first solo outing since 2005's Move Me under the Tuffy alias. It's something of a gem, too, effortlessly combining many of his familiar influences with nods towards druggy Italo-disco and horizontal pop.

Fox delivers two contrasting versions of No Runnin' Away. There's a Vocal Mix, where Sunny's icy, atmospheric voice drifts over a chugging mid-tempo groove built around a Moroder-style bassline, swirling electronics, dreamy chords and metronomic beats. Typically, Fox also provides a tasty Dub, where select vocal snippets drift in an out of a delay and reverb heavy mix that also gives increased prominence to his stretched-out synths and late night electronics.

Magic Feet boss Craig Bratley handles remix duties himself, offering a complimentary but notably different interpretation. His version subtly emphasizes the track's downbeat pop credentials, pushing the vocal to the fore above a sparse electro groove, dreamy pads and flashes of acid-inspired electronics. Think Cold Wave vibes but with actual production values, not pretend 'mastered on cassette'. It's the perfect accompaniment to Fox's hypnotic, head-in-the-clouds original.

RAWAX proudly welcomes Theodor Roberts to the Family!

Masterworks Music certainly know how to make an entrance, kicking off this new series, 'Bag Of Tricks', with a star-studded cast. Picking the best high-end sizzlers from a who's who of the nu-disco scene. We're happy to welcome back the artist behind MH001, Cloudface, with an EP called Super You. Emotional yet bracing, wide nights and blinking towers. Please remember to keep your eye to the sky and your ears.

Next stop for Echovolt's regular catalog is two post-summer tear-jerker workouts by this great Polish duo!
.
Earth Trax & Newborn Jr. started their collaboration in 2016 with a release on Rhythm Section from Peckham, London. Their new offering follows the same principles - ecstatic and slightly nostalgic. A side ('Bailando') utilizes famous solid/lately bass sound with a modern twist and features additional work by Annjet who layered lush pads on top of it. B side ('Aquamarine') is a hypnotic uptempo workout with sparkling keys, sizzling hihats and a powerful bass line.
