Blurred is the days and the days is blurred. Plastic friend run. Liquid tape. Sound and no sound and none of both. No nothing. Colour the sun and lock it on a four track. Praise the gravy. That's the joint jam. Where's it all locked up Hello everybody. Tape set check. Record. Stop. Here we are: in a century of numbers. Play it again. Laughing. Stoned from the saya. Clouds come upside down the hills. I am willing to proof. Here's where it all began, in states of rigid blues. Passing by the night. Walking out the window. Good night my friends, good night.

Danish born/Stockholm based house producer, Anders and serves up his debut release - Love on 12 vinyl. This marks the first physical output for Brown Fat, a fresh new label out of Stockholm. A rich patchwork of influences have made up his exotic sound, along with the artists' experience in living and studying in London for 7 years, where he developed a raw style that fuses complex jazz, African drumming and blissed out ambient grooves together into something refreshingly original - it's no wonder why he is considered to be one to watch in 2017. The Love mini album takes you on a journey through a range of musical timbres, meticulously arranged acoustic samples into complex blends of sound, with surgical precision yet raw and rough production methods. The artist has re-contextualised lost snippets of gospel and soul within this record, with a keen interest in expression through rhythm and organic percussion - giving it the perfect vibe for a sultry summer's evening. The album has been influenced by everything from primal ethnic music, jazz and soul, through house and techno, all the way to textural ambient. In this album, Anders and displays his skills of dissonance and tension as a way to bring more energy and emotion to music - resulting in an uplifting, warm and grandiose expression of love through his sound. Vital Sales Points: - Already played by Mall Grab, Will Lister, Bradley Zero, Axel Boman - Radio appearances on: Radar radio, Balamii radio, RTR FM - Stockholm and London shows with support from Will Lister, Alexander Nut & Judah

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: WHILE PATROLING THE FORBID-DEN FOREST LATE LAST NIGHT, WE CAPTURED A HUMAN-LIKE LIFEFORM THAT WE BELIEVE MAY BE EXTRA-TERRESTRIIAL IN ORIGIN. THE CREATURE, WHO WAS ABLE TO CONVERSE IN BOTH DUTCH AND ENGLISH, TOLD US HIS NAME WAS DARLING'. WHEN WE DISCOVERED HIM, HE WAS CLEARLY DISORIENTED AND CHANTING THE LETTERS J', P' AND S'.
IN HIS POSSESSIONS WE DISCOVERED A PLASTIC BOX IN-SCRIBED WITH THE ABOVE INITIALS AND A FLAT BLACK DISC STAMPED WITH THE CODE ST005. UNDER INTERROGATION, THE SUBJECT TOLD US THAT THE BOX WAS A DRUM MACHINE'. IT HAD BEEN GIFTED TO HIM BY HIS GRANDFATHER, WHO WENT BY THE NAME JOOP'. HE ADDED THAT MUSIC CREATED USING THIS DEVICE HAD BEEN ETCHED INTO THE SURFACE OF THE BLACK DISC.
HAVING FOUND A SUITABLE MACHINE TO EXTRACT THE MUSIC FROM WITHIN THE GROOVES, WE WERE ASTONISHED BY WHAT WE HEARD. THERE WERE SIX COMPOSITIONS ON WHICH THE SUBJECT'S FAMILY DRUM MACHINE' WAS PROMINENTLY FEATURED, REPLICATING PROGRAMMED ELECTRONIC RHYTHMS THAT SOUNDED ALIEN IN ORIGIN.
THE WARM AND LOOSE FEEL OF THESE PERCUSSIVE ELEMENTS WAS FURTHER ENHANCED BY THE SUBJECT'S CHOICE OF ACCOMPANYING ELECTRONIC MUSICAL FEATURES. THESE FRE-QUENTLY CAUGHT OUR EAR AND ENHANCED OUR COLLECTIVE MOOD. THESE VARIOUSLY SOUNDED INTERGALACTIC, LOVED-UP, DREAMY, OTHERWORLDLY AND SOOTHING. ONE OF OUR COLLEAGUES, WITHIN EARSHOT, SPONTANEOUSLY STARTED DANCING.
WE HAVE KEPT THE SUBJECT UNDER OBSERVATION AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO UNLESS WE RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CONTRARY. IT IS OUR BELIEF THAT THE MUSIC SHOULD BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC.

The warm dim light of the bedside lamp conjures up a kind of shadow theatre, sends the little stars on the ceiling into a spin, and fills the bedroom with a sense of profound peace. A small music box rounds out the evening atmosphere with soft little melodies. Perched at the side of his daughter's little bed, he watches over his little beat princess' slumber and her dreams, all while enjoying with satisfaction the unencumbered lightness of being at night...
The EP Hannah by the Leipzig-based beatmaker Duktus is a musical tribute to his three-year-old daughter and a personal instrumentalization of fatherhood.
A story told from Duktus' point of view in six different pieces, we can become part of little Hannah's world, as she plays in her room and runs around the playground, goes on adventures during the day and dreams at night.
In EP Hannah, Duktus casts his musical gaze backward in two different ways - both in terms of the experience of being a father and the moments, great and small, that this involves, as well as in terms of his musical influences over the past three years. This produces an atmosphere which, however, does not waver from Duktus' musical direction between uptempo broken beats and downbeat house grooves.
The EP Hannah cover was painted by Hannah herself at the age of two. And it is being produced in a complicated silk-screen process, printed in purple - Lila's favorite color! - on uncoated paper, making for a tactile homage to the little beat princess.
It is only a matter of time before Hannah discovers the record for herself as well. She already got her own record player as a present - from her dad, of course - and is a big fan of old fairy tale records. In the eyes and ears of a DJ and beatmaker, this is all a matter of early musical education.
- I dedicate this record to my daughter Hannah'
- Duktus -

"This is the sophomore release from label boss Goshawk on PFT ,following on from 'The Hunt EP' which was released to critical acclaim in 2015. Kicking off the EP we have 'Down in Brooklyn' complete with syncopated electronic chords, a call and response vocal and rhodes keys in the breaks.
Next up is 'Both Sides Buttered' which offers up highly swung drums, wonky chords and quirky vocal in a stripped back vibe. Less is more. As featured by Red Rack'em on his Rinse FM show
The B side kicks off with '88 Keys', a soulful/sampled vocal party monster with live rhodes keys and chunky beats. Should appeal to fans of the Kolour LTD sound
Finally, the EP finishes with the deeper, darker vocal joint 'I live for the love you give' - a bassline led track with backwards piano samples and haunting male vocal. Like going to church on medication."

Jad & The sends off the Ladyboy (fka Jad & The Ladyboy) and has a Going Away Party to celebrate. The party starts off with some Sad Cries (it's always sad saying goodbye), then the Yeah Band starts playing to take peoples' minds off their sadness, after their afrocentric set the guy who always has the discogs window open and 7 inch adapters in his pockets jumps up and plays a Disco Dancefloor Tool designed to tease but please. Now that everyone's warmed up and ready for it, the next DJ drops some Underground Real Shit which even gets a nod from the high brow DJ squad in the corner. The twelve people there lose their shit. Great night had by all.

Since summer 2016, 'Keep On' has been doing the rounds in the house music community, with support from some of the biggest names on the circuit playing the track on a week-by-week basis. Initially made off the cuff as a tribute to Chicago's ghetto house sound and inspired by the DC10 terrace, the track went onto become something of a monster that the young Scottish producer never anticipated. After 6 months after constant requests the track will finally be publicly available. Upfront high and energy drums combine with brash vocal samples to make the track a dance floor weapon for a peak time dancefloor. On the flip 'Antonio's Keys' takes things deeper, the track works percussion into more thumping 4x4 kick drums whilst the hypnotic lead line pushes the track forward into the early hours of the morning. Limited to 300 hand stamped copies.

Last year Rebirth Records celebrated 10 years with the release of the acclaimed compilation selected and mixed by Larry Heard.
We are now happy to present 'Rebirth 10 Remixed': a special collection that will be available on 3rd April on a limited 2x12" vinyl edition including brand new versions of some of the classics of the label in the first ten years.
The package features remixes from some of our favourite artists. The Don of Chicago deep house Ron Trent gives his timeless classic touch
to 'Without Me' by Tevo Howard Feat. Tracey Thorn.
Hot Tel Aviv duo Red Axes bring their trademark new wave sound to a tropical dimension remixing Robytek's 'Luna Africana' combining unusual melodies of bells, chimes and perc drums. Borrowed Identity drops an uplifting, dynamic and solid club mix of 'Conscious Of My Conscience', the classic by Womack & Womack revisited by Freaks.
Fouk rework 'Slow Emotion' by Chromatic Filters with their beautiful jazzy arrangement, swirling synths and driving organic grooves.
Berlin-based producer Palms Trax picks one of our favourites 'The Infamous' by Butch & C.Vogt cooking up a very cool version, combining the subtle atmospheric deep vibe and hazy synths with a swinging bass-heavy and a pinch of Acid.
Chicago House Music legend Roy Davis Jr. delivers a powerful interpretation of 'Below My Hands' from Bocca Grande mixing the soulful Chicago-style house with r&b influences.
Ewan Jansen, true unsung underground hero of the Australian electronic scene,
adds his unique melodic take on Taras Van De Voorde's '1998'.
The Keinemusik boss Rampa closes the package with a killer remix of 'Deep Musique' by Pasta Boys Feat. Osunlade, definitely another dancefloor peak time cut on Rebirth !
The cover sleeve is a work by Emil Schult, who has created a painting
especially for the Rebirth's Anniversary.
Emil is known for his work with electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk. Schult's collaboration with founders Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider saw him actively involved in writing lyrics as well as generating the design for some of the band's most famous covers including 'Ralf & Florian', 'Autobahn', 'Radioactivity', 'Trans Europe Express' and 'Computer World'.

Andras establishes a new home for his out-house productions with Punp Records. While House of Dad laboured in detail, 'Sanity' targets club play - speeding tempos laced with the larrikinism of Boiler Room, Australian reality TV and shark siren cut ups. 'Vinyl Only' takes a swipe at the 100% mentality with a stereo bassline threatening to derail the stylus, further sidetracked by being digitally available a week before the 12'. On the P-side, '40k' pulls swimmers from the Bondi rip while 'Sanitiser's simplicity cleanses the grease from Andras' former plumbing exploits.
Words by Michael Kucyk (Noise in My Head)
Kidnap Kid's Birds That Fly label got off to a flying start with his own release,' Moments' feat Leo Stannard picking up over two million plays and shaking up the spotify / hype machine charts. Next up on the imprint is rising UK star Applebottom with 'The Ride' EP, an artist that draws many parallels to Kidnap Kid's own early career as he barely has made his way out of his teens but already caught the ear of some of the most sought-after labels and radio establishment.
Annie Mac can't get enough of him and his releases on Kerri Chandler's MadTech, Zed Bias' Biasonic and UK powerhouse Black Butter Records have coined him one of the future figureheads of dance music. Applebottom has come to be considered a beatmaker able to transverse genres with that rarest of production talents: the consistent ability to make a straight-up club banger, which makes him the perfect follow up for Birds That Fly.
''TheRide' was quite a different piece of music for me, 'he explained of the track, 'I had been thinking about where I'd want to release it and I was pretty stuck. But shortly after I'd finished it Kidnap Kid's first EP on Birds That Fly came out, and straight away I felt a connection with the sound and a lot of the music I've been making recently. It already feels like it has a clear and distinctive sound forming and I can't wait for my music to be part of that.'
Applebottom hails from the musical mecca of Bristol but shares a pioneering view of its style and output. 'I think a lot of people have just gotten too comfortable making the same sounding dance music - and for me that kind of defeats the point, there's so much variety in it. I feel that particularly for my generation anyway, we're a lot younger as producers and it's kind of our job to be that next generation that produces that next sound. We should be striving to make something new and different and build our own vision of what it should be.'

The next release on Man Power's Me Me Me features two emotive leftfield house cuts from DSC, the newly minted production alias of Desert Sound Colony, aka Liam Wachs, the man behind the newly launched Holding Hands record Label.
Wake up, is a sweetly melodic track of pulsing house, with Coming Round providing a pumping and muscular leftfield techno counterpoint.
On remix duties Man Power invites north east upstart Elliot Adamson to remix Wake Up, before his full length EP coming up next on the label. Hotly tipped by everyone from Jackmaster to Jamie Jones, Elliot is a superstar in the making, and relishes the opportunity to flex his more esoteric muscles with a slice of deconstructed electro that hints at the startling musical breadth, which the young producer is only beginning to reveal.
Coming Round is remixed by none other the legendary Rex The Dog, who is not only an artist who Man Power has huge admiration for, but also someone he is pleased to call a good friend. The trust between the two artists shines through, as 'Rex' provides possibly one of the most unfettered dancefloor tracks of his career.

Quality house label FINA Records are back with their next carefully curated EP of 2016. This one comes from the choice house duo of Rob Glassett and Sam Fussell aka Homepark, who serve up four more of their finely crafted cuts.
Over the last six years, Homepark have slowly but surely built up a classy discography that takes in smooth and seductive deep house that has real drive. It has come on labels like Ornate Music and Chez Damier's Courtesy Of Balance Recordings, and always marries a classic sense of house history with fresh new perspectives for both head and heel.
This latest EP kicks off with 'RFMS,' an immediately atmospheric track with shakers, rubbery drums and smeared synths all making for a fulsome groove. Some choice vocals help elevate things to a higher level and the whole thing exudes real warmth as it effortlessly glides along. If that was a more peak time offering, 'Lost In Days' is much less direct and hurried: it encourages you to wallow in the encircling and spiritual synths that spread out all around you as whispered female sounds add real soul.
The widescreen, dubby house vibes continue on '16 Sessions' with its firefly-like synths squiggling about above a gurgling FM bassline and crisp claps. Again with an exquisite sense of electronic soul, the whole EP gets rounded out with the rueful and far-gazing 'Endings.' Globular synths step up and down the scale, thin pads add a glow of white light and fresh drum programming and fingers clicks really help get you on your toes and swinging those hips. All in all, this is a timeless house EP that reaches heartwarming depths whilst also keeping one foot well and truly on the 'floor.

It's always an event when Jacob Korn fires up his custom-made studio set up to create another exciting House record. In fact, EP3 is a tasteful four-tracker that more than lives up on its two predecessors. "The Happening" builds on funky drum patterns before rising into a break that feels like taking a bucket full of water to the chest. Another burning dance floor affair is "Holiday" with its percussion-driven beats and heavy staccato style synths, in all its Caribbean glory. "Goodbye" is driven by an irresistible sample and string combination while "Thru The Eyes" is riding on a cheerful drum foundation and killer sample. Dancefloor heaven. As she did for EP1 and EP2 the new record is again illustrated by Anna Jaszpataki from Dresden.

This is a tech-blues odyysesy, an introvert's primal scream, where complex emotions and urges are vented and perfectly complemented by Rathsman's explorations into the dark corners of electronic music. Enjoy the journey. With the release only in the hands of a select few tastemaker DJs, 'Complex' has been making waves at the recent Miami Winter Music Conference, 'receiving hands in the air welcomes and even a sit down ovation' according to label boss Damian Lazarus. 'Complex' is set to be the first underground anthem of 2016.
The release comes with two carefully chosen remixes. First up is Swiss techno stalwart Deetron, who steers the song into percussive acid oblivion while Serge Devant offers up his deep house expertise for a dramatic and driving offbeat cut. Original and remixes receiving current support from Jamie Jones, Skream, Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, Joseph Capriati, Pig & Dan, Jon Digweed, Gorgon City, Âme, Laurent Garnier, Nicole Moudaber, Agoria, Carl Craig, Tensnake, Claude Von Stroke and Macro Carola.

When words fail, music has the ability to depict the deepest of human emotions and once again Kidnap Kid uses his signature emotive and sophisticated production to do just that. He returns to Birds That Fly, the label he founded less than a year ago with ' Brokenhearted' an EP containing two original tracks.
'Brokenhearted is a reaction to the immense sadness in the world. My way of processing endless tragedy and distant despair. Mist, on the other hand, is a more hopeful response; a faraway light at the end of the tunnel' -
Kidnap Kid.
Musicians have been making music about love and heartbreak for hundreds of years and Kidnap Kid's statement on the eternally relevant topic starts with' BrokenHearted',a track that taps into the memory vaults. Next up is 'Mist' whose simple melody is layered over intricate sounds to create an immensely absorbing track.
The start of 2016 saw Kidnap Kid launch his Birds That Fly imprint as a platform for his own music as well as a means to support like minded producers, such as Applebottom and Amtrac, both releasing on the label with great success. The label's debut release was from Kidnap Kid himself and ' Moments' was met with such high acclaim it collectively reached 10 million streams, 1.3 million of those coming from Spotify and subsequently made the Spotify chart in over 10 countries. It was championed by several Radio 1 DJs and was the closing record for many, including Maceo Plex who closed his set at CRSSD festival with the track.

Mint Condition - A brand new record label focussed on excavating the outer fringes of classic House and Techno. Unreleased mixes, classics and overlooked gems mined from the last 20+ of contemporary dance music are the order of the day. From Chicago, Detroit and New York to London and beyond, Mint Condition have got their expert digging hats on to bring you exclusive heat and those rarer than rare jams that have been on your wants list for years! Dig in....
Originally released in 1997 on the Global Communications sub-label Heard, 'The voyage' has long been a record steeped in cult mystery. One of those slabs of wax that almost define category - is it Techno Is it deep house Does it matter When music is this engrossing, emotive and majestic categorisation seems almost futile. Rolling, trance inducing, jacking in all the right places, 'The voyage' and it's b-side companion ('Subsonic interference') still sound incredibly fresh today. Timeless productions that still manage to take us somewhere else when they pour out of the speaker. Paul Hester's music has always had that ultra-deep edge to it, and this particular EP explores it in spades. Hands down, this record is a must for all lovers of the subterranean soundscapes that occupy the numerous late nights and early mornings, the 'still going' dance-floors and that feeling of totally losing yourself in the music (for real).
A very rare 12" indeed, 'The voyage' has always been a highly sought after thing of beauty for a long time and now it's here again, legitimately re-released with the full involvement of Paul Hester / Heard Records for 2017 and remastered from the original sources specially for Mint Condition by Optimum Mastering. 100% legit, licensed and released. Dug, remastered, repackaged and brought to you by the caring folks at your new favourite reissue label - Mint Condition!

Hot Creations gear up to drop the eagerly anticipated House & Pressure from hot property Route 94. Echoing the excitement that surrounded his No.1 hit My Love, which shot him to stardom, the record has been in serious demand for months. Now finally ready for release he showcases his versatile skills as a producer over three heavy-weight tracks.
Rowan Jones aka Route 94 explains how he wanted to 'put out three tracks that were diverse yet definitive.' Title track House & Pressure packs a real punch and contains the vocals from Joey Negro's classic Ride the Storm featuring Linda Clifford. The dominant female vocal on 'House & Pressure' combined with the force of the drum machines is a traditional element that people connect to the Route 94 productions. With 'Crazy Bitch' it's a more of a big room sound, incorporating ghetto elements. 'Dark Keyless' is the complete opposite, creating a groove that aims to grab the crowd and let them loose.
This year has seen a succession of big releases and remixes from Route 94 that cement his place amongst the dance music elite including the recent hit Mind, Body & Soul on Crosstown Rebels. The talented producer first saw fame reaching No.1 in the UK charts with My Love featuring Jess Glynne. Keen to remain on the underground scene, he followed with releases and remixes on Leftroom, Defected and Hot Creations. Overwhelming success followed as he performed at the likes of fabric, Sub Club, Space, Ushuaia, DC10 and many more. With a wealth of new material still on the way and a hectic touring schedule in place, it's clear this is only the start for the young artist.

Red Axes's massive 'Waiting For a Surprise' gets new remixes from heavy hitters Audion, Moscoman, Manfredas and Multi Culti label-man Thomas Von Party.
The jewel in the crown of Israel's underground music scene, Red Axes have produced a steady stream of hits on labels like Permanent Vacation, I'm A Cliché, Crosstown Rebels, and the freaky all-inclusive Multi Culti where they dropped what became, somewhat surprisingly, their biggest hit to date with Waiting For a Surprise. The dark, stripped down disco bomb had one of the most memorable hooks of the year in singer Abrao's staccato chorus, a late night voodoo incantation that was always begging to be remixed. The globally-minded, non-tempo-specific label ventures further into big-room techno territory than ever before, calling on resurrected techno god Audion, hot off the release of his incredible album Alpha. He delivers a jumbo, driving, rancey-dance bomb onto techno turf and raises the hands higher in the air than previously thought possible.
Next up, fellow Tel Avivian Moscoman directs his hot hands to his guitar, mellowing things slightly, stretching out the hooks and adding layers of ambulant percussion to his signature middle eastern flair. The man you love to hate to love breaks his bread
and shares it with us all.Lithuanian bandit and current Multi Culti tour poster boy Manfredas (who delayed the package by 3 months + some) weighs in with an incredibly dope,
hook-filled revision. Worth the wait for his weight in cult gold.
Finally, label chef Thomas Von Party joins forces with the Axes on a hybrid electro-psych-surf adventure you can get lost in. The freaky force is felt in this chuggy bro-down with the trans-continental high-five resonating across the sunset.
