London duo Jynx provide the next chapter to Kidnap Kid's 'Birds That Fy'; an imprint quickly building a slim but effective catalogue.
This two tracker is a true fusion of sound, entangling vibrant UKG percussion, emotive vocals and charmingly quirky production.
Altogether it creates something beautiful and unique, echoing the individuality of the label itself.

Kalabrese is back with another blues. "Rock Your Duby" - the dub-house track is about missing the lady on the dancefloor. One
day she will return; that's the Swiss producer's hope.

London's Alex Warren, AKA Kiwi presents "ThrowDown", a cover version of Carmen's cult and in demand 1986 Electro Funk hit. It comes in two versions, a 4/4 club mix and at the suggestion of JD Twitch, an updated take on a Latin Freestyle mix. Both versions feature full vocals from Ciara Haidar and have "summer hit" written all over them.

The second part of Twig 3 comes on a 10" record, straight from the other half of the Offenback imprint "Pager", MARKUS SOMMER

After a few years spent in quiet reflection during his introduction to the wonders of fatherhood, In Relationen emerges as both a refined and mature comeback, as well as a distinct new beginning for the long-time Berlin producer.
The pensive character, delicate emotional undertones, and careful lines drawn with precise tension across restrained arrangements may sound familiar to fans of his earlier work, but there is now a greater sense of calm, an openness that rewards listeners both on and off the dance-floor.As contemplative as it may be, In Relationen still rocks, particularly on the title track, where a frontal psychedelic guitar line gently weeps across a haunting, hypnotic field of rhythm. The krautrock influence runs deep, not in a superficial way but in the depths of the music: atop the rolling, pastoral grooves, the vibe of a bright German mind reorganizing itself to a new framework, re-aligning to a fresh phase of life, finding deeper communion with the world through the discovered balance of inner peace.

Giving us a preview of his forthcoming album MAKTUB, Satori is next to release on Crosstown Rebels with Umama. The single features alongside remixes from three of the most prominent artists from today's house scene.
Demonstrating his incredible ability to incorporate world sounds into his music, Satori mesmerises with Umama. Amidst a soiree of African percussion is a soothing hypnotic chant, all encased in alluring synths. Italian legend Riva Starr's jazzy take on the original, integrates the chanting vocal as a futuristic anthem. Louie Vega maintains an ethnic feel. His remix, alongside an instrumental, encompasses futuristic synths with a sturdy kick throughout.
Comprised almost entirely of live instruments, Satori explained how his love for Malian desert blues inspired Umama. 'I was fascinated by the rhythms, the scales, the harmony and the way they use their voice. I studied it and translated it into electronic music.' The song features on his debut album MAKTUB that will be released on Crosstown Rebels on 20th October 2017.
In anticipation of his album release, Satori aside from performing his renowned live show, keeps himself busy coaching aspiring writers. Following the recent launch of imprint Brock Wild, Starr continues to cement his position as one of the industry's most acclaimed artists. In Early 2017 one half of Masters At Work Louie Vega received a Grammy Nomination for Louie Vega Starring...XXVIII in the Best Dance Album category. Joeski has been hard at work in the studio, working solo on 'Lessons in Dub' for Poker Flat and the 14th installment of his Maya Sessions podcast.

Already one of the secret weapons in the bags of djs like Solomun, Dixon, Derrick May, Josh Wink and Osunlade, 'Pentimento' by Yotam Avni gets an official release on Rebirth this summer.One of the most prominent and exciting figures to emerge from Israel in recent years, Yotam is an accomplished producer, in-demand remixer and versatile DJ.His music career began early on, by 19 years old he compiled and produced expermential music for Modern Ballet, while working as a Music Journalist and holding a DJ Residency at Tel-Aviv's leading club nights. He's back catalogue releases nowdays offers a wide musical range from Abstract Electronica to Soulful House all the way to Detroit Techno, releasing on labels like Ovum, Stroboscopic Artefacts and Be As One !'Pentimento' is a strong tribal track, with a bassline and a synth lead that sounds huge everytime we play it. The track gets a brand new reinterpretation from one of our heroes, Joaquin Joe Claussell, who adds some cosmic and ethereal sounds to the african atmosphere of the original, turning out another epic journey! 10 Inch Blue Vinyl with handstamp.

Late last year Music For Dreams released the digital album "Debut" by Bongo Entp. This passion project from veteran studio session player Jacob Andersen brought us an unexpectedly fresh take on South American music traditions. 
On this new vinyl release, the project is both revisited and expanded upon. Cherry picking some of the grooviest cuts from the album for this EP, we also get remix treatments from well sourced collaborators Selvagem & Carrot Green. Both hailing from Brazil, these producers certainly know how to work Latin percussion on a dancefloor.
Taking on the dreamy cover version of Henri Mancini's classic "Lujón" (original included too), Carrot Green ups the tempo and wrangles the elements of the original into something completely different. Adding a house kick and dark acid undertones, he takes you on a wet trip with lots of twists and turns. 
The production duo of Selvagem manage something similar with one of the looser Bongo Entp. jams. The original "Foto Feita Do Aviaõ  is a jazzy scat sinaalong tune. In Selvagem's hands, it turns  into an epic cosmic disco groover, locked into place by a muscular baseline. The vocal chants of the original are here, but used in a lower key and more sparingly to punctuate the bounce of the rhythm. 
The vinyl includes two other album highlights - the Cafe del Mar classic "El Rey De Pollo" , a Santana-style chill-out affair featuring Mikkel Nordsø of Bombay Hotel fame and finally the moody "Spanish Winter" with its robotic reggae-like groove and syrup-thick synthesizers bubbling in a bittersweet fashion. A superb package.

- With the next and twelfth instalment of Tiefenrausch the dub techno label sets foot on the new continent again. The deep sea journey is joined by San Fransisco based artist Federsen and Bran- don Moeller aka Echologist or Beat Pharmacy - who contributed a remix to the three track EP.
'The Myth EP' represents Federsen raw and analogue signature sound. Warm and distorted machine noises create the pad for minimal drum patterns, bass grooves and accentuated chord echoes. On the A-Side Federsen shows us his unique style with 'Contrasts'. Brandon Moeller on the other hand contributes his own sound and rounds up the EP with dubbed intrepretation of Federsens 'Murmer'. The EP ends with the original version of that track.The release is designed by Alex Ketzer who joins in for a collaboration with the illustrators Mag- dalena Paz and Florian Gassmann for the next ve releases of the Tiefenrausch label. The audio is mastered by SALZ music and the EP comes on 180g vinyl and shrink wrapped.'

Fernando Pulichino is no stranger to Leng Records. The bass guitar-wielding Argentine made his first appearance on the label five years ago via the cosmic disco/psychedelic rock fusion of Blue Impala, returning two years later with the similarly inclined brilliance of Giant Desert. Pulichino then resurfaced on Leng late last year with a superb, digital-only three-tracker called Natural 77.

Now he's back on wax, buoyed by the success of the acclaimed Shining EP on Is It Balearic
Recordings. This time round he's in Search of Indigo, shaping hazy, sun-baked soundscapes around his distinctive basslines, echo-laden synthesizers, meandering Fender Rhodes solos,
gentle dub vibrations and glistening, early morning jazz guitars. This is music for the heads, hips and feet, soaked in Fernet and left in the afternoon sun to slowly ripen.

Arguably the most arresting of the four cuts is the title track, a head-in-the-clouds vocal number rich in bubbly electronic riffs, laidback electro beats, ricocheting percussion hits, swirling wind
effects and rubbery funk-rock bass.

Pulichino's penchant for intergalactic disco shufflers once again comes to the fore on killer Sundown Visions', a saucer-eyed chugger that simultaneously throbs, pulses and sparkles
thanks to sparring synthesizer motifs and eyes-closed space rock guitars. We suspect Daniele Baldelli and Andrew Weatherall would approve.

Elsewhere, Pulichino indulges his passion for sofa-surfing jazz-funk on solo-laden EP closer Frontera', a relaxed and undulating jam rich in cascading electric guitars, fluid electric piano, delay-laden flourishes and deep space synthesizers. You won't know whether to lie down, dance enthusiastically or wearily shuffle, either way, play at sunrise or sundown for maximum
enjoyment.

The EP also boasts a first vinyl outing for the title track of last year's digital-only EP, Natural '77'. Seemingly partly inspired by legendary West Coast funkateers Steely Dan, it's a lazy, low-
slung affair full of languid guitar solos, freestyle vocal improvisations, bongo-laden drums and one of his most inspired and elastic basslines to date.

Lake People, the man with a knack for aural subtleties, is spot-on with his first EP for Uncanny Valley. Over the course of four tracks he showcases a quiet different approach compared to the sophisticated House music the Leipzig based artist released on labels like Permanent Vacation or Connaisseur Recordings. On "Break the Pattern" he relies heavily on the good old Boom Tschak-paradigm of Electro, without completely giving up his trademark sound. "Level Msk" combines staccato-type chords with a stuttering beat that stick in your mind. The acidic "September Futuristic" with its stoic drumming has almost a Krautrock feel to it. On the flipside, the playful "Chords In Chorus" feels like an early contender for this year's summer anthem with chords and acid lines from heaven. The EP closes with "Pull Off", a perfect example for Lake People's ability to compose tracks with an emotional depth.

Llewellyn is the new alias of Lake People. With this first full EP on KANN under his newly found identity he releases himself in a refreshing disorderly manner and moves on to pastures new in house fields. Check out these three fine late summer cuts from the labels internal professor of frequencies himself.

The good ship Ransom Note sails on!

Continuing our commitment to releasing the finest dance music from planet Earth, our latest missive comes from fresh-faced Belgian kit freak Placid One. Squeezing out analogue techno from a studio full of synths that burble and shimmer and croak, Placid's lead track 'C Balloon' is a drum-less masterpiece, an arpeggiating ascent into a chrome-plated future. The track belongs in the lineage of the emotional best of Detroit, as mysterious as it is melancholic, it's a vision of computer blues for the 21st century.

It's followed by 'Bombay Persuasion', a jitter of broken tech-funk building to a rumbling throb of bass, and 'Life', which chops up classic breakbeats with late night acid secrets. All three tracks combine Placid One's youthful exuberance with a yearning for the hardware mentasm of early Brit pioneers, the ghosts of Aphex Twin, Orbital and Kirk Degiorgio can be heard echoing through their grooves.

On remix duties we have Deutschland's finest Cass. who provides a blissed out reimagining of 'C Balloon', unravelling its synths into an epic of found sounds and ambient drift. This is followed by a floor ready refix from Ransom Note favourite Timothy 'Heretic' Clerkin, who rolls 'C Balloon' into a warm house jam, all classic synth hits and sun-rising acid bubbles.

Opening the EP, Black Magic sets an optimistic tone for what is to come from this new label. Intoxicatingly hypnotic and full of warmth, this track reminds us that it is always summer somewhere.
If Black Magic is essential in warming a party up, God Bless Atheism is the perfect way to bring us softly down on the other side. A modern Balearic anthem in the waiting, this is best enjoyed looking out to new horizons.B1 Street Sunbath sees Ponty exploring more-techy territory whilst still retaining the hopeful feeling that forms the backbone of this EP.
Closing the EP, Hidden Object has a strong tribal feel which hooks the listener. Using vocal chanting samples and simple repetitive melody lines, this is a perfect example of how less is often more in connecting with the dancefloor.

Khotin continues with his second release under the Waterpark alias. Side A goes fully epic with just under 12-min running time. Lush pads, bleepy FX and breaks building up to an explosive high pitched acid sequence. The flipside keeps rolling with aquatic grooves, zappy snares, and a drifting piano line. All generously extracted for a bonus ambient version to round off side B.

Parallel People are proud to announce the release of PPL001, the 12" debut from the collective's very own 'Winters'.
After simmering gently below the surface of the Melbourne music scene for just enough minutes now, Winters finally comes up for air with 'Sometimes For You But Mostly Just Because' -- four tracks of elevated jazz/house/soul landscapes, with Rhodes, synthesizers, and live percussion illustrating shifts between joy, melancholy, and cautious optimism.

Another cornerstone record from the mighty Strictly Rhythm catalogue, 'Waterfalls / Feel it' is an essential example of the deeper, more melodic style of house that emanated from NYC / NJ in the early to mid 90's. Originally released in 1991 the EP features the production style of Andrew 'Rags' Richardson with some co-production assistance from one Roger Sanchez. It perfectly encapsulates the style of music that would be played at clubs like the Loft, Shelter, Zanzibar and beyond, a more emotive and soulful strain of House that gives a respectful nod to it's Disco roots. 'Waterfalls / Feel it' has long been the toast of House aficionado's and is most definitely a record that will still have people rushing the booth asking 'what's this!'. An evergreen slab of wax indeed. Essential sounds for the heads.
'Waterfalls / Feel it' has been skilfully remastered from all original master sources and fully licensed and reissued officially for 2017.

Future Times is feeling super blessed to announce a reissue 12" featuring two hard-to-find cuts by John Selway and his Seltav project with Andrea Taverna. A Side "Shimmerdown" has been a rare grip for a long time on the original CSM wax, due to its status as one of the finest Rhodes-soaked, late-into-the-function cuts ever made. "SPQR", on the flip, is a massive house tune. Heavyweight action on both sides for the Deejays. Both tunes remastered by Dietrich Schoenemann at Complete. Yes!

There aren't many artists that can lay claim to having put out records on labels as divergent as Rough Trade and John Talabot's Hivern Discs. Perhaps this is because few artists express such genuine diversity in their musical tastes and creative explorations as David Kitt. Since the turn of the decade as New Jackson he has mined a seam of driving, ghostly house to run parallel with his solo strand of ambient folk electronica. His debut release in 2011 The Night Mail on Pogo channeled early record collection heroes Aphex Twin and Orbital through to Drexciya and Projekt PM but had one foot firmly in the 21st century beaming in like some futuristic cyberballad. On the flip side Hussle Free had that mix of house and boogie sensibilities with dark and dusty synths and vocoder that would become a signature. This was followed by acclaimed releases on Hivern, Permanent Vacation, Major Problems, Apartment and most recently Cin Cin. His debut album set for release on All City in May was recorded in Kitt's bedroom studio overlooking Dublin bay, its nocturnal hues very much a product of the nightshift often working on headphones with the rest of his housemates fast asleep. It takes full advantage of the scope of the LP format, ebbing and flowing between deep house club ready gems and more restrained and meditative beatless moments for the morning after. The recording process yielded many eureka moments with Kitt finally nailing sounds that had hitherto proved elusive.

"THE STORYTELLER" by RON TRENT'S GEMINI JAZZ is a tribute to JOHNNY HAMMOND "THE TONE" has hints of JACO PASTORIOUS. "THE PLACE INSIDE" is a beautiful piece with Latin Percussions & piano with a haunting Brazilian vocal. Support from LOUIE VEGA, VOLCOV, DANNY KRIVIT and FRANCOIS KEVORKIAN.

The first vinyl installment from ODT Records is a vinyl only EP: UFO Park. Produced by Romanian trio Lisière Collectif, and including remixes from Melodie & Teluric, under their duo alias Glueped, and from Steve O'Sullivan.

The music is a 4 tracks EP: where "U - 2902 - 16" is a classy minimal composition, blending a tight beats with a deep and bewitching atmosphere that have been re-interpreted by our two remixer on the B side. In the A2 spot, it's the warm deep and groove-oriented "B - 0912 - 15" that has been pressed.

Designs of the EP have been created by our faithfull Oriane Yo, who used Andu Simion photographies in a pure and simple arrangment.

Josh Butler returns with the third installment of the KAHU series
KAHU has become a concept that has allowed Josh to explore areas of his taste outside what people may expect. The tracks draw influence from tribal rhythms but are manifested within a hard, yet stripped back, minimal style. This limited edition vinyl-only project showcases a darker side to the underground House Josh Butler has become synonymous with.

All that jelly and no toast' - like when you find a bomb tune that's unreleased, deleted or totally scratched & distorted. All that Jelly' by Smile for a while' is exactly for tracks like this: Clubby
House Music by well-established producers but also from lesser-known guys + remastered gems from the 1990s. Every tune has its own story and is more than worth the black gold treatment.

The Klubb Kidz' was a short-lived project by Peter Primiani and Tyrone Solomon. Between 1993 and 1995 they released three records on DJ Duke's Power Music' and on 83 West.' It's that
typical mid-90s Jersey House with lotsa cut-up Vocals, Pianos and Organ chords. Real bangin' stuff! Loop-o remastered their 1994 tune Don't wanna hurt you' at the famous Calyx Mastering /
Berlin.

Karsten Weiss alias DJ with Soul' is a Deep & Vocal House enthusiast living and DJing in Berlin for quite some time now. His soulful instrumental tune (nomen est omen) is an ode to classical
House by the likes of Joey Negro, Kerri Chandler and others - an epic tune with a long build-up and two jazzy Piano solos by his buddy MickyWin.

Jordan Fields must be one of the most underrated producers of 90s Chicago House. He's done dozens of EPs and LPs under various monikers on tier-1 labels like SSR, House Jam, Large,
Daisy, Camouflage, Moody, etc. One of his first was Underground Fundamentals Vol. 1' on Strictly Rhythm Sublabel Red Cat' in 1994. Everybody Swingin' was also carefully remastered in 2016.
The EP is closed by Italian House Music connoisseur Gioele Giacopelli a.k.a. JWL from Perugia.
His tune's a reminiscence to all the Divas that have built the HOUSE.
