"Raining Colors" was recorded after returning from the BPM season in Mexico. Inspired by the slow Tempos and crazy rhythms heard while dancing at the Sacbe Jungle Party this was the result. Remembrance Of Breath was created for our performance before last years Desert Hearts. We felt it would compliment the surroundings of this wonderful outdoor festival.
Solar Flare response was originally created for fun using our friend, Colin C's, Alchemy Plug-In sound pack 'Essential Alchemy" for Loopmasters. We were so excited with how it turned out we decided to turn it into a full piece.
These songs reflect the deeper and heavier side of our creative output and the kind of music we enjoy playing at night after the freaks come out.

Jacques Bon motions through the day's early energy Dawning Light. True to the record's title, Bon composed the four tracks for his debut EP on Beats In Space Records in the morning sun, reflecting and refracting the colors of daybreak from his compositions.

Burning spheres aside, Bon draws inspiration from his past in Paris, where he slung records at Daphonics and started the label, Smallville with Pantha Du Prince, and his current life in Hamburg, where he frequently helms the legendary decks at Golden Pudel. Both cities and their scenes offer crucial cues for Bon's productions across Dawning Light and past releases for Smallville and Mule Musiq.

Beginning with licks from his Juno 106, filtered through the glide of a TB303 and foundational fits of his Roland drum arsenal, Bon embraces simplicity in setup to allow for maximum melody. Opening track 'Island' assembles the palette of Dawning Light, infusing the EP with a warm glow. 'We Are' twinkles like the first blinks of awakening, dusting away night's sleep with golden beams trickled onto tangled bed sheets.

'Aurora' evokes the first rush of the refreshed energy, shaking off yesterday and centering the mind, body, and soul to power through the hours. The record's title track bounces with youthful optimism, a fitting end for the four-tracker's mission of morning praise.

Each 12 on Beats in Space Records features original artwork in considerate and serial form. Andrew Kuo's prismatic painting holds Dawning Light in good polychromatic company, the geometric colors soft-coded entry point for Bon's music.

Ever since John Talabot released his debut single My Old School for Permanent Vacation in 2009 he has been on an ever-increasing rise as both a producer and a DJ - and as a talent you simply cannot ignore.

Following on from 'Au Seve' the undisputed soundtrack of the summer, 'Husk' will be released on January 21st through his own label Broadwalk Records.Speaking about the track Bashmore writes:

NHK yx Koyxen is a outstanding talent of Japanese electronic music. He released for Pan,L.I.E.S.,Diagonal and more remarkable labels so far.

he latest installment of Roam Recordings comes from the Japanese disco scene via the production duo of internationally acclaimed DJ Que Sakamoto and seasoned studio engineer NT. The title track 'Lalo' is an original production with a stylish edit of an obscure vocal. This slow paced groove has a lot to offer with its bells chiming, synths drifting, and peppered in vocal that brings it all together.The first remix comes from JP & Vulinej the partnership between JP Soul (boss of Roam Recordings) and Jeniluv (a prominent figure in the L.A. dance scene and partner in Roam Recordings). Having heard Que Sakamoto+NT's excellent single, Vulinej fell for the song and brought it to JP Soul at Roam Studios. Together they came up with a filthier heavy hitting acid bender.The second remix comes from Magic Touch who has made a name for himself for his critically acclaimed releases on 100% Silk and Tensnake's label True Romance as well as his performances at places such as Sonar, Unsound, and the legendary Panorama Bar. His remix of 'Lalo' perfectly rounds out the EP in an entirely new direction with elements of atmospheric electro combined with a consistent heady dance beat.The three versions of 'Lalo' together make this an extremely versatile EP that can easily fit for a variety of dance floors, raves, and discotheques.

His Rush Hour follow up, a full 12" titled 'Wave Ep' has just hit the shelves and is getting great feedback. Now Simon Weiss readies for a three out of three with a brand new 10".
Drawing inspiration from the famous 1920's silent film Metropolis. Simon Weiss, together with a photographer and a graphic designer, set out to bring their view on this dystopial setting. Bringing the three different art forms together will produce a final result that is impressive in every sense of the word. By focussing on being independent and self-sufficient Simon Weiss and his companions created utmost honest work.
Whilst the inspiration might be dark and sad, the music doesn't follow this same pattern throughout each of the four tracks in the package. A sparkle of hope is felt whilst listening to the intro; a longing vocal sample accompanied by a suiting drum pattern. Moving on 'Tomorrow' brings out more of this same emotion. It's smooth, sexy at times. Building suspense o so slowly. The crafty 'Worromot' really packs the punch. A drum heavy, oldschool sounding track, that evolves slowly into a dancefloor bomb. The outro gives you the feeling that there are good things to come. And to be honest, with this Amsterdam talent in our midst, we are quite sure there are so many good things to come!

Boogie Café Black's next outing gives you reworks of some stone cold classics from Undisputed Truth and James Brown and Mrs Shaw; On Side A, "Mannmademusic" brings the Deep Disco House vibe with reworks of Undisputed Truth and James Brown. Darren Brandon has been producing house music for more than 2 decades under various pseudonyms; Club Ice, Deep Sided and DJ Quad amongst others. He's worked with very close friend, Larry Heard and released material on Black Market International, Dance Mania, Alleviated Records and many others. Perpetual Rhythms presents some of his selected works under his guise Donnie Tempo. Trak Register is a beautiful arrangement of lush arrangments made for deep thought and the dance floor alike.

Grienkho (Pushmaster Discs, Sorry For This, Crimini Records, Austerity) It's well known that some towns like Bologna could have influenced the aptitude to dive your mind in a chaotic world full of music: It's up to you to put your own universe in order. That's what Grienkho did: face the music from a theoretical and then a technical point of view, finding the different possibilities into this constantly moving world. Dj Sotofett made a remix for him. JTS1 (Bosconi Records / Marguerite Records / Potatoheaz / Dionysian Mysteries). At that point the path to follow was clear, He started looking around myself doing research, going to different record stores and parties, listen to different music. White Material crew's Galcher Lustwerk and Alvin Aronson return under the guise of Studio OST with a 4-track EP of live jams on Lustwerk Music. While the pair's critically acclaimed 2016 debut 'Scenes (2012-2015)' leaned towards home listening, 'Eventide / Ascension' shifts the focus back to the dancefloor with two chugging cinematic house tracks. 'Eventide' is an evolving nebula of fluttering pads and lush percussion, while 'Ascension''s hot-electric drums are complimented by sharp synth chords that unfurl into controlled chaos. A beatless version of 'Eventide' and a drums only version of 'Ascension' sweeten the deal.

BBC Radio 1 favourites, the Swedish chill-wave duo Swim return to HMWL with their 3rd single Be There and two very special remixes. Hallo Halo aka Jon Dasilva and Jonas Nilsson deliver a tropically acid, club orientated remix. Ghost Immanels funky is vinyl only. 200 limited white vinyls."Be there"" was written during the spring. Amongst those on the Amsterdam club scene, Tom Ruijg is highly regarded as a DJ and producer. With a production history that stretches back to the turn of the decade, and includes releases under his given name on Bangbang!, Karat, Hot Waves and Soweso, he's no newcomer, either.Skyfall is his first 12' for Voyage Direct, following a fine contribution to the First Mission compilation - alongside friend and sometime studio partner Efde - back in 2015. More pertinently, the EP marks the first time he's used the Tracey moniker for a release.The title track offers a near perfect balance between head-in-the-clouds melodiousness - delivered via cascading, new age influenced synthesiser motifs, starry electronics and crystalline lead lines - and serious dancefloor grunt. The beats are crunchy and distorted, with that distinctive swing that comes from vintage drumcomputers. As a result, Skyfall' feels timeless, as if it was a pan-generational collaboration between Tracey, early Detroit futurists, and early '90s ambient techno producers.There's a similarly enduring quality about the equally impressive Earthrise'. While the restless rhythm track is reflective of 21st century European techno, Tracey's hi-hat hits recall classic Motor City productions. Throw in the kind of ghostly chords and TB-303 bass you'd expect to hear on vintage Larry Heard workouts - not to mention some complimentary electronic lead lines - and you've got another ageless composition on your hands.On the flip, Tape Records co-founder Deniro - a producer famed for his analogue-rich take on techno - delivers two tasty interpretations of Skyfall'. The 'Mental Mix' flips the original on its' head, delivering a rugged, acid-fired box jam that replaces Ruijg's cascading melodies with starry new electronics, and seemingly unstoppable waves of TB-303 tweakery.The chiming, life-affirming melodies return on his Oude Remix, which smartly fixes them to a thrusting, energy-packed rhythm track full of scattergun fills and bassbin-bothering kick drums. It's a fittingly sweaty end to a superb first Tracey outing on Voyage Direct.

The Smugglers Inn is an independent radio show/podcast which is produced and presented by Daniel Berman aka Red Rack'em/Hot Coins every second Wednesday at . The show has become a unique testing ground for new artists and productions and many of todays highly rated 'new school' producers benefited from early support on the show.

With a network of talent to draw from, it seemed a logical step to start a record label and this second release contains 4 tracks which have been specially selected by Red Rack'em to represent what he feels is the cream of todays new talent.

AL ZANDERS & MOOMIN REMIXES

Following on from Casino Times' debut album Familiar Circles, WOLF Music enlist Al Zanders & Moomin to remix their favourite cuts from the album.
Al Zanders delivers a classy deep house version of Carlotta while Moomin throws a curveball with a Drum n Bass remix reminiscent of a classic LTJ Bukem track from the mid 90's.

Panthera Krause has already introduced his music via EPs on Lobster Theremin and Riotvan and his contribution "Coochie" for Uncanny Valley's 5 Years compilation. On the "Umami EP", his first solo record for the Dresden based label, the Leipziger is back with an adventurous yet cheerful collection of tracks. He is a producer who is totally up for any influences. But in the end originality has to be the main focus. The title track has already made rounds on numerous dance floors and proved to be an irresistible organ House monster. Panthera Krause's tracks wiggle within the zone between epic floor moments and abstract beat structures like in the mighty "Z-Cuts" or in the flute-induced "Howling For July". Finally, ,,The Space Between Us" is an emotional ride through the twilight of eternal loss and extravagant hope. The artwork was created by Lisa Geue.

Sydney's Outer Time Inner Space move from record store to record label in 2017 and they're keeping it local with the first release. In 2016, Thomas McAlister AKA Cop Envy, turned in a stunning EP for UK label Opal Tapes. A percussive excursion through 3am mind melters, Thom proved his ability to craft seemingly effortless, yet undeniably entrancing club tools. Under new alias SEAN THOMAS, Thom extends his reach into deeper, harmonic textures. Heady melodic inflections float atop peak-time, rolling rhythmic beds in what feels like an ode to the late 90s, limited-capacity club excursions of Western Australia's Red Ember Records, Patrice Scott's Sistrum Recordings or the UK's Phono label

Shanti - I started Peach Discs because I feel like the time is right!!! I want to release music that makes me happy and build a little family with all my friends and friends of friends who I know are making great music. I also want this to eventually be my main home for releases. In the future there will be releases by a new Bristol duo called 'Fred' and a 12'' by Samuel as well as many others of course!

The first release, by yours truly, has an emotional and energetic breaksy number on the A side and the B side is a more striped down - ish , tough and bass heavy cut with some vocal samples. Both full of twinkly melodies and arpeggios as per usual! Enjoy : )

Finally vol.3 is ready - we continue with bringing house heros to the label - this time we asked Nate Tinsley aka The Nathaniel X Project if he wants to join the label, and we were lucky that he say yes.

This is REAL House music, funky deep beats, spoken words, and heavy melodies. High quality all the way. One the remix we brings Desos back to the label, his Luvless remix had big success, and this remix already has had very good feedback we can't wait for this vinyl to drop.

We here at WPH are not ones to celebrate each and every significant number in our history. We do not even consider numbers to be that significant. But what we do believe is that every story has its ending and that every ending should come with a bang. And so we have decided that the regular WPH series and the coloured vinyl-only series will come to an end together with one last release.
At a time when simply repacking and reselling classic releases has become more important than bringing new stuff we decided to join the reissue craze in our own special way. So we are bringing you not just a reissue, but rather a collection of three of our most wanted tracks with a little bonus thrown in that was already released but very much overlooked by the we-only-follow-what's-on-RA crowd.

With the dust still flying around from the mammoth Lessizmore 10 Year anniversary compilation earlier this year, the label jumps right back into action hunting down exciting new talent in the corner of contemporary house and techno they call home. Jasper Verrijzer has been releasing records as Ferro for the past two years, but the confidence of his production speaks to a much longer relationship with music. From his base in the Netherlands the precocious talent has already scored releases on Valioso, Kina, Souzou, Infuse and Oscillat and more besides. Meanwhile his DJ talents have seen him touring solidly for the past few years, not to mention being snapped up for podcasts by Phonographe Corp, Fabric and Fuse London amongst others. That should give you an idea of the talent the young Dutch man possesses. On this EP for Lessizmore we get an insight into the inventive approach Verrijzer takes to house music across four tracks of head-turning, heavy-loaded grooves. "Laura" leads the charge with a rock solid low-end rhythm section that would work just fine as a moody club track on its own, but the chill of the detuned guitar licks that ring out in the mix add an atmosphere that wouldn't sound out of place in an episode of Twin Peaks. "The Girl That Fed" sits in stark contrast with its tightly wound, high-frequency beat and luxuriant spirals of harp creeping subtly into the mix. The track moves with the functionality of a DJ tool, but in between the cracks there are incredible levels of detail at work. "The Wrong Wolf" is the quintessential meditative house cut, its insistent rhythm teased and caressed by dubby pulses of melody that call out a mysterious refrain throughout. Championing intense sound design and micro-sampling in the finest minimalist tradition, "Most Of Her Bread" rounds The Neverending Story out with a willfully experimental slice of techno that mutates perfectly over seven minutes. Across all four of these tracks Verrijzer's style is plain to hear, placing a great importance on insistent, danceable tracks while always reaching for a magic ingredient to make the style all his own.

"Party Hard Ton" will be released on Austrian label Luv Shack Records, and is about
the uniting aspects of electronic music and the celebration of the concept of partying. The styles featured on the album are as diverse as the artist involved; ranging from dark acid tunes like "Queer Nation", "Never Give up" and "Stumbling ft. Jonny Woo' to playful pop tunes "Right Now ft. Spiller' and "Cold Sweat ft. Space Echo'. "Yeah Yeah ft. Moralez & Sames', "Can You Feel The Love" and "The Way You Rock ft. Mirror People" channel early 80's Chicago house, whilst "Shine By Night ft. Snuff Crew', "Style Ga-Galore ft. ROTCIV' and "Party Hard Ton" have a more jackin' 90's vibe. "Happy House" is Hard Ton`s most modern outing and the blissfully reduced "Be My Spell ft. Adriano Canzian", a twisted ballad, is perhaps the most intimate track on the release.

Hard Ton appeared on the scene in 2009 and have since released music on labels like Dissident, Compost, Permanent Vacation, Gigolo, Internasjonal, Bordello A Parigi and many more. Their playful excursions into acid and classic vocal house have found them plenty of followers and friends, many of whom are now united on "Party Hard Ton".

The brainchild of the so-called 'fairy godmother of house' Abigail Adams, during the mid-80s and early 90s Movin' Records defined the New Jersey sound. A regular at the iconic Roxy roller disco in New York, Adams' skate-shop-turned-record-store was instrumental in supplying club resident Tony Humphries with the hottest records that everybody wanted to dance to. Danny Krivit, Larry Levan and Timmy Regisford were also Adams' friends and regulars at the store.
Taking the natural step into releasing records, Movin's first output was 'I've Got The Music' by Boyd Jarvis in 1987, followed by music from game changers like Phase II, 3 A.M. and Cassio The Cassmaster; straight up 'Jersey jams' that producers are still attempting to replicate to this day. All those standout records and more appear on this double 12' package, lovingly selected and compiled by Luke Solomon as part of the 4 To The Floor series. In the series, which will also delve into Fourth Floor, Sub-Urban and Slip 'n' Slide, Luke digs for those lightbulb moments of musical discovery. Once again fulfilling the role of your friendly record shop assistant, Luke's 4 To The Floor series comes correct with official label merch to accompany all of the releases, for that full rack-raiding experience.
'Movin' was very much a part of my youth,' says Luke of his connection to the seminal label, 'more than I actually realised whilst working my way through the catalogue. 4 To The Floor is very much about selecting music that has stood the test of time from each and every one of the labels. It will be a celebration of house music history.'

Ramona happily announces Benjamin Milz' first full-grown EP. Being made by a Frankfurt kid with a mature sound signature, "Basic Motions" nods towards what once was and what could be one day.

The next Pastamusik Release in September is coming from Borrowed Identity.His musical upbringing was a melange of ethnic music from friends, weird stuff from local libraries and whatever else he could find in record stores and on the internet, this explaining the fact he makes anything from classical to ambient, house to techno, experimental to electro, hiphop to pop music.
Never content with one musical genre, but always focused on making music with heart and soul, his releases demonstrate a broad musical range and a wide taste.His new Release on Pastamusik goes from Classic House, Dynamic Techno to Acid-Jack. Styles and applying them to dynamic arrangements that showcase a confident set of studio skills and a deep understanding of what excites the expectant dancer.

Following his bomb 'Booty Jazz' EP released under the Jupiter Jazz moniker alongside label boss Maceo Plex, Miami's finest Danny Daze goes solo to release 'The Calm' - two original cuts of deep dark house with a stellar remix from Dutch producer Dexter.
Title track 'The Calm' opens with a deep pulsating heart, beating and building as sweeping waves of trippy FX roll in and out with doubled up and slightly deranged vocals dominating the atmosphere. Swelling steadily with powerful synth lines and rhythm the track drops dramatically, kicking into a tight rolling groove that rides through the depth and layers.
Picking up the pace class-A producer and remixer Dexter takes the reins to spin his techno twist onto 'The Calm'. Making music since the mid 90s and with huge releases on the likes on Rush Hour and Clone, the Dutchman is a welcome addition to the Ellum Audio catalogue. Thriving with drive and energy his remix is an essential DJ weapon for any peak time affair.Rounding off the package 'I See You There' is the second original track on offer from Mr. Daze. Continuing in the same vein as 'The Calm' the track builds moodily with epic synths, industrial stabs and haunting vocals. Taking a turn it drops into a powerful dance floor bomb with deep, warm keys that beautifully carry the melody.
Already flying high in the game and with a hectic tour schedule lined up and a Radio 1 Essential Mix in the pipeline for this summer. 2013 looks set to be a big one for wonder boy Danny Daze.
