Belgian in origin, Igor Vicente and DkA join forces to create two monster tracks for their 'Haus Boo EP' on Hot Creations. Championed by Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Richy Ahmed it arrives hot on the heels of Hot Creations's Paradise events series announcement for Ibiza 2016, this is music made for those heady nights on the DC10 terrace.
On the A-side is 'Haus Boo' which the guys created after being inspired by the all time classic The House Master Boyz and The Rude Boy Of House 'House Nation'. Taking the release into a much darker realm is 'Shady' with a seriously addictive beat, endless high-hats and relentless snares.
Infatuated with music from a young age, Igor Vicente founded the Belgian Wildfamily Parties in which Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Dinky and Matthew Styles among others have all played. Some years later he formed one half of Ultrasone, and has released on Get Physical, Mobilee and Hot Creations multiple times. These days you can catch him playing at one of his two residencies in Belgium, Cafe d'Anvers and Fuse, and founding the label State of Flow.
DkA has his roots firmly placed in the house music scene and has taken his sounds all over Europe, whilst releasing on Get Physical Music, Mobilee Records and Play Label Records to name just few.

Simone Liberali has gone through a very successful road this past year and now is the time for his stop at Bad Barbie Records with an amazing single named Handshake. In this fantastic track we will hear how a simple groove goes building itself alongside a vocal line that complements perfectly the groove of the track. Slowly a fantastic rhythm comes from the low-end generated by a percussions group that perfectly blends with the bass line. The ambiences created by the synths and pads in the breaks, generates the needed tension to completely blown up any dance floor with this fantastic clubby track. Another newcomer is Andre Butano who paired up with Pool Muzik to remix this great single. They decided to work on a strong groove created by some bone shaking percussions but always keeping the original track soul very present as any great remix haves. Some other battery elements and very well placed arrangements completes a fabulous track creating a great party vibe. The last and not least of the remixes, comes also by another Chilean producer, Altamirano, who lean towards the tech house style. As his countrymen did, he also worked in a terrific way with the percussions line that are the main leading element of his remix, alongside the main vocal that suffers many unique arrangements during the whole track, but always drawing the attention and letting the powerful and continuous deep bass line do its thing.

So we start with the track " An Ever" which is one of my favorite tracks on the ep with its dreammy pads and its monterous stabs make for a fantastic floor stomper then we move to track 2 "RRECS with it deep Techno structure and its crunchy synth sounds and its moving drums and claps, Then we move to track 3 "What Is Free" This track here is a solid peek time killer with its bangin drums and its thick stabs and its cut vocal sound makes for a perfect Finale Sessions release. Then last but not least is the track BR56 its a techno killer for sure which will float on both sides for sure House / Techno with its massive chords and its nasty filters flowing in dimensional progression through its dubbed out drums and solid bassline .. So there you have another massive Finale Sessions release.

pril showers bring May flowers, but this April Claude VonStroke brings you "The Rain Break." Inspired by two different songs from the 80's - (Raze's classic 'Break For Love' and Oran Juice Jone's 'The Rain'), Claude has replayed and re-sung all the music from scratch to make a special cover tune of both tracks changed and combined into a surefire Dirtybird classic.
To quote VonStroke, 'I kept singing the Break For Love bassline over and over again in my head but the vocal that always popped in over the top was from the Oran Juice Jones. I cant explain why that happened but i just thought they went together so well that i ran with it.'
"Here Comes the B' is a much weirder affair. Built with massive psychedelic effects, a huge kick and almost no hi-hat pattern, this is late night cavemen music at its best.
This big release from CVS will have you wishing for a downpour so you can go Walking In The Rain.

Ilija Rudman meets London based singer/artist Andre Espeut for this classic house cut .
Performer/songwriter/arranger born in London with west indian african french and Spanish heritage. Brought up on a diet of house/rare groove/80's/Latin and Disco amongst many other genres. His love of music in all it's forms has lead him to create music from many genres. Amongst his many collaborative experiences, he has performed at the Jazz Cafe/Royal Festival Hall, Glastonbury and festivals in the U.K/Europe/South East Asia.Andre has been fortunate to have sung with and played tribute to the highly regarded late great Terry Callier on his journey.On this original mix , Charles Webster joined IMOGEN and took it to another level with clear vision for Big Room dancefloor.

Two of House Music's finest and most respected artists, Kiko Navarro & DJ Fudge, join up for a magnificent debut outing on Large Music. Created over a period of two days in the Hong Kong studio of DJ Fudge, each track showcases sublime chords, elegant grooves and classic summer vibes. The B side cut Limbo even edges into more minimalist territory while still preserving the emotive elements. As a bonus we enlist Large artists Purple Velvet for a deep house rework of Anyway I Want in their trademark chunky style.

Unclear Records' 10th release stands out as a landmark point for the Italian label: a tribute to the underground club Klang, it showcases some of the most acclaimed DJs who have graced the decks there, who came up with an exclusive track each for the compilation.
Big names such as Roman Flugel, whose Candy Crack is filled with trippy sinister sounds and piano chords, and Baby Ford, who gives us a special dark atmospheric mix of Satellite Stroll, are featured next to Heartthrob (his Whoever, Whatever's galloping bass line and acid synths brimming with freshness) and Okain (Livin Proof's funky mood and sax make it a total dance floor number). Oliver Deutschmann has produced a masterpiece of obsessive rhythm with his very own Rytmetika. Closing off in grand style, the Fratelli Perrone officially debut as a duo with La Stanza Magica, a stomping number with wonderfully playful beats and melodies.
During the summer of 2008, a group of friends who shared a passion for music gave life to a club that later on, unexpectedly, became an important platform for the growing revolution in modern Italian underground music.
Even in a little town situated in the middle Tuscany, every Friday within this space they captured the essence of dance floor music and hosted artists from all over the world.
As all stories have an end, this one concluded in 2013.
But, as with all good stories, this one does not intend to be forgotten.

The Untold Stories: Protagonist Series. Records dedicated to the stories of some venerable but unsung historical figures. The first of the Protagonist Series was created by Sil, and gives a glimpse into the spirit of the first such figure: Tadeush Konrad. Sil, the pseudonym of Kirill Sylantev, who is more widely known for his work in the duo Easy Changes, now begins solo productions. For the UNTLDPRO series his work dedicated to Tadeush Konrad is of confident vibe, with much swing and rich with soulful flashes from times past. This work is then remixed by Ztrl and Hubble. First comes the Ztrl remix, with energetic bass and a wealth of tones interrelating to great hypnotic effect. Then on the B-side Hubble's remix, an extended work, a floating journey of warm organic sounds, concludes the story and the spirit of Tadeush Konrad.

Technical playful acidic techno created in Malmoe - Sweden. Simon recently had a track out on the Lackmus Compilation (borft119). Before that some mysterious 12inches were released on Kontra-Musik... This is new, present updated, White vinyl Limited to 300x too...

What more can be said about Carl Cox The term legend is thrown about way too easily in electronic music, but there is no question about the status of dance music historys most recognisable global figure. A musical ambassador, a veteran of acid house, a champion of techno and a professional DJ since his early teens. Carl has been playing music, breaking tunes and celebrating life and never losing sight of his passions for over 30 years.
The list of accolades is endless, two top UK top 40 hits, 6 studio albums, 16 million weekly listeners to his global radio show, multi label owner, 12 years as the king of Space Ibiza, the most universally admired dj in dance music, and as Yousef puts it, when the history books are written, there will be only one name etched into authentic folk law of who was the greatest dj of all time - Carl Cox. Carl elopes for his first solo single away from Intec digital in many years. It's fitting that time for house music appears on the label of his biggest fan and padawan, Yousef and his renowned Circus Recordings.


The original encompasses the width of the Carl Cox sound in 2014, jacking drums, warm bass, a thumping Review excerpt house and techno hybrid, and of course the classic Cox energy and charisma that we all know (and love) Davide Squillace returns the remix favour for Carl in outstanding style, and it has to be said, this could be Davides finest moment as a producer to date, an incredible remake. Gnarly rhythms, picky hooks and a twisted bass, one of the great remixes this year no doubt.
After a chance meeting with Yousef, Second City confessed to how much he would love to be involved with Circus Recordings, so Yousef offered the chart topper a chance to remix Carl Cox (no pressure then) Second City reveals another side to his psyche, sharp drums, a pulsating groove, a track that will be at home with Carola, Dice and Fanciulli. To complete the package Circus Recordings own David Glass steps up, delivering a strong finale.
The killer remix was debuted at Boiler Room Liverpool to huge applause when Glassy appeared this month, proving why he is one of the leaders of the next generation of authentic house and techno names
The final word from Carl Cox: I have to say, everything comes to those who wait, and it was totally worth it. This package is amazing to say the least, all mixes, sound so good, but the David Glass is the clear winner for me, it so fucking funky, I cannot stop playing it. It rocks so much, I am almost in tears. Thank you so much for believing in my music as it means a lot.

A new face on the Polish Deep House scene is coming to hit you with some cool vibes by means of a splendid four tracker we're about to present to all the people who understand what Deep House is all about. Mirqlass is the name behind the project that will give everyone a positive outlook on modern sounds. 'Mirqlass EP' composed of four amazing tunes is the thing that has to be held in everyone's case if they want to keep up with the times.

The next DDS Release comes from labelowner Gianni aka Washerman himself, this time under his moniker Azuni. Azuni is an older project founded by Gianni Siravo & Sven Lacoste in 2007. Sven left the project in 2011. Azuni already made themselfes a name with various 12" releases on labels like Drumpoet Community, Morris Audio, Boe & Quintessentials and an Album called "City Look" on Agnes label sthlmaudio back in 2008 which was very well received by the Deephouse Community. Azuni's "I Feel For You" reached Nr.1 position in the beatport deephouse download charts in 2009. Azuni's tracks have been played & charted by dj's like: Rolando, Delano Smith, Steve Bug, Milton Jackson and many more. After a long releasebreak Gianni reactivates the project and brings us two deep & sensual Azuni tracks on this release.

The 'C-Scape' EP from Chromengel is the latest release on the Magic Waves label and features four tracks fit to set your turntables on fire once again! Chromengel is a secret production alias of an original 1970s kosmische and synth-wave veteran producer, and while the tracks all sound sonically fresher-than-fresh the musical experience shines through in equal measure. Opening the record is the title track, 'C-Scape', a melancholic leftfield electro builder that has 'instant classic' stamped all over it, and is followed up by the dark and deep dubbed-out electronic space sounds of 'Khamsin', a modern-day masterpiece evoking memories of Basic Channel, Aural Float and Air Liquide amongst others. Side B kicks off with 'Wes Too', a progressive piece of contemporary kosmische action that takes the energy levels to a climax before we finally crash down to Earth again with a bump for 'Photosynthetik', an electro beast that's as mean as it is futuristic and as tough as it is slick. As usual the pressing is limited so grab this while stocks last!

Ah, yes! Finally some real flavours to sink our teeth into.

The nose is truly a work of art. First the classic peaty smoke but so distinctly understated.

Confident in it's maturity. The salty pineapple citrus is next coupled with a refined lemon- lime toffee tartness. And finally a whiff of fresh cucumber sprinkled with the loveliest of white pepper. Oh, yes. This is what we've been waiting for!

The creamy mouthfeel is laced with intense black peppers but then mellows out to give you honey, lemon and chocolate with a dash of tobacco. The long peppery finish is fruity with a hint of limestone.

Exciting blend of organic and electrifiying house, ethereal melodies, encapsulates a lot of variety (as we like) remixes for the purist house heads as well as for fans of deep leftfield house or twisted groove addicts. Remixes are courtesy of Marek Hemmann (who has just released his highly anticipated second album on Freude am Tanzen), Compost's very own Philipp Stoya, Leipzig's hottest newcomer Talski and Marbert Rocel founding member Panthera Krause who has released a stunning EP of his own on Riotvan earlier this year.

Marbert Rocel, the East German indie popnjazz sensation and live band just brought their third album Small Hours to life, capturing a deep sense for beats, smoking, songs, indie pop trips including leftfield house- and jazzy affairs. As Groove magazine wrote an album finally progressed their own stunning charm into a higher sphere of danceable indie pop. Well, its true, Marbert Rocel music is light and sunny, but they working hard with patience, belief, a lot of cigarettes, and dozens of live gigs around Europe, to spread their charm with passion and a wicked glints in their eyes. There is this lack of pretention in their music which everybody loves, actually people from the techno, soul, jazz or pop worlds even all seems to be convinced. Together with Mathias Kaden, they formed the project Karocel and released the highly acclaimed album Plaited on Freude Am Tanzen.

Melodic house pioneer and Diynamic figurehead Solomun is back with his latest release, a compilation of some of his best-loved remixes from over the past 7 years. Comprised of 24 tracks spread across two CDs, the collection is due for release in June this year, and is split into a vocal and non-vocal disc. Both the CD and vinyl versions come with customisable cover artwork and a pack of crayons, reflecting the "remix" concept.

The first disc displays Solomun's skill for crafting intelligent yet crossover-ready reworks of both well-known and underground songs. Amongst these are some of the producer's most iconic tracks to date; the Solomun Vox Mix of Noir & Haze's 'Around' - Resident Advisor's no1 remix and Groove Magazine's no2 remix of 2011 - as well as his remix of 'Let's Go Back' by Kraak & Smaak, which was also Groove Magazine's no3 remix of the same year. His remix of Foals - 'Late Night' from 2013 also features, which, alongside 'Around', has racked up over 30 million views on Youtube to date. The largely vocal-less remixes on CD2 allow Solomun's unique production style to shine through. The dark beats of his remix of Stimming's 'Una Pena' feat. Paulo Olarte makes for an attention-grabbing start to the disc, whereas his dub mix of 'A Love Bizarre' by So Phat! and Claude VonStroke's 'The Clapping Track' shows his funkier side. Older remixes like that of 'Magnetic North' by Palm Skin Productions and Marbert Rocel's 'Cornflake Boy' prove Solomun's credentials with a traditional jacking house groove, underlined by those same distinctive lush basslines and melodic elements. Tiga & Audion's famous 'Let's Go Dancing' draws the compilation to a close, demonstrating Solomun's skill for bringing an entirely new dimension to an already very well-known track.

Matteo Pepe, Uabos, returns to Bitter Moon. Building on his first outing, A Point of View opens with the warming 303 grooves of 'A Point of View.' Clean beats and lush notes weave in this playful house encounter. Those same crisp rhythms are present in the funk filled 'Groove Is A Mystery' before slow burning beauty of 'Piano Fights', a track that will simply ignite anything it comes in contact with. Bright and energetic, 'Semen Without Touch' ends the EP, shimmering bars and playful twists wind together for a colourful close.
