Felix Da Housecat's esteemed label Founders Of Filth are back with their second release. The label has received an accolade of praise from the industry since their launch was announced on Resident Advisor back in May. Returning with the Aphrohead alias, Founders of Filth Volume Two is bursting with enlightening verses and impeccable instrumentation.
The Divine opens the EP with a haunting synthesis and enthralling lyrics. Aphrohead leads you down a path of eclectic percussion and that all important kick throughout. An almost space-age xylophone forms the melody of Moonroom's Hold/Release, building up to a frisky array of drums and shakers, propelled by hypnotic, slowed-down vocals. In-house band the FOFtre´aL Quintet end the label's second EP on a high with I Won't Try. An energetic beat structures the groundwork for the label boss and his enthralling backing singers, taking you on a journey with thought-provoking internal monologue.
Felix Stallings has been making his mark on the industry for over thirty years. The Detroit-born music veteran has worked with an impressive array of artists over the years and his productions span a wide range of genres from house and techno to trance and nu disco. Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris'  showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist. 

In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Additionally, Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz's up-beat and complex remix of "Dodge" is not to be missed. Monkey Safari's dedication to their craft is catching the attention of industry dignitaries and fans alike with their consistent releases and non-stop international touring. The Make Mistakes gang returns with their second record in the form of remixes of Roy England's techno rocker, Photon. What you get here is a package of dance floor cuts showcasing the varied styles, and tastes of the crew, making this a versatile record that's gonna find a way to fit in where ever it's needed.

On the A side we have a taste of Attentat's signature sound: hypnotic, driving minimal techno. A slowly evolving meditation, this stripped down, pulsing jam will ignite the late night dance floor. An irrepressible tinkerer, Roy England took the original, funked it up, worked it out, and streamlined it for peak time. In his remix, Roy crafted a consummate party jam, steady, pumping, and full of life. With his remix, Time for Trees takes you on a psychedelic, housey frolic through the woods. What we have here is a slow building, mind-bending groove, wrapped up in cascading waterfalls of sound.

The Make Mistakes label has built a diverse sound around a cohesive aesthetic. With the Photon remixes, they continue that tradition, with style and depth, fine-tuned for dance floor lovers.

So are our emotions in the presence of great art or music or literature, or acts of exemplary selfless courage such as those of Mohandas Gandhi or Martin Luther King, Jr. The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both.'

And it's the percussion that leads the opening on Side B, slapped over the outskirts of a labyrinth of industrial samples, to cool down in a slow paced closing cut, filled with hypnotic hi hats and broken drums.Expect Super Moon's creations to stomp a dancefloor near you pretty soon!

Latest installment from ELEVE Music is produced by Madrid duo Uanamani. Derk and Iterbio have been studying sound and spinning records for many years, and currently Uanamani is one of the top local live acts in underground events in Madrid.
Their analog multi-instrumental set up digs classic ambient and deep techno which morphs into a live organism, with tribal touchs from around the world. They join ELEVE inviting us to dive into their myths. During the journey, expect first class deep techno with bursts of reverberant hihats, syncopated percussions and harmonic wind whistlings, blurring the lines between adventure and mystery. The organic feeling is present through the whole ride with mutating arpeggios that will make the most obscure rituals go hypnotic.

Kin-Ben LABEL that is one of Japanese techno label in Ehime, western Japan releases brand new 12' vinyl by AnN who is a DJ / producer in Saijo, Ehime.
A side is a deep techno tune with his gradually amplifying tension and the gentle bass-line's reiteration sympathizing with metallic sounds like as sharpening a KATANA. And b side is the remix by Hironori Takahashi, who is still a worldwide DJ / producer in Japan and has released from many awesome label as Informa records and Arts.

Dutch producer Bas Bron aka Fatima Yamaha has been hammering out quality releases under numerous aliases for more than a decade now. Nevertheless it wasn't until the 2015 re-Vissuing of his fourteen-year-old track 'What's A Girl To Do' on Dekmantel Records, that his gush into the underground forefront has now exhilarated his unique talent. Fatima Yamaha starts of the 2017 year of Dekmantel Records with his second EP for the Amsterdam label and 'Araya' promises to be a worthy successor of his 2015 success.
The title track 'Araya' is the absolute eye catcher of this EP. Already tested in Fatima Yamaha's highly anticipated live-sets in the last months, with great response, 'Araya' is a dramatic curtain raiser that only he can make. Next to that, Bron effectively spills his keen ear for melody on the A-side with his typical electro-funk with 'Piayes Beach Bar And Grill'. Detroit's Keith Tucker is a man of many names, the man behind AUX-88, Alien FM, DJ K-1, Optic Nerve and more. If you have even a vague interest in the Motor City's electronic output of the last 20+ years his name will be instantly recognisable as someone who turns out the highest calibre Electro and Techno jams, the type of records that look towards the future for inspiration, existing in the subterranea and sharing the same artistic vision of artists like Juan Atkins Drexciya, Erik Travis, Shake, DJ Stingray and many more. Originally released on Scottish imprint Seventh Sign recordings in 2005 'Detroit Saved My Soul' is a modern classic. It features all the hallmarks of classic 313 Techno and Electro which is to be expected with Tucker behind the boards. First cut 'It's A Mood (Detroit Saved My Soul)' is minimalism done right - stripped back drums with minor synth stabs punctuating flurries of vocoders and KT's voice describing the D as he sees it to us via the medium of music. Killer stuff. 'Elektronik' is up next, almost classically A-U-X sounding, pure Electro beats for the heads. Fast paced machine Funk from 50 years time beamed back to 2017 to tell us what's really up. Oh, watch that bassline, you could get into trouble. Finishing the EP we are treated to 'My Mental State', a slower paced, psychedelic Electro cut with killer drums and rim-shots featuring, again, KT's vox weaving in and out of the mix asking 'where are you, what are you doing'. Absolutely essential tracks from a modern day Techno legend. Essential stuff.

As we welcome another talented artist to our family we asked Viken about the first part of a two part release and he told us...
"it's really important to understand that this EP is a series of pictures telling a story. Combining the names of all the tracks one gets this interesting and dreamy sentence,'On A Blue Road - A White Shadow - Feels The Winter'.To translate these pictures into music, I needed a very particular sound. Since I am a huge fan of Jazz music I took one of my favorite records, used a lot of samples and reworked them in my own way. From the technical aspect, I decided to reconnect with my first love: analog machines. I love working with sound textures. I stayed away from my laptop and all my VST/Plugins as I felt the need to compose these tracks in an unusual way: I wanted the sound to be really pure. That's the reason why this process was so essential for me. For me, this EP is the first one to sound like this".
This is the first of two releases from a deeply talented soul. A patient collage of house, jazz, acid squiggles and deep emotion. Played and loved all summer long by Lee Burridge at All Day I Dream, these tracks will stay with you through winter and into next summer.

The ambivalent, Hebrew word "BAAL" is a hint to the spiritual background of the two Munich artists Matthias Dräxler and Matthias Schüll. The direct translation of "BAAL" is "Lord". The term is used to address God in the Bible but can also refer to false gods or demons. It is up to the listener whether they want to focus on the dark power of the devil or the epic glory of God in the music of BAAL.

This the Eighth Release on Alan Fitzpatrick's Explore, Search and Discover label, we looked to Italy for the next instalment of the series, and as if by magic we found Flashmob.
Heroes in their own right for creating some pure house gems or techno slammers. Whether it be Defected or their own Flashmob imprint, these guys always deliver the goods.

After a super-busy 2014 summer season of distinctly exceptional releases from Juan Deminicis (Found02), Yunus Güvenen (LF014) and Brian Cid (LF016), Guy J's Lost & Found label is set to raise the bar again with an amazing meeting of musical minds.

Some collaborative projects are made in heaven and maybe this is one of those moments With an illustrious career stretching over two decades, Chico Shuella has become one of Israel's most respected and sought after DJs and producers. An accomplished pianist (with an exceptionally keen ear for musical harmony), he operates under his Chicola production moniker and has transformed the underground house scene in his homeland while making giant strides on a global scale.

Meanwhile, legendary Tel Aviv-based DJ, Sahar Z, a longtime veteran of the global techno-house scene, has also emerged as one of Israel's finest musical talents. Not limited by any genre or style, Sahar Z's influences come from many directions, creating his unique sound that transports the crowd through a journey of atmospheres and moods, from deeply melodic sounds and fresh electronica to harder yet soulful techno.

Chicola and Sahar first met 15 years ago while Sahar was the resident DJ at the famous Haoman 17 club (the biggest and most prestigious club in Israel). Chicola was the resident DJ at the TLV (also a very famous club) and the two musical connoisseurs DJ'ed together at many of the after-parties. Around 2004, the scene in Israel started to slow down and they both headed off to explore different musical opportunities, only to be reunited 2 years ago when they decided to combine their boundless creativity in a studio environment and make lots of tracks together. Two of their resulting, unbelievably amazing, diverse musical creations are now to be unveiled on Lost & Found.

Whether it be the hypnotic, subtly evolving, energetic, melodic vibes of "They Made Me Do It", or the slower, bass-heavy, abstract experimentalism of "Smoothy Moody", what you have here are two glorious creations that fuse together and break down any remaining genre boundaries in a truly futuristic fashion. This is music to hold close to your heart. This is music that has such freedom of expression that is more than the sum of its many parts.

Lost & Found is steadily building a catalogue of releases that are uniquely joyous, uplifting, intelligent and beautiful. Guy J and his ever increasing family of artists that he features alongside his own productions, are exploring the psyche of electronic dance music, asking questions and tasting possibilities, forging ahead into the future. This is a label that everyone should, most definitely, always keep on his or her music radar. Chicola and Sahar Z are the next exciting piece in an ever-evolving musical jigsaw puzzle.

Trikk (Bruno) sent Abstract Language to George at the end of 2014, and its been tearing roofs off across the world since. It's a big room belter, and we were mad keen to sign it.
Bruno's been with us since the 3rd release and its great to putting out another EP of his.Bruno then sent over Deviation 33, and the horns floored me.It's probably my favourite track that we have put out, which is fitting seeing as we are going to be putting the label on ice for a little while as we all concentrate on other projects.
We are stoked to have a remix from George's good pal Locked Groove rounding things off nicely..

SUOL label heads Chi-Thien Nguyen and John Muder aka Chopstick & Johnjon recently pocketed a gold record for their work as co-authors of Fritz Kalkbrenner's single 'Back Home'. But instead of spending their days celebrating on private yachts and sipping the bubbly, C&J have been busy in the studio churning out tracks for their new EP. And here it is. Throwing off the shackles of the radio format, the duo offer up four new long-form cuts for the clubs with 'Versions 2'. That is not to say the tracks are without pop appeal - they are intensely catchy and every bit as musical as C&J's previous output - but their approach is different from the emotional song structures, which were the hallmark of their debut album 'Twelve'. 'Keep It Real Son' might be the motto of this EP. Organ stabs, deep subs, whipping hi-hats, a funky Moog bassline and an instantly recognizable lead synth. This is House Music, baby. More cowbell you say 'I Need Your Love' has got what you want. The funkiest of percussion lines skips along to a rolling bass. Friendly chord stabs contrast a heavy groove. And the vocal gives a nod to early Nineties rave anthems. 'Strings For Fools' is a journey full of bouncy percussions from around the world. Triumphant strings send you flying while the track surges forward with its pounding kick and huge bass. 'Wait A Minute' builds around a two bar guitar loop and a live electronic bass. Two short vocal bits echo their way across a snappy beat. With classic filtering and a pitchbending West-Coast Hip-Hop synth that's all you need to get the entire dance floor smiling. Back in 1955 an unidentified flying object was spotted by a couple of farm workers nearby Llangollen's Castel Dinas Bran (Crow Castle). A young man named Dewi Llandlenip had taken some astonishing photographs of what appears to be a UFO hovering above the ancient medieval site.

He was sure, this was THE PRESENCE OF THE TIME TRAVELLERS. Crow Castle has always had a mysterious presence, but this took them by surprise, a kind of CLOSE ENCOUTER TYPE III. Shortly after this bizarre moment they were all left stunned and knocked to the ground, the object had gone without trace and their memory obscured into a so called ABDUCTION RESET.

Inability to achieve such pleasure is likely attributable to over-analysis of the aforementioned audio content — or to improper amplification.

Each of Shades' three LPs features suites of tracks that, considered alone, comprise their own distinct, unique worlds. Disc One opens with "I Know The Face, But Not The Name," an unabashedly plaintive trip through classic electro rhythms; flip it over for "The Words Are Only Sounds," a haunting affair for synthesizer and voice. Disc Two's "The Electric Eye is Upon Me" swirls endlessly, while "Shiba Inu Dub" is cut for the floor and coy as its namesake. Disc Three's jackin' "Feel Your Body" will cause you to do just that; "German Friendship" sounds like D.A.F. on dissociatives.

This body of work is not intended to generate ideas; rather, its goal is to produce physical sensations in the listener.

After two years of releasing collaborations and remixes, Jeroen 'Secret Cinema' Verheij returns with a solo EP. The Amsterdam based techno producer has never been one to copy others with many timeless classics to his name. He pushes himself to write music that sounds different while at the same time appealing to the often large crowds he plays for. After two years of searching, the peaces fell into place. With Séance EP Verheij has ushered in a new creative era for himself. Séance EP is trippy, complex, strange and powerful. Secret Cinema proves once again that he is one of those artists who really knows how to bring machines to life.

At long last, it's finally here. After two years of waiting, New York's Anthony Naples is ready to finally reveal his debut full-length LP, Body Pill, set for release on February 17th on Four Tet's Text Records. To coincide with the announcement, Naples has made 'Refugio,' the first single from the LP available. Listen to the full track here.

It's a amazing how much can happen in a short time frame. At the beginning of 2012, Anthony Naples didn't have a song to his name; by the end of that year, he'd been heralded as one of the city's rising producer talents. The genesis was 'Mad Disrespect' — a single that dominated Brooklyn's underground electronic music scene from even before its offical release. The track was a milestone for all involved. Not only was it Naples' first single, but it also was the first track he'd recorded, period. On a whim, he sent the track to Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter, the founders of New York's respected Mister Saturday Night series. A regular at their parties but an unknown to the duo, Anthony caught the pair's attention with 'Mad Disrespect,' and ended up as the cornerstone of label's inaugural release: the Mad Disrespect EP.

Anthony's music caught the ear of a number of people that summer, none more important than Kieran Hebden, aka Four Tet, who commissioned Anthony to remix his single '128 Harps' — again, Anthony's first remix at that point. From there on, things sped up. He followed 'Mad Disrespect' with a series of 12' released on a veritable who's who of influential labels: Scotland's respected Rubadub label, Four Tet's Text Records, Opal Tapes — all of which culminated in El Portal, his EP for Will Bankhead's Trilogy Tapes imprint. Along the way, he was invited to open for Four Tet at London's Fabric and invited to play Berlin's prestigious Panorama Bar.

And now, a little over two years later, comes Body Pill, Anthony Naples debut full-length for Text Records. As Anthony tells it, the title comes from a mangled English translation that caught his eye in a Japanese vending machine. 'When I ran the title past Kieran, and he said it just sounded like a lost rave classic, but I thought in the end it makes sense. The LP is a small dose of synthetic noises and rhythms.' Naples says. Stylistically, the album draws inspiration from the city that gave Anthony his start: New York. 'I wanted to make a streetwise record that was also solid and simple, like a brick or those weird fluorescent light tubes in the subway. They give off this weird hum that you hear only when you're alone in the station between trains late at night. I wanted to make a record that evoked that experience.'

Body Pill is a surprising album for Anthony, his most understated and mature release to date. Body Pill opens with a wall of ambient noise on 'Ris,' only to be overtaken by an a modest synth groove. Ambient noise washes over and eventually overtakes tracks like 'Way Stone' and 'Pale' later on in the record. But that's not to say there aren't echoes of Naples' work for Mister Saturday Night lurking throughout the record. 'Abrazo' feels like the natural companion to Anthony's earlier singles, with elegant strings mingling with a deconstructed house-inspired beat. 'Used to Be' is arguably Anthony's largest beat to date whose rolling hi-hats counterbalance the track's stabbing synths. The album's closer 'Miles' abruptly morphs from a lo-fi house anthem into a surprisingly minimal synth soundscape, a microcosm of the record as a whole.
