Samuel van Dijk aka VC-118A returns to Delsin and gives us a taste of what's cooking in his futuristic electro lab. On this fierce two-tracker 'Crunch / Plonk' the Dutch producer presents two rough cuts of his trademark machine sound. Three smoke-filled endless loops add up to the a-side for a taste of his forthcoming album early next year.

Yila, an ex-Londoner based in Ljubljana collaborated with two Dj's: French London based Giom and Slovenian Alleged Witches.

The combinations were the focus; each person bringing their unique style, this natural melding deciding the genre without confines, guided by the Dj's understanding of what works in the club.

The second instalment of minimood's multidisciplinary fusion series features Die Wilde Jagd with an extensive rework of the neo-romantic ’Morgenrot’ as well as a vast array of diverse remixes by Ancient Methods, CV313, Luigi Tozzi, Roman Flügel, Rude 66, Steve Bug, The KVB, Vactrol Park, and Variant. This gatefold 3x12" vinyl only release is visually enhanced with intricate hand-drawn artwork including inlay by Dusseldorf based artist Susanne Giring. Written and recorded by Sebastian Lee Philipp with his Uhrwald Orange studio collaborator Ralf Beck, ’Morgenrot’ originally appeared on Die Wilde Jagd's debut album in 2015.

For this release, Philipp and Beck re-visited the song: the ensuing ‘Fangschuss Version' enjoys an augmented arrangement, additional instrumentation and a haunting guest vocal by New- Zealand based singer Nina Siegler. In Philipp’s words, the 'Fangschuss Version' constitutes “a venture to capture the spirit that has been guiding this fusion release - a desire to explore the concepts of friendship, time, distance and memory. An attempt to unveil fragments of the unseen and to reveal the surge of a distant remembrance in an embracive listening experience." 'Morgenrot' subsequently gets a highly varied remix treatment by a range of carefully selected artists.

While Vactrol Park navigate the original audio material into beautiful ambient territory, Ancient Methods showcase an epic masterpiece of enchanting medieval-vibed techno. The KVB turn the track into a dreamy cold-wave trip and Rude 66 dives into a dark, primetime, anthemic dimension. For Roman Flügel, it’s a slow, organic, starry-eyed approach and Luigi Tozzi transforms 'Morgenrot' into hypnotic & loopy, minimal, deep techno. The rework by Steve Bug plays with the original's melody and a danceable kosmische-infused house cut emerges.

The final two remixes are both crafted by legendary Echospace Detroit mastermind Stephen Hitchell: absorbing deep trips into mesmerizing dubtechno by CV313 and into foggy lo-fi ambient by Variant.

To say we're simply just "excited" to get this phenomenal album by Double Geography out would be a monumental understatement - it has been on rotation here at INVINC HQ pretty much constantly for a couple of months now.

Double Geography is Duncan Thornley, one half of Weird Weather who have released on Emotional Response, Going Good and the Whip+Lash imprint, exploring sometimes hypnotic, sometimes abstract experimental tech-tronica.

Double Geography, however, takes us deep into the undergrowth, into the world of plants. With tracks named after a variety of flora the music could loosely be described as laidback ‘balearica'. However, where much of that genre (if it can even be called a genre) has spawned so much insipid, mediocre coffee table ‘lounge music', The Indoor Gardener has retained that crucial element of tripped out psychedelia that transports us just that little bit higher.

Technical wizardry is also very much apparent. Thornley's day job as an audio engineer shows. The unique character of the sounds we're hearing seem as rich and diverse as the natural world that inspired their creation.

So relax, take a deep breath and take a wander round this botanic paradise - a psychedelic Garden of Eden for the 21st century.

In Search of Ancient Civilization is an contemporary electronic work at its finest, although the tools used to shape its sound are linked to a folk tradition. For that matter the album features musicians from within Vakula's creative circle. Tracks that needed specific vocals and also rare instruments such as harp, fujara, tambourine have been produced in collaboration with Olena Nevertii and Yaroslav. The artist has sampled himself while throat singing along with field recordings in natural surroundings.

There's a message behind the carefully made-by-hand fantasy aesthetics of the production and its unconventional voice. Vakula's fascination with the Ancient world moved him through the history of humanity, to the point where his findings were insightful enough to warn the listener: "It's time to wake up".

During the last 5 years Herrensauna has become one of the most esteemed spaces of Berlin's queer underground. Showcasing a sound between experimental sonics and heavy techno in an open and intimate club setting, the collective has launched a batch with some of the most influential artists of the new generation of techno such as residents SPFDJ, Héctor Oaks and co-founders CEM and MCMLXXXV. With Tresor as their main home in a monthly basis, they have expanded their vision internationally with showcases at clubs around Europe and key appearances on Boiler Room as well as an upcoming Herrensauna Takeover with the 4 residents B2B to close the UFO1 stage of Dekmantel 2021.

Now Herrensauna are set to kick off their record label presenting music by the underground talents they have been supporting in a series of vinyl EPs. The first installment includes tracks by in-house resident Cadency aka Héctor Oaks, Copenhagen's Fast Forward member Sugar on the A side, and the duo of Peder Mannerfelt & Pär Grindvik aka Aasthma featuring London's Dale Cornish as well as Historical Repeater, the collaborative project of Copenhagen-based producers Ctrls and Solid Blake, on the B side. Solid Groove label boss Aubrey re issues his 1995 ep Ginger Biscuit with the track Ginger Biscuit which was mistakenly named Shimmer on Derick Mays Mix up 5 for Sony Japan, the other three tracks on the ep are classic dub techno at its best

The project began as an experiment. Haley switched digital audio workstations, rebuilt his palette of sounds, and tasked himself with simply trying it out. The exercise freed him of expectations and permitted a process that echoed the tones of more immediate external environments. A gravity had seeped in; resulting material shifts between bleakness and sublime suspense, awe at the expanse of existing, in looking back and letting go. “It’s a sort of sad smile and a wave goodbye but at the same time hello, a 'welcome to your life’ moment,” Haley says. Take the storm pattern sequence from “Gaussian” to “Ultrafiche of You”: a queasy, contemplative vignette rests on a single soft-synth cloud before the latter’s percussion ripples across the sky. With trademark stutters and swells, the composition conjures the sensation of searching in the afterglow. “It’s a love song, and I don’t write many of those.”

Modularz welcomes Italian producers Conrad Van Orton & VSK who have both released a wealth of strong releases over the years. As fans of their sound Developer asked the two producers to create something special for Modularz and this is the result of that. The release contains 6 powerful techno cuts that will work perfectly in both the club or the warehouse.

UX 002 A is looking at the link between how hard a kick drum can be without scaring people too much, a fine balance I believe. The B side does not have a kick drum. These two tracks are not good friends.

'Keep it Simple' is anything but, the atmosphere came from an early morning field recording in the departure lounge of Milan airport, the chatter and noise comes over as something almost alien and the melody came later after an alcohol soaked evening sitting by candlelight with friends, playing the piano. Despite it's multiple layers it has only one message - give trance a chance. 'At Last' is a more direct affair, with a classic call and response pattern, the 0-coast shouts aggressively at the microbrute and the microbrute responds with a howl not dissimilar to a lost whale calf calling for its mother.. either that or its just a banger.

Another phenomenal release on the already acclaimed Blumoog Music. Three tracks of absolute quality and pure energy. Mreux opens the project with ‘Radar’, an explosion of psycho-acid that will take you to a new dimension. ‘Deep Space’ is characterized by a powerful and mentally persuasive groove, a journey to the edge of the mind.

NX Records is a collaboration between Matthew Herbert's Accidental Records and the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, University of London.

In May 2013, the label launched with an introductory mixtape and live performances as part of the Puregold Festival launch at the Southbank Centre. NX Records has continued to release new, critically acclaimed music, host numerous events and run an annual pop up record shop.

The label's mission statement is to create a new model for the music industry, connecting exciting talent from the renowned creative hub of Goldsmiths - and the wider community of South East London - with the ever-experimental Accidental Records.

Our aim is to build connections between emerging artists, education, the industry and audiences. NX is a professional label that works alongside, not in opposition with, DIY artists.

The first in our series of experimental split 12"s focuses on instrumental electronic music.

The Drip EP brings together four distinctive producers and one set of sounds - The Drips. The result is a compilation of 4 tracks that bring the swing and sampling of some of Accidental Jnr's finest to produce a soaking wet dancefloor.

First up is label boss Matthew Herbert with a trademark groove that harks back to his Wishmountain moniker albeit found lurking in the swamp. Cosmo Sheldrake takes a slight departure from his usual multi-instrumentaling live-looping avant-folk to deliver a track that could only be described as travelling circus aqua-techno. Bahraini born, French / US bred and now Edinburgh dwelling video game builder, sound designer and sometime Scottish league football referee Yann Seznec opens the B-side with an absolute stormer of a rain drenched club hook. Sussex based producer Crewdson and builder of such electronic instruments as the Eggiophone and Concertronica closes proceedings with a drizzling evolving 2-step number.

Kick off 2019 with In The Dark Again 11! This latest installment brings together 5 great tracks. The Bleak Engineers from St. Petersburg (Svetlana Zombierella and Alexander Moralez), lead the way with their irresistible groove and melancholic synth melodies on - Scientific Science'. Next up with a heavy hitter called - PTP' is Synkronized, the specialist in dark electronic sounds out of Russia. Coming in third on the A Side is a fascinating sinister baseline with a hypnotic build-up titled - Electronic Humming', produced by Pablo Dissko (born in Greece, living in Amsterdam).

The B-side keeps it rolling with Greek artist KSTS' wicked Electro on his vocoder-driven tune: - Three Hundred Dark Times'. Closing out the collection is Alavux (born in Serbia, living in Macedonia), another true Electro master delivering a banger called - Bender', that leaves absolutely no questions.

A testament to the growth of Adam Beyer’s scene-leading label, Drumcode annual A-Sides Vol.8 is the brand’s biggest yet.

The 25-track strong compilation, split across 7 EPs, features standout cuts Beyer has received over the last 12 months, but been unable to find room for in Drumcode’s regular release schedule, such is the volume and high standard of music that’s submitted.

Part 4 sees Juliet Fox provide the hypnotic ‘Was Beautiful’ with it’s spellbinding vocal samples, as Marco Bailey unshackles the trance-inducing ‘Haku’. The flip houses Tuscany’s Luca Agnelli with his glitching powerhouse ‘Apollo’ and Jay Lumen’s ferocious ‘Razor’.

The highlight-rich compilation also includes Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian’s buzzy Drumcode debut ‘The Grid’, Nicole Moudaber’s first DC release in 5 years with the mesmerizing ‘This Is Us’, Will Clarke’s bass-drenched re-work of Adam Beyer & Bart Skils ‘Your Mind’ and Joey Beltram’s first Drumcode release in 11 years with the retro-tinged ‘Can You Feel It’.

The beloved Alan Fitzpatrick returns to the fold with the searing ‘Heiße Rakete’, while the exciting Hyperloop project links up with Upercent for the slinky loop-driven ‘Rouge’, alongside label mainstays Layton Giordani, who drops the stirring chord-driven ‘Chrome’ and Wehbba with ‘Mantra’, combining techno classicism with future-focused groove.

There’s a troupe of debutants donning the Drumcode jersey for the first time, including BEC, Shelley Johansson, Avision, Zimmz, Woo York, SAMA (in a terrific collaboration with Secret Cinema) and Ilija Djokovic, who delivers a shimmering highlight with ‘Aura’, a particular favourite of Beyer’s over the last year. Raxon also debuts on the label after a couple of quality additions to the Truesoul back catalogue.

Exciting young gun Weska brings heat to the compilation, while Veerus and Timmo follow up strong DC releases with a repeat dose. Elsewhere faithful contributors Ramon Tapia and Mark Reeve craft powerful dancefloor weapons.

Electro Transmissions 002 is a killer EP produced by the electro boss Zeta Reticula. Very limited units, this time on glow in the dark vinyl, packed in a really nice way as we have come to know by the Fundamental crew!

Second release of five in the Kavalanic Languages series - three nautical house tracks by Bill Westerby.

Cardiff based DJ and producer Guy Evans has been producing music since 1992, although it was only in 2014 that he had his first vinyl release on the Glasgow based label ALL CAPS.
Since then, he has released both new and archived material on labels such as ORGANIC ANALOGUE, CEJERO, CRISIS URBANA, EXOTIC ROBOTICS and many others. This EP marks the first release on his own label 'OTHER WORLD MUSIC' and features 5 tracks created recently by the producer which cover a broad range of styles, from Detroit house, downtempo ambient to futuristic sci-fi breakbeats. Some of the tracks on the EP have already gained airplay on stations such as NTS Radio and we look forward to hearing more releases from the label in the future.

Club-fueled horsepower drives this 9-track "Cinnamon Behind the Wheel," as the Asheville-based producer DZee weaves together a collection of shapeshifting landscapes of euphoric breaks, gritty industrial rhythms, hypnotic-induced dub and UK rave stunners into a cross-pollination of both UK and US inspirations. As the cofounder and operator of TRAM Planet, DZee forges new frontiers for the label with this wild ride into pure dancefloor heat for all sound system terrains.

Whether it's the arpeggiated vocals in the rave anthem "Expired Lotion Aug 29," the kinetic feedback beatdown of "Ho Ken Waa" or the electro breaks hybrid opener "Phantasy Rewind" - "Cinnamon" has as many shades of styles as it does bangers. But DZee flexes more than just versatility prowess here, as it clocks in at nearly 50 minutes, the release covers a masterful blend of wide range BPMs and seamless arrangement structures that run as smooth as the shifting gears of a high octane engine.

Dutch producer Frank de Groodt, well known for his projects like The Operator and Sonar Base, produces his 4th release under the name Fastgraph. He already made big impact on Adults Esatz Audio label and kicked ass with 2 releases on Klakson. Again he drops 4 deep and dark Drexciya style electro tracks!! The raw deal for what he is best known for.

2019 has sparked a new evolution for the transient broken beats of London’s Itinerant Dubs.
The enigmatic imprint has been running in silo since 2013, providing the final strongholds of the underground with innovative bass aesthetics and an intoxicating electro swarm. In fact, “It’s Magic” opens the A-side with a cold, bruising cut of metallic percussion wrapped around lonesome, dystopian bleeps and form-shifting synths. Minimised and stripped-back to its core functions, guided by bold infusions of breaks. “Oh She Dance” is the duo’s most playful construction yet, mashing up a loose jungle flow with more rigid breakbeat science to form a deathly machine-gun of sonics. Bullets keep spraying across “Salsa On Mars” - a raucous, percussion-heavy slice of dubbed-out house - albeit with a moodier, more introspective groove that takes its ammunition from London’s inimitable jazz arsenal.

After his fantastic acid bomb 'Carve', released in 2014 as the opener of DMT 004, Lee Holman finally comes back to the label with a full E.P. And yes, if you know Lee, you know it is going to be analog-infected!

The vinyl opens with 'Provider', an in-your-face techno attack with a directly recognisable synth-line and some heavy claps that will drive you insane. 'Disarmament' takes us in much deeper territory, with some beautiful pads opening up through the track, while the a reverberated layer of percussion keeps the dancer on his toes. 'Breaking the Code' brings in the acid, while the track bleeps away to eternity, taking us further into Lee's dark universe. The E.P. finishes with 'Eagles in a Cage', a beautiful introspective piece of ambient music.

MUSAR continues to explore the healthy landscape of underground and alternative electronic music with the debut release on the label from Nightwave. 'The Journey' is a fitting title for the Glaswegian producer, DJ and promoter, who has been a lynchpin for the city's vibrant music scene since her first release in 2010. In the time since, Nightwave has a developed a punchy and highly original sound that blends potent influences of acid, techno and forward-thinking bass music, with releases on DABJ, UTTU, Fool's Gold, DEXT and her own imprint Heka Trax.

For her MUSAR debut, Nightwave celebrates, in her own words, "joy, dance, exploring inner worlds, the celebration of nature and life and how it all interconnects". On a delicate tip, opening and title track 'The Journey' establishes the EP's "rainforest rave" aesthetic, spiralling upwards with weightless energy. It's underlying percussion steps forward on 'Jiboia Groove', which blossoms thrillingly into wave upon wave of ethereal, breakbeat-led rave.

'Monkey Puzzle' pulls a similar, if more uncompromising trick, only with its rhythmic timber instead succumbing to layers of rough-hewn, squealing acid synthesis and pounding snare drums. 'Forest Guru' meanwhile restores much of the record's spiritual equilibrium in one fell swoop, finding a clearing in the landscape to sculpt a rolling, detailed jam that's as playful as it is creative.

Naive founder and Lisbon's rave goddess, Violet generously remixes 'The Journey' in intriguing fashion, unravelling a trippy and tense riddle at the heart of the rainforest.

Pailhead was a collaboration of vocalist Ian MacKaye (Minor Threat, Fugazi), Ministry’s Al Jourgensen and Paul Barker, and drummer Eric Spicer (Naked Raygun).

In 1986, MacKaye was just a few years away from his genre-defining work in Minor Threat and on the cusp of starting an even more influential band, Fugazi. Al Jourgensen was also undergoing a transition with his band Ministry after the release of “Twitch”. He wasn’t the guy who would release the game-changing “The Land Of Rape And Honey” a couple of years later, but he was well on his way.

Alain met Ian when he was living in London. Both found common ground musically and politically and decided to collaborate on a project that would fuse elements of industrial music with hardcore punk. The result was a bunch of unique and unrepeatable hymns.

Pailhead released one first single “I Will Refuse” / “No Bunny” in 1987 and next year the 4-song EP “Trait”, both on the legendary Wax Trax! Records.

In a year which made impossible the now highly anticipated annual unveiling of new projects and collaborations that usually accompanies Berlin Atonal, the festival has compiled a major selection of new works by a range of artists from across the advanced musical landscape. Entitled More Light the compilation traverses the vast spectrum of musical
experience.
French producer Aho Ssan - who made his debut at Berlin Atonal’s 2019 edition - has smelted the vocals of Exzald S into a multi-layered track that gestures towards a future language for computer-produced music. New York’s Hiro Kone pairs with group A’s Tot Onyx to debut their collaboration with an outstanding showpiece of groaning power-surge electronics, while legendary futurist Gerald Donald XOR Gate alias.
Speculative widescreen-electronics protagonists Roly Porter and Paul Jebanasam unveil the first recorded track of their collaborative Altar project, conjuring up an entire ecology composed of both positively and negatively charged emotional-electronic particles. Enchanted Belgian magicians Pablo’s Eye offer a new track that grows out of the melancholic ambient-pop that the collective has been making since the 90s, while Nkisi hones in on a section of her premiere Atonal ’19 set ‘’Initiation” and reworks it into a brawling, bleak, hard-edged trampler.
These tracks sit beside a transformational collab between Abdullah Miniawy and Carl Gari, evocative synthesised works from Caterina Barbieri and Laurel Halo, unclassifiable post-ambient from exael and Kazakh-British violinist Galya Bisengalieva and much much more. The festival’s legendary revived imprint which has previously hosted contributions from Cabaret Voltaire, Psychic TV, Marshstepper and others now has a monumental new chapter.

Paris based label Rose Et Rosée is proud to present the first solo EP from artist BATAILLE. This second release from RER is a self-contained universe that fits into the label's open-minded, experimental style. Veteran of the Parisian club scene, BATAILLE has risen through the ranks of several house and minimal labels with his group Antislash (Circus Company) as well as joining forces with trans-genre labels such as Silicate to release solo work under the name John Merrick. With this EP he delivers two tracks that share the same tone but differ in intention. Like two sculptures crafted from the same material, these pieces use a common tool to reveal two distinct aspects of the artist's psyche. The spirit of the record is eminently sensitive and in this respect Bataille develops a panorama of emotions to illustrate his narrative, culminating in two poems that are a reminder of howtechno can tell a story as well as make people dance. A1: DUB CONNECTION relates an aching surge in a deluge of chanting, heady synths. The loops emerge from the track in search of a summit that doesn't appear, and this restraint, this melancholic pressure, is vertiginous like the insatiable moments of adolescence. In a confusion of grace and hostility, DUB CONNECTION bellows out that all is lost yet the game was still worth playing. A2: ACID DIRTY LIFE is another vicious spiral. But unlike the internal storm of DUB CONNECTION, this is an acid hurricane that threatens the world and its inhabitants. Turbulent rhythms bid us to a tropical communion where the seasons favor techno that is hot and heavy.

Samuel Jabba is the label co-founder of a new vinyl only label called From the Void Above. Hailing from Bogotá, Colombia, Samuel is a young DJ and talented producer who creates music spanning different genres of electronic music.


On his debut release for Blkmarket Music, the A side starts off with his electro track ‘Acid Pleasure’ on A1. The A2 track ‘Space Mirage’ takes you on an outer space voyage focusing on the more deeper side of techno.


The B side kicks off with his heady breakbeat track ‘Robotics’ on the B1. On B2, Samuel takes us on a dark journey with his minimal electro track entitled ‘Random Demise.’

We are excited to release a 6-track EP from San Francisco based DJ, producer, and remixer Sepehr Alimagham. The San Jose native has been a fixture in the Bay Area house and techno scene for quite awhile now — on the dance-floor, behind the decks, in the studio, or all of the above. Early influences like Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin and post-hardcore bands later in high school started his affinity for off-kilter, underground music. In 2017 he began performing live PA sets, utilizing his immense production backlog to perform vivid and electric sets, from potent dance music to psychedelic and esoteric soundscapes.

"Body Mechanics" is six tracks of acid drenched dance music that ebb and flow from floor filling club thumpers to more cerebral soundscapes. Inspired by the new wave of the acid sound as well as nostalgia from his formative years in the San Francisco music scene, 'Body Mechanics' takes a functional, yet psychedelic approach to 303 styled techno and electronica. Attention demanding basslines, indiosyncratic structures and hallucinatory atmospheres provide an effective framework for Sepehr's vision. The themes of the track titles take root from a series of dreams Sepehr had with a common atmosphere of strange characters and textures, akin to scenes from David Lynch's 'Twin Peaks'. All songs have been mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The vinyl comes housed in a jacket featuring a dark and inviting cyborg hand holding a rose designed by Nicole Ginelli.

The Lisbon boy done good has been enjoying some well earned praise for his last few releases - his '...is boss EP' on Secretsundaze, 'Girar' on Diskotopia, and 'Yeah' via yours truly. Gigs in Amsterdam, Bristol, Porto, London and Lisbon followed - including his debut on Boiler Room. For this new EP we are served 3 brand new Silvestre tracks and 2 huge remixes from one of the most respected labels in Lisbon - Príncipe! 'Todos Bem' starts as an organ led scratch-fest, with a tight auto-tune vocal from Silvestre himself, before mutating into an anthemic/hedonistic 303 acid and whistle banger! This euphoric string-laden track equally at home in Ibiza or Notting Hill Carnival! 'Paga O Que Deves' is up next; Joao's love of grime and UK bass culture is evident from the drop, twisted synths and breaks recall everyone from Eastman to Wiley. On the flip we find serious remix pressure from Silvestre's friends and contemporaries - the Lisbon crew of Príncipe! DJ Firmeza is up first, pushing the tempo way up on 'Yeah', turning it into a banging kuduro rave monster, propulsive batida drums upping the temperature. DJ Lilocox follows with an intense remix of 'Demónios Na Cabeça', converting it into a percussive trancey big-room bomb. Layers of mixed afro/gqom drums follow a strict samba-like rhythm forcing hands and possibly the ceiling higher.

House and techno focussed FINA sister label FINA WHITE comes through with more direct dance floor grooves from Bodyjack, aka Chris Finke. The veteran artist serves up two killer tracks, one dub and four locked grooves that provide serious heat for DJs and dancers.

Before now, former DMC competitor Finke has established himself with his Bodytrax label in association with the Clone.nl crew, standout mixes for Radio 1 etc and EPs on the likes of UTTU, Hypercolour and DEXT, all while being a famous former resident of titanic techno party Atomic Jam and playing the world's finest clubs for years.

Arresting opener 'Measure Twice, Cut Once' is a big, buoyant techno monster with warped acid lines and raves vocal stabs all adding fuel to the fire. The locked grooves serve up scintillating breakbeats that are hugely powerful and ripe for abuse in the club, and then 'Enfant Terrible' is a dark and eerie warehouse monster. The bass is loud, the kicks rock solid and an echoing female vocal lost in the midst of it all draws you in deeper. Closing things out, the dub versions strip things back to gritty chords and heavy, well-swung kicks that make you march.

This is high class, high functioning techno from one of the finest in the game.

Arkham Audio presents yet another delicious techno EP by renowned French electronic musician Electric Rescue alongside a solid lineup of remixers. 'Dream Warriors' follows on from Electric Rescue's recent album release on none other than John Digweed's Bedrock Records, and comes bearing more of the intoxicating rhythms that we have grown accustomed to and equally as indulging reworks by Denise Rabe, TWR72, and Arkham label head Cri Du Coeur. This record firmly establishes that his hypnotising yet adrenalizing sound is a force to be reckoned with as he unveils a relentless yet minimalistic techno sound that shows inspiration from his friend and mentor Laurent Garnier.
The rave begins with the original mix of 'Dream Warriors', which leads with an infectious beat and hazy serpentine melody that thrusts your mind into a powerful yet entrancing oblivion. Heavy percussions and lively daunting melodies set the tone for rest of the record. Cri Du Coeur's rework of introduces itself with a pommelling baseline, layers of stimulating hi-hats, and transcendental melodies that create the perfect inebriating brew. The Denise Rabe remix spices things up with a mind-numbing visceral baseline and spooky industrial sounds that echo throughout the atmosphere.
Next up is 'Einoeino' which has a playful beat that contrasts with a dark and fuzzy looping melody to create the ultimate heart-racing and thrilling experience for the listener, leaving you to imagine being chased around a haunted circus. The remix of 'Einoeino' by TWR72 delivers his signature sound that encompasses pulsing rhythms, unyielding muffled baselines, and a slightly off-beat groove that concocts the perfect smoky dancefloor track.

Mirae Arts is an independent vinyl label based in northern California with focus on experimental ambient and techno music. Inspired by travel and natural landscapes, Mirae Arts boasts a diverse catalogue of projects from artists such as Seraphim Rytm, Michiru Aoyama, and Katsunori Sawa.

Katsunori Sawa & Anthone (aka Martsman) are Bokeh, the dynamic duo behind some of the most notable releases on Berlin’s Weevil Neighbourhood. Bokeh blends together the distinctive styles of Katsunori Sawa & Anthone, who have releases on labels such as Opal Tapes, SNTS, Hidden Hawaii, and many more under their belts. This year, Bokeh has already released a 12” EP for UVB-76 and Mirae Arts is proud to announce the follow up debut LP release called Lenses Dances.

Lenses Dances comprises 8 tracks that reflect on the photograph effect called bokeh, where aperture settings of the respective camera lens create vivid patterns, almost like dancing dots. It is a dedication to the artists’ love for photography. The music is complemented by Paul Nicholson’s signature graphic designs.

homage to the classic Basic Channel dub techno sound while enlarging the spectrum of the genre to its harder edges and a softer,
house-leaning approach. As such, the record embraces different vibes and atmospheres: with their stellar melodies and dreamy
chords, “Recess” and “We Never Fight (On A Birthday Night)” share a common feeling of intensity and nostalgia, displaying a
contemporary, Bicep-like take on 90’s UK dance music, while “Subterranean Echoes” and “Cosmos Redshift 7” embrace darker
colors, where clicks and cuts meet detuned pads and shifting drum patterns drenched in a distant white noise, a perfect match for
after hour sets in dimly lit warehouses.

Berlin Techno music.The National Park of Saxon Switzerland in eastern Germany, south-east of Dresden offers endless ways to have a great hiking journey. The 93km region between Pirna and the Czech border is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Europe. More than 700 summits are available to rock climbers, while for those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, there are 400 km² of marked hiking-trails, steep treks, paths and some cycle routes through the National Park. In this area, called the Erz mountains, we found our beautiful cover stone with a typical Ore layer inside.

Alejandro Baltazar Moreno’s (Alex M) debut EP “New Culture” manages to be simultaneously haunting and childlike. The artist pulls inspiration from a multiplicity of cultural anchors- from Marxist class theory to 80’s/90’s video game soundtracks; from Situationist International to social isolation. He creates a sound outside of geographic boundaries that projects vibrations meant for a hidden observer at the edge of a dream. Alex credits artists like Paul Johnson, New Order, Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, and DJ Deeon as some of his earlier influences that helped shape his sound. Despite being from Texas, Alex constructs his own sense of identity through his productions and that is directly reflected throughout his work.

Be it at home or on the dance floor - yes, I managed to road test during these crazy times - these tracks serve goosebumps full on and set the perfect groove to a dance floor. Berlin-based Irish artist Hybrasil delivers a high-grade debut album on Radio Slave’s Rekids. Since moving to Berlin Hybrasil has been an avid buyer of records at Hardwax, going to modular workshops at the cult Schneidersladen, attending Superbooth and Berlin Atonal, Panorama Bar and Berghain, whilst releasing his big, arresting techno sounds on his own eponymous label. Alongside this he’s been spending time in the studio with Radio Slave, who played Hybrasil's ‘Hathor’ in Panorama Bar which kicked off a three-month burst of creativity that led to this album. As such, the album is very much a product of the artist's time in Berlin and was written for the Panorama Bar and Berghain sound system and all who attend its dance halls. The album takes off with the smooth rolling techno of'Hathor'; that gets you on your toes, while 'Come Back'; soon ups the ante thanks to the way Hybrasil twists and turns his synths above the rooted kick drums. 'Ceres'; then has edgy sustained chords and thunderous claps that will sound mega in a cavernous warehouse space. 'Orpeheus'; is a masterclass in economical but effective techno, with well-crafted hi hats, rolling kicks and vocal stabs all driving it forward. 'Ursa Minor'; traps the listener in unresolved loops that keep a locked groove, until 'Messier'; mixes up seriously weighty bass-drum thuds and Jeff Mills style melodic minimalism. The compelling LP completes with 'Igigi'; and 'Vela', two more astral techno rollers with celestial synths and devastating drum programming.

Following up on their debut LP Kick Drunk Love for Marcel Vogel’s Intimate Friends imprint a few years back, we are proud to present the next installment in the sporadic KAMM legacy: Cookie Policies.

Far more sonically rich and musically adventurous than its predecessor, Cookie Policies sees the band make bold strides into new territories where classically hardwired categories such as jazz, indie rock, and electronica melt into one another with immaculate, timeless ease.

The band members’ positions are more clear cut as well this round, with Marc David Barrite (aka Dave Aju, who also did one of his coveted mix engineering jobs on the LP) on prominent lead vocals in many of the pieces, Alland Byallo on trumpet, Kenneth Scott on synth bass, and Marc Smith adding guitar sections while the others shared the arranging and programming duties. This makes for a deeper continuation of the otherworldly combination of their known individual production styles, as well as a musical whole truly greater than the sum of its parts.

The set starts off with “Bird Call”, whose opening ode to Morricone ok corral-meets-samurai showdown riffs flow into a loose and drifting psychedelic boom bap blip, building until a glorious change-up of key and energy brings the track to its peak and deconstructed back down. “Rachel, the Largest Bullfrog” then takes things in a sweeter, slightly more traditionally-structured direction where dusty indie-folk ballad vibes intersect with an array of twisted cosmic tones, bits of computer keyboard percussion, and deep rolling sub bass. “Buckle Down” then moves things back away from acoustic restraints into a beautiful synth-laden musing on potential regret, with an ultra-potent horn section from Byallo vs a nasty stacked Roland SH-101 finish.

“CCBPGC” cools things off for a few minutes with an ambient field recording slice-and-dice motif, which slowly but surely evolves into a slinking jazz noir groove from another dimension. The more traditional song structures return on the lovely “La Luna”, where Barrite’s pen and soulful voice take to nautical longing themes over apropos waves of sonic textures. The ebb and flow of the verse/chorus sections eventually rise and give way to an absolutely gorgeous denouement. “Shleem” then takes us into pure unadulterated soaring sci-fi soundtrack ambient blast-off bliss, while the epic closing track “The Soft Glow of Electric Sex” gives a hearty nod to early masters of sprawling psychedelic jam sessions, from Pink Floyd and Can to In A Silent Way-era Miles and Liquid Liquid, while bringing it clearly into futurist millennia. The gradual evolution of the piece into its grand finale is the stuff we true music-lovers live and die for. We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we do.
