Luke Solomon's much-loved Classic groover 'Light You Up' gets a 12' vinyl release as well as the Louie Vega treatment on this double-sided package. The title track features the poetic talents of Queen Rose alongside disco cohort Amy Douglas and comes accompanied by the Accapella. NYC maestro Louie works his magic on the track with his boogie-inflicted mix featuring jazzy synths. A killer package ready to light up the dancefloors everywhere.

"Up next on 20/20 Vision we welcome Nathan Jonson back for his second outing on the label, and this time it's rounded off with a big remix from his brother Mathew Jonson. Business EP finds Nathan back in familiar musical territory. Serving up genre bending tracks which fuse electro, techno, house and old school rave into a melting pot of electronica which is not easy to define. 'Business' & 'Let Your Body' are unconventional, unique and original, with off kilter basslines and rave stabs reminiscent of a Luke Vibert and Carl Finlow hybrid. The release also see's the first appearance on 20/20 Vision from none other than Mathew Jonson, who turns in a killer remix of title track 'Business'. Since 2001 Mathew has constantly evolved, with a back catalogue of scene defining tracks and one of the most electric live shows in the business. It's a honour to finally have him feature on the label.

After a hiatus in 2017, City Fly Records return with a superb EP from label co-owner & serious sample digger, The Last Trip To Gandahar. With previous sell out releases on Better Listen, Kolour LTD and his sublime disco infused nugget 'R136A1' also on City Fly. Gandy's releases have gained support from the likes of Giorgio Moroder, Larry Heard and BBC Radio 6Music. The EP brings an abundance of dancefloor dynamite which includes a collaboration with the ever talented Erik Rico, who has previously worked alongside artists as diverse as Ron Trent, DJ Spinna, Q-Tip and hip hop monarch Tupac Shakur. Man of the moment Byron The Aquarius also steps up with a beautifully deep remix of 'Higher!' in a full 'body & soul' style.

Full disclosure...I changed the entire release schedule to jam this record in this year. When you listen, hopefully can see why.

From getting the demos during my breakfast, the record was agreed and in the schedule by the time I'd finished my dinner.
Currently if you cut Austin Ato I believe he'll bleed an amazing record. This record swings between a peak-time hands in the air pink loveheart vibe, hot and heavy classic sample based house, and some real basement orientated machine-made jacking house.
Its like a quadruple A Side release, and I personally find it impossible to pick a favourite on here.

The first chapter of Armand Jakobsson's musical career has been
nothing short of remarkable. After establishing himself with rough
but emotive house as Rimbaudian and jungle as Birds of Sweden,
he unveiled his DJ Seinfeld alias to the world, first with underground hit single 'U', then with his Time Spent Away From U album on Lobster Fury in November 2017. It was a post break-up love letter to the dance floor with heart-on-sleeve emotions colouring the dusty and analogue house grooves. Acclaim came in from far and wide, with everyone from Rolling Stone to Pitchfork fawning over its heart swelling nostalgia and melancholic immediacy. Jakobsson approached his DJ-Kicks with the intention of representing all the things that made him fall in love with dance music more than a decade ago, as well as showing some of the progression that has occurred in that time and 'reflecting the simultaneous fear of leaving something safe behind as well as the excitement of venturing into unknown territories, musically and emotionally.' In order to make it as personal as possible, he called upon the many talented people around him making music. They returned with an enthusiasm that reminded Jakobsson of his own early passion, and in turn invigorated him and the whole process of assembling the mix. It was finally recorded at Inkonst club in Malmo because, recently back from years in Barcelona, he has not yet set up a studio in his hometown. DJ Seinfeld's DJ-Kicks is not only a testament of his characterful DJ skills, but also a complete artistic statement that showcases his unique vision of dance music

Monrella aka Mick Harris, the man that invented the blast beat and one of the most crucial members of the seminal band Napalm Death. He experimented with a lot of styles of music afterwards (notably, Scorn, Lull and Fret) but back 1996 he took the template of Detroit techno, added some Birmingham grit and Monrella was born. Proper Birmingham motor funk straight from the House Of God (seminal Birmingham club night) school of debauchery. Remastered and ready to continue its journey, slaying dancefloors.

Best Effort Records jumps out of the box with their inaugural release 'Number One' - a selection of tracks that celebrate friends making music together.Cold Emotion are Danny Wild and Rory Stenning. The duo explore improvised club music using various keyboards and modular synthesisers. 'Toast' is a track taken from an extensive live recording session from 2015. Accidental CV messages create unexpected cyclic baseline patterns while keyboard melodies float freely above jacking modular beats. The result is an imperfect, inspired club jam ready for any occasion. "Cantao" pitches things down from the hypnotic frenzy of "Toast" to offer a unique hybrid between computerized dub, subaquatic g-funk and triphop ambiance. Canadian Content!
"Manipulate Me" is a collaboration between Ivy Barkakati and Phran. The stark, alienated quality of Ivy's spoken vocals & dark subject matter sounds even more claustrophobic and sinister backed up by the duo's frigid machine-funk, which is more in the spirit austere & icy 80s coldwave than modern house music.
Metric Systems are a duo from somewhere in Australia. The fathoms-deep "Adaptation Dub', recored in 2009, is reminiscent of Australia's after-hour dub technicians Sheriff Lindo or Andy Rantzen. Look out for a full LP later in the year.

Malta native Dean Demanuele has always made tech-house with a swagger, but even his own lofty standards, his latest release is a joy to behold. Full of tension from the get-go, the Grey Game EP - released on Dean's always excellent Dazed and Confused label - confirms his reputation as his country's leading exporter of all things dancefloor driven.

Leading the way is the title track. A catchy techno jam that conjures up images of 5,000 people strong warehouse raves, this one is littered with vibes from the off. A real fist-bumper, it's the sort of track that's sure to prompt absolute pandemonium when dropped at the right moment. Stuffed with zippy synths and clever clicks, it's a deceptively simple piece of music that's sure to raise eyebrows and hands alike.

Although it starts off with seemingly modest ambitions, the other track ' Seeds', quickly unravels into a whole new different beats altogether. A banging track with peak-time flavours galore, it's notable for its gnarling acid lines and a killer baseline that's deserving of an especially large soundsystem. 'Grey Game' isn't the most subtle of tracks - but that's not the point here. If you're looking for something to absolutely desiccate the dancefloor this weather, consider yourself served here. Demanuele has been on a rich vein of form for some time now, and his latest compounds the fact.

Two of Russian electronic music's rising stars, Phil Gerus and Alexander Lay-Far, invite you to join them at the Solitary High Social Club. While table service is provided, they'd much rather you throw caution to the wind and head to the dancefoor.
Before joining forces in the studio, both Moscow-based musicians have delivered a string of memorable solo productions. Lay-Far has previously released a wealth of material on such labels as Local Talk, City Fly, Lazy Days and 4Lux Black, while synthesizer fetishist Gerus has showcased his electrofunk and disco-fred cuts on Futureboogie Recordings, Sonar Kollektiv, Public Release
and Superior Elevation Records.
The fve tracks that make up Solitary High Social Club deliver a perfect marriage of the two producers' distinctive solo styles, combining the rich musicality of Lay-Far's house productions with the spacey, intergalactic electronics of Gerus's discoid adventures. In many ways, it's a marriage made in heaven - or in Lay-Far's celebrated In-Beat-Ween Studio, at least.
The duo's spacey and melodious musical fusion is arguably best exemplifed by lead cut City 2 City, Star 2 Star', a widescreen, mid-tempo disco epic rich in tactile Rhodes riffs, supernova synth solos, delay-laden drum beats, tumbling melody lines and heavy analogue bass. Fittingly, the track returns in Reprise' form - think sweeping, weightless ambient bliss - to round off the EP.
Elsewhere, the duo provides further proof of their combined musical talents.
Check, for example, the gentle drum machine electro beats, cascading new age melodies and sparkling, stretched-out synthesizer chords of the impeccably beautiful Am I Tripping', or the devilishly percussive, mind-altering brilliance of Love Life', where mutant electro bass, wide-eyed chords and alien melodies rise above a heavy, Afro-infuenced groove. As for Snowfakes On Her Lips', you'll struggle to fnd a more confdent and positive dancefoor workout all year. Blessed with killer piano parts, darting analogue synth-bass and a range of disco-tinged musical fourishes, it's by far and away the most celebratory moment on an already happy-go-lucky EP. It confrms, too, our initial hunch: at the Solitary High Social Club, life is always good.

From the emotive opener to last year's anthemic 'Fall In Love, Not In Line' closer, Home represents the fluid but refined garden of sound that's grown from Dubtribe's rich 90's foundation.

The artwork on this splendidly presented gatefold LP is a photograph of Sunshine performing live at the Garden Party in San Francisco by The Holy Mountain, the collage is done by Sunshine and the design is by Fernando_Graphicos. Accompanied by detailed track notes, with all equipment used to make the record alongside sonic schematic. Man and machine aligned for total transcendence !

Digital Traffik is back with its third release of 2016. This last vinyl of this year is completing the serie dedicated of the "10 years label birthday " celebration. Also on this Ep four new artists are on board : Marco Effe, Alexandar Ivkovic, Neverdogs and CLiVe. 'Weird Tales' is the Marco Effe track, an incredible artist of Digital Traffik family and founder of his own "Impress" party on Watergate Berlin. Kick and bass lines are big, the melodies are infectious and techno just keeps on giving... simply amazing! Alexandar Ivkovic presents 'NBDG' : in this track merge is signature techno-detroit sound into something that still contains stacks of class and character. Neverdogs directly from Music On World Tour returns in Digital Traffik family after two years. Throughout their track "State Of Blind" there is a sense of tension that is created through the eerie pads and synths combining to create different rhythms to keep the listener on their toes. "Mambo Cafè" is the last track of this vinyl and is composed by the A&R of Digital Traffik : CLiVe. This song is an amazing train without stop... You know when the dj drops something so special you're mentally forced to ask for the track and the reply you get is 'its my own unreleased track'. That's how I (Art Alfie) stumbled upon all three of these. About ten years ago I witnessed Van Rivers & The Subliminal Kid (Peder Mannerfelt) turn Berghain upside-down with the dark techno epos 'Mars Attacks'. Around the same time I had the luck to see Nils Westerlund boogle minds with the broken beat psychedelics of 'Suspiria' at a Stockholm Open Air. Last but not least, a couple of years ago I heard 'Thicker Than Blood' for the first time, like the Sirens in greek mythology, it lured people on to the dance floor at Stockholms classic summer hot spot F12. I've been playing these tracks ever since and Im beyond happy I get to share them with the world at this point. //Art Alfie

House of Disco return with a pair of funk fuelled cuts from Aroop Roy with Japan's Brisa contributing a deep and percussive remix. Based in London, Aroop Roy's take on electronic music involves blending elements of jazz, Afro, Latin and funk with disco and house. Roy's releases have landed on Freestyle, Gamm and Basic Fingers, and most recently on the hugely successful Kampana Classics EP.

His multi-genre spanning influences can be attributed to his wealthy experience playing around the globe, including previous residencies in London, Geneva and Tokyo.
Renowned taste makers Gilles Peterson, Francois K, Karizma and Rainer Trueby are only a few names from a swelling list of supporters and their seal of approval is a clear
testament to his studio abilities.

'Talkin Bout Life' demonstrates Roy in fine form as it subtly builds into an essential party anthem. Jazzy keys, a soulful guitar lick and a dusty breakbeat are brought together by a warm and punchy low end to form an irresistible groove. This sets the scene for a breakdown of epic proportions, with raw vocals looping hypnotically to a huge climax.

'We Together' shows Roy's deeper side, pairing chunky, overdriven percussion with subterranean chords, whilst an infectious vocal operates on top. A warm analogue synth ups the ante with an extra portion of funk.

Hailing from Fukuoka, Brisa concludes the package by completely reimagining 'Talkin Bout Life'. Rumbling drums, twisted bass and otherworldly stabs together forge a jazzy remix with an abundance of character and originality.

Sol Power Sound adds a fifth release to its catalog with ' Rising Tides,' a blazing EP from London producer, Aroop Roy.
Aroop has delivered a string of hit records on Gamm, Basic Fingers, House of Disco, and Kampana , and is a welcome addition to the growing Sol Power Sound family.
On 'Rising Tides', he offers two stunning visions of global house music which have already received outstanding feedback.
The EP begins with 'Tembandumba (Vocal Mix)' -- an epic (and fully licensed) dance floor interpretation of a Totó la Momposina classic. This journey of shifting rhythms, evolving filters, layered synths, and kinetic percussion arrives at a powerful climax that will set any dark room on fire. The club mix is slightly shorter and cuts to the chase more quickly.
'Abale' features Malawian vocalist Gasper Nali
(and is a reproduction of his tune 'Abale Ndikuwuzeni,' from 2015). Aroop's synth soundscape starts dissonant, dark, and tense butopens up into pure analog bliss. A perfect selection as the early morning sun peeks over the horizon.

Dauwd returns to Technicolour with 'Theory of Colours - Versions' EP. A new 4-tracker EP containing remixes/reworks of various singles from his debut album. The EP opens with a piano rework of 'Analogische Memories', recoded at his studio in Berlin and the result of countless hours work - 'it took some time, as I had to learn to play piano' Dauwd explains. Dauwd also makes up one third of the Berlin collective, party and radio show, African Acid Is The Future having previously released on Kompakt and Ghostly International. Ukrainian music producer and Leleka label boss Vakula provides a remix of 'Macadam Therapy'. Fresh from the release of his well received LP 'Metaphors' and following on from last years 'Techno Game' released via Arma and 'Cyclicality Between Procyon And Gomeisa' released via Dekmantel in 2016. deep house beyond the clichés, charged with bewitching melodies and a heartiness that has the power to stay for good.

Anyone who's followed Maurice Aymard's Galaktika label over the years will be all too aware of the imprint's leaning toward eclectic sounds. It's an ethos that mirrored in the work of Aymard himself and regardless of whether he's turning his hand to tech house sounds or more straight-up techno jams, his is a way of working that's endeared him to many over the years. His latest is a case in point. The 75th chapter in the Galaktika discography, the Into the Night EP serves up an array of sounds that are enticing as they are upbeat and intriguing.

Getting us underway is the sounds of the title track. An unfurling beast of a track that's loaded with dramatic tension throughout, it's an eerie cut that's characterised by its clever bells and some incessant percussion. A full on track that's not to be handled lightly, it's repetitive nature and sporadic vocal charms is indicative of Levon Vincent at his best.

'Shinning', a more progressive cut, follows after. Another track that's notable for the suspense that lingers throughout, it serves up a nice stylistic alternative to what's arrived before. Aymard then goes all out on the frankly astounding sounds of 'Rage'. A propulsive gem of the type that sees the producer greatly rewarded for trying something that bit different, it's a special sort of track that takes on various tones throughout but always stays captivating. Seeing us out soon after is Eduardo de la Calle's remix of the latter. The Cadenza man is well versed in all things deep and dextrous, and his interpretation serves up a fitting example of his talents. Although it starts on a melodic tip, it too soon brings the listener on a thoroughly captivating but unexpected journey. Much like the rest of this EP, De la Calle's remix is full of surprises from the off.

Klas Henrik Lindblad better known as Sasse or Freestyle Man has been a friend of our label for many years and also released together with Dorian for our Raum Musik Compilation in 2005. Soul Sounds without any doubt still is one of his absolute masterpieces and he was never willing to do anything with it and just let it rest in peace until the idea came up to re release it for our label. Usually we are not licensing or re releasing anything but Sasse and especially this track of him definitely deserve it. As it is also our 20 years anniversary we got one of our key artists on board that has been playing the track again a lot recently and that also immediately liked the idea of remixing this track and this is the result now. We are happy to present you the original track of Sasse plus two remixes by our dear friend Ricardo Villalobos and label head Dorian Paic together. Enjoy !

The second part of the Seltron 400 trilogy on MOST, Trans i Bas, sees the group re-embark on their singular journey in search of the essence of the rave. Since the first EP in the series - Zabawa Trwa - came out last year, they have augmented their back-to-back dj sets with a full-on live show, which again fed back into their recording process.

The record's title cut, Trans i Bas (also available in an earth-shaking drum version) is as uplifting as it is spontaneous, complete with trance-infused pads and heavy, tripping bass. Jest Nadzieja brings a little swing and a mental breakdown, while Oo is all crunched riffs and one-finger-string-solo glory. Nuff said.

Flight 770 is an EP about global moods and inspirations, made around a trip to Georgia, where Thee J Johanz played at a festival with his friends from Goa. The title track combines old school gfunk grooves with techno sounds and dreamy leads from the rare Korg 770, while the boutique Russian Mad 5 drumsynth is spanking your ass with vibrant claps. Night of the bodySNADchers started as a project for the Goan Gandu label by Snad and Iggy the Bastard. It's inspired by the trippy vibe of the endless (after)parties at Cirrus, near Chapora. Thunder Over Tbilisi expresses the pressure you feel in Georgia, specially after what recently happened to club life in Tbilisi. Coming back to Holland Thee J Johanz played at the Island of Terschelling and refound himself looking at the stars. Small dots in a seemingly infinite universe. But also massive electrifying diamonds.

South London label and party series Troy Town is proud to present the first release in 3 years from Warren Brown aka Wbeeza, insanely talented South London producer and 1st generation pioneer of what has become affectionately known in dance music as the 'Peckham Sound'. DJs, producers and musicians such as Henry Wu, Bradley Zero and Chaos in the CBD have added to the wealth of a deeply musical community but it was the likes of Brown and another SE15 local, El-Prevost, who first put the area on the dance music map.

Although he's resistant to using the word House too often about his music, the swing nods to Detroit and Chicago while the links to friends and collaborators, Delano Smith, Mike 'Agent X' Clark and Scott Grooves are clear. Progressing through a musical heritage that has seen him produce across grime, hip-hop, drum n bass and techno but it's his signature low slung, heavy-on-groove and atmosphere productions that have garnered the respect of peers and critics whilst his popular and energetic live sets have seen him tour extensively around the world for the past 8 years.

This 3-track EP covers a variety of moods and situations. Opening with The OD, a heady march to peak time on the dancefloor which has featured heavily in live sets over the last 2 years. The bassline bubbles tantalisingly as it edges through a kinetic, digital riff that sticks with you long after the lights go up.

Grove Park is so low slung that the snare sounds like it might fall out of sync at any moment while the lead synth leads you on a drunk walk home, at times holding it's line before stumbling over a pitch bend and veering to find its balance.
Bizzle Boogie is equal parts gritty, Midwest-influenced bounce track and shimmering eyes closed rave moments.

Shir Khan welcomes Zoo Brazil to his infamous Black Jukebox disco house series. Lately, the swedish producer released tracks on Hot Since 82's Knee Deep In Sound, Nic Fanciullis Saved Records and with more music to come on Sasha's Last Night On Earth and Joris Voorn's Green Label.

Catz 'N Dogz are some of our oldest extended Dirtybird Family, spanning multiple EPs, a couple albums, some remixes, and we even presented their very first release as 'Catz N Dogz' as they transitioned from their old 3 Channels alias in 2007. It's been over 4 years since they've been on the label, and we're ecstatic to have them back with "The Feelings Factory"."Fine Feelings" features the legendary vocalist Robert Owens, and sounds like a classic deep house track from the late 90's when no one called it deep house, they just danced to it all night in warehouses.
"Factory Settings" includes additional production from London's Joseph Ashworth, and from the first note to the last its filled with driving intensity and an ascending cacophony of rhythms and voices. welcome back fellas, we missed you.
