Bicep line up a landmark 12' on Feel My Bicep as they follow up a series of self-released originals, remixes and collaborations with their first signing to the imprint. An exciting discovery from a small student town, Dunedin in New Zealand - Tomas Krammer and Eden Burns a.k.a Sandboards.
The young duo present their 'Visa' EP, a balmy and energetic 3-tracker that comes inclusive of a remix from London producer and previous FMB mix contributor Shinra. 80's-tinged synth lines, crisp drums and stirring melodicism colour a release that both slots in and adds facets to the Feel My Bicep, as the Irish duo continue in their vein of their blog in providing a platform for auspicious producers and DJs to rise.

A bumping, carnivalesque, cosmic excursion, warmly analogue and swinging, featuring the return of DJ Sotofett to Honest Jons; then a kind of breather; and finally fifteen rounds of ecstatic, ruthless, spangled minimalism, looking straight into the eyeballs of Tippu Tip, and back out.
'Garland yourself in all the green there is — ivy green, olive green, fennel green, growing green, yearning green, wet sap green, new grape green, green of youth and green of branches, green of mint and green of marsh grass, green of tea leaves, oak and pine, green of washed needles and early rain, green of weeds and green of oceans, green of bottles, ferns and apples, green of dawn-soaked dew and slender green of roots, green fresh out of pools, green slipped under fools, green of the green fuse, green of the honeyed muse, green of the rough caress of ritual, green undaunted by reason or delirium, green of jealous joy, green of the secret holy violence of the thyrsos, green of the sacred iridescence of the dance...'

Daniel Meuzard aka Feater originally hails from a small mountain village in the Western Austrian Alps. The music producer with North African roots calls Vienna his home for quite some time now. For more than ten years he has been involved in electronic music and working with analog synthesizers and classic tape recording. As an owner of a studio equipment shop he was able to get his hands on a wide variety of equipment. Experimenting with different instruments and recording techniques helped him to develop his own musical ideas. In 2013 he released the 7" vinyl single "Digital Love" on "Paradeis Garage". In February 2015 he recorded his debut album "Waste The Time" on a 8track tape recorder and finalized it together with the producer and recording engineer Sam Irl in the summer of 2015. As a member of the FinishGermanAustrian group "Skymax" (along with StilettiAna & Sam Irl) he released the vinyl EP "Trucker Trans" on his own label called "International Major Label" in October 2015. Remixes by Tuff City Kids and Gerd Janson will follow.

Byron Bay (Australia) based label, Keepers of the Wild (KOTW) (sub label of Wildlife Recordings), launches it's debut release with Ecuador-born, New York City resident, Groove Selecta (Alan Arbelaez) and presents us with four early rave inspired jams filled to the brim with historical artefacts, creating a carefree deluge into head nod territory. 'Midnight Sounds' utilizes break beat percussions to imbue a feeling of nostalgic warmth throughout. In respecting the past it rattles the future with Selecta's original slant keeping it relevant and fresh for today's ears. A solid follow up 12" release includes remixes from Kloke, Legowelt, Vinalog and Pablo Mateo and will shortly follow and sets the label up with a string of releases planned for 2016.

Finally, KANN Headquarter duo Sevensol & Bender bring out a new EP. Both tracks unite the labels perception of contemporary and personal dance music. Again, they perform with a dreamy and harmonic sense for rhythm and express what house music means to them. If you understand the record as a pretentious instruction of 'how not to lose things', you have to find out yourself. KANN firmly believes.

The spirit of the album was born during their first trip to Tallahassee. Florida to meet George Clinton, which resulted in a collaborative 2015 EP that also featured Sly Stone, as well as production on Funkadelic's 2015
critically acclaimed album. For their own album Soul Clap returned to Tallahassee to record at Clinton's What Studios, collaborating with fresh local talent, working day and night in P-Funk's creative space. Between there, Miami, Red Bull Studios Manhattan, Midnight Magic's studio in Greenpoint and Charlie Levine's Rad Pad in Williamsburg, this body of
music took shape. In 'Soul Clap' we can hear four years of maturing technique since their
first album, carefully crafted and supported by a whole community of musical talent. In the words of Charles Levine, one half of the duo, it digs deep into our funky souls and turns our wildest dreams into sound. If 'EFUNK' (their first album) was an attempt to create a blueprint using our past inspirations, then Soul Clap' is the beautiful skyscraper, standing tall as it looks to the future.'
This is music from an eclectic universe, where creativity and mystery are the guides. Lead single 'Shine' is an anthemic wonder featuring the legendary Nona Hendryx, founding member of the group Labelle, and collaborator with George Clinton & P-Funk, Talking Heads and Peter Gabriel to name a few. 'Elevation' and 'Numb' feature Tallahassee locals Ebony Houston, Ricky Tan, Dayonne Rollins and Freeky Neek, while
original member of Funkadelic, Billy Bass' Nelson brings his low-slung flavor to 'Funk Bomb' and 'Future4Love'. Members of Soul Clap's core Crew Love family, Wolf + Lamb, Nick Monaco and Greg Paulus of No Regular Play also play integral roles on this eleven track album, a truly collaborative endeavor that echoes its message through the soul. Eli Goldstein and Charles Levine have a rare and insightful take on electronic music that breaks through the limitations that often cages others and as DJs they have held residencies everywhere from Circo Loco at
DC10 Ibiza, to Output in New York. Long ago our mentor Caril Mitro from Vinyl Connection (a record store in their hometown of Boston) taught us that House wears many hats'. That means that the music that we love so much comes in many shapes and sizes,' explains Goldstein. 'We are children of the 80's and 90's so funk and hip hop were our early influences, but discovering the rave and being led into house and disco, these genres feel very organic and homegrown to us. We carry these
influences in our attitudes and beings. Music has the incredible power to shape a personality and it has molded us into the artists we have become.'
Starting out cutting their teeth in the 90's Boston rave scene, they soon found fame through a series of house edits and became household names through notable releases, including a DJ Kicks alongside close allies Wolf + Lamb and their electric first album called EFUNK. The title, which stands for Everybody's Freaky Under Nature's Kingdom, and sounds like modern electronic funk, became their calling card, and led to their collaboration with George Clinton and honorary entry into the P-Funk family. EFUNK is a bridge between the discerning futurism of underground
dance and the charisma and boldness of funk and pop culture. For Charlie funk is his foundation, for Eli it's jazz, and as their infamous Yoyoyo 90's Jam parties testified (playing only classics from the era), they have the ability to transform and lead in more than one movement. Back in the day at the Warehouse in Chicago with Frankie Knuckles or The
Paradise Garage with Larry Levan there was no one sound that dominated musically. It was all about diversity and eclecticism. This was the ethos then and it is a very large philosophy behind us individually and as Soul Clap. In fact it is diversity in sound that initially brought us together back in the 90's and it is the yin-yang nature of us today that pushes us forward into the
FUTURE!'

Melodymathics chalk up their 5th in the form of a limited edition double pack vinyl and boy is it special. A pack featuring Detroits own Terrence Parker alongside label head Melodymann and No Shit Like Deep finishing things off. An on point package of four classy house cuts where each one plays its part, add to that a couple of locked grooves and you have a must have record.
Terrence Parker needs no introduction having been killing it for so many years and he has lost none of his fire over that time - he brings his A-game for the label. As a purveyor of groove-ridden infectious piano burners like only he can do his track Heart break shows hes still top of the game. Rolling piano riffs and power house beats steer the course of this TP journey.
Label boss and accomplished producer in his own right Melodymann provides 2 tracks for the EP, his first delivers a deep sophisticated late night houser, fit for deeper crowds and early morning shakedowns equally. A fitting change of pace from the opener that stands up nicely alongside TPs pumper. Melodymann picks up the pace just a touch on the 2nd vinyl with What are you Gonna. With its Skippy hats and square bass line it has the trademarks of a classic groover that reworks a recognisable vocal snip into something completely novel.
Boys from Gent, No Shit Like Deep close up with their sample laced Ambassador of Love. A raw talent for sampling and bringing new blood into old meat is on full display here, No Shit Like Deep finish the ep with a fun, party ready track.
The label are also running a remix competition alongside the release of this ep, with the chance to remix TPs house burner. Keep an eye out on Beatport for details as an opportunity like this doesnt come around too often.

"Cool deep rhythms with a bit of a vintage twist. Nice one boys!"
Let us introduce the first YULA KASP ep produced by PILOOSKI and remixed by REBOLLEDO & PILOOSKI.
Yula Kasp is our « enfant sauvage », raised by wolves into a wolf.
A slav pup in Poland, under the dregs of the communist regime. A teen wolf in Toronto, daughter of immigrants, eating up America through Rock n'Roll rebellion. And a nearly grown Canis Lupus in Paris where she starts going out where the fellow wolves go: Le Pulp, Le Batofar.... The wolf is a social animal, but Yula also makes music alone, on the cheap, in her bedroom.
Her first project would be an homage to her grand-mother, Wanda Trampczynska, solely made up of cut-ups of her words.
One of leader of her pack that slowly emerges here is Matias Aguayo from Comeme records, for whom she starts making videos (another thing she learned alone). Everybody will remember Rebolledo's Guerrero video (werewolf), or other works for Philip Gorbachev or Sano.
Matias is drumming on two of the tracks of this ep, CONSCIOUS and SENSITIVE PLANT.
After the early pick up of the LEISURE by Mauricio Rebolledo for the A VERY NICE COMBINADO compilation of the Pachanga Boys, Pilooski seemed an obvious choice to produce the infused psychedelia of this mini album, a strange mixture of eighties wave tape music, folkish electronic voodoo, dubbed-up disco, her own mental poetry and extracts from Shelley or W.H Davies.
This is a world you need to enter with your eyes closed, visions will come by themselves.

Dutch producer Frits Wentink continues to flourish in the follow up to his debut LP Rarely Pure Never Simple that was released on WOLF Music back in March this year.
Throughout releases on Heist and Wolf, Frits has consistently drawn for his arsenal of synths, effects and drum machines and through doing so has stitched a sound characterised by raw drums, analogue bass tones and odd, lo-fi samples.
Whilst maintaining ties with the aforementioned labels, Frits has also recently created his own platform in Bobby Donny - a space for him and his friends to experiment that has so far seen records from himself and San2.
Now - the follow up to San2's Impartial Perspective EP Frits lines up the 3rd release on Bobby Donny - Horses In Cornfield: a naturally sequenced, 4-track EP brimming with gently wobbling piano samples, tightly swung drums and thick, brazen bass lines.
The title track kicks things off with crispy claps and thrumming tape textures before wild blobs of filter synth tones and sparse piano chords come into play.
Girls in Matching Bathing Suits' then sits an unusual croon over driven, long-tailed kick drums before Man At Parade drives a tight, irresistible groove through a sweet, circling piano sample and more playful synth work.
Bouquet At Rest then sets more scuzzy drums plodding through a 2-note piano riff and free-flowing effects control that caps off another fine addition to the Bobby Donny series and another stellar 12" from Frits Wentink.

Still riding high on the warm praises for his excellent, 'The Musical Stylings of...' EP on NDATL, Javonntte is welcomed with open arms into the Sistrum family. Bringing some chunk and a bit of funk, the 'Mind Over Matter EP' is a raw expression of Detroit house music at its finest. As always, enjoy...
A1 - Theme From Javonntte
As the name suggests, this cut sets the tone for the EP - raw, chunky, deep and dripping with soul. Traditional house music vibes are on display with a punchy kick leading the way into a bass heavy groove, punctuated by key stabs and classic vocal snippets. A vintage modern chugger for the dancers out there.
A2 - Jazzmatazz
Javonntte has his way with funky jazz samples and brings forth an absolutely proper rendition in the sample house tradition. Piano riffs are sliced and diced to perfection, backed by a walking jazz bassline and understated drum rhythms. Raw - in all the best ways.

The second sampler from King Street celebrating the work of the mighty Kerri Chandler. Kerri's career in dance music stretches way back to the late 80's and he has remained at the top of his game throughout, thus rightfully earning him the title of - House Legend!
As with the sampler before, the King Street vaults have been raided for only the highest quality cuts from his extensive back catalog. Kicking off the EP is his all-time classic, monster, dance-floor wrecking "Bar A Thym", A real deep House masterpiece that should need no introduction and the perfect way to start things off. Over on the flip we are treated to "Welcome To King Street" a deep, immense spoken word love letter to the dancers delivered in true "Kaos 6:23" fashion! The Micronaut creates the soundtrack for those moments when the screeching of the subway and the steps on the wet pavement have echoed away into the dark city sky. Those moments when the ghosts of fumes and stop lights haunt the empty streets, when behind glowing windows dreams and urban exit strategies get ready for bed. When everybody is close to each other, but everyone is on his own. When the city comes to a standstill, but the wheels inside the heads of its inhabitants keep spinning. Stefan Streck discovers the musical equivalent for this epic atmosphere somewhere between Bass Music, Electronica and Pop. The cinematic soundscapes of his nocturnal City Blues have a somewhat tragic vibe, which is very noticeable both during the impulsive, passionate live shows of The Micronaut and on 'Forms', his third studio album on Acker Records, distributed through Kompakt. Between moments of deep melancholy and sudden eruptions of blissful euphoria he creates a feverish state of tension.

City Fly are very pleased to announce the upcoming release of their 13th record, and it's a very special one indeed.
The Leicester imprint has always been a champion of quality house music both local and worldwide, but this latest wax features the talent of the home team with a track from each of the City Fly crew. The collection hones in on City Fly's trademark sound of deep, authentic house music with no compromise.
The EP open's with recent Future Society by Seven Davis Jr signing Jonna & Samwell with their debut collaboration Henry Western featuring the unstoppable Lady Blacktronika.
It's a heads down, no nonsense affair with moody chords underpinning mournful vocals that just ooze soul. Next up is the smooth, loopy disco of Last Trip to Gandahar's R136a1 which is a classic cut that even Soundstream himself would be proud of.
From here we move on to 'Without You' by Darran P, which balances silky Rhodes chords and melancholic vocals.
Bringing the EP to a close is J'Shez's killer remix of 'Holloway' by Flori. The original surfaced on City Fly 003 and this reinterpretation is a pure pumper from start to finish.

Its been a big year for Breach, a.k.a. Ben Westbeech. His track Jack hasnt just blown up on dance#oors across the globe: its laid waste to them. In the process, Jack got to Number 9 in the UK charts. Not bad considering Westbeech has always seen Breach as an underground thing. Its been wonderful having a record that's commercially successful, he says. The thing is not to lose sight of why you started making music in the #rst place. I wasnt trying to get in the Top Ten. I just care about making deep records that I get off on.
Take Breachs DJ Kicks mix, for example. If all you know about Breach is Jack, youre in for a surprise. Likewise, if youre familiar with Westbeech as a vocalist you might have to have a bit of a reappraisal. This is the music that I love, the kind of thing that I play when I DJ, explains Westbeech. I made Jack and I play it, but theres a lot more to the music I love than that.
The mix opens with the spooked atmospherics of Prince Of The Immortal Woods by Innercity, before shifting into the soft, rounded bassline and euphoric strings of Triangle Vision by Wire People and the 4AM jacking house groove that is Beesmunt Soundsystems All Day. It Is What It Is by Fred P is an important point in the set. The echoes of Detroit techno sum up where Westbeechs head is at right now. Other highlights include Attention Seeker by Iron Galaxy and Hows The Music by Winx, better know as Josh Wink.
Westbeechs exclusive track is Beroving, which means deprivation in Dutch. Its a beautiful, evocative sound from the interface of house and techno, a world away from Jack, but every bit as good. Since Jacks blown, Ive been gigging so much, just on the road all the time. My life is missing sleep. Im deprived of making music and being in the studio. I put this mix together and did the track in such a short space of time.
Im deprived of time at the moment so it seemed like a #tting word.

'With a career stretching across two decades, Tosca have a history to fall back on. Remarkably, though, the Viennese duo are busy producing some of the most remarkable, groundbreaking music of their career to date.' - CLASH (Dec 2014)
Released late last year Tosca's 'Outta Here' saw the duo of Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Hubert rip up the rule book and start again. Having spent two decades and seven albums practically defining downtempo, chill-out music here was an album with one thing on its mind, the dancefloor.
Still some traditions are worth maintaining and so like with each of their previous albums the band now present 'Shopska', a reworked version of 'Outta Here' that puts each of the albums tracks into a radically new perspective from tough 3am Techno and bouncy Electronica through to spaced out Dub and beyond.

Limited 7" release of Axel Boman's Fantastic Piano (taken from the upcoming album Family Vacation) with an exclusive Dungeon Acid remix on the b-side! Axel Boman broke through in 2010 with his Holy Love EP, released on DJ Koze's Pampa Records. The track Purple Drank became an instant classic in underground house music circles - since then, Boman has toured extensively while releasing original productions and remixes on labels like DFA, Hypercolour, Kompakt, Permanent Vacation and Ovum, as well as on Studio Barnhus, the label he runs together with Kornél Kovács and Petter Nordkvist. Family Vacation, Boman's debut album, arrives on Studio Barnhus on November 11 2013. 'I decided to go through the vast collection of ideas and sketches I had on my computer, as a final project before I set that machine on fire and let it all go up in flames. Kind of like what Lee 'Scratch' Perry did with The Black Ark in Kingston in the 70's. A friend says the album sounds like 'weird Jamaican space disco' so maybe it's a fitting reference', says Boman himself. Axel Boman's music has also been described as 'raw and playful house music drenched in oceans of soul". He graduated with a master's degree from Valand School of Fine Arts in 2010 and currently lives in the calm and peaceful Stockholm suburb Gröndal

New sounds from an old friend... I'd been running Franklin De Costa's records for years, but after I played for his party in Berlin a few years back we kept in touch. He runs a club night called Mother's Finest which puts on artists like Tessela, Truss, Untold, DJ Fett Burger and more, as well as releasing singles under his own name on labels like Killekill and Curle, and, as Mudkid, beautiful tracks on Greta Cottage Workshop. The three trax built for this EP on Not So Much are, like anything fresh and futuristic, hard to pin down in words. SSSooo is a kind of detuned chattering b-boy cut that slides sideways between dimensions while always driving forward. MLDK is another one for any dancers with moves. It's tension-heavy, dubby basement shit with an almost spoken/sung synth line providing the dread and at the same time, a sense of class. Both MDLK and SSSooo have a playful side too, a knowing kind of sultriness, if that makes sense -
but the rhythms are tight and efficient. Purple Train on the other hand is loose as anything, and ramps up the narcotic sexiness in a groove for afterhours sessions. I don't want to describe it as sex, drugs and rollers, but this is kind of writing itself. With this one, the dub is wise, the time is forgotten and the wrongness is righteous. FDC is the second outside artist (after Samuel/Ploy) to release on the label, and I'm really happy that the family is finally growing - all the waiting and all the declined demos have paid off. There are more releases from more artists in the pipeline, some you'll have heard of, and some fresh blood too.
Thanks for reading and listening! Mosca

Packed full of cinematic textures, plaintive vocals and dusty house grooves, The Last Raw Era is the stunning debut album from Hollis Parker: a vinyl-only love-letter to New York City that harks back to bygone days of US house music. House music albums can be tricky to pull off. More often than not they are little more than a hastily thrown-together collection of club tracks, lacking the cohesion or narrative themes that mark a truly timeless body of work. Hollis Parker's debut is one of the few of recent memory that bucks this trend, applying a hip-hop production aesthetic to an album with house music at its core, creating an immersive listening experience over the course of 10 deeply emotive tracks. The Last Raw Era is themed around two distinct love stories: that evolving relationship between two fictional characters, and the entirely real emotion Hollis wears on his sleeve about New York, calling it the foundation upon which I'm built. A hazy melancholy informs much of the album's tone, with obscure samples dusted off and given a new lease of life in songs that evoke the languid production of Moomin as much as the raw house cuts of the early US masters.Crafted in the old-school style, Hollis took a turntable, a couple of samplers and a stack of vinyl records and got to work, creating a musical tapestry from instrumental samples, snatches of movie dialogue and heartfelt vocals. The result is both familiar and absolutely unique, with Hollis looking to the past to produce something refreshingly free of clichéd house tropes. This album is basically a culmination of everything I've done musically up until now says Hollis from the techniques and musicianship I learned to the equipment I figured out how to use, the different genres I've created: it all comes together on this album. It's a love story that's also about a city, specifically a city that I got to know before the internet and social media, back in the 90s, or what I like to call the last raw era. From the simultaneously heart-breaking and uplifting 4/4 bounce of What You've Done to the dreamlike drifting of Central Park Love, The Last Raw Era contains individual tracks that are without question some of the most beautiful of the year. But this is an album that needs to be listened to in its entirety to be fully appreciated: a timeless gem with the
power to take you to another place.

NYC's legendary SAM Records dropped the mysteriously named K.I.D.'s "Don't Stop" in 1981. It has it all - Trancey arpeggios, Vocoders & vocals trading off with each other, Brass & some heavyweight Disco drums that helped propel it forth into the hallowed category of "club classic". The record perfectly suited the open minds and open ears of discerning disc jocks in locales such as New York and Chicago where this sublime piece of electronic Disco sleaze would get plenty burn on the city's infamous WBMX thus having a huge impact, along with a whole host of other similar records, on the burgeoning house scene that was germinating in the fertile mid western soil. "B-Side" cut "Do It Again" is a pleasant enough early 80's Disco jam, but compared to the futuristic burner that is "Don't Stop" on the other side there's one clear winner. A must have for all Cosmic, Disco, Funk aficionados. Now made available again, legitimately licensed, remastered and reissued in conjunction with SAM Records New York City.

Maajo stands for May. The month of excitement and expectation of imminent joy. A time of hope following weeks and months of rain and cold. The time that best encapsulates escapism, those wistful, delightful daydreams. A time when you release yourself from everyday routine and already begin to live in the holiday that hasn't yet arrived. A place that might not even exist. Let it be a warm, a joyous place, a fuzzy bricolage you witness after passing out while watching a David Attenborough documentary. Outlandish and romantic ideas of distant cultures. Maajo is motion, movement from one place to another. It is moving without travelling, dream and dance.
Maajo is a musical continuation of the similarly titled 12' single by Herman Prime, the producer's idea expanded to a five member band. The music is the product of a mixed technique where vocal samples and programmed synthesizers coalesce with fingerplucked guitars and handheld percussion. Beneath everything run several strong currents of inspiration: an obsession with balearic disco, deep tribal roots, a love of eighties afropop, lessons from minimalist composers and a desire to just dub it up.
Tropic of Tulli is not a direct flight but a meandering journey. Starting beside a flowing river, Kaba sends us on our way with a gentle arrangement of kalimba and a Mandinga poem. Two midtempo groovers, Tum'pi and Makkara, set an expectant mood. Musa Paradisa lands on a tropical island with plentiful percussion and a clatter of mallets. The party starts with the fervent afrodisco number Okudu. There is a strange detour to an urban cityscape with Fode's meandering bass line and street drummer for company. The path leads to a dark rainforest, both menacing and inviting, following Kofi Obu's feverish vocal and desertic guitar riff. Darkness is Good is a bout of afrocosmic exploration. A.O.O. offers a final chance for a sunrise dance before the beautiful balearic theme Maajo closes the album with an intoxicated smile.
