HouseDeepTech

Pacifica has grown on the fertile soil of Zurich's rich club scene. Embracing broad influences ranging from Balearic to Deep House and Techno, the two producers and performers Domenico Ferrari and Balint Dobozi love to combine electronic rhythms with their own blend of sonic textures to reach that fragile balance of creating spaces for the listener's mind while delivering the beats for his feet.

Sau Poler - Memorabilia
126966 / ATMV038
ATOMNATION
12inch23.09.201623.SEP.16

HouseDeepElectroDisco

Sau Poler finished a new EP. Titled 'Memorabilia', the Catalan producer offers 5 new tracks with his typical crossover
house / electronica / disco sound. The best moments on Memorabilia come when Poler leans towards his iconic mix of classic
instrumentation by his Fender Rhodes and arpeggiator synth lines of his Arp Odyssey.
"Memorabilia" is like a link between past and present", Poler explains. "The result of this project is a transition that remains
back and forth during the creation of it. Unintentionally, i've been influenced for what i've done with my old project Pablie and for
the nowadays electronic incursions that Sau Poler is taking me on. I've start to experiment more and more with electronic
sounds, and feeling really excited about that. It's the reason I've decided to invest on new equipment,
aiming to work on longer song structures that can lay on different spots during the track length.
"Jaffe House", "Esperits" or "Gone" are a good example of that."
Sau Poler is one of the artists of the Golden Age of Spanish producers, flying the flag for the country together with guys
such as Pional, John Talabot and Marc Pinol. The Badalona-born musician toured Amsterdam, New York, Barcelona, Montreal,
Paris, Berlin and Calgary in 2015. Boiler Room invited him to play at the Generator show in Barcelona, he remixed Touch
Sensitive for the Australian label Future Classic and also Sonar Copenhagen & Transmusicales invited him to play his live set.

Tomson / Damier Aka Chez Damier / Synthcast / Pagal / Eddie - 10 Years Of Hudd Traxx: Now & Then - Part 1
HUDD050
Hudd Traxx
12inch15.05.201515.MAY.15

HouseDeepChicago

Hudd Traxx celebrate their 10th Anniversary in style with a 4 part Compilation called 'Now & Then'. The first part includes tracks from Chez Damier, Tomson, Agnes & Iron Curtis. Over the years Hudd have released music from the likes of Matthew Herbert, DJ Sneak, Rolando, Rick Wade, Iz & Diz, and JT Donaldson and a whole load more. The concept behind the release celebrates both new & classic tracks on the 'Now' & 'Then' sides respectively. Man of the moment Tomson kicks things off with a typically straight up House number entitled 'On The Buttons', and definitely is right on them with this one. Chicago legend Chez Damier steps up to the plate next with an Epic Deep House groover with elements of soulful Jazz, which will be well received for those late night or early morning sets. Flip for the B Side & find 2 Classic tracks with Agnes remix of 'The Bass' & Iron Curtis' 'You Are'. Both still sound as good as they did on their initial release, and prove that buying new Hudd Traxx music now will still sound as fresh in another 10 Years time.

Bleeping Sauce - Stories Ep Including Remote Remix
MEANT020
MEANT RECORDS
12inch29.10.201429.OCT.14

HouseDeepTech

Bleeping Sauce is the new live band project from esteemed Minus and Items&Things duo CLICK BOX who have teamed up
with the highly talented Eli Iwasa & Marcos Taga. Presented here is a new EP from them on Meant that showcases their dynamic sound, it comes with three original tracks and a remix by Remote.
Brazilians Marco A.S and Pedro Turra have been on top of the techno and minimal worlds since 2006 thanks to their inventive
and abstract sounds on only the finest labels. This new project shows they have another feather to their bow and sees them explore a sinewy, lovably machine made sound. 'Sounds and Stories' goes first and is a space-age bit of dark wave tech funk
with layers of gurgling synths, stark drums and a cool female vocal that adds tons of punk attitude to proceedings.
Ivan Smagghe or Andrew Weatherall would lap this sort of tune up with its gothic disco vibes. 'Set Time' is another great bit of dark and dirty disco with searching synths, apocalyptic atmospheres and purposeful, live sounding drums. It squeals and shoots in many different directions at once as a corrugated bassline ties the whole thing together. Then comes 'Cherry Green' with more aloof sounding female vocals, 80s dark wave drums and rubbery guitar lines. It's a fine bit of work that sounds like little else out there and is beautifully sombre in mood.
Remixer Remote is a musical duo made up of Eric Guillanton and Seb Fouble, a pair recognized as one of the figureheads
of the French electro scene. Their take on 'Cherry Green' is a filthy dirty, scuzzy and serrated synth laden slo-mo electro track
that will send the 'floor into raptures.
With this release MEANT introduce the world to what is sure to be an essential new project from the Click Box boys.

Idle Hands

HouseDeepElectronica

Bristol is a tight knit place and there has always been a healthy culture of collaboration in the city, LMYE (Lend Me Your Ears) are the latet in that tradition. Two friends who met, and for a period recorded above the Idle Hands shop on Stokes Croft. They made their debut on Funkineven's Apron label earlier in 2016 with the 'Cali 76'. Here they keep things closer to home with a release on Idle Hands.

'Manhattan' is as indebted to '70s US Funk as it is to '90s Uk Garage. A house tune that has turned heads on the various mixes it has found itself on over the last year.

Over on the flip Shanti Celeste turns in a brilliant remix, one of her best we think.

LUV021
LUV SHACK RECORDS
12inch15.09.201615.SEP.16

HouseDeepFunky

We welcome back our very own poster boys Jakobin & Domino with their 3rd EP for Luv Shack. Entitled Roshambo, J&D deliver a bumpy four tracker for your occasional night raves and summer daze. Our boys are kicking things off shiny with its title track Roshambo in an almost Motown-esque house affair way with soulful vocals and a funkadelic drum line.
Can't Help It is heating things up next with a tight syncopated groove, chopped up chord stabs and a lush vocal line on top.
As if this wouldn't be enough, Mooguai boasts in with a slick synth bassline and an hypnotic arp, underlaid with ethereal pulse strings and an upfront jazz-house beat.
EP closer Polar 7 harks back to the early days of house music, with witty 707 beats, a classic Juno bassline and a blissful organ theme to boot. Versatility that you shouldn't miss out!

Kalisha - I Got Something Here Lauhaus Rmxs
DCR007
DANSE CLUB RECORDS
12inch03.09.201303.SEP.13

HouseDeepTech

Following on from big releases by the likes of Cherie Lee, the storming Danse Club Records are back with another big house classic that comes complete with on point remixes from Dutch tech house hero Lauhaus, label bosses Brodanse plus Bass Culture alumni John Jastszebski who's version will be vinyl only. Kalisha's original is a classic house beat released on N Sync Inc back in 1992, but it still sounds hugely on point. With garage inflected beats, grainy, catchy percussion and pristine chord stabs it is an ebullient jam that brims with personality. The recognisable vocal samples help take it to the next level and mean it cannot fail to fill dancefloors everywhere. Updating the track for modern listeners are the three remixes. First is 100% and Area Remote stalwart Lauhaus who has long been a champion of loopy tech house. His version is much more punchy right from the off. The kicks are bulbous and the chords more metallic whilst the vocal is allowed to shine through at various points, just when you need it. The Brodanse brothers then do their educated thing by stripping the track back to eerie FX and thick wavey bass tones. Little melodic hooks pan left and right and imbue the whole thing with plenty of dynamism and the much more sparring use of the vocal helps make this a track very much with its own identity. Finally, vinyl buyers will be treated to an extra remix from fast rising French producer John Jastszebski. His version is stripped to the raw techno leaning bones. The textures are dark and broody and the groove New Release Information is heavyweight and wellchiselled meaning it locks you in place and keeps you there right until the last rotation. Another timely house rerelease from Danse Club then, but as ever one which

Kenny Glasgow - Circus Tales
NO19072
No.19 Music
2x12inch25.07.201625.JUL.16

HouseDeepTech

Electronic music heavyweight Kenny Glasgow is back with his much anticpated new solo album entitled 'Circus Tales'. Due for release on Jonny White's agenda setting No.19 Music, it is a long overdue and hugely welcome follow up to 2009's 'Taste of the Low Life' which appeared on the same label.
Before touring the world, releasing albums and appearing on magazine covers as influential duo Art Department with White, Glasgow was a key player in his native Canada as a DJ, producer and promoter, helping foment the local scene with his own key parties and DJ sets. His vocal work and production style is always truly unique, often featuring haunting sounds and desolate urban vibes that sound like no one else.
Releasing on labels like the Toronto based Jinxx during the 90s, he went on to become a key solo artist with the newly launched No.19 Music imprint back in 2008. This brilliant new album shows he has never stopped evolving and digs deep to find exciting new life in house, techno and plenty in between.
Right from the off, Glasgow's dehumanised style is on full display. Robot vocals and rugged grooves are embellished with creepy melodies and unhinged synths. After that arresting opener, 'Come On' keeps up the pressure with prying bass and slick drums, and 'Response From Mars' gets dark and freaky with wonky chords, minimal drum programming and metallic textures that are industrial and inviting.
Trying something fresh with each new track, the album switches up the moods and grooves with ease and style, and 'floor slaying cuts like 'Pro-to-Type' and the melodically expansive 'Everything is Breath' prove that with aplomb. 'Communication Meltdown' proves Glasgow can play truly musical chords as well as programme drums to make dancers go wild, and the final trio of tracks get truly heady and hypnotic for the most discerning back rooms out there.
This is a complete sound world from Glasgow that features a coherent and cohesive set of dance floor tracks. The whole thing is a masterful piece of forward facing work that will surely set the world alight this summer.
In advance of the full digital album release there will be a limited vinyl album sampler dropping in late July featuring 6 key tracks from the LP.

Der Hut
12inch30.09.201530.SEP.15

HouseDeepTech

With its newest vinyl, DER HUT presents a remix by Wahrlich & Carbon for Kotelett & Zadak's classic "Angela"
monster, Breger's pure and stormy "Dachschaden" as much as Wahrlich & Carbon with their "Empty" tune on record # 25.
A: Kotelett & Zadak - Angela (Wahrlich & Carbon RMX): Real experts will certainly remember the original Angela
monstrum with tears in their eyes. Years after, Wahrlich & Carbon come up with a rework which is, well, - quite
something! B1: Breger - Dachschaden: Deep, atmospheric and minimal. A great thumper found in the middle of the track as
a peak of the hill until the beats lapse back into the refreshing pureness of Dachschaden's massive framework.
B2: Wahrlich & Carbon - Empty: Wahrlich & Carbon come up with a track inspired by a Bruce Lee quote saying "Empty your mind - be formless". Its almost monumental repetitiveness makes this an hypnotic tool for loosing yourself in sound

Praus - What We Tellin Them / Lucas Valley Dr
LENG031
LENG RECORDS
12inch04.11.201604.NOV.16

HouseDeepSlow

Josh Praus has been involved in San Francisco's Bay Area scene for the last two decades. A prolifc collector and player of records, What We Tellin' Them marks his frst public outing as a producer. As debuts go, it's pretty darn impressive.
Praus has been working hard in the studio over the last three years, creating tracks that draw infuence from a wide range of styles and artists. He cites 'downtempo, disco, house, Italo and techno' as major inspirations,
and listeners may hear elements from all of these disparate styles on this assured, confdent EP.
Some may hear echoes of the trippy, tribal-infuenced house sound of Siesta and Tango Recordings in the dense, drum-heavy shuffe of 'What We Tellin' Them', while others may fnd comparisons with African rhythm tracks and hypnotic, late night techno. However you frame it, 'What We Tellin' Them' is
an impressively percussive, mid-tempo workout designed to tease and titillate late night dancefoors. Flipside 'Lucas Valley Dr', featuring the dreamy, freestyle vocals of experienced San Fran singer Nina Lares, couldn't be more different. Sparse, synthesizer-driven and undeniably intoxicating, it seemingly channels the spirit of both dubbed-out West Coast deep house, and the similarly delay-laden New York proto-house of Winston Jones and Paul Simpson. Throw in clear Italo-disco and Chicken Lips infuences, and you've got something that's undeniably magical. Both tracks were produced by Josh Praus at his home studio, with additional production, mixing and mastering by friend Layne Fox, best known as part of regular Leng contributors 40 Thieves.

Nils Penner delivers a lovely soulful EP with the mesmerising voice of Emilie Nana. The full spectrum of beautiful inducing vibes, just a great house record charged with emotions that comes right for the summer!

We were simply blown away, when we firstly listened to Nils Penner's latest offering for Compost Black. The follow-up of his - Master Petz release (Black Label #121) in 2014 is just a brilliant piece of music! Versatile, soulful and deep in full effect, just the way we love it!

The title track - The One features a sublime mesmerising vocal performance by Emilie Nana, who just released her debut album - The Meeting Legacy on Compost. A smoothly waving groover coming still in time for the late summer and suits perfectly late-back beach sessions and pool parties.

The B-side contains - Mercury , a proper deep house jam with an afro twist. Tricky percussion works and a playful bass line meet sophisticated orchestral vibes. Epic in many ways.

With the second track - Blue Nils shows his true talent as an ingenious arranger. The result is a wonderful instrumental journey, some finest ear milk. The happy end of this romantic EP.

Animous, Tin Man - Avers Ep
VOLT003
Volt Music
12inch12.09.201612.SEP.16

HouseDeepAcid

Volt Music once again stays true to it's non circumstantial approach to dance, this time with an incandescent 4 track EP by the Ukranian live duo Animous.

Don't be fooled by the low slung vibe on Avers'. This cut makes all the thugs come out to play. Combining constant dreamy stabs and Wurlitzer-like licks with an ever so nasty distorted acid rhythm makes this one appropriate as a party starter or an after, after hours crowd pleaser. If you forget, the constant reminder to Drop That Shit, don't worry, this will keep you on track.

The boys team up with the eerie vocal chords of Vladislava Lefor for Reverse'. This is 8 minutes of pure, lush and synthy depth that's carried through once again with the Animous signature lead that starts off way in the back and somehow ends up front row. Horn and vocals chops give this one a subtle sense of euphoria. Anytime, any place.

Stars' is an obvious preservation of Volt Music's non cliched approach, even within the confines of techno. The lack of regard for friendliness might be viewed as perverted. However those who admire the unification of polar opposites will love the combination of spectral vocals and keys steered by straight up familiar boom clap.

To close it off, Volt enlists the duties of strongman/homeboy Tin Man for this fierce remix. Known for his impressive sound and au fait love of everything acid, the choice was obvious. His version of Stars' holds a certain intensity that he manages to curb while simultaneously keeping us moving.
A true floor specialist.

Jordan - Killing Mockingbirds - Adesse Versions & Borrowed Identity Remixes
NOCTURNE001
Nocturne
12inch20.04.201620.APR.16

HouseDeepTechDetroitAcid

As an export of one of the fastest rising electronic hotbeds in the UK, established Belfast DJ and producer Jordan is developing his eponymous night into a brand new label for 2016. Featuring on point and house and techno from the man himself, Nocturne will also call upon plenty of high profile remixers and really aims to keep the spotlight on the exciting Northern Irish scene.

Nocturne, which started out as an illicit afterhours gathering and has also spawned a weekly Saturday offshoot, The Night Institute, is a party that is very much setting the local agenda and as such has gotten plenty of kudos thanks to tasteful bookings like Roman Flugel, Session Victim and Gerd Janson.

After the success of the parties, the logical next step is to develop the brand into an outlet for quality club beats. The man behind it all is Jordan McCuaig, someone who has impressed with releases on Luke Solomon's Classic Music Company, Extended Play and Made Fresh Daily. Like his home city, he is very much a star on the rise, as this first new EP on his own label proves.

Expert opener 'Killing Mockingbirds' is a jostling, busy cut with warm and dubby drums, loose claps and a fat bass line that rips right through the middle. It's fresh and inviting and has some well sculpted synths to add colour and heat. On remix duties first is Borrowed Identity, one of the breakout stars of recent times who releases on DVS1's Mistress label and the infamous Ostgut Ton. His take on the original is expressive indeed, and the result is a peak time cut with hulking drums, catch chords and knotted bass riffs that really get you going.

Next, 'The Block' is a classically inclined house cut with a wild and rich bassline spraying about between pinging kick drums, spangled synths and explosive snares and is a truly dynamic workout that will make every dance floor jack. The last of the originals is 'Strung Out', and it has rinsing breakbeats, wild, pitchbending tones and a dark jungle energy that makes it perfect for freakier late night sessions.

This one gets remixed in style by Adesse Versions, the acclaimed British techno talent who runs his own label and relates his killer wares on others like Numbers and Local Talk. In his hands it is an expansive, tough house groove with punchy kicks and perfectly smeared synths bringing a great sense of soul to the table. This is the start of a sure to be exciting new label that pays homage to its local roots as well as to Jordan's own well informed dance music understanding. As such, you should waste no time in getting behind it.

This new EP is an exemplary slice of the kind of deep, enigmatic techno that RUMORS has become well known for, all whilst showcasing Clarian's own unique, imagery-filled style. Title track 'Fear and Self-Loathing' is a dark, dreamy soundscape of exotic Arabian flutes, subtle acid stabs and echoing synths that plays out like a hallucinatory trip through the desert. Hunter Game, who has provided the first remix on the A-side, takes things down a grittier road of rolling techno, led by a stomping bassline and distorted stabs.

Meanwhile, the second remix on the B-side comes courtesy of Christian Burkhardt, who has switched up the pace for his 'Vegas' take on the record; sliding, tense synths are offset by driving drums and flickers of whispering vocals, lending the track a cinematic, car-chase-esque feel.

'Absence' is the last track included on the EP from Clarian. Cascading electronic arpeggios are underpinned by a strong beat, building up to an echoing excerpt from a classic French film - a couple reflecting on love ends with the female confessing that she wants to leave, giving the track a sombre edge.

A well-produced four tracks showcasing varying shades of the techno spectrum, the 'Fear and Self Loathing' EP is set to further cement both Clarian's status as a unique producer, as well as RUMORS' well-deserved reputation as a reliable source of high-quality music.

Cuartero - Disarm Ep

Crowned 'Best Newcomer' at the DJ Awards 2015, Cuartero returns to Hot Creations, following his 'Dioneli EP' smash release last year. Fresh on the table, the 'Disarm EP' ups the stakes and sheds new light on the talented producer.
Title track 'Disarm' was fully formed after days spent exploring his Minimoog, while 'Mounted' shows focus in the bassline and underlying swing, embroiled in dark, distorted vocals. Speaking of the final track, Cuartero explains, ''It Stops' is a completely different style of track that adds old radio broadcasting snippets over Detroit stabs.'
Despite being recently named 'Best Newcomer', Spanish bred Cuartero has been producing since the tender age of 15 with his first release dropping in 2009. Releases followed on highly acclaimed labels such as Desolat, VIVa MUSIC, Saved, Moon Harbour and Hot Creations, achieving great national and international success with most tracks reaching the Beatport Top 100. In 2011 he founded his own brand, Sanity, enabling him to start a record label and host parties worldwide with the idea of prioritizing the essence of music over the appearance of top named artists. It was in 2012 things really started to heat up with an abundance of gigs in five continents, numerous top chart positions on, a gig at Amnesia closing and a prized residency at Hyte (Amnesia). Fast forward to the present and the high level of success only continues to soar.

HouseDeep

The exploration of talent by our globetrotting scouters continues as we head to Finland to find the very exciting cosmic sounds of Deux Tigres, of Moodmusic fame, and Erkka (Anjunadeep). This newly formed team joined forces to deliver a great EP to continue with our very successful OFFSPIN series.

"Sunkissed" is a unique track, with an exceptional use of jazzy chords and electric piano stabs working their way into a groovy bassline progression and topped with cool vocal snippets and a killer breakdown. A feel-good harmony experience for sure.

"Whos the one" follows, the bass riff takes over and the vocal stabs and percussion make the rhythm unstoppable, its all about the funk in this one, as the groove builds up in perfect balance of elements and everything contributes yet into another refined dancefloor weapon.

This is truly a very refined and original take on modern house music, dont miss it!

Responsible for some of the biggest house/techno singles of the past 18 months with 'Flo Jam', 'Nobody Else' and 'Careless', North London duo Dusky aka Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman present a limited run of two of their best loved deeper excursions in 'Mr Man' and 'Lost Highway'.

Having been supported by DJs as varied as Eats Everything, Sasha, Justin Martin and Damian Lazarus, the deep brooding 'Mr Man' has been deployed as a leftfield end-of-night anthem by so many thanks to its unexpected use of magical classical pianos.

A deep gem from their 2011 album 'Stick By This', the beautifully unfurling 'Lost Highway' is found on flip and balances deep grooves and measured melodic beauty perfectly.

Fabric Live 89 shows off Hannah's bass-heavy sound channelled throughout her own productions, as well as those from well-known players like Shadow Child, Huxley, Cera Alba and Josh Butler. The already-iconic collaboration between Funky pioneer Champion and Four Tet's 'Flip Side' makes the cut too. The mix also sees Hannah venturing into darker, tech-ier territory, such as the Erykah Badu-sampling 'High' by Dennis Cruz and Enrico Sangiuliano and Secret Cinema's 'Alone With The Bitch'. An unreleased track by Jacob B, 'The Substance' provides one of the heaviest moments of the mix, contrasting nicely with the sparse yet gritty follow up, Alex Coulton's 'Ambush'. Hannah rounds off with a couple of releases from two of techno's biggest labels, Tale Of Us's remix of Thugfucker's famous 'Disco Gnome' on Life And Death and Marco Faraone's pounding 'Boost' on Drumcode. Expertly bringing the tempo back down Hannah selects Domino release 'Cold Nites' by How To Dress Well as her final track

Cold Tonic are back with their first release of 2016 - This time its a split 12' between the label boss and brand new signing Sandboards.
The A side see's KK take the foundation of 'SQUAD' (Tonic001) and extend it into an 8 minute uplifting anthem drenched in euphoria and vitamin D.
On the flip - We're extremely happy to present a new signing for the label - Sandboards. This is the duo's musical debut, a love song for the dance floor. 'Nothing But A Freak' combines rattling drums and melancholic chords sitting pretty underneath a spoken word monologue about the one thing that keeps us moving.
