First of all, Little Hado is a person with great passion for quality sounds. Starting with year 2008, his passion rapidly became a burning desire to learn how to play and produce music.

From then on, in just one year he was invited to play at various parties - his first party was at an After Hours at Mash-up Club in Bucharest - thus gaining more experience and getting to know how and what can make a person smoothly move on the dancefloor.

Always open to new ideas and in continuos research for better sounds, his musical style ranges from house to techno and even experimental.

Decoder Recordings is back with its second release. Swedish DJ and producer Mattias Fridell delivers strong driving techno on the EP called The Tasker. It contains four tracks, and the title track immediately discloses what's the deal with this EP: quality loop based techno with Fridell's signature clearly present. Current World Ecclesiarchy is the second track and on the same level as The Tasker, while 33 Endocytosis is a bit more funky. A pounding remix of that last track is delivered by The Binary Mind.

After the last Vinyl Release in 2009, Soap Records now welcomes the 12" lovers with a new blasting four track Ep.
The Maxi features on the A Side the Track ,,Pending" by Mikel, from which we already heard of on labels like Plastic City, Grove on and also Soap records. The track has a remarkable Glower and a bassline just fitting for the coming Winter. Almost unnecessary to mention that with the break, the dancefloor begins to escalate. Furthermore with a remix from Markus Fix we look forward to a artist which we already know through huge releases on Cecille and Cocoon Records. With his special Interpretation he brings it to finish with Hit-Potential.
Even if a track is still actual after 15 years, one should still re-publish it. No quote, much more a Statement which fits perfect with the EP, which we are handling with here. Mushrooms still sounds not a bit old fashioned, even after that long time.
Therefore on the B Side as a Re release the Meat vs Einzelkind Remix which already received a lot of remarks in 2008.
Meat is known as one of the owners of the Disclabel Freebase in Frankfurt, who also made his name with releases on Moonharbour and Souvenir. Together with Einzelkind he published many succesfull EP´s for Get Physical Music.
The project Einzelkind on his own has also releases on Playhouse and Kindisch. In their remix they first deconstruct the spoken Vocals and build up a stand-alone baseline with effectice Ride usage. The vocals get going after the middle of the track. This develops a remarkable Charme on its own. For the finish of the whole Labelchief Toni Rios, known through releases on Cocoon rec, Kompakt and Kling Klong, just to mention a few, and Chris Wood, known as Co-Producer and partner of Meat with releases on Moonharbour and Souvenir, coming through with the Track ,,Inception". A deep, groovy and straight-House-Stomper, which brings a great EP to a even greater finish.

This year irrepressible Italian born electronic producer Roberto Bosco returns with a new EP via his own imprint Last Drop Records, recently founded alongside with his partner in crime Kiny. This EP, that features four tracks, begins in media res with Sonorous Waves Part 1. An ambient intro track that creates the conditions for a mystic and celestial environment that pervades the whole release. Towards the end of the track a psychedelic reflection reshapes the sound: it is the light that filters, crystal clear and bright. The other track on the same side, Part 2, is more dancefloor oriented with a 4/4 beat and multi-layered structure made of typical industrial and techno sonorities. It's evident that they include Roberto Bosco's legacy: stormy emotions but with deep and melodic sound lines. Part 3 is another intro track, starting with spectral sounds that carefully develop into a full sci-fi ambience. Then, finally, part 4 arises with obscure and hypnotics sounds that match very slowly a more perpetual and gentle 4/4 that ends with ups and downs and a syncopated bass.

'Android (Adamantium Mix)' is a slow and percolating house track with a rugged acid line and sharp percussive knives cutting up the rubbery kick drums below. Swirling pads add a cosmic atmosphere and there whole hits slowly but surely builds to a raging and intense peak of bristling hits and gurgling synths. It's controlled chaos and then 'Tacchi A Spillo' treads a more direct path. Again the high hats are bright and sharp, the mood is very sci-fi and the bass lines rumbled down low. Like a deep space odyssey this one travels far and wide and grows ever more physical and jacking as it goes on.

For more than ten years Dimi Ange´lis and Jeroen Search have been working together to demonstrate just how they think serious techno should be executed. Their respective careers as individual artists are equally accomplished, but as a pair they have shown a fierce dedication to just the kind of aesthetic principles that define Chronicle as a label, and so it gives us great pleasure to present an expansive EP of six tracks that tunnel deep into the bowels of late night, uncompromising techno. While they have been known to shore up at labels as respected as M_REC LTD, Balans and Smallville, it is with their own A&S imprint that the Dutch duo have shaped out their identity the most in recent years and this new release marks a rare departure from their home turf.

There is a powerful economy of elements that feed into Ange´lis and Search's constructions on 'The Order Of Occurrence', using restraint and poise as devices of tension in the most effective way possible. From the finest slither of string sitting atop the drums to a desolate bleep ringing out in empty space, the suspense that comes from these carefully wielded elements creates as powerful an emotional reaction as any brash studio acrobatics, and that's where the magic of A&S lies. With just the bare essential elements this pair of accomplished technonauts can say a profound amount, and in that sense they make for the perfect fit with the Chronicle mandate.

Chicago house legend Mystic Bill joins Crimes Of The Future with two straight up jacking house tracks with bonus instrumental and a mind bending remix by Scott Fraser. Bill Torres needs little introduction to those fans of the original Chicago movement in the late 1980's and 1990's, he produced a string of 12's for the likes of Trax and Relief Records whilst playing and holding down DJ residences in some of the citties best loved venues. After remixing Scott Fraser's No Word Of Truth release last year on his DX Recordings label his first full solo release on Crimes Of The Future has arrived.The A cut Frequency 9 is a rolling jacker with rattling percussion and dark synth stabs to dement the warehouse dancefloor and very much in the line of Bill's trademark style. A2 see's Fraser return the remix favour delivering a massive floor bumping remix adding all new drums, 303 and huge bassline giving a nod to the classic sound of those Sex Trax/ Power Music 12's from the 1990's with his 11 minute mind control remix.... The frequency cannot be controlled! Side B has both the original and a bonus intrumental of The Ship Is Sinking, a dark slice of jacking house complete with real tension and total mastery of the sampler for those able to spot it.

"Up to about the late nineties it had become widely popular in Chicago for Dj's to play their own recordings and edits off of tape. Many in the past had used Reel To Reel, but pitch control cassette decks and cassette tapes were a more inexpensive way to go. This gave us a chance to feature songs and edits that we had been made right on the fly, A lot of these songs became popular amongst certain groups but were never pressed to vinyl. Here are two of my own recording that could only be found on cassette, until now" Mystic Bill"

My initial excitement when the Orb's agreed to do a remix for me was almost too much to handle for my surroundings, being the kings of ambient and all. Luckily, they deliver and I couldn't be happier with the result. Thomas Fehlmann & Dr.Alex Patterson delivers 2 contrasting takes on their pick from my "Principe Del Norte" album. One for the pirate ship and one for the spaceship.

A year after his first release on the label, German deepsmith Sven Weisemann is back on Delsin with a sophomore effort entitled Separate Paths. Down for his moody outings on labels like Mojuba and Telrae, this new four track affair continues to mark out the man behind it as a master of atmosphere. Grooves floating in mid air and subtle melodies drift by like half remembered thoughts. Head music that also makes your body move. It may only be four tracks long, but this EP truly takes you on a journey somewhere far away from this world.

"I first got introduced to Cliff Lothar through a mutual friend of ours at the time, Lori Napoleon (Antennes). I was surprised by what I heard. He had this feel in his music that seemed to set him apart from just about everybody I had heard at the time. From the start of my time over at Submerge with Mike Banks, Mike had always given me demos to check out, because he just didn't have the time and a lot of the stuff that came in sounded very much the same. A lot of it was very well made but to be honest it was rare to find something that stood out. A few years later, me and Mad Mike were talking about some of the old UR records and one off labels, and I mentioned World Power Alliance. Mike had always wanted to fire the label back up, but there was just never enough time to scout artists outside of Detroit to fill the roster. I said I might have some stuff sitting aside from friends of mine over there that you may like. None of it really seemed to grab him till I popped in Cliff's stuff. The thing that always made me crazy is that I would have loved to snatch up some of the material and put it out, but we just couldnt find enough variety of artists around it to fill in more records. This record contains some of those tracks. This guy knows what he's doing and I'm sure you'll hear plenty more from him in the future. His expansive discography and a long series of wildly successful forays into the north have established him as an internationally-renowned master of the dance floor. Psyfunk provides minutely crafted and slowly-evolving extended DJ tools. 

* New London based electronic music label Khemia Records announces its first split release vinyl Ep. The curatorial agenda for the label retrospectively reflects the programming of the KAOS London events.
The 'Vernal Equinox Edition' Ep delivers two muscular, tensile tracks extending over more than nine minutes, across each of the 'Solar' and 'Lunar' sides.

* 'La Grille' on the Solar side, is a masterclass in hypnotic sonics.
A propulsive proto-techno monster from cult veteran French producer In Aeternam Vale. 'La Grille' was built for the dance floor with the insistent momentum of its hammered rhythms, reverberating echoes and intense emotional crescendos.

* On the 'Lunar Side' Bronze Teeth delivers 'Rude Movements' a virtuoso attack of left-field modular electronics with the construction of a caustic, industrial broken-beat experiment. Distorted kicks are balanced, despite the aggression. Shaded noise remains rhythmic even as the track veers out of control into the feral chaos of static hiss and incendiary clatter of abrasive dissonance.

* Taken together the tracks on this first release map the boundaries and liminal sonic territories that Khemia Records sets out to explore.

The 7th release on Bond is the second release in Petter B's series called 'Roots'. On the A-side you find a 'Roots Pt. II' with a big yet simple hoover lead. Its simple structure together with its powerful breakdown and tons of dirt makes it a great weapon in a DJs arsenal. On the flip side there are two tracks, the outer one is called 'First Wave'. The track has a powerful low end and a rhythmic and minimalistic hook. It builds up almost like a wave and
plunges down into a break and begins its journey one more time.
The inner track on the b-side is a percussive monster. Its hook is made up of dubbed out percussive elements. After listening to it in a dark room for to long you can almost hear the tre drums starting to talk to you.
The label Bond is the brainchild of Swedish techno DJ and
producer Petter B. The concept of the label is 'music by DJs for DJs'. The label focuses on releasing tracks that enable the DJ, rather than the producer, to be creative. It is based on that special bond which is created every time a DJ combines tracks, loops and sounds live into something new and unique.

After his successful 'I'm Made of Stars' LP last year, Michele Pinna brings his Time Traveler moniker back to his Chronicles Diary imprint with 'Chapter V: Chronicles from 1957'. Following the label's concept 'Chapter V' is dedicated to his mother Anna Maria and time is being stretched back to her birth, where past and future seem to collide through Time Traveler's dystopian vision of techno.
A1 opens the EP with an industrial killer groove and Time Traveler's distorted vocals prompting to follow him in an out of control journey.
A2 rushes in with a more mental and compulsive beat, where synths and percussions converge. On the flip side, we find B1 infused with hypnotic modular melodies and intense rolling analog grooves. B2 concludes Time Traveler's journey with its finally crafted, hammering beats, ecstatic bass synths and drum patters.

When Tresor founder Dimitri Hegemann stumbled into a former bank vault in East Berlin on March 13th 1991, he had little idea that the space he had unlocked would fast become one of Berlin's most influential and enduring techno clubs. "We didn't know what would happen 10 months later," he says. "We signed a lease for a year. Which eventually got renewed for another three months, and another three months.."

As Tresor celebrates its 25th anniversary with this work of artists from the US, Germany, China, France, Austria, Italy and the UK, it is worth dwelling on how the cultural conditions that birthed Detroit techno - economic neglect and broken industry - were mirrored by the disused bunkers and impromptu parties of post-unification East Berlin, where techno found new, vigorous expression.

Today, though the boom and bust of globalised capitalism has filled the void that followed the Berlin Wall, and techno has become a worldwide industry, we face a new political chapter, one defined by populism, nationalism and mistrust. Contemporary creatives should take inspiration from Tresor's story, an extraordinary experiment born from improvisation, resourcefulness and social neglect that uplifted the spirits of inner city communities for a quarter-century.

This record marks the spirit of those 25 years of creativity, a paean to the psychedelic music of Dimitri's youth. From the signature magnetic soundscapes of Vainqueur to the dark textures of upcoming Beijing producer Shao; from Jon Hassell's slow epicurean volutes, to the ritual auras of Marcelus and Claudia Anderson's contributions; from the dub-infused pioneering programming of Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald, to Mønic's enthralling cadences, it represents some of the old and new names that continually epitomise Tresor's perennial spirit of ingenuity. "We were space pioneers," says Dimitri.

The East Berlin of 1991 may have disappeared to gentrification, with Tresor's lonely vanguard joined by an army of venues catering to an international array of clubbers benefiting from low cost travel, many of whom settle in the city for good. Berlin is Europe's economic engine, headquarters to global industry and sole traders alike, where Polish, Kurdish and English are as likely to be spoken as German. That range of influences is felt in all areas of life, not least in the city's music.

"Without Tresor, Berlin would not be what it is today," concludes Dimitri. "Even though it sounds a bit pretentious, it is true. Tresor was the prototype for an extraordinary club. It was only possible as a combination of the right time, the right place, the right content and determined people."

A one bar hook plays centre stage, morphing continuously (plucked, hammered, played, organic and synthesised) as waves of intensity build and recede. Simplicity and endless variation in sound built around a measured beat.

Taking a deep direction and fat sound, the beats roll and snake their way through glitches and handclaps into two huge melodies at a frantic pace. Reverb, echo and delay and just a hint of acid at the breakdowns show the true depth of this piece.

Jake Conlon - Cry of the Necromancer
The 'cry' is a cycling whisper from the grave, slowly building in intensity and menace and overtaking the trademark hard kicks and clipped percussion that characterise Conlons productions. Fine, minimalistic, machine techno.

David Meiser - Epsilon (Louis Ray Remix)
Ray puts the original through a turbocharger, winding up the bpm, widening the kicks and percussion and reworking the hook into a straight up dance floor missile with just a touch of dub.

Joseph Capriati is set to launch his brand new Record Label REDIMENSION whose debut release is a collaboration with his friend and key figure in his career Adam Beyer. This challenging project sees Joseph artistically committed to releasing great electronic music from Artists he holds in high esteem, be they close friends or emerging talents. His friendship with Adam Beyer started a long time ago and Capriati soon became an established artist for Drumcode, releasing his second full length album, 'Self Portrait' with the label. A relationship that was reinforced over time and significantly resulted in several legendary B2B performances in venues such as Berghain and Monegros to name just a few. Adam and Joseph worked side by side in Adam's hometown Stockholm, where the two could spend a great time in the Studio giving birth to these two state of the art tracks. Both of which have been highlight moments of their recent and copious DJ sets across the Globe. The artwork is part of a tryptich that explores the dynamism of the movement of horses. It's hand painted using the 'tachism' technique, which involves the use of dabs or splotches of colour, similar in aims to abstract expressionism. Early May will see Mihai Popoviciu return with his second long player in the shape of the 'Home' LP on Bondage music, comprising twelve original compositions from the Romanian artist.

Mihai Popoviciu : "The album's called "home" because it is inspired by my experiences from my home city Sibiu in Romania. Home is also the place where the album was produced, in my stripped down studio. It is where I always return to rest and chill after touring the world and the place where I feel most safe and comfortable. The artwork shows an image of the airport lane in Sibiu with surrounding hills and mountains in the back. It is a metaphoric "gate" to both leave and return home."

Romania's Mihai Popoviciu has carved out quite the career over the past decade releasing material through the likes of Highgrade, Hudd Traxx, Poker Flat and Fear of Flying. Here though we see him deliver his second full-length album and return to Bondage Music following a single on the label back in
2013.

Across the project Mihai delivers his signature dance floor focused, stripped back style with records like 'ACK', 'Sandstone Folder' and 'Tentacle Operated' showcasing the hypnotic and percussive style
Popoviciu executes so well. The project also drifts into smooth dubby realms via compositions like 'Cannon Poets' and 'Sunshine' while the likes of 'Triumph' and 'Music 999' radiantly display Mihai's proficient production abilities as he wanders into a brighter more house centric sound.

All in all Mihai Popoviciu turns in a coherent long player whilst exploring a broad range of styles, 'Focus and 'Havana' lay down a groove-led feel with subtle modulations and an unfaltering structure, while 'Data On Data', 'Paranoia' and 'Hypnosia' tip the focus over to dark and brooding territories with murky synth pads and chuggy low end tones. Once again Popoviciu has proven himself to be one of Romania's finest electronic music exports.

Nkisi Kill EP is the debut solo release from Melika on the new MW label, the Belgian/Congolese producer known best in the last few years for her prolific work on NON collective. The 12" encapsulates the variety of styles she has help champion through her work and DJ-sets, from afro centric rhythms to influences of Gabber and dark Belgian techno. 100 copies initial run only..

Lead track Kill is a full blooded rhythm attack, while the atmospheric journey of Can U See Me showcases the subtler side of Melika's talents. On the flip is the heavy hitting Mwana, while EP closer Parched Lips is a straight up 148bpm acid techno bomb. An incredibly strong first release, with exciting entry points for Nkisi's multi-faceted art and music career.

Randomer is back at once again for L.I.E.S. and again delivers the goods. Taking the entire a-side is Smoking, and it does exactly that as it's a full on club fueled rugged electro cut that does the job straight up and down. Velvet opens the b-side on a different note building huge tension with its buried rave chords waiting just for the right moment for the drums to drop, a proper club beast if used at the right time. Rye closes it out taking it in the other direction with tribal drums and voices in tow driving it home. Massive!

This new EP on Code Is Law features a great talent who has his roots based in the Lithuania Jungle & Dubstep circles. This record contains heavy techno with concepts of modern times electronic beats and oldschool vibes. The whole sounddesign got a rough and raw aesthetic while all tracks are taking focus on the dancefloor with a massive bassdrum, evil vocals and rhythmic synthlines.

We could listen to him in his previous releases on Fasten Musique and Round Qube Musik and now with his own Label he introduces its minimal deep sound connected with his roots in classical piano and composition. The result is a unique grooving sound,turning into a warm ipnotic dimension

There could be intentions and not just coincidences to the timeliness of this and 'The Planets' by Gustav Holst. Both released at similar eras of their centuries. Holst in 1918 and Mills at 2017, each are unique in terms of the economic and political conditions and uncertainty of emerging and expanding industries. In 1918, it was the end of the War and the Industrial Age, the replacement of manual labor with the invention of application of the tireless and union-free machine.

In 2017, people are once again, being replaced by another man-made creation, computers and the Internet in the workforce - both eras of societies in transition, both greatly affected by identity, self worth and reflection of what it means to be worthy. Both eras are struggles of being barricaded by the past and forced to recognize the future - even when it's a future that seems to not recognize everyone.

The story of other Planets could be defined as an alternative to the conditions of the day or the situations here on Earth - a vehicle that looks beyond the points of 'here and now' and focuses its view on the possibility that there will be other chances to exist - fresh starts on new worlds with new conditions. If it is intentional, then Planets serves more than just entertainment escapism or educational purposes. It's mere existence points to the subject of hope and continuation in times when it's difficult to imagine and if we look forward another 100 years, we might find a similar case where the turn of a Century provokes humans to redefine, create and invent for the preparation of the new era past the new Century and there we might find another observation of The Planets.

The history of Planets...

It has been 100 years since the British composer Gustav Holst introduced his most famous score «The Planets». An elegant musical tour to each one of our Planets in the Solar System, Holst brought forth imaginary visions of space that would survive many generations and decades after. As an important piece to the classical universe, 'The Planets' is regularly played throughout the World every year as it had been the most vivid translation of our cosmic neighborhood until now.

The Electronic Music artist and producer Jeff Mills, pays tribute to this century of incredible musical production. He embarks to compose a sonic journey to re-discover our neighboring planets in a 18 piece suite that explores the nine planets, including the portions of space in between the Planets, the nine regions Mills calls Loop Transits.

Deeply inhabited by science-fiction, Jeff Mills adopts its ideas, concepts, stories and esthetics from the outset. For him, Space is an obsession and his music almost becomes a musical science-fiction. Conquering space, his music embodies the future while both respecting the past and remaining well into the present. Mills takes the rotating principle of the solar system as aesthetics, concept and model for creativity. From the beginning, his first releases explore futuristic and science fiction topics and continue to do so to this day. For Jeff Mills, the future is a powerful creative drive which explains the artist's ceaseless activity.

Since its creation and like the intention of Holst, each track is musically imagined to invoke the psychological affect, emotions and ideas of each planet. But unlike in the year 1918, when the score was first publicly heard on the last week of World War I, 100 years later, we now have a more accurate knowledge about what each Planet is made of and what they look like. The piece should bring the audience closer to confronting each planet in ways that audiences in 1918 could only dream of.

With the French composer Sylvain Griotto, the arranger of Planets and Mills' previous work on the album and classical score about the NASA astronaut and doctor Mamoru Morhi's space journey in 1992 and 2000 from the album 'Where Light Ends', Mills has created an electronic music album that have been translated for symphonic and philharmonic orchestras and will accompany them in their live debut and all performances. Starting to conceptualize and produce music for it dating back to 2005, Mills constantly worked on the project over the years to bring it to fruition.

In July 2016 Jeff Mills has completed the last production stages of the Planets album at the world famous Abbey Road Studios in London. Recorded and will be released in 5.1 surround on the Blue Ray digital format, the soundtrack needed a particular high level of expertise that could only be attended to at hands of the renowned senior studio engineer Jonathan Allen. The expertise and quality associated with the legendary Abbey Road Studios is recognized globally and undeniably the most famous studio in the World. It is with acclaim from the Beatles, Pink Floyd, or more recently Radiohead before him, that Jeff Mills will bring Planets at this legendary music institution.

The mastering sessions occurred on August 2016 with the acclaimed Mastering engineer Darcy Proper in Holland.

Lebanon Hanover's bassist William Maybelline is back with his solo project. After the debut album Sable from 2015, Qual strikes back with a three-track 12' maxi-single. Each one of these new songs explore a different dimension of Maybelline's approach to Body/Wave electronics.

The title-track Cupio Dissolvi is what we may already call classic Qual: gloomy and throbbing, synth-driven and labyrinthine. A Bloody Blob explores new martial slants, with war-like timpani and a marching robot gait. Rape Me in the Parthenon is a 8 minute long dancefloor mayhem anthem scanned by some pounding techno drumbeat and EBM snare and pads. The name DETOBEAT. derives from the home cities of all parties involved in this project: DE/nver (Todd Nickolas), TO/ronto (Linus Booth and Chris Macintyre), BE/rlin (Gene Kouzouka) and AT/hens (Lurid Music).

Booth and Macintyre have enjoyed international success as Jokers Of The Scene and are currently focused on several new projects. Nickolas has been friends of the duo since their formative years and a music producer in his own right under the name ADSR, which will soon see an archival release on Rising High Records. Gene Kouzouka is an animated and live-action film designer, and an experimental vocalist who was introduced to the project by Lurid Music label head Alexander Hobson.

Their debut release features a reworked female vocal version of Ciffs by Marie Davidson, an assaulting techno rework from her Essaie Pas partner Pierre Guerineau, a psychedelic guitar excursion from Khidja, as well as the first ever remix commissioned from legendary greek electronic composer Lena Platonos.

wollte einfach nicht fertig werden. Doch Mike Fabulous aka Lord Echo hat dem Druck standgehalten. Und
zwar mit Bravour, wie die Vorab-Albumauskoppelung "Just Do You" eindrucksvoll unter Beweis stellt! Die
organisch groovende, dezent psychedelische 12'' des Produzenten, Gitarristen und Sängers von The Black
Seeds und Mitglieds von Fat Freddy's Drop enthält drei swingende Versionen des Titeltracks, darunter ein
Instrumental und eine Dub-Fassung, sowie die Disco-Nummer "Only You". Bei beiden Songs erhielt Lord
Echo Gesangsunterstützung von langjährigen Kollegen. Während Mara TK (Electric Wire Hustle) "Just Do
You" mit souligen Vocals veredelt, zeigt Toby Laing (Fat Freddy's Drop) bei "Only You" sein Talent am

The next release on Zone is another mighty one, this time from electro and techno duo Mikron with a great remix from The Exaltics.

Mikron is a no nonsense duo who have already put out a full length this year in the form of Warning Score' on Central Processing Unit. As well as that cohesive opus, they have credits on this label dating back to 2012 and have the sort of high impact, toughened style that always makes a mark.

The brilliantly gurgling and steely Ulterior' kicks things off with sheet metal hits, slithering bass and buffed-up synth sounds that make you jerk your body. It's direct stuff for the dancefloor, and so is Vanguard'. Though less quick and in your face than the opening track, it still has the sort of crisp groove that has real impact. A distant cosmos of howling winds and thundering rumbles add weight to the whole thing and really finishes it in style.

'Foresight' is even more haunting and spooky. Chilly metal pads spiral in the background, lurching drums and hits bring the groove and the mood overall is truly unsettling. It's devastating stuff that gets completed with Clone and Shipwrec artist The Exaltics' take on Ulterior'. The German has fun layering in Drexcyia style, ripped-up synths and crisp hits. It's macho and post apocalyptic and is as inviting as it is austere.

All four cuts here are standout electro offerings from one of the best duos in the game.

Spanish rising talent Piek has been making music for some
years now, his collaboration with UNER on Diynamic put him on
the electronic map, getting one of the most original and
special sounds of Spain. After his successful WYWFM ep, he's
back to Sincopat finding the balance between melodic music
and dance-floor. In this EP he presents two faces from two
different cultures: Lazarusman is a South-African poet, and
Bjerk Peterson is a Mexican musician with Latin influences.
Piek joins Lazarusman on Not Afraid, a journey with fat synths
and epic melodies. With the English man DeMarzo on the
remix duties, his interpretation proves that he is really in shape
right now. One More Night is another winner track, which goes
hypnotic thanks to the powerful bass and a magic voice as
the hook. Daniel Kyo offers a different and a more personal
techno reinterpretation, stunning and as emotive as the
original. Enjoy!

After a pair of well-received EPs and a string of immersive live shows over the past year, Berlin based producer Mike Jefford prepares the release of his first long player under the Positive Centre moniker, entitled 'In Silent Series'.

Within this Album, Jefford offers a larger window into his unique take on techno. Submerged rhythm and shadow-drenched sonics combine with tunneling bass heft to create an at times unsettling blend of extreme momentum and forced introspection. The delicacy of Jefford's production helps set him apart from fellow techno producers currently mining the combination of darker palettes and slower tempos, while the cohesiveness of the album and it's structural narrative belie the fact that this is only the third official Positive Centre release. 'In Silent Series' confirms Jefford's unique sound has emerged fully formed into the modern techno landscape.

Influenced by the GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales) School Masters, Pierre Henry and Iannis Xenakis, as well as more contemporary manipulators of sound (from King Tubby and Scientist through to Marsen Jules and Aphex Twin), Positive Centre takes the exploration of sound reproduction and audio collage into rhythmic and hypnotic spirals of reverberated walls of sound, emphasising subtle changes in repetition with low frequency sound.

One of the UK's longest running Electro acts, Transparent Sound feature on the next EP from Billy Nasty's Electrix label, with three other mainstays of the scene, Larry McCormick, Mr Velcro Fastener and Sync 24 all offering their remix skills.

Transparent Sound formed by Orson Bramley and Martin Bundock in 1994 have over 30 releases including 2 albums under their belt, many of which were self-released on their own label or Electrix, plus appearances on Solid Groove, Crayon, Colin Dale's Abstrakt Dance (their 'Freaks Frequency EP' for the label is exchanging hands for upwards of £150!) and Exceptional who released their 'Hair Cut Fantasy' album in 2005. Not ones to churn out releases relentlessly (quality over quantity comes to mind) they have nevertheless kept a steady flow to this day. Recently their 'Punk Mother Fucker' 12' was re-released by Germany's Pressure Traxx who have also been home to the likes of Einzelkind and Ricardo Villalobos. Currently they're working on a remix for Alpha 606 (Interdimensional Transmissions) as well as a brand new Transparent Sound live set, which they're looking forward to bringing to clubland.

'No Call From New York' opens with their Acid Mix, a unique track with a punchy start that gradually allows for a pause of experimentation before the heavy bass and tough beats kick back in, with twisted electronics aplenty.

Onto the remixes and Larry McCormick, best known for releases on Datapunk, Satamile, Psi49net and his own label Monotone, whether under his own name or Exzakt, delivers a dappled and jagged-edged remix that doesn't falter. Finnish duo Mr Velcro Fastener have been creating Electro since 1997 and released their first EP a year later on their own Tie Entertainment. Further releases have followed on the likes of i220 and Electrix. Here they lay the bassline heavy and add vocal flourishes to their emotive rendition. Finally the London-based Cultivated Electronics and Scand man, Sync 24's remix heads straight into deep, jackin' Electro territory with a precise blow.

You could easily think it's all about the battle ready title track with it's Moondoggin DR Rhythm fanfare, but the B side holds two classic pieces too: Black Sunday is really some of that train of thought octave rinsing psych'd out business we all know and love Mr Moss for, while the crushin' analogue B-Boy groove on Manichaeanism is a total B2 nugget, going into near SKAM territory... we are a bit excited about this one over here!!

30 releases strong, Northern Electronics calls to arms for an entire army-strong release. Scandinavian Swords II collects new players next to the regular stable into a 3x12" release, where the labels many facets gets showcased through the hands and minds of its artists. The label stems from Abdulla Rashim's urge to release artists and friends under the same banner. By letting its artists have a solid platform, Northern Electronics has taken them to areas far out of reach for many: from major festivals to heading deep into the wilderness of urban decay and open air parties in forests and castle grounds. Forming its sound as a unity through every release, the coherence of the label lies in influences such as new wave and ambient, tangled together with hypnosis. In this wonderful sonic mixture lies the trademark sound of Northern Electronics, buried deep into the minds of the forward-thinkers.

It's for the first time ever that this moniker of the prolific Dutchman will have a physical release. Wolfers: "The OOC sound is an accumulation of twenty years of musical training and research and what effect it has on the brain. Simply put it's electronic ambient music, which is more advanced compared to the music I'm creating with my Smackos alias. OOC is deeper and more melodic, less loose and vague but perhaps more intense. It can bring the listener into a completely different state of mind, you can almost call it ritualistic neuroscience music."

The six tracks are recorded around the same time, using coherent recording techniques. "Let's say I was in a flow, or something like that. But I rather think it's the music itself that gives it a distinctive sound: the way the music was composed, the notes and the sound palette. I haven't used any sharp sounds for example, but everything is very round so your brains will soak it up as something smooth."

Apart from the track 'Just a Clown On Crack', the release lacks kick drums. "Most or nearly all music from PC doesn't have a beat because it is often unnecessary, it distracts from the melody or what should be processed in the mind of the listener. The melodies, sounds and structure itself are enough to bring the listener into a certain mindset: a beat there would almost sound cheap, tacky. 'Just a Clown On Crack' has a trip-/hip-hop feel to it and was craving for a beat. It's also the last track of the album and, in a rather fluent way, brings the listener back to the misery and tragedy of the normal, everyday world. It's like returning from the OCC dimension with a soft landing."

'Prescription: Word, Sound and Power' presents the groundbreaking Chicago based house label's anthology, holding milestone songs + four previously unreleased tracks.

Prescription Records defined the 1990s deep house sound. Chez Damier and Ron Trent started the label in 1993, released some two-dozen singles in a four-year span, many of which attained legendary status on the underground scene. 'Chez Damier and I started the label, because we had the idea to take a certain level of fidelity and bring that fidelity to what people call tracks. Tracks being drum orientated Chicago rhythm tracks with a minimalistic melody. We were playing with that idea, expounding a point of
that minimalistic aspect and making it more complex', Trent explains.

Ron Trent was born in Massachusetts but raised in Chicago, listening to jazz and learning percussion. He began DJing in 1982, playing at area high schools. His first EP, containing the epic instrumental'Altered States,' was released on Armando Gallop's Warehouse Records in 1990. Chez Damier (Anthony Pearson) grew up in Chicago, where he danced at the Warehouse as a youth. He left for Detroit in the 1980s, helping to open the Music Institute and working A&R for Kevin Saunderson's label, KMS. Damier and Trent met while Damier was visiting Chicago and immediately hit it off.

Today, Prescription is cited by countless producers as a major influence. 'It's a very dub experimental label... sound bites, samples, rhythms, and a lot of ethereal stuff, too,' Trent expounds—not to mention. Prescription's embrace of heavy sub-bass. Concludes Trent, 'It was ahead of its time, definitely.'

Cakeman Records is a new record label created and curated by Dragos Ilici. The first release comes from romanian producer Teluric. "În Padurea Fermecata" means "in the magical forest" in romanian. Its name provides the track originality, and it piques curiosity. It is a trippy yet solid techno track, rich in atmospheres and pads, warm and intense in the same time.
"Magnetic Fields" is a stripped down dub techno track. Rolling hihats, a punchy kick drum that moves your body, and a classic dub techno stab combine in a simple yet groovy and effective track.

Woken from his infinite cryosleep sentence, Conforce operative Boris Bunnik is sent out to investigate an autopoietic conspiracy virus in the depths of the possibility matrix. Hotflush welcome Lara Wehbie aka Blursome to the ranks with her debut EP 'Rendition of You'. Raised in North Carolina and currently residing in Brooklyn, Wehbie has come a long way since beginning to work on music in 2011 as a way of channeling her diagnosed depression and anxiety.
She describes her work as a transitional darkness, something she says defined her sound even before she could manage the software she uses to make it. In her own words, 'Rendition of You EP signifies major transitions in my life over the past year and how my environment truly played a role in handling situations. It's a testament to how much happier I am now than I used to be. I still struggle but I'm truly thankful for the influences I have around me that have made me a better individual and artist.' Along the way she has attended the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp in 2015, and after an appearance on Scuba's 2016 fabric mix, she debuts on the label with an experimental six track EP.
Side A of "Rendition of You" introduces listeners to her experimental use of vocals and heavy percussive influences from the left field genre. Side B dives straight into dance floor material with pounding kicks and and interjecting vocals, but then slowly winds down into a more melancholic ending with piercing synths rattling through to the last drop.

Ornate Music continues in its mission to reach out to the freshest talent in the house and techno scene by shining a light on emergent German talent Faune, following last year's stellar releases by Ka One & St-Sene and Homepark.
Thus far, Jakob Panthel's production as Faune has been spotted on the Soundscape Versions label, while under his own name he has produced two albums released digitally on Crystalline Days. Most recently, he delivered the four-track Isvatten EP to Tuesday Slump, which operates out of his native Munich. As well as his rising release schedule, he has been appearing frequently on the circuit in Munich and Berlin, performing alongside the likes of A Made Up Sound, Stefan Jòs and Skudge.On this EP Panthel delivers three tracks of deep, hardware-powered techno with a keen dancefloor instinct, fitting right in to the ethos of Ornate and marking another step forward for Faune.

Our next release is by a young Brussels based artist that will be a new name to most of you.
Foreign Material has been into music since his youth. After studying percussions at the Conservatory and graduating in history, his interest in dark atmospheres led him to techno music. The spirit of his music is a mix of ancient myths and futuristic visions. Conceptual music, both mystical and cosmic, with a link between past and future. Here's what he had to say about his EP:
"'Omega System' is a journey to deep space and beyond, to the unknown destinations allowed by the mythical and mysterious Omega relay that's been turning around Omega's red sun since ages. But beware, the path that you will follow is dangerous and nobody ever came back. Some say that you will find death. Others that you will find great treasures. But some wise people think you will finally find Truth."
On remix duties are label friends Hiver, also known for their residency at Milan's Dude Club. Whereas the original tracks are more deep and floating, the Hiver remixes will be of high interest to many a dancefloor, you can trust us on that one.

Haraam (Arabic for forbidden, the opposite of halal) is Copenhagen-based noise artist Martin Schacke solo project. Going on since 2014, he has released a handful of tapes on underground labels as Fallow Field and Cønjuntø Vacíø as well as on his own Moral Defeat.

Largely inspired by the refugee crisis and changes in the political environment in northern Europe, these six tracks are a perfect blend of bass heavy rhythmic noise, lo-fi industrial techno with a great focus on atmosphere, droning noise and concrete soundscapes from the Middle-East.

Super Rhythm Trax release their first record of 2017 and it's a return for Jared Wilson who steps up with four tracks of Deep Acidic House music. These tracks burrow away and are certified ear-worms from the opening 'Getting That Feeling' with it's warm bassline complimented by lush pads and on the other end of the scale, the sparse menace of 'It's The Message', it's another great EP from the Detroit Acid don.

Temperature's Rising, the very first collaboration between Perc and Passarella Death Squad, came out quietly in 2010 and has since grown steadily into a cult favourite. Now it returns on Perc Trax, remastered for 2016, with the original vocal mix having a full side of vinyl to itself for the first time.
On the B-side is the 'Temperate Dub', originally created back in 2009 but which until now has remained unreleased. Dubbing out the original mix by reducing the vocal to a few echoing syllables it is a fresh take on an well loved favourite.

Bestial Burden, the previous album by Margaret Chardiet's Pharmakon project, focused on the disconnect between mind and body, looking at the human as an isolated consciousness stuck inside of a rotting vessel. For Contact, she wanted to look at the other side of the spectrum - the moments when our mind can come outside of and transcend our bodies. In trance states, music and the body are used to transcend the physical form and make contact with some outside force. Chardiet decided to structure the compo­sitions of each side of Contact after the stages of trance: preparation, onset, climax, and resolution.

Recordings over the last six years, Jean-Louis Huhta nails his strongest Dungeon Acid sound in both parts here: going deep and long with the stealthy modulations and grittily fluid, almost proggy drive of Acid Moments In Time And Space, and then like some long lost Mike Dunn or KMS banger with the shivering rimshots and thunderous acid undertow of Youth Against Fascism ('cos everyone knows Nazi's can't dance).
Switch to 45rpm on the flip and you'll find R. 'aswell on filthy good form in both parts: stewing some proper acid n0!se reflux in the gut-kicking iDEAL tape try (take #2), before the gloves come off for the unmetered squabble of iDEAL n0!se for tape, where his fascination for high freq Japanese power noise really comes to the fore with excoriating effect.

Sound Mirror presents the debut release of another new talent from the Orson Wells clique. "Kazuya Nagaya is a Japanese artist who creates immersive, ritualized compositions through the use of bronze bells, gongs and singing bowls. Since releasing his first album 'Utsuho' in 1999, he has composed music for a range of projects, ranging from collaborations with Tibetan Buddhist monks to a remix for Plastikman. Nagaya uses bronze bells, gongs and singing bowls which are mostly used in Buddhist or Hindu rituals in Tibet, Bali and Japan. He creates unique ambient music by mixing these sacred instruments with modern instruments.

Nagaya`s music is rooted in philosophies and sensibilities unique to Japan. Both Japanese Buddhism -the likes of Zen- and Japan's exquisite forms of artistic expression, such as ink paintings and haiku, all put high value on extreme simplicity entirely free from ornamentation, and indeed it is in their simplicity that they express, paradoxically, the profundity of their spirituality. In this same sense, the ambient music produced by Kazuya Nagaya aims to convey profundity of spirit to the listener by virtue of its very simplicity."

Japanese producer XTAL, or Crystal, with plenty of form on the legendary Japanese label Crue-L Records, takes up remixing duties to re-map Nagaya's spiritual sound worlds. Swerving out of the wormhole, hurtling on into cinematic hyperspace, he paints an earthly interlude on the yang-chin.

Kevin Arnemann and Daan Kemp's Taped Artifact label clocks up its fourth release with a three track offering from Outlaw Rec boss and key part of the Italian Serendipity club, namely Matthew Oh. Matthew has previously released on his own label and others like Side Off, and eloquently marries dub, techno and house into smooth and sensuous sonic landscapes. The opening track 'Psycho Hub' is an atmospheric and spacious roller with dubbed out drums and pads, coupled with incendiary hi hats urging you along. 'Shroud' is seven minutes of slick and spaced out deep techno with liquid synths and clacking hits all racing along and making for a frictionless groove that sucks you right in. Finally, 'Get in the Fridge' slows the tempo down and becomes an even more widescreen and roomy roller with suspensory pads, smeared synths and aqueous sonic details that make you feel like you are floating in sound.

'F = ma' is an hard techno Ep, dynamic and pressing both for
side A and side B. A two-track Ep that was inspired by the
physics formula's second law of motion which states that the
acceleration of a body is directly proportional and in the
same direction of the force acting on it, while it is inversely
proportional to its mass .
The track on side A, entitled "Massa" is a techno track,
properly basic, structured on a massive scale, and that is why
it was chosen as the track for side A minded for a dance
floor set. A piece that starts with decision, full of body and
massive , and that is why was named Massa.
The track on the B side, "Accelerazione" is more quite, but
another dance track for this great disc. A bit more slender
and smooth, with broad- acceleration in a dance floor
moment certainly forwarded more than the cervical part of a
set, to be spent at the end to throw the disc to the latest beats.

* The Livity Sound label has been at the forefront of UK electronic music for the last few years, pushing its distinct take on techno with sound system frequencies. The reverse Livity Sound label (or dnuoS ytiviL) has run concurrently alongside, releasing music complementing and reflecting the core artists output. The compilation will mark the first time the catalogue has been available digitally, previously having been vinyl only.

Failsafe is a new label created by, and primarily for the release of, material by Juxta Position, who's output was previously featured on Rhythm Nation, and on DVS1's Mistress Recordings imprint. Juxta Position first came to the attention of the electronic music world in 2013, with the release of "Juxta Position Vol 1" on Mistress. This debut release contained the widely popular track "Mercy", which was featured on Midland's RA Mix, Licensed to Deetron's fabric 76 DJ mix release, and found it's way into the crates of many different DJs across the spectrum of house and techno. Inaugurating the first Failsafe release, Juxta Position delivers two slices of upfront hypnotic techno, custom made for cutting edge DJs to provide maximum dancefloor damage.

Max McFerren checks in for the third time (but first under his given name) on 1080p, taking risks and hittin' on life over four tracks of weirded-out acid and funk-tinged elations on the 'Sipps' 12'. Created in a time of complete uncertainty about the future in NYC's Chinatown, McFerren explores the purity of the break and acid ecologies, utilizing a 'take me to your dealer' type of alien funk vocabulary in order to explore and push his own voice into a stranger place.
'Sipps' is a survey of sorts; synthesizing his previous MCFERRDOG tape frivolities and a more real life / real name club-based language with thoughts towards of figuring out what is the most 'you' in your music are clearly audible; touching down to earth for the first time, trying to make friends, and learning about yourself in the process.

Since the beginning of Co´meme, until today we feel a connection to the electronic beats from South Africa. Co´meme tracks like "Pata pata", "Osea... Hello", "El Sucu Tucu" and many more prove this, and one main inspiration, is DJ Spoko, partner of DJ Mujava, for whom he wrote and produced the legendary "Township Funk".
But also in Joburg, and without our knowledge, Co´meme tunes were dropped at some of the coolest parties in town, so Matias Aguayo aka The Don jumped of joy when he was invited to play there, where he met Spoko and started to jam with him in a studio in the center of Joburg!
Jamming and smoking till the break of dawn, they put together these tracks, that carry the spirit of this label, the vibe of Joburg nights, the 'Bacardi' rhythms from the Atteridgeville township outside Pretoria, comemian latin- tech grooves, the dancesteps on the carpet of Kitchener's Bar in Braamfontein and the hotness of a Co´meme night in Medelli´n, Cologne or Buenos Aires.
1. Dirty Dancing
The title track is a banger for the body-conscious dancefloor, as all tunes on this EP. "Watch what you're doing!" Spoko Aguayo and Moonchild (Yes! The Moonchild!) holla on top of an irresistible beat and a droney bassline, making you either wanna jump or go side to side, or just down, down, down, 100% dance floor approved.
2. Ghost of Dombolo
Already a classic on some Joburg nights, "Ghost Of Dombolo" is a dirty modern tune to jack to in several ways, provoking provocative moves in those who know how to generate them!
3. Something about the Groove
Here comes another dance fundamentalist, and we can hardly imagine someone more fit to join Spoko and Aguayo on this trip: Elbee Bad, also known as the Prince of Dance - he here provides an acapella called "Something about the groove" and a rhythm that Spoko and Aguayo crafted while they were waiting for Moonchild to come to the studio.
4. Taxi Rank Closing the EP here comes an anthem, much inspired by the "Taxis" - being at a time the most efficient way of getting your music heard in town! A driving solo of electronic Kalimba for nonstop dancefloor kraze in the very own style of this EP.

The second Vortex Traks compilation features driving and spacy electro cuts from Kan3da and Morphology on the A-side. On the flip Mr Velcro Fastener make it more funky while The Guide Girls round off the EP nicely with their dreamy and melodic track.

Blaring and unnerving, YYYY's 'Intention Of Mortal' gets revisited with a remix package featuring Lucy, Varg, Ascion and YYYY themselves, resulting in a barrage of arpeggiated behaviour and regimented soundscapes.
A force pushing forward creativity with on-point refinement, Lucy immediately veers in with his visceral power of sound. An avalanche of intricate and experimental arrangement soon meets a series of astute percussion and typical foreboding energy, retaining a certain texture-over-beat throughout.
YYYY's depth of music imagination & influence is heard in this highly charged, awestricken ensemble for their rework of 'Intention Of Mortal'. Unfolding a mixture of fear and complication, this track keeps you thinking as well as moving. An almost endless supply of plucked synth rhythm keeps the chaos taut and throughout.
Ascion's remix of 'Stone Relief of Gods Faces' credits the release with clean kicks, industrial clanks and atmospheric keys. This no-nonsense approach to production is not to be underestimated; a dream-state sequence of induced electronic abstraction.
The first and most immediate observation of B2 is Vargs take on 'Reach For Forgiveness' - a menacing, pin-sharp account of the visceral power of techno, dialling in to both tense and euphoric.
The ambiguity of each track lends itself to its success; meticulous in detail and curated with passion. A release that divulges the mysterious sonic world and deviates from the expected.

Attention please, we'd like to shine a light on the man whose records would come to define many a Numbers party, who once described his music as "for the strippers, for the street'. The original master of Ghetto House, the one and only DJ Deeon.

Hailing from the Southside of Chicago, Deeon started out selling mixtapes in his local neighbourhood and playing at sweatbox house parties. Soon he'd graduate from DJ'ing to production, creating gritty XXX club tracks purely for the moment and the party. The music came from the classic drum machines that provided the spark for Chicago House and Detroit Techno whilst the lyrics and call & response chants were inspired by the parties he frequented.

These tracks - originally released from 1994 onwards on the seminal Dance Mania label and now remastered from the original DAT tapes for re-release on Numbers - would go on to forge the Ghetto House sound alongside fellow DJ's: Funk, Jammin' Gerald, Slugo, Paul Johnson & Houz'Mon. What made Deeon's tracks special was that when he told you to shake it, that's exactly what you did.

Deeon continues to produce and DJ to this day. We fulfilled a longstanding ambition of ours by having him play at one of our 10th Anniversary Parties in New York in 2013, and whilst he's still doing records for Dance Mania we at Numbers wanted to highlight some of the tracks that we love the most. So with the full blessing of Deeon himself, we have compiled our version of a DJ Deeon greatest hits EP.

We kick things off with '2 B Free' taken from 1996's 'Deeon Doez Disco', its monstrous jacking drums providing the guts for the First Choice sample to ride on top if it.

Next is 'House-O-Matic', which was originally part of 1994's 'Funk City' twelve. Hammered by Mills and almost everyone else back in the 90's - it's all about the raw drums and rubbery bassline.

We then stride forward to 1996's 'Freak Like Me', adding an x-rated taste of feminine pressure to the mix before closing off is one of the grittiest jack tracks we know, 'The 604'. Pure analogue madness.

This record is dedicated to the legacy of DJ Deeon, a man whose music born in Chicago went on to inform many an underground dance scene around the globe, from Glasgow to Rio to South Africa and back. We urge you all to continue buying Deeon's records, to see him DJ wherever possible and to carry on shaking dat ass to the classics.

Farr has a diverse catalogue, with three well-received releases on Turbo as well as records with DSNT, Leisure System and Power Vacuum. Few producers can claim to have remixed Tiga and been remixed by Truss.

Though Farr has an extensive history with Bloc., this will be his first outing on the label, a release that incorporates sounds that both Bloc and Joe are famed for.
The first track, 'RPM' features prominently in the Bloc festival trailer and is the soundtrack to the 2016 weekender. Hissing high hats and an atmospheric baseline quickly develop into an explosive anthem designed to get feet moving. 'Rolling and Thatching' conveys an immediate punch of 90's acid, followed by techno heavy 'Workout Three' with crunching beats and an unremitting delivery worthy of the Berghain dance floor.

'Fuel' opens the EP with an impressive arrangement of reverberating low end tones, crisp hats and snaking synth lines before 'Rush Over' switches up the aesthetic with it's offering of soft melodies, laid back grooves and shuffling drum licks. Third track 'Menduz Affair' then builds from a series of lo-fi glitches and pops, with punchy 4x4 kicks and an infectious low-slung groove line revealing a production aimed at the dancefloor. Last up, vinyl only offering 'Tot Cubas' rounds out the release in fine style, ebbing and flowing through 6 minutes of raw, intricate percussion patterns that are packed full of swing.
